Chapter Nineteen

Getaway

Back at Optimus, Ironhide and Ratchet's battle against the Undead, Megatron watched as Optimus managed to fight his way through the purple veined cybertronions.

The Prime had continued to slash and slice his way through and now stood on the ground before Megatron's perch as Ratchet and Ironhide continued to fight.

The grey, purple eyed warlord looked down at the furious looking Prime.

"Bravo, Optimus." Megatron praised, yet instead of mocking he was impressed that his enemy was able to fight all those undead creatures and had made it to him,

"Though this is but a prelude. You may wish to save your strength for the main event."

Optimus narrowed his optics as he looked up at Megatron.

Venting and gathering his strength he retracted his swords as he walked up to the wall of rocks that Megatron stood at the top of.

He then leapt up and started climbing upwards towards the Warlord determined to get up close and personal and hopefully stop him from creating more chaos that would mean danger to his comrades who still fought below, or worse to humanity.

"You will not prevail, Megatron." Optimus panted "Not while Energon still runs through my veins."

Before long he reached the top of Megatron's perch, yet the grey Warlord didn't move, yet he waited until Prime made it to the top then he knelt to look Prime in the optics.

"Fitting for it is Dark Energon which flows through mine." Megatron remarked with a smirk.

As he finished that sentence, Optimus punched him hard in the face, making him stumble back, but then Megatron regained his composure and he jumped into the air just as Optimus climbed up.

He then transformed into his jet mode and flew away, Optimus firing shots at the retreating Decepticon commander but he wasn't able to strike him down.

A few more shots were fired from below and Optimus looked down to see Ratchet and Ironhide climbing the wall to reach him, yet Ironhide was firing at Megatron as he held on.

"Sparkless Fragging coward!" he shouted, "Come back and face us like a Mech!"

Optimus bent down and helped Ratchet up then called down to Ironhide.

"Ironhide! Cease fire!" he ordered "Do not waste your strength on what cannot be achieved now."

Ironhide looked up at Optimus and stopped firing as Megatron was now too far away to be shot down and he climbed up the wall and Ratchet and the Prime helped him up as well.

The trio looked down at the mess of now deceased and broken apart undead cybertronions, all littering the ground and they knew they would have to report this to Agent Fowler.

But there was something more important that worried them greatly.

"If this wasn't Megatron's endgame…" Ratchet started nervously as he looked down at the remains.

"Then what is?" Ironhide finished the question and looked at Optimus, yet the Prime didn't reply as he was almost afraid to admit what Megatron could be planning yet he narrowed his optics determined to find out what.

Back on the Decepticon Warship, Donatello, Michelangelo and Kemeko looked up at the screens where Donatello had spotted the Cybertronian equation.

Donatello had managed to find a flash drive in one of his pouches on his belt and was looking for a port, yet he couldn't see one anywhere.

"Shell!" he groaned as he looked at the screens and the area around them "This tech is way alien!"

"No Shit Brainiac!" Michelangelo said but then he yelped in fright as he saw a vehicon striding over from the corner.

"Oh no!" Kemeko cried then called over "Uncle Don!"

Donatello looked up and he too saw the Vehicon and started to move away, but it was too late as the Vehicon saw them and charged his gun to fire at them!

"RUN!" Michelangelo screamed and the trio jumped away from each other just as the Vehicon fired.

"Stay apart!" Donatello shouted, "Confuse the con!" he ran behind it whilst Michelangelo ran to the left and Kemeko to the side.

It worked as the vehicon missed them and started firing everywhere to try and catch them.

Donatello then got an idea and ran to the doors of the command room.

As he did, the Vehicon shot the doors blasting them open and Donatello saw they had an escape route.

"Mikey! Kemeko!" he shouted, "Come on!"

Seeing the open door provided by the Vechion Michelangelo and Kemeko saw their chance and raced over to Donatello, and they ran out of the command room.

"Go! Go! Go!" Donatello shouted and they raced into the hallways, the vehicon following close behind.

In the brig, Monalisa, Leonardo and Raphael ran over to Pandora to check her over.

