Chapter 1
It had been a long year since Madara and Kaguya had been defeated by Naruto with the help of Kurotsuchi and Sasuke's half of hagaromo's powers that were given to him when he died, but when everything was said and done, they were the only survivors from the war against them and the Akatsuki after 2 years of fighting. They had lost so much because of them, with the ones that hurt the most were Naruto's fiance's Mei Terumi, Temari, Anko Miterashi, Yugao Uzuki, and Samui
Ever since the war ended, they had been traveling the world and decided to collect everything they could find that was important to keep so nothing would happen to them and learn from. Naruto had been training with the Biju to learn more about their abilities and getting to know the other 8 after he sealed them into himself per their request. Kurotsuchi had delved deeper into her training along with mourning the loss of everyone she cared about. They were now standing in the center of a strange array of seals that Naruto had just finished drawing. The reason for the seal was to send them to a world that Naruto went to when he was twelve years old and spent there for a year before returning to deal with the Akatsuki. It was time to come back and he was stronger than ever along with his fiance too.
"Are you sure that this seal will take us to Remnant?" Kurotsuchi asked, nervous as she looked down at the seal.
"Positive. I spent so much time on it, I'm confident that it'll work. Trust me dear." Naruto said as he squeezed her hand in reassurance. "Do you have everything because we aren't coming back?" The blonde Jinchuriki asked.
She nodded in affirmative. "Yes, let's go. I'm quite curious to see what it's like. Do you know where we'll be appearing?" Kuro asked.
"We'll be appearing in an academy called Beacon. There are two professors that'll help us get situated since we don't exist there and they know me already so it won't be too random. We'll be fine." Naruto assured her.
"I can also see about getting girls for your harem and who would qualify." Kuro said with a grin on her face, making him sigh and palm his forehead at her.
"Damn it. Just…. Just don't be scaring people away." Naruto said with a sigh as her grin grew. "Let's just go." Naruto said as he had a bag over his shoulder with Kurotsuchi nodding as he slammed his hand down and pushed Chakra into it as it glowed before a portal opened up with them seeing it open and walking into it without looking back, leaving behind their home for a new one.
Beacon Academy
The portal opened and they stepped out to see they appeared in the front of the school and there seemed to be nobody around them which made things easier since they wouldn't have to explain what the portal was.
"Well, let's get going. We need to meet with Professor Ozpin." Naruto said as she nodded and they made their way inside when they saw a young fifteen year old girl who was wearing black corset that showed her High B-cup chest with a black skirt and a red cloak and had black hair with red in her tips who was on her knees and looked upset about something.
"You okay?" Kuro asked, getting the girl's attention. Now that Naruto got a good look at her, she looked familiar.
"I-I'm fine. Just having a great first day at Beacon Academy." The girl said with a sigh as she was helped up.
"Beacon's starting? I wasn't aware of that. We were just coming to meet with Professor Ozpin. Interesting. We all have those days anyway, so I wouldn't worry about it too much. What's your name Red?" Naruto asked.
"Ruby. Ruby Rose. I'm here with my sister Yang, but she left me here alone." Ruby whined, clearly upset about being ditched earlier. "What are your names?" She asked them, not seeing Naruto's eyes widen slightly in shock.
This got his attention when he heard her name and he knew exactly who this was, except she clearly wasn't the same little kid the last time he saw her.
"I'm Kurotsuchi. That's a beautiful name you have there Ruby and I have to say that based on my fiance's reaction to your name, I think he knows you." Kuro said with a knowing smirk having been told about his visit last time, so he knew who this was and who Yang were, making her look at him questioningly confused by what she meant.
"Naruto Uzumaki. It's good to see you again…. My Little Cookie Monster." He teased her, making her pout before gasping as she started shaking and pointed at him when in a burst of speed and rose petals, he found himself being tightly hugged by her who returned it as she silently sobbed into his chest.
"Ruto, is that you?! You came back!" Ruby cried into his chest as she held the blonde Uzumaki.
