When Ulquiorra and Orhime clashed against one another it was like seeing two opposing forces battling against one another.

With one representing life and protection, while the other embodied death and annihilation, as shown in their fighting styles. With Ulquiorra trying to cut down the young girl with cold, calculated, and precise strikes with his zanpakuto. While Orhime defended against his strikes with careful timing, patience, and grace with her arm shields. Yet before the battle could intensify further. Both of them felt the fluctuation of two great spiritual pressures before one of them immediately flickered out.

'So you have a sense of it too girl?' The Third Espada spoke harshly. 'Already two of your comrades have fallen with one of them ending up dead and by the weakest, within the Espada ' he then narrowed his eyes on the woman. 'And soon the rest of the Sternritter and you Directors will meet the same fate...So tell me do you still insist on fighting your inevitable fate?'

Orhime then stared at Ulquirorra for a bit and then smiled. 'Why would I accept my fate when the battle has just started?' She question. 'After all just because a few of our comrades have fallen doesn't mean the tide can't turn around for us'

Ulquiorra then furrowed his brow. ' And under what impression do think it will ?'

Orhime shrugged. 'I just simply hope it does, for neither of us can truly determine the outcome of this war Ulquiorra. Regardless of what odds or advantages we might have over one another and sometimes we can only hope that things will get better for us, even in the darkest of times

The pale Arrancar then sneered. 'That is nothing more than blind belief'

The young woman then smirked. 'Is it any worse than baseless denial?'

Ulquiorra then gripped the handle of his zanpakuto hard and then pointed it at Orhime. 'Then perhaps we should continue this fight? To determine which one of us is blind or baseless'

Orhime then readied her shields. 'If that is what you want'

Then without another second wasted the two clash once more.

Meanwhile at the academy.

'Hmmm?' Patros hummed as he saw his blade was entangled by several threads of reshi and to his surprise, he found that his entire body as well along with Gigia's was entangled by them.

'What sort of mockery is this!?' The Espada questioned before turning his head around and upon seeing the one casting the threads, his eyes narrowed in understanding.

Souken Ishida.

'I supposed that you are responsible for this?' Patros asked. But elder Ishida's face remains unchanged.

'I refuse to allow any more Quincy blood to be spelled by you hollows' he uttered as he gripped his left fist that held the Reishi threads. 'Not so long as I am the headmaster of this sacred institution!

'Oh, headmaster huh?' Ggio said sarcastically before flexing his muscles and breaking out of the thread, while Patros does the same by swiping his sword.

'Then you must be much more impressive than those fodder we just slaughtered' the 9th Espada said with a chuckle. 'Still though, isn't it a bit cocky for you to fight both of us at the same time?'

Souken then glared at his enemy. 'What makes you think that I came alone?'

Suddenly Patros and Ggio noticed that the entire area was filled with orbs of Reishi that slowly descended from the sky and inserted themselves into some of the fallen Quincy, who were immediately revived and proceeded to get themselves back up.

Much to the two Espada's bewilderment.

'Well that is interesting...' Ggio thought as he immediately rushed towards the Quincy. ''But ultimately pointless' he kicked one of the soldats in the stomach...only for the latter to completely shrugged off the attack and retaliated with a sword stab. Forcing the 9th Espada to back away.

'How did he-?' Vega began to pounder until he realized that several of the quinces jump up above him and then rain down a storm of holy arrows upon the Espada. Thus forcing the Arrancar to once again nimbly dodge out of the way.

'It's not just the fact they were healed but they got much stronger too?' Ggio thought as he analyzed the speed and power of the arrows. 'Just what is going on here?

While Ggio was busy fighting the quinces. Patros made his way to Souken.

'I do not know who aids you. But I will end this charade here and now' The Diez said as he began to ready his sword. 'Gerifalte Level Eight!' He uttered before drawing his sword and unleashing a slash of energy at the headmaster.

However, a young woman immediately jump right in front of the blast...and absorbed it much to Patros' shock.

'What trickery is this?!' He spat in anger at the teen. Who revealed herself to be Yuzu Kurosaki.

'Oh it's not trickery' Yuzu said with a charming smile. 'That is just the power of my schrift!' She announced and then fired a holy arrow from her bow. That was to Patro's disbelief, charged with his spiritual energy. Forcing the latter to block the arrow and causing it to explode on the flat of his blade.

'Hmph...' Patros sneered. 'So I can assume that you are another Sternritter perhaps?'

Yuzu smirked. 'One in training at least'

The Espada then chuckled. 'Really? Well, whenever you are in training or not. I might as well give the proper respect you deserve' he then redraws out his zanpakuto. 'Gesmute level 12!'

Patros then unleashed another energy slash from his sword. Only this time it was colored a light yellow and far wider than any of the other energy slashes he unleashed. Yet Yuzu just stretched out her hand and absorbed it just as easily.

However, the Espada was far from done.

'So you can absorb that level of the attack, were you? Well, let us see if you can handle multiple rounds of it!' He declared and immediately Patros began to redraw his zanpakuto from his sheath multiple times in rapid succession, resulting in him firing multiple slashes of energy at Yuzu. Yet she continued to absorb all the attacks that the Espada had thrown at her. Much to his frustration.

'You can keep on absorbing my blows all you want Sternttier!' Patros shouted with contempt while continuing to fire blasts at her. 'Eventually, you will reach your limit and when you do I will finish you!

'Perhaps' Yuzu said as she used the flying step to get behind the tenth Espada, much to his surprise. 'But I never intended to just absorb your attacks'

The sterndrive then stretched out both of her hands and form several balls of Reishi in the air. Each contains the spiritual energy that she absorbed from Patros' energy slashes.

'If anything...' Yuzu then held out her right hand. 'I always planning to return them all right back to you!' She then snapped her fingers. Which caused all the Reishi orbs that absorbed Patros energy attacks to rush right at him before the Espada could do anything and then all the orbs detonated in a massive explosion.
