As several thousands of quinces began firing at the millions of hollows coming out from the massive Descorrer openings in the sky and within minutes, the once beautiful green fertile land of the Soul Society was torn apart by the brutality of war as once magnificent buildings and rigid stone walls that once stood for centuries were blown apart. In contrast, tens of thousands of hollows were slewed by spiritual weapons and purified by holy arrows.

Yet In, despite all the valiant efforts of the Quincy and Fullbringers, the hollows were endless and relentless in their assault . As many agents and Soldats alike were slashed, crushed, torn apart, and devoured by the vengeful spirits, littering the fields and streets of the holds with bodies and soaking the ground with their split blood and flesh by the hundreds. With the sternrriters, the apprentice knights, the officers, and the special agents being the only ones powerful enough to slow down the unstoppable waves of hollows coming out.

Candice summoned dozens of lightning bolts from the sky that electrocuted as many hollows as far as the eye could see.

Bazz-B unleashed his Burner Finger Two and sent a trail of explosions that blew up his foes to smithereens and burned their remains to ash.

As Nodt launched hundreds of thorns that paralyzed countless of the corrupted spirits with unbearable fear, to the point that all that were impaled died of fright.

James's use of wrestling moves and super-human strength devastated entire hoards of the enemy by crushing them with his fists, arms, legs, and feet or from just the sheer shockwaves released from his blows.

And Kiyv, upon summoning an ice cutlass sword, approached a massive gathering of hollows that completely covered an entire area that stretched for miles. Then with a simple swipe of the blade, every one of the vile sprites was bisected through the waist before freezing over and dispersing into fluffs of snow.

Yet they all knew that this was just the beginning of the invasion. As moments later, the lowest level of Menos, the Gillains emerged from the Discorrer by the hundreds of thousands, and all of them began charging Ceros at the city holds.

Then one of the Officers noticed the attack and immediately called out an order.

'Raise shields now!

Then as if the entire army heard them. Multiple Quinces then began to place countless devices on the ground right outside the borders of the holds. Soon, dozens upon dozens of shields began overlaying on top of each other and covering the handles and the entire silver city itself.

Which, after doing so, blocked the barrage of ceros in their tracks, protecting the Quincy and the fullbringers. Much to their relief.

Meanwhile, within the command center.

'The fifty-two reshi barriers have been deployed in each of the following holds, Grandmaster!' One of the Quincy operatives announced.

'Good. Be sure to advise our men and the agents to keep all the barriers up as long as possible until the Espada arrives. We are still only dealing with just the second wave' Hashwalth ordered.

'Yes, Sir!' The Quincy communicator responded and immediately began to relay that order to the rest of the squadrons.

'The barriers should be enough to hold the upcoming waves of Menos. But it would be another matter entirely once the Arrancar arrived,' Robert commented while looking at the main screens depicting the hollows held off by the barriers. 'Anyway, have Ichigo, and the royal managed to pass through the Garganta?' Robert asked Jurgram, and the grandmaster nodded.

'According to BG9, they have already done so and are now waiting for a response from Quilge for their arrival in Hecuco Mundo. In the meantime, we shall focus on dealing with the hollow hoard and the Arrancars who have dared invade this sacred realm...' Hashwath then stared up at the screen. Showing more masses of hollows invading. 'And pray that Ichigo Kurosaki successfully takes down the hollow king once and for all.'

Later within the desert sands of The hollow realm. A crack suddenly appeared within the air itself. Before shattering itself and out of it came Ichigo, Lille Barro, and Gremmy. Having finally existed from the dark cavity and on to their destination.

'Well, that was a fun trip,' Gremmy chirped before eyeing Ichigo. 'Still, with how crappy your spiritual platform, I thought you would trip yourself over and fall!' He teased, which made Ichigo roll his eyes.

'Ugh, whatever,' the shinigami brushed off. 'As long as it was good enough to get me across that abyss, I don't care, and besides, it's not like any of you were offered to help me.'

Lille Barro then huffed. 'If you are powerful enough to take down Barragan himself, I expected you to at least create a platform stable enough to stand on, and besides...' his eyes drifted upwards towards the sky. 'You will need all the practice you can get if you plan to defeat the hollow king.'