"It's me Ruby and I have to say you've grown so much and into a beautiful young woman. It's okay, I'm here now." Naruto cooed, making her smile, but he couldn't see the blush on her face from being called beautiful.
"It's so good to see you again Ruto. I missed you so much and when you left, I was really sad and hurt. I'm so glad that you're here now! Yang will be so happy to see you!" Ruby said as she continued to hug him when she remembered what Kurotsuchi said and looked back at him. "FIANCE?! WHEN DID THAT HAPPEN?! HOW'D IT HAPPEN?!"She shouted in surprise and a little sad at the news, something that Kuro noticed and inwardly smirked, wondering if the girl had a crush on him, something that Naruto missed.
He winced from the shout, but he wasn't surprised at her reaction, after all it's not often something like that happens often at their age.
"We should get going or else we'll be late, we can catch up on the way and you can tell me how you got into Beacon so early since you look to be 15 or 16.." Naruto said as she nodded vigorously as Kuro latched onto his arm with Ruby on the other as she fired question after question and wanted to know everything in what he's been up too and what he's learned and if he learned to use any new weapons, but all he said was that she would have to wait and see which got a pout from her, but she smiled nonetheless. She also got to know Kurotsuchi a bit, wanting to know how they met and how long they had been together for and what they've been up to.
Kurotsuchi came to like the girl, she was energetic like how Naruto was and she had found her to be quite cute. She loves weapons and was told all about her weapon which was named Crescent Rose which has different forms. She also saw how uncomfortable she was with meeting new people and that she was a little shy about meeting her, but with Naruto there, he made it easier to open up more. .
Not realizing that they had been talking so much, that they had arrived at their destination.
"It was nice catching up with you, Naruto and meeting you Kurotsuchi. I wonder where Yang is?" Ruby asked, looking around when she heard the familiar voice.
"Ruby over here! " Yang called out, waving at her sister "I saved you a seat!" She said, before she saw that she was talking to two people she didn't really recognize, especially the woman, but the guy looked somewhat familiar and was really cute.
Yang had fair-skin with lilac eyes and had bright-gold-blonde hair that flowed down her back in a loose and messy manner with a few locks sticking out along with an ahoge. She wore a tan jacket that showed her midriff, her athletic figure, and D-cup breasts, with golden brown piping and short, puffy sleeves with black cuffs. Underneath is a yellow crop top that seems to be low-cut with black short shorts with a brown belt, an orange scarf around her neck, and lastly she had brown knee-high boots and oranger over-the-knee socks..
"Oh look there's Yang, let's go!" Ruby said in excitement, grabbing his hand and dragging him to her with Naruto rolling his eyes in amusement and his fiance was smirking and giggling.
"How's your first day going, little sister?" Yang asked, happily.
"You mean since you ditched me and I exploded?!" Ruby accused, pointing at her sister.
"Yikes. Meltdown already?" Yang grimaced.
"No, I literally exploded a hole in front of the school! And there was some fire, and I think some ice…?" Ruby said, placing her hand on her chin in thought.
"You're being sarcastic right?" Yang asked, but got a scoff in response.
"I wish!" She exclaimed. "I tripped over some crabby girl's luggage! And then she yelled at me while shaking that fire dust in my face! And then, I sneezed and exploded. And then she yelled again. And i felt really, really bad and I just want her to stop yelling at me. She left and that's when these two showed up." Ruby finished her rant, before pointing at Naruto and Kurotsuchi who were looking amused at the rant.
"So what's your name cutie?" Yang asked with a grin, one that his fiance returned with Naruto sighing at her antics.
"Naruto Uzumaki." Naruto said, when he immediately had his face brought into her large chest.
"Foxy's back! Oh I'm so glad that you're here, but when did you?" Yang asked him.
"We got here earlier today, maybe half an hour ago." Naruto answered though, it was muffled.
