Hailmar leads the Ninja, Maggie, Dragon and Hayden along the hallway and up a set of stairs until they reach a set of doors before he opens them.

Behind the doors laid a big throne room with a white skinned man, in a blue and white kimono with gold highlights, sitting on a throne that was on a column, high above from the ground, and many guards around. "It is with great honour, King Vangelis, that I present the famed Ninja of Ninjago." Hailmar said, holding his hand out to them.

"Welcome, welcome!" Vangelis said, holding his arms out wide before standing up. "I'm most pleased that you were able to accept our invitation." He then bows to them. "It is an honour."

"The honour is ours." Dragon replied as he, the Ninja, Maggie and Hayden bow back to him. "Shintaro is beyond anything we imagined."

"I am only a mere figurehead. The citizens our proud city are the heart of Shintaro." He then looked at Maggie. "Say, how come the Tan Ninja isn't wearing a suit?"

"Maggie has retired due to an unfortunate injury, but has still decided to come with us." Geoff said.

Vangelis then turned to Hayden. "And may I ask who this one is? I don't think I have ever heard of him."

"I am Officer Hayden Salvos of the Ninjago City Police Department." He said. "At your service, Your Majesty."

"Oh, they're here!" A woman's voice was heard as they all turn right to see a young woman with gold hair done up in a bun, wearing a white and blue yukata, flying over to them with two guards behind her before she lands and the guards remove her wings.

"Please, meet my heart, Her Royal Princess Vania." Vangelis said, holding his hand out to her.

She then came over to them, a little excited. "I am such a fan! I've read all about your adventures. It was my idea to invite you to my birthday." She looks at Cole, who was flabbergasted before smiling at her.

Lloyd and Gewuji stare at Vania suspiciously while the others smile. "It's an honour to be here, Princess." Cole said, blushing a little.

"So, is it true you've been to Hiroshi's Labyrinth?"

"Affirmative." Zane said. (A/N: I am aware that in the TV series that only Lloyd and Garmadon went, but in my original story, Rise of Yether, all the Ninja went there)

"Stopped the Yether Age clan?"

"With all our might." Geoff said.

"Competed in the Tournament of Elements?"

"Oh, do we have stories for you." Kai said.

Vania soon gasped in excitement. "I need to hear them all."

"Where shall we begin?" Cole asked, coming up a little closer, holding his hand out to her.

Before Vania could accept it, Hailmar lands between them and glared at Cole before Vangelis came up next to him, chuckling. "You can begin by following me." He replied, taking Cole's still extended hand before guiding him to the doors as the others follow him, and Vania does so as well. "Tomorrow will be a very busy day for all of us."

"Cole, the Earth Elemental." Vania said, coming up next to him. "What is it like to command the very earth? It is as fun as it sounds?"

"Yeah, pretty much."

Jay lightly scoffs out of curiosity. "Weird." He said.

"I agree." Geoff replied. "The princess seems to like Cole."

"I mean, he's my best friend and all, but... Cole?"

"Yeah." Lloyd said, still suspicious. "Weird."

"Weird indeed." Gewuji replied, passing by.

"Guys, don't be ridiculous." Blake said, coming between them and placing a hand on their opposing shoulders. "I think she has a soft spot for him."

"A suspicious one."

"Sis, you're being ridiculous." Geoff said, turning to her.

Later that night, the Ninja were each offered a room to sleep in, with Jay and Nya, Geoff and Maggie, and Gewuji and Hayden doubling up.

In their shared room, Hayden stretches himself, takes off his shoes and jumps onto the canopy bed before sighing happily as Gewuji simply sits down, takes off her shoulder pad, chain lanyard and boots, and lies down next to him, a little distracted. "Ooh, boy, what a day." He takes his jacket off and throws it onto a nearby coat hanger, showing a shoulder holster with a Chiappa Rhino 40DS in it. "You know, between the trip over and those Dire Bats, I'm completely exhausted." He takes the holster off to put with his jacket. "Don't you agree, Gewuji?" He started to undo his pants when he turned to Gewuji, who simply looked up at the bed's beams. "Hey, Gewuji, you okay?" She doesn't turn to him. "Crystal?" He clicks his fingers in front of her. "Ninjago to Gewuji."

She soon realises and turned to him. "Oh, sorry." She replied, turning to him.

"What's wrong?"

"Nothing." She tries to lie.

"Be honest."

Gewuji soon sighed. "Mantis, what do you think about the princess?"

