3-In-1 Instant Quirks (My Hero Academia, Villain SI)
I shot my hand out in panic as I awoke to darkness.
"Gahk! Haaa…!"
Darkness and a lack of air!
Where am I? Who put me here! How do I get out?!
My struggling proved effective when I managed to get myself out of the shallow layer of dirt I was apparently buried in.
"Haa… haaa…! I'm alive!" I yelled out victoriously with both my hands raised high up in relief.
If I had some time to myself in a safe place I would have probably spent it on mocking that motherfucker who stabbed me and couldn't be bothered to kill me properly. Seriously? At least make sure I'm dead before burying me alive.
Wait a second… I got stabbed! Where's the pain?
I looked down and found that my dirtied clothes lacked any bloodstains. Furthermore, my little bit of fat borne out of laziness has transformed into a small amount of muscle!
Hoo boy. I knew where this was going.
"Fuck. I actually died. And now I'm Isekai'ed. Oh! That rhymes! Gah, stop it Peter. Focus…!"
I slapped my cheeks a few times and managed to regain enough of my composure to assess the situation. From what I can see in front of me, it turns out that I'm in a spooky forest. My clothes are a little different, resized to fit my tighter frame and… oh, I seem to be a bit shorter too. Knowing the tropes in these kinds of stories I'm just going to assume that I've been de-aged.
Turning to my left, I noted the pile of corpses just next to my burial spot and then looked in the other directio- wait, shut the front door!
"...Okay. Cool, I'm alive and you guys are still dead. Okay, okay, I can deal with this."
Now that I noticed it, this place really, really stinks. I don't know why I'm not vomiting at the sight and smell of the corpse pile but I'm just going to count it as an Isekai perk.
The bodies dumped here appeared to have been placed at different times judging by their varying states of decomposition. Most of them seem to have their clothes on them, perhaps I could find some valuables or currency on them? If anything it'll help me determine what country this is.
Looting was a core component of the Isekai Protagonist Curriculum.
I'll start by taking everything that I can use from this guy sticking out at the bottom of the pile since it's the most accessible.
It would be easier to check his pockets and take his stuff if I just flip him around-

A rush of images, sensations, concepts, emotions flowed into me the moment I touched the skin of the corpse!
"Woah! Ha...hahahaha!"
It was like learning something new, gaining a new limb, something! It meant something! I felt as if power had entered me and I wanted more of it.
But yet, what did it mean? Was this just a form of Psychometry? No, if it were, then it would have involved the circumstances of the person's death or at least something akin to memories rather than making me feel more alive than I have ever been!
I reached for the next corpse.

There it was. A marble, a recollection of the power and information, fell into a space within my head that I had never accessed before. Cracked, damaged, decayed.
Unacceptable. Unsightly. Incomplete.
One more and I could fix this deplorable sight!
I grabbed another body and felt nothing. It didn't have that light, that marble of power that I needed! Worthless! Useless! Waste of space!
Deep breaths. There are a lot of bodies here. No need to rush, no need to get mad… I felt my usual calm asserting itself and moved on to the next body in the pile.

Another damaged marble entered me. The light in its centre was dimmed as if a tiny dying candle was inside it.
I followed my instincts and willed the three marbles to come together and become one.
The three damaged marbles within my mental landscape spun and collided with each other, in the centre of the collision was another marble, its light slightly brighter than before, but it was undamaged and had a white sheen to it that made it mine!
I pointed my finger down at the mountain of bodies.
A sharp sound pierced through the silence of the forest.
There was a weight on my finger, the weight of dead flesh atop of my extended finger that pierced through those corpses in an instant!
I felt more power flow into me as I came into contact with multiple bodies at once.
With but a thought my finger retracts back to its normal length, I stared at my empowered limb like it was my birthday present.
I had powers. This was my power. I can make new powers out of someone else's powers!
Hmm, obviously, I must be in a Marvel Universe mutant body dump site or something. Why else would so many powered individuals be killed, gathered and left in such a place to rot?
Well, it's as good as any reason to make grave desecration a productive hobby!
I made sure to touch every single dead body there to take their special juices.
The dozen bodies at the top of the pile were the only ones to not give me the impression of a 'partial retrieval', rather, it felt complete yet still unusable to me. It appears that I need to fuse these powers together to make a new one in order for it to be used, regardless of whether a power was damaged or undamaged according to my senses.
Before I got too caught up with testing my new powers I decided to loot the bodies.