"We?" Yang asked and saw him point at Kurotsuchi who waved at her with a grin on her face.
"Hello. I'm Kurotsuchi. It's nice to meet you, Naruto's told me all about you guys and I can't wait to get to know you myself." Kurotsuchi said as she stuck her hand out.
Yang stuck her hand out as they shook hands and she could tell from her grip alone that she would be strong. Hmm, maybe she could spar with her sometime when their initiation test is over.
"You!" They heard someone say and turned to see it was a beautiful young woman who had white hair and blue eyes. She had B-cup breasts, nice hips, and pale skin. This was Weiss Schnee, the heiress to the Schnee company.
Ruby jumped into her sister's arms with a look of horror on her face. "Oh god it's happening again!
"Damn sis." The buxom blonde muttered, looking wide eyed at the glaring heiress.
"You were lucky we weren't blown off the cliff!" Weiss yelled at the apologetic teen who looked sorry.
"I said I was sorry." Ruby muttered with a sad look.
Don't you think you're being a tad bit too harsh on her?" Naruto asked the heiress who looked at Naruto with a glare that did nothing to him.
"She was lucky that we weren't hurt, if she hadn't sneezed…" Weiss tried to argue.
"The bottle wasn't even closed, so the dust vial was being waved in front of my nose didn't help either." Ruby countered.
Naruto got a good look at her and something clicked in his mind. "Wait, aren't you Weiss Schnee?" He asked.
"Yes I am. I'm not surprised you know me." Weiss said haughtily, making him and Kurotsuchi roll their eyes.
"Actually I don't know you personally, but I do know your sister. We used to hang out or train when we were teenagers." Naruto said, getting a shocked look from her and the others that didn't know.
"How do you know Winter?" Weiss asked, when she suddenly realized. "You're the whiskered blonde she'd tell me about, but you look my age? Shouldn't you be the same age as her?" Weiss asked in complete shock.
"We can talk about that later, right now could you two try to get along for the time being? What's done is done and it was an accident, so please move on." Naruto said, getting a wide smile from Ruby and a small grunt from Weiss who nodded slowly, not wanting to cause another scene as she was now curious about the guy that knew her sister. Ruby looked at her friends with concerns when she thought of something.
"You guys aren't listed as students here, what are you going to do about that?" Ruby whispered in worry, knowing that would make things difficult for the two of them.
"We'll have that taken care of soon. Sounds like they're about to start." Naruto said, when they all turned to see Ozpin getting on stage with Goodwitch standing next to him.
"I'll... keep this brief. You have traveled here today in search of knowledge, to hone your craft and acquire new skills, and when you have finished, you plan to dedicate your life to the protection of the people. But I look amongst you, and all I see is wasted energy, in need of purpose, direction. (as the students whisper among themselves) You assume knowledge will free you of this, but your time at this school will prove that knowledge can only carry you so far. It is up to you to take the first step. With that said you're still students. Let's make these school years fun, okay?" Ozpin finished and took one quick glance at the crowd and saw a familiar blonde spiky hair that made him smile and would need to speak with him later tonight..
As Ozpin left, Glynda stepped up. "You will gather in the Dance Hall/Ballroom tonight; tomorrow, your initiation begins. Be ready. You are dismissed." Glynda said, disappearing, as everyone started to leave the auditorium.
"Well this should be an interesting year." Naruto said, leaving with his fiance and the two sisters, not seeing a pair of amber eyes looking at him curiously.
Line Break
Everyone was in the Ballroom having gotten settled down for the night and having changed into their pj's. Naruto wore a white tank-top and black loose sweats. Normally he would just wear underwear with his shirt, but it was normally just him and his fiance in the room and not so open like he was. He wasn't the only one disappointed as Kuro was also upset about him having to wear more. She complained about it, but could also agree with her fiance since she didn't want every woman eying him like a piece of , she wanted to see some skin damn it!