"Baby?" Monalisa shrieked as she studied her daughter who lay there unresponsive.

"Princess?" Raphael shouted as he stroked the Pandora's cheek, fear pooling in his stomach "No...please no!"

Bumblebee bleeped in worry as he too looked over the hybrid who lay there unconscious, her hair all bushy and static as well as electrical burns on her hands.

Leonardo glared and leaned down his niece's mouth and nose to check to see if she was breathing and he was relieved to see she was.

"She's alive!" he said, "But she's knocked out cold!"

"Oh thank fuck" Raphael cried, he was looking rather pale and Monalisa just wept with relief.

Bumblebee bleeped as he gathered Pandora in his servos and Arcee looked over holding Fowler.

"That's good to hear!" she said looking at Pandora.

"Come on, let's find the others and get out of here!"

"Good plan!" Bulkhead agreed "I'll go and find Mike, Don and Kemeko! You and Bumblebee get Leo, Mona, Raph, and Pandora off the ship!"

Arcee agreed and Bumblebee transformed and Arcee placed Fowler in the backseat and Pandora in the passenger seat."

"I'll go with Pandora!" Leonardo said, "You guys go with Arcee!" he said to Raphael and Monalisa.

Raphael and Monalisa were reluctant, but they trusted their leader and Arcee transformed, and the couple got onto her seat and held on tight as they raced out of the brig.

Bulkhead meanwhile ran on ahead and transformed to look for Donatello, Michelangelo and Kemeko.

He hadn't gone far when he saw the two turtles and Kemeko running towards him with a Vehicon in pursuit.

He beeped his horn and transformed before going after the vehicon and pounding him to scrap with his fists then he did a roll forward and transformed back into his vehicle form before driving back to Michelangelo, Kemeko and Donatello.

"Get in!" he ordered opening his doors and the trio leapt inside.

No sooner did they do so than Bulkhead drove off.

"You got them?" Donatello asked as he strapped himself in.

"We did!" Bulkhead assured him "Leo, Mona, and Fowler! Raph and Mona too!"

"Dad!" Kemeko cried relieved.

"Aww yeah man!" Michelangelo cheered as Bulkhead drove them out of the warship followed by Arcee and Bumblebee with their passengers.

Inside Bumblebee, Leonardo looked over at Pandora who lay in the passenger seat still out like a light, as well as Fowler who was bruised and burnt in places but otherwise alive.

"Hang in there." He said, "We'll get you back to the base and April and Donnie will look you over."

He squeezed Pandora's hand then looked over at Fowler who to his surprise looked up and leaned into the front seat.

"I like pie..." he slurred "Can we stop for pie?"

The blue masked turtle was shocked, but he was glad Fowler was alive, as well as impressed at how strong he had been against the torture of Starscream.

"You are a strong one." He thought then looked through the window as they entered the open air after leaving the Decepticon Warship.

Meanwhile, Raphael and Monalisa rode on Arcee as they followed Bulkhead and Bumblebee out of the warship and out into the Nevada Desert.

"What took you so long?" Raphael demanded.

"We had no way of returning to base to ground bridge to your co-ordinates!" Arcee explained "We commed into the base and we heard the voices of your master and two friends, but they had no idea how to work the control to bridge us back, so we had to put metal to pedal to get to you!"

"What? Oh man!" Raphael said feeling guilty at the thought that they hadn't been there to help bridge them back so they could get there quicker.

"How did you guys manage to find Fowler?" Arcee asked.

"Donatello was able to track Fowler!" Monalisa explained "Via a chip implanted in him! We'll explain in full detail back at base!"

"Please do!" Arcee said "We have a lot to explain when Optimus returns!" she then put metal to the pedal and drove faster to get back to the base.

So Optimus, Ironhide and Ratchet got through the battle with the undead, yet Megatron escaped yet not without hinting he has plans for later!

Meanwhile the Hamato Clan and the other Autobots have escaped from the Decepticon Warship, and Pandora is thankfully alive if not still unconcious, and so is Fowler!

What will happen when they return to base?