"Why?"

"I mean, her instantly becoming infatuated with Cole."

"I don't think that's what happened."

"Well, believe what you must." She sarcastically spoke.

"Why do you care anyway?"

"I just don't want him ending up with a broken heart, like Lloyd did, back when we dated. Harumi, the Jade Princess, was the reason we first broke up, and then she broke his heart when he found out he was used for her deception."

"You told me that a bunch of times, already."

"I know, it's just-"

"Gewuji, you gotta let it go."

"Why?"

"Because..." He forces her on top of him, making her squeal in surprise. "Cole is not your boyfriend. I am. And, just let it go."

Gewuji soon giggles. "Okay then." She moves down to start pressing her lips onto his while undoing his pants, pulls them down and he lifts his legs between hers for them to come off while he started to undo the top part of her gi.

In his bedroom, Cole takes off his shoulder pad and hangs it over a hook by his canopy bed before stretching his arms, groans out of tiredness and sighed out of relief as he lowered his arms. He soon sat down on the bed, taking his boots off and shifts to lay his back on the pillow, taking in the smell of the bed before shrieking when he notices something. "Hello, Cole." It was Blake. He currently didn't have his prosthetic arm, shoulder pad and boots.

"Blake?" He asked. "How the hell did you sneak in here?"

"We're ninja, remember?" Lloyd asked as he came up from behind Blake.

"You too?"

"He practically dragged me out of bed." Blake said. "Thinks we should warn you about the princess."

"We are." Lloyd replied, annoyed. "Look, I think she's lying, Cole, and I think she's up to something. I can tell. They're all the same."

"All princesses?" Cole asked, a little suspicious. "That seems a little bit 'judgy'." He air quotes a little. "Wait a second. Is this because of Harumi?"

"No, not at all!"

"Because that's literally one example of that. Besides, I don't even like Vania like that. We just met." He slides down the bed to rest his head on the pillow. "Calm down, Lloyd."

Lloyd scoffs and walks away as Blake follows him. "I told you this was a bad idea." He whispered to Lloyd as they leave.

Cole soon exhaled a little before he starts to toss and turn until he laid on his right side. A few minutes in, something slowly creeps into the room, panting heavily as it approached Cole and climbs onto the bed before he smells its panting and wakes up. "Okay, guys, look..." He was soon face to face with a purple creature in brown rags.

They both soon scream and jump back as Cole picks up his pillow to defend himself with. The creature gets up and points at Cole. "You're not Gilly!" It yelled before jumping off the bed.

It tries to run away when Cole jumps on top of it, and something falls from around its neck and opens, surprising him. He picks it up to look at it. It was a locket with a picture of his parents in it. He then looked at the creature as it laid unconscious before looking back at the photos in the locket. "What?" Pretty soon, the creature wakes up and kicks him in his chest, sending him flying onto the side of his bed, and sending the locket into the air. Cole and the creature see it before it started to fall they ran for it, only for the creature to be faster and somersaults over Cole to grab it. As soon as it did, Cole grabs hold of its left arm and grapples him. "Where did you get that necklace?" The creature hisses before moving its hand to Cole's arm and scratches him, causing him to hiss in pain and let go of it to look at his arm. "Son of a bitch!" He looked back at the creature to see it vault over the bed. "Hey, get back here!" He comes around the corner of the bed, only to see it gone. "Huh? What the hell?"

The doors soon burst open and two guards come in, holding naginatas. "Sir, is everything all right?" One of them asked as Cole looked around.

"There must be a... a secret passage or trapdoor somewhere. That's how he got in!"

The guards become confused. "Uh... 'He', sir?"

"There was a... a little purple creature in my room. He attacked me in bed!" The guards suspiciously look at him as Cole looks at the slowly bleeding scratches on his arm.

(A/N: I added that Gleck should've scratched Cole trying to retrieve the necklace)

In another bedroom, provided to Dragon, he placed his cape on a nearby desk before sitting down on the bed and turns to lie down on it while lowering his hat to cover his face, about to go to sleep, until the door opens, scaring him and he falls out. It was Cole by the door. He had his boots and shoulder pad back on as well as a bandage around the scratches on his arm. "Emergency Ninja meeting! 47th Floor Lobby!"

"Cole..." Dragon said, annoyed at the intrusion.

"Oh, boy. I... I'm sorry, Master Wu, but we have to wake the others." He takes off as Dragon gets up, sighing before he leaves the room.