Yang however was ogling him and didn't mind what he was wearing. She had an orange tank top and black shorts that showed off her thighs and legs. Ruby wore a black tank top that had a pink heart that also looked like some animals of sorts and black pajama bottoms with roses and she had an eye mask on her head.
Ruby, in her pajamas and with a sleeping mask around her head, is writing in a journal when Yang crashes next to her in her pajamas.
"It's like a big slumber party!" Yang said excitedly.
"I don't think Dad would approve of all the boys, though." Ruby said not looking up.
"I know I do!" Yang purred as she watched several muscular, shirtless guys…. But her attention was on Naruto and she liked what she saw and nudged her sister to get her attention. When she did, she pointed at Naruto and blushed at what she saw before throwing her pillow, hitting Yang in the face. Kurotsuchi was also ogling him too, but what she was confused about was how close they seemed to be. She'd have to ask about that and returned her attention to Ruby "What's that?"
"A letter to the gang back at Signal. I promised to tell them all about Beacon and how things are going." Ruby told Yang after getting her blush under control.
"Aw, that's so cuuuute!" Yang said before she is knocked back because a pillow is launched at her face by Ruby.
"Shut up! I didn't get to take my friends with me to school! It's weird not knowing anyone here!" Ruby said, somewhat annoyed.
"Awe, but you have me and Kuro here Ruby, I'm hurt you'd say something like that." Naruto said dramatically as he held a hand to his heart, making the girls giggle.
"Of course I have you Ruto, after all you're my friend and possibly my best friend." Ruby giggled, making him smile at her sincere words.
"Ahh my sister is so cuuute." Yang gushed as she hugged her sister, as she tried to get out of her grip, making them laugh.
He felt like someone was watching him and looked around until he found the person he was looking for, he did have someone watching him. She had raven black hair, amber eyes that kind of resembled a cat, with a black bow on her head. She wore a black yukata shirt that had a similar look for her skirt. Overall it suited her well and made her look beautiful and sexy. Curious?
She caught him staring at her and blushed at getting caught and went back to her book. He was about to go talk to her when the intercom went off.
"Could Mr. Uzumaki please come to Mr. Ozpin's office?" Goodwitch asked over the intercom, getting everyone's attention when Naruto got up along with Kurotsuchi nodding as they left, leaving a confused Ruby and Yang and many others wondering what was going on.
"Well let's go. I have a feeling I know what they want to discuss with us." Naruto said as he and Kuro left.
Ozpin's Office
"It's hard to believe he's back, but why does he look like he's only aged a few years if he's been gone for much longer? It's quite curious, don't you think so?" Glynda asked, getting a nod from the headmaster.
"You're not wrong, but I'm glad he's back all the same, but he seems to be different. His eyes aren't the same as if he's lost a lot and experienced much in his young life. The same can be said for the young girl he was with. I've never seen her before so I wonder if she is from his world too, things are certainly changing with them here." Ozpin said, when they heard a knock on the door, telling whoever it was to come in and they saw Naruto and Kurotsuchi walk in.
"It's good to see you two again. It's been awhile hasn't it?" Naruto asked when he turned to headmistress. "Glynda, you look as beautiful as ever." Naruto said, taking her hand and kissing it that made her blush at the action, but smiled a little to see that he thought so and was being polite.
"You too Naruto and please, don't make my fellow teacher blush or seem embarrassed. I'd like to be introduced to your friend here." Ozpin said, humor in his voice, Glynda's blush deepening before scowling and turning away with a huff.
"I'm Kurotsuchi, soon to be Uzumaki and like Naruto-kun, I'm a fellow Shinobi and would like to say it's a pleasure to meet you. He's told me all about you two as well as this academy." Kuro explained, getting nods from them.
"I see. It's nice to meet you Mrs. Uzumaki, is there anything we should know about you as we assume you want to attend the academy to become a Hunter and Huntress, yes?" Ozpin asked.
