Grimmjow growled in annoyance as he looked down into the deep enormous cavity that used to be a city block. Exposing the sewer system underneath, which was now a massive hole of torn pips and shattered walls and floors.
'Slippery bastard' The Espada cursed before using Sonido to disappear and when he was gone. Moe, hiding within one of the sewer tunnels, sighs in relief as he clinched the stump that used to be his left arm.
'Damn it...' he breathed lowly. 'I thought when I shattered his zanpakuto It would prevent him from using either his Resurrección or Segunda Etapa...guess that was a massive blunder on my part
He then pulled out his last fullbring from his right pocket. Which was a spinning wheel with numbers on its sides labeled from ten to one hundred.
'Wheel of Fortune...' he thought to himself as stared at the device. 'Like like Jackpot Knuckle and Snake Eyes Dice. It allows me to manipulate probability to my advantage, however...' he then flashbacks to the time in which he was nearly torn to bits by Grimmjow. 'Whatever fortune or unfortunate I expose to myself or my enemies is entirely based on chance and lucky for me, I was able to land on an 85, thus suffering only a couple of flesh wounds'
Moe then slipped down on the walls of the sewer 'Still with the gates to the black city close I have to make my way back to the medical center on foot and hope that it hasn't been attacked yet...or that I don't bleed out by then...' he then looked towards the black tunnel. 'Can only hope the rest of the guys are doing better against these Espada than me'
Later at the academy
Souken breathed heavily as he continued to fire shots at his enemy. Yet ultimately it prove futile, as the 9th Espada easily evaded every one of his arrows before slicing him to pieces with his zanpakuto. While not even winded himself.
'Must admit old timer you sure do know how to stay in the game ' Ggio said meekly. 'But unfortunately, that is all you are capable of
Souken then remained silent while readying himself with another arrow.
'I mean you can keep patching yourself up as much as you want, but it an't going to do you any good if you can't hit me, and not only that but it is quite obvious that maintaining that technique of yours is taking its toll' The Espada criticized while twirling his sword. 'Basically, the only thing I need to beat you at this point is just to wear you down
The headmaster then huffed. 'And tell me this Espada...what honesty makes you think I intended to beat you?'
Suddenly Ggio felt a presence behind him as a swiping kick came at his head forcing him to dodge at the last minute and when he looked up at his attacker he saw that he was facing a dark-skinned woman with black hair and wearing a white biker outfit with a hat and a scarf. While four miniature engines were strapped on her left shoulder.
For it was Jackie Tristan Director of the Discipline and Punishment Division of the Xcuation.
'Well it seems we have someone making trouble on school grounds' she quipped. While her shoulder engine roared and immediately covered her entire suite with motor oil. 'It would seem that I need to teach a bad boy like you a lesson
Jackie then stomp her right foot on the ground and sent a massive tremor that caused the nearby school buildings to collapse onto the ground.
But Vega merely smirked at the display of power. 'Well at the least I finally going to get a proper challenge!' He then rushed at the women with blinding speed.
Meanwhile, Yuzu herself continued to battle against Patros within the air. As she dodges the rapid energy blasts from the Demica's Resurrección. While continuing to shoot holy arrows at him.
Yet it only seemed to annoy the Espada.
'What is the matter sternrriter?' Patros asked mockingly which made the young Quincy pause.
'Ever since I have released my zanpakuto you have yet to empower yourself with your orbs,' he commented. 'Is it because you already ran out of them for your use?' Yuzu then swallowed nervously as the man continued to ponder. 'Or is it because you are saving your best tools when I go into my Segunda Etapa?'
Yuzu kept her face quiet and stern. Yet she cannot help but admit the Espada had already figured her out. For while she did have plenty of other orbs at her disposal and could create more. It would just leave her vulnerable to attack if she even attempt the action and not only that but she could not waste them when her enemy isn't even going full out. However, at the same time...attacking him as she is now wasn't the answer either.
Yuzu then let out a sigh. It would seem that she has no choice.
She then raised her right hand.