To my dismay, I found some really weird looking notes in Korean. Goddamnit, I blame my parents and their K-drama addiction! It must have been their immense consumption of Korean media that influenced my reincarnation start point!
I don't even like Korean food! How the hell am I supposed to survive in this country? Eat their spicy chicken ramen for all my meals?!
Having spotted signs of civilization (a vague outline of a tall building), I began walking in that direction after looting anything of value (e.g. watches, broken phones, etc…) and placing them in a hand-made sack (a really big coat).
I began making new powers with the few power fragments I had while carrying my sack of items. My power only allowed me to fuse new powers by sacrificing three power fragments regardless of the quality. Three, no more, no less.
It was kinda fun mixing the unknown damaged fragments together to make new powers. I had to make guesses as to their nature and whether they would mix well with one another, but so far, I seem to be a natural at it and gotten quite a few good ones.
[Sky Legs] was made out of a kicking power, an air resistance reduction power and something that felt like a strength boosting power. I could easily jump over the tall trees in the forest and descend as if I had a gliding skill upgrade! Not that I did it more than twice, as fun as it was, hitting several thick tree branches was not very enjoyable at all!
[Taser Hands] generated electrical power from my body and directed it to my hands. It involved an electrical redirection power, a power that turned one's hands into metal and what seemed to be a power that generated sparks from one's eyes. The lucky combination of a situational, decent and cosmetic power ended up being pretty darn good!
It had a lot of compatibility with my [Finger Spear] power seeing as I could use multiple powers at the same time.
And those were just the ones made from my damaged power fragments.
The undamaged ones had a slightly brighter 'light' within them, which from my experiments, turned out to be a rough indication of the power's potency. And when crafted with power fragments of roughly equal potency they could form more powerful and complex abilities.
The first of which began with a power that allowed me to breathe in a large amount of air and expel it violently, immediately making me think "Fus Roh Dah". Unfortunately, I couldn't use it like that without combining it with something else so I settled for a different shout.
All I did was combine with a fireball throwing power and a generic 'increased body capacity' power in order to create [YOL, TOOR, SHUL] (Fire Breath).
The tree that defied me had learnt the wrath of the dragon! (Thankfully it seemed to have rained recently and the fire didn't spread. Whew!)
On a side note, that particular power also enhances my body slightly and increases that boost based on how much air I am keeping in my lungs. In other words, it's kinda like the Demon Slayer's Breathing Styles.
Mmm, I guess a better name for that power would be [Flame Breathing]. Uh, fine, I dislike renaming things but I'll make an exception since it's more indicative.
I did some other experiments involving mixing damaged and undamaged power fragments as well. From them, I could tell there was definitely an element of luck in the act of creation more powers.
Mixing two decent power fragments with one damaged power fragment left me with a power of 'average' potency. On the other hand, crafting one out of two damaged power fragments and one undamaged power fragment created a much more potent power.
If I classified the broken power fragments as an E Rank power fragment, with undamaged ones hovering around the D to C range in potency, then my current results would look something like:
3*E Ranks = D Rank Power
3*D Ranks = C Rank Power
2*E+1*D Ranks = Chance of E (Probably) / D (Unlikely) / C (Rare) Rank Power
1*E + 2*D Ranks = Chance of E (Unlikely) / D (Probably) / C (Decent Chance) Rank Power
Or something along those lines based on my current experiences.
If anything, the process kind of reminded me of GrandChase: Dimension Chaser's fusion system, where an optimal method of gaining an in-game resource was to risk fusing two units of different ranks in order to create a higher ranked unit, as fusing two units of the same high ranks to guarantee the higher ranked unit as a result was less efficient (cost wise).
Should I sacrifice all my good powers right now I could probably get a really strong power, on the other hand, it may potentially end up too complex or unusable due to the lack of synergies.
My gut feeling was telling me that there would definitely be stronger powers out there.
Especially from live enemies.
If this was one of those Marvel-like universes then my only chance of continued survival and freedom would be to kill mooks, get new skills and level up until I become god.
Could I really do that though? I mean, taking it from dead people that had no need for it is one thing but… oooooh! What's that? A severed head? Time to check it out!
I ran towards the head missing its body as if I found a shiny Pokemon.
Hmm, what's this feeling I'm getting from it, my power seems to be able to reach it so... let me try something new…
Tug on that feeling for a bit and-
-Ooh! I got it!
I can take powers at range!