"Yes, well you'll have to find out in the initiation test tomorrow, but I do want to become a Huntress since with my skills, I'd be able to do a lot. Also, Naruto will need to restore his clan, so I'm going to help him get a harem." Kuro said, with a perverted grin that made Naruto sigh and the others didn't know how to respond to that, but Ozpin did chuckle.
"Why do you want Naruto to have a harem? I mean, it's not illegal, but it's not common for that to happen, so why?" Glynda asked, confused since normally the guy would want it, but to see his fiance wanting it surprised her.
"Well I can give a lot of reasons, but there are two main reasons for it. 1. He is the last of two clans that were prominent in the Elemental Nations and 2. I can't satisfy him alone as he has a ton of stamina and makes me hella sore." Kuro said with a shrug as she grinned at the shocked and blushing assistant and a chuckling headmaster.
"I'll never understand you wanting a harem, but knowing my mom she'd want me to have one, so she could have lots of grandkids to spoil." Naruto said with a sigh.
"Oh you know you deserve all the happiness after what you've been through, besides you did tell me you wanted a big family." Kuro countered, making him just accept it since he wasn't going to be winning this one.
"Ahem." Ozpin coughed, getting their attention. "What about you Naruto, any new skills you've learned in your time away? I'm quite curious about what you could've learned." Glynda said, but gave a small huff when he put his finger to his lips in a shushing manner, indicating he wouldn't be telling.
"You'll get to see some new stuff I learned and possibly some new weapons, but that's all I'm saying on it." Naruto said, getting nods from the two teachers.
"Well we just wanted to welcome you back and let you know that we'll have all the documents ready for when you finish the initiation test, since you two don't exist and only a few people are aware of your origins, we'll make sure you'll have everything you'll need. We have no doubt you'll pass it, so for now welcome back Naruto and welcome to Beacon Academy Kurotsuchi. We look forward to getting to know you more." Ozpin greeted with a smile, and she returned with them.
"Thank you sir. I look forward to learning here and seeing what I can learn here.." Kuro said as they got up to leave when Ozpin asked them to stop.
"Before I forget here, take these scrolls as you'll need them if you'll be here more permanently now." He said handing them each a scroll with them nodding leaving the two teachers to themselves.
Ballroom
The pair made their way back to the Ballroom and sweatdropped at what they were seeing once they got back with everyone else. Ruby and Yang were talking to the woman that was staring at him earlier, but also Weiss seemed to be yelling at Ruby again for some reason. Poor Ruby, she seems to be having a meltdown.
"We should probably go save her. Poor girl seems to not do well with Weiss yelling, but I don't blame her." Kuro said as they walked over to the group with the last thing they were hearing.
"She's a hazard to my health!" Weiss almost yelled.
"Okay, what's going on now?" Naruto asked, mused by the whole thing.
"Naruto/Ruto!" Yang and Ruby shouted as they both hugged him, making him laugh, patting their heads.
"I think she might be a little too old to be calling you Ruto dear, don't you think so?" Kuro giggled at the fifteen year old who pouted at the question. She's always called him Ruto since they met, but she wasn't a child anymore.
"She's got a point Rubes, you're getting too old to call him that." Yang teased with a grin.
"Yang!" Ruby whined before pouting, making everyone chuckle.
"You again?!" Weiss called out as she pointed at the duo.
"Yep, it's good to see you again Weiss, now what is going on here that has you yelling at Ruby and Yang?" Naruto asked with a raised brow.
"It's not me that should be getting talked to, it's them! They've been irritating and keeping everyone awake while others are trying to sleep." Weiss pointed at the two sisters who looked sheepish.
"This is entertaining." Kuro said with some mirth in her tone that. Weiss rounded on her with a glare that did nothing to the Kunoichi.
"And you are? How is them being loud entertaining?" Weiss asked, annoyed by the fiance.
"I'm Kurotsuchi Uzumaki and for why it's entertaining, it's simple, you let it get to you and when you get so heated by it, it's a little funny." Kuro said grinning the whole time that infuriated the heiress that much more, while Yang was laughing and Ruby was trying to be nice, but the shaking of her shoulders wasn't helping.