'God's Cure!' She shouted out and immediately Yuzu was surrounded by a blinding pillar of light that absorbed all the nearby spiritual partials around her and when it shattered. The Quincy was in her holy form.
She had two small feather wings on her back, a Heiligenschein in the shape of a wreath over her head, and in her hand, a majestic rode wrapped in vines. All of which were made out of blue glowing reishi.
Patros then chuckled in amusement. 'So you finally decided to unveil your Vollstanging eh?' He then began to charge his body with his spiritual energy. 'Too bad it won't be enough to save you!'
His body then began to yellow glow with energy. ' Gerifalte Level Seventeen Burst Forth!' He shouted as he launched a far larger blast of spiritual power from his left arm at Yuzu and upon making contact with its target a massive explosion was detonated. Which send out a shockwave so intense that it shattered all the windows from the buildings below and cause the very earth to shake.
'Burst Forth is an extension of my Gerifalte's ranked strikes amplified by ten times over he mused to himself as looked at the explosion. 'Combine with the Gerifalte Level Seventeen strikes which increase my attack power by exactly seventeen times fold. That Quincy would be enduring an attack over one hundred twenty times stronger than one that took out Berenice'
He then smiled in victory. 'Even if she went into her holy form. The best she can hope for is being a burnt-out corpse'
However, before he could turn to leave he noticed that upon the smoke clearing he saw that Yuzu was not only still alive. But completely unaffected by the blast save for a few burns, Patros also noticed that she was covered in a protective barrier upon closer inspection.
The Espada then narrowed his eyes in annoyance.
'So she had more of those orbs to protect herself huh?' He thought dismissively. '...No matter it will not change the outcome of this fight'
Patros then began to channel another Burst Forth from his right arm. But before he could launch the attack. Yuzu then activated another orb colored that was colored a dark crimson, which engulfed her entire body. Then with a wave of her rod, she conjured several holy arrows within the air and then launched them at the Espada.
The Arrancar then huffed in contempt as he raised his left arm to block the arrows...only to be shocked when he saw that they pierce right through his Hierro.
'What!?' he gasped. 'Did she somehow increases her strength?!' he wondered while looking down at the arrows and then began to study them. 'No...it's not the fact the arrows are stronger it's as if-'
But before Patros could ponder further Yuzu then began to launch more of her arrows at him and in frustration, the tenth Espada began to use sondio to evade them before launching another Burst Forth from his left arm.
Yet Yuzu instead of just tanking the blast like before decided to ram right through the blast. Much to Patro's bafflement, the girl used a combination of her blunt vein and her barrier to strike through the spiritual attack. Before slamming her rod into Espada's midsection and as went flying high into the air, the Quincy then launched several more holy arrows at her foe and all of them puncturing his body, which caused the Arrancar to cough up blood from the severe injuries.
'Damn you...' Patros cursed as he stared hatefully at Yuzu. 'Do not think that your petty little tricks save you-?!' He then stop himself when he realized that his opponent wasn't paying attention to him. But rather was conjuring something above her rod.
A green orb.
Then before he does anything else Yuzu launched it at Patros and as it made contact with him. The sphere completely paralyzed Espada and caused him to crash into the streets below.
Wha-what why can't I..' Patros stammered to himself while Yuzu flew herself down and walked up to him.
'The power of my schrift the Elixir allows me to create medicines our of reishi to enchant and protect those that I deem my allies...but they can also be used to restrain or harm my enemies' Yuzu explained while conjuring up another orb which then turns crimson and then looked at it for a moment and then to Patros. 'As you just now realize'
Patros then eyes widen in dreaded realization. 'Of Course...' He lamented. 'I found it strange that her arrows lack the spiritual pressure needed to piece through my Hierro...now I know why...' he thought as he bore witness to Yuzu engulfing herself with her orb which seems to glow brighter than usual. 'She was planning to use this technique when I went into my second releases...'
The young Quincy then readied her holy arrow now aimed at Patros head.
'With this latest medicine, I have created. I now can ignore a hundred percent of your defenses' Yuzu said with sadness yet determination in her voice 'And with that, It is over'
She then fired the killing shot at her enemies head.