Knowing how 'balancing' works it will probably be more difficult on live opponents (due to 'resistance' and all that bullshit) and I will have to touch them directly to take their powers efficiently. Perhaps there is a way to cheese the process somehow?
Mmm, I'll have to figure all that out with some experimentation I guess.
"Oh cool! I reached the town aaaaand it's gone…"
What the actual fuck happened!? It looked like a huge gang war or an army had fought in it! It looked absolutely deserted!
This was horrible! Terrible! How am I supposed to steal some powers if there are no people to steal from!?
My stomach decided to inform me that I had more pertinent concerns to deal with at this point.
Right, get some lunch first. Become a power stealing serial killer later.
30 minutes later…
"Seriously? Did they take everything nailed down or what? Wait…"
I sniffed and blanched at the scent I discovered.
No, no way… motherfucker…
Kimchi. My arch-nemesis. Aaaaaaaaaah!
"Okay, you can do this Peter… it's just Kimchi against… starvation."
Hardest decision of my life.
I followed the disgusting smell and found five guys dressed like insurgents hanging around a big bowl filled with my old enemy. Two of them didn't look very human, one of them had a minor mutation white the other two looked normal.
Also, they had guns. Joy.
I'm pretty sure my [Projectile Deflecting Skin] power could protect me from bullets but I wasn't so sure about their potential superpowers.
They noticed me before I could get into a better position to murder them discreetly so I decided to cut my losses and greet them with a friendly face before killing them.
"Hey guys, I kinda got lost in the forest and was wondering if you would accept my legal tender for some of that… kimchi, stuff."
"The fuck did you come from?!" "Hands in the air!" "You don't look like the right sort of recruit for Sect…"
Huh? I can understand Korean now. And I can apparently switch languages automatically. I'll just chalk it up to a perk I guess.
After dropping my sack of valuables, I raised my arms disarmingly while still holding up some notes in my hands. I kept on talking while discreetly aiming my other hand's fingers at each of their bodies.
"Teleportation accident, hands already up and uh… what are you guys recruiting for again? Sect? Seriously? Is that the name of your sausage fest?"
The moment their eyes were clouded with rage and confusion, I activated [Finger Spear] and [Taser Hands], striking all of them in an instant.
Without even pausing to relish their screams I swung my hands a couple of times and clawed their bodies into bits. Holy shit! That was easy as fuck!
Hmm? This feeling? I followed my instincts and pulled through the blood on my extended fingers. Suddenly, what's left of their dying bodies began to writhe in pain, and I felt their powers enter into my being!
Hell yeah motherfucker! I can take their powers at range if I get into contact with some of their fluids! That's an OP combo with my finger spear power, it's basically the bane of unarmored powered folk with its strong penetrative power and ability to soften up organic material synergizing with my power stealing capabilities.
If I'm stuck in a game world, for the love of all that is holy, I plead with you mighty GM's to not nerf me as Maple was nerfed!
Now… where was I?
I stared at the dead lifeless bodies… then noticed something sticking out of one of their pockets.
It's one of those below average processed sausages snacks in a packet. Uh… well, I'll take this over Kimchi anyday. Guess this is my lunch then.
I was half-way into my sausage when I saw an army rolling into the deserted town.
Oh boy…
I looked down at my bloodied boots…stained by the Kimchi plate I toppled over.
These guys are going to kick my ass for disrespecting one of their cultural dishes.
I was just being an innocent, ignorant foreigner! Please forgive me!
Just then, explosions began to erupt from the ground, hundreds of people that were dressed like the 'Sect' guys crawled out from the sewers as if they were born and molded by it. Looking into the distance, I could see armored soldiers dropping out of helicopters and landing with the use of various powers.
Well shit, I just ran into a battleground between the government backed army and a bunch of terrorists, haven't I? All of them with superpowers, most likely trained for combat… while I'm here with a couple of powers that were used only once or twice.
Time to use my special move Nigerundayo!
Some time later…
"I… fucking... Hate this country."
It was a horrifyingly delicious carnival of chaos and blood as I fought my way out of the city while killing everyone in my way!
The only reason I hadn't died was because I resorted to cannibalism via my [Adventurous Eater] power, that allowed me to eat and convert nearly anything to stamina. If I didn't come up with that combo in the brief respite I earned then I would have ran out of energy to fuel all the new powers I was making along the way.
It was like running a marathon while in a zombie apocalypse.
I do not recommend this as an acceptable exercise routine.
"Okay, back to the forest, I'm home free."