"Why don't we all get some rest? We do have an important test tomorrow, don't you think?" Naruto asked, not wanting to embarrass his friend's sister anymore, getting nods from everyone and a small grateful nod from the heiress, going their separate ways for the night.
Naruto turned to the other woman who had been staring at Naruto in curiosity and he was looking at her with intrigue since he could smell she wasn't human despite her looking like it, but he could smell something.
'Naruto, I think she might be a faunus as she smells like a cat. She must be hiding her ears behind the bow.'Kurama pointed out, making him agree with her statement.
'Got it Kurama, thanks.' Naruto thanked the Biju in their link as he decided to introduce himself to her as he walked up to her with a friendly smile on his face..
"Hi, I'm Naruto Uzumaki. Any reason you were staring at me earlier?" He grinned at her, making her blink owlishly at him before nodding with a small barely noticeable blush on her cheeks.
"Blake Belladonna. I'm sorry if I was staring earlier, you just intrigue me." Blake apologized with a curious expression.
'Interesting, wait I know two others with that name, they were Kali and Ghira Belladonna if I remember correctly. Oh I wonder how they're doing with the White Fang and if she has their last name, is she their daughter then? If so, I'll need to talk to her about it when we aren't so crowded.' Naruto thought as the room was filled with people and looked back at Blake.
"Not at all. It's natural to be curious, but what's got you curious regarding me if I may ask?" Naruto asked the catwoman.
"You're whisker marks. I've never seen anything like them before, so I was wondering what they are exactly." Blake said, looking at him with some intrigue, while not mentioning scents she was smelling from him. It confused her. 'It would be nice to know a fellow faunus while attending the academy together. They do look cute on him.' Blake thought with a tiny blush at the thought, but shook it off mentally.
"Right, well, they're birthmarks really, but they give me a unique look so I'm not complaining about them. You also intrigue me. You have quite the beautiful eyes Blake." Naruto complimented with a smile that made Blake blush at the compliment. She was used to compliments, but he sounded sincere rather than anything else.
"Thank you, but you're curious about me? That's a first, but thank you nonetheless." Blake said, getting a nod from him when he saw her yawn and did the same.
"I guess it's getting late if we're both yawning like this, we should probably call it a night. I hope to speak with you more tomorrow Blake." Naruto said, getting a nod from her in return.
"Maybe." Blake said, as she blew out the candle and she along with the others went to their sleeping bags for the night to get some sleep with Naruto and Kuro sharing one together, getting looks from Yang, Ruby, a scandalous Weiss, and a raised brow from Blake at their actions, but they paid them no mind.
"Goodnight Naruto." Kurotsuchi whispered as she kissed him.
"Goodnight Kuro." Naruto whispered, returning the kiss as they went to sleep.
Linebreak
Everyone was getting ready for the initiation with Naruto getting to his locker as he finished unsealing his things along with Kuro. She was wearing the Iwa Jonin flak jacket that she always wore, her stone hitai-ate around her forehead while his was tied around his forearm. Naruto decided to wear his Jonin outfit along with his father's cloak when he was Hokage at the time. His kunai pouch was on his hip behind him.
"Well this is it, you ready hime?" Naruto asked.
"Of course, this'll be fun compared to what we've dealt with." Kuro grinned in excitement.
They were standing next to Ruby and Yang as they talked and saw others were getting ready themselves, Naruto looked around and saw a few people that caught his attention and Kuro giggled upon seeing a young woman with orange hair and turquoise eyes, but she was extremely hyper and was talking rapidly. While the other person had black hair in a ponytail, holding two guns that also could act as knives at the same time, who was just listening to her ramble.
"Oh I like her, she's got spirit!" Kuro giggled as Naruto felt bad for her friend who seemed to be listening and not able to get a word in.