Ichigo followed Lille's gaze and then widened his eyes in shock upon seeing that Hueco Mundo's moon instead of being white and crescent. It was now full and colored in deep, bright crimson that illuminated the entire desert with its glow, and below it, he saw a gigantic, almost country-sized black mountain where Las Noches used to be.

But then, as the shinigami adjusted his eyes, he realized to his horror that it wasn't a mountain at all but an innumerable hoard of hollows flying around and screeching at each other.

A surprise that didn't go unnoticed by Gremmy.

'Quite foreboding' The royal guard commented, and Ichigo turned his head around to face him. 'Once Barragan grew significant enough in power. He used his spiritual power to color the moon of this realm from crescent white to a full-blood red. To symbolize his complete dominance and control over all of Heuco Mundo. Then to protect his fortress of Las Noches from invaders, he called upon billions of hollows to form a barrier known as the Black Wall' Gremmy and then looked up at the hoard of the masked spirits . 'Due to the sheer number of them, it became impossible for us Quincy or even the Fullbringers to get through the fortress with just strength alone unless we risked the balance of the universe by purifying so many souls at once'

The young man then placed both of his hands behind his head. 'Still, even without the hoard protecting him, it makes me glad that old bag of bone decided to stay in his fortress of Las Noches. Because if he can to do something like that to a celestial object just to show off...' Gremmy's eyes then darken. 'It would be terrifying to see what would happen when he goes all out. The royal guard then smirked at an Ichigo. 'Lucky for us, huh?'

The Shingmai then looked at The blond sterner in exasperation. 'Yeah...lucky' he then let out a breath. 'But still, if Barragan has that many hollows surrounding him, how are we supposed to get through?'

Lille's phone then began to ring. Which he then proceeds to pick up and place over his ear.

'Yes...alright, we are on our way,' Lille suddenly answered from his phone and then placed it away in his pocket. 'Well, Ichigo Kurosaki, we should already have an answer for that; come on!'

Sometime later, the group followed Lille Barrow to the menos forest and eventually found a small camp full of quinces that rested by a campfire in a clearing.

Their clothes looked ragged from worn and tear, while many had multiple-bandage wounds covering various parts of their body. While some even had noticeable missing limbs.

'Just...' Ichigo mused in sympathy and concern. 'How long have these guys been here?'

Then coming out of a giant tent in the middle of the camp was Quilge Opie. Who looked the cleanest out of all of his subordinates. Though he still had a tired look on his face.

'Ichigo Kurosaki, Lille Barro, and, Gremmy thoumeaux

The sternrriter announced while bowing. 'Welcome to our humble camp in the forest of the menos. I hope you didn't have too much trouble on your arrival here.'

Lille Barrow shrugged. 'Not too much trouble. Anyway, I have you have found another entrance past the Black Dome?'

'I have,' Quincy said while turning around and hand singled the rest of his men to his side. 'It is right this way.'

After an hour and a half of walking, The Group came upon a massive white tower in the middle of the forest that led straight up to the surface and two huge double doors that act as its entrance.

Quilge then walked up ahead. 'According to my scouts, this tower acts as an entry point to allow the Arrancar of Las Noches. To enter and exit out of the menos forest without needing to traverse the sands of the desert and feed on the hollows here for their own connivence.' He then looked up at the tower. 'Which will hopefully take you all up to surface where Barragan's throne lies.'

The group then walked near the double door gate of the tower, and Quigle then open both them up and on the other side, they found Di Roy smirking right at them.

'You!?' Ichigo shouted out immanently upon recognizing the Arrancar and the same one that nearly impaled his universe's Chad and then readying both of his swords. But Lilli quickly placed his right on his shoulder.

'Relax, the kid, he is on our side,' the Royal guard said calmly, while the Shinigami looked at him in confusion.

'So you got one of Grimmjow's Fraccion as a mole?' Ichigo question, but Di Roy merely chuckled.

'Not exactly...' the Arrancar said in a much different voice than Kurosaki remembered. Then before his eyes, the hollow's appearance transformed into a young light brown-haired man with a third eye and looked precisely like the King's double from the royal palace.

Much to Ichigo's Shock and confusion.

'From what I can tell by your expression. You must have already met my brother Lyoud Lyoud' The young man said and bowed. 'I am Ryoud Lyoud, the twin sternrriter, who also carries the schrift of the Y the Yourself, and I will act as your guide into the Palace Of The Night.'