"Surrend-"
A quick swipe of my [Blade Whip Arms], an upgraded version of my old [Finger Spear] power, dealt with a dozen or so powered folk and netted me their powers which I immediately put to use when it gave me the pieces for my new Shapeshifting power.
I grabbed one guy's head and munched on it, gaining enough energy to use my new Super Speed power to get me the hell out of here!
After running for what felt like half an hour without stopping, I realized that I had gotten lost and had no idea where the fuck I was!
Also, I was hungry… again. Hmm? Is that… civilization?
It looked like a proper city to me. Filled with people, and you know… not with insurgents/terrorists and about to become a battleground.
I munched on a couple of plants to gain a bit of energy back then transformed myself using the Shapeshifter power, temporarily getting rid of my bloodied clothes for some clothes that looked casual (but were really made out of my flesh).
After that, I found the closest Mcdonalds and got myself a proper meal.
Then I looked for the shadiest looking alleyway and waited for someone to mug me.
As if fate decided to shine on me, the world answered my request for a mugger and sent one to me.
"Hey you, turn around and hand me all you've got- aghk!"
I easily held him by the neck with one hand and stole his power through direct, non-violent contact.
"A mix of intimidation and fear inducement? That's a nice power for a mugger extra to have."
"W-wha… no! Please! Give it back!"
"Hmm?"
His face was in tears. Now that I wasn't very hungry and hyper-focused on surviving there was little stopping me from processing the fear, anguish and despair in the man's expression.
Did I do this? Have I just ruined this man's life? Did he really deserve this?
He didn't have any weapons on him and was probably planning to rob me through inducing fear rather than with violent means.
Compared to the life-and-death situation I was in a couple of hours ago, having someone at my mercy is an entirely different matter, right now… I held power over him.
Nearly all men can stand adversity, but if you want to test a man's character, give him power.
I had thought reading and writing countless of SI stories would have taught me to be mentally prepared to face such a challenge. The challenge to do the right thing. It was… more difficult than I expected.
"Give it back! My Quirk-! Please-"
"A-alright. I'm going to give your uh… Quirk, back to you right now. I decided to forgive you and you're going to forget all about this okay?"
"Y-yes! Thank you!"
It was as easy as picking the right power fragment and reversing the 'pulling' sensation I was familiar with.
The man felt relieved and at peace with having an important part of his life back with him.
At that very moment I ripped his head off his body.
Once the life drained out of his eyes I quickly took his 'Quirk' back and was happy to confirm that taking powers from someone that just died was unlikely to damage their powers.
Now then, time to chow down on this body and… wait, did that guy say 'Quirk' back then?
Using a weak Psychometry power on his phone, I easily got pass his lock screen and gained access to the internet! Let's try searching for a few things and…
All Might is here.
Guess that explains the significant amount of humans with mutations walking around as if everything was normal.
I'll have to research a lot more news in order to determine where exactly I'm in the timeline, but from the looks of it, I'm definitely in All Might's and All For One's Prime era.
In other words, I have to stay out of Japan or I'll end up smashed until my body is nothing more than supermarket sold minced pork.
Guess I'll just have to hang around in Korea or other parts of Asia until All Might and All For One beats each other to near death. After that, I'll probably head over and enjoy the low crime rates, try to use some mental Quirks on some of the best girls and loot some of that crazy doctor's stuff so that I can increase my powers further.
Oh yeah, and snag Aizawa's Quirk too, because that Quirk is OP as fuck.
If he can cancel all of Shigaraki's Quirks derived from All For One then he can damn well depower me and there's no way I'll let myself be beaten like that!
After a few minutes of munching while surfing the web I ended up happening across some local news regarding an armed conflict within the country's borders.
"Anti-Reunification terrorist group Sect leaders has been detained-"
"Raid on Sect's headquarters by ROK Armed Forces interrupted by new independent villain called 'The Demon'"
"The government has yet to discover any footage of 'The Demon'-"
… Am I a Villain now?
Hmm, as evident from the fact that I kinda, accidentally, butchered hundreds in my quest for survival and more power… yeah, I basically failed every character test that matters after I've been given power.
Well shit. I really am a Villain now.
I now realize the worst part of being a Villain in a Shounen Manga series…
… Outside of giving dramatic monologues and dishing out violence I have no experience in being a Villain! I'm not qualified damnit! How am I supposed to learn how to do the boring but necessary villain stuff like accessing the darknet, finding a shady informant, getting a hideout and finding minions? As if the manga ever shows those parts outside of a montage!
Where's my Villain Academia when I need it?!