Right of course you would." Naruto huffed knowing his fiance as he looked around and saw Weiss talking to a beautiful redhead with green eyes. She has her hair in a ponytail and is wearing a brown over-bust corset a black A-;ine mini skirt, brown opera-length gloves and brown high-heeled boots with bronze trim with her shield strapped to her back. She looked a little uncomfortable seeing how she was slightly fidgeting.
"I'll be right back." Naruto said, leaving the three to themselves.
"Aww okay fine, you'll be my partner though right?!" Ruby asked, hope in her voice, when he gave her a thumbs-up making her smile in relief and blush a little something she tried hiding, but Yang and Kuro both saw it and giggled/smirked at her.
"What?" Ruby asked, but paled when she saw the smirks on their faces, meaning that they must've seen her blush.
"You like him don't you~?" Kuro sang in a teasing manner when Ruby jumped at Kunoichi and started hitting her chest playfully with a pout on her face.
"I do not!" Ruby yelled with the pout on her face still.
Oh it's nothing to be ashamed of, I don't mind at all." Kuro said, their jaws dropping.
"WHAT?!" They nearly screamed, completely flabbergasted at what they heard her say.
"Yeah, I don't mind sharing. Honestly, he was engaged to four others along with me when the war started, so it wouldn't be too strange." Kuro giggled at their reactions when Yang snapped out of it and giggled at the news which turned into laughing.
"Okay, I didn't see that coming at all!" Yang laughed and Ruby was still blushing at hearing he had a harem before.
Naruto made his way to the two when he heard how Weiss was trying to get the redhead to think how cool it would be to partner together, making him sigh, wondering what's going on.
"Hello." Naruto waved at the two who turned around to see Naruto approaching them and the redhead smiled at him and he could see Weiss's eyebrow was twitching a little.
"Hello. Aren't you the guy who had to go see Professor Ozpin last night?" The redhead asked.
"Yeah, I am." Naruto said with a shrug.
"It's nice to meet you. I'm Pyrrha Nikos." Pyrrha introduced herself.
"Naruto Uzumaki. It's good to see you this morning Weiss. Are you both ready for the initiation test?" Naruto asked.
"I am. I wonder what it will entail." Pyrrha said, getting a shrug from him.
"It's a pleasure to see you again Naruto, but what are you doing here?" Weiss asked, slightly annoyed at being interrupted.
"Just thought I'd get acquainted with other students since we'll be attending the same school for the foreseeable future." Naruto smiled at them.
"But the test hasn't happened yet, how do you know we'll pass?" Weiss asked, curiously.
"I just have a feeling that everyone here will pass it and I like to think I'm a pretty good judge of character. I see you both have a lot of potential." Naruto said.
"You really think so?" Weiss asked, a tiny blush appeared on her pale cheeks. She was used to compliments, but to hear it from him since he was a good friend to her sister, made it better.
"Definitely." Naruto said.
"And me?" Pyyrha asked, more curiously than anything.
"Same thing to you Pyrrha. I just have a feeling that you'll do so much." Naruto said, getting smiles from the two, touched at his words.
"Where's your weapon?" Weiss asked, noticing that she didn't see him with one.
"I should probably get it out or one of them out at least." Naruto mused when he rolled his sleeve to see a strange tattoo of sorts and he put his finger on it releasing a scroll that appeared in his hands.
"What's that? Does that contain your weapon or something?" Weiss asked, confused about what was going on.
"You'll see. This scroll contains numerous weapons that I've learned how to use, so let's see." Naruto said, rolling out the scroll, having gotten Ruby and Yang's attention when they saw Kuro looking at him with a smirk as she led them over to see what was going on.
"What's he doing?" Yang asked.
The scroll unfurled to reveal several of the same tattoos or at least similar that had different writing on them. There were ten of them in writing and he pressed one and when it was revealed, they saw it looked like a guitar of sorts that had six tomoes that looked like the three tomoes on a Sharingan and with it had a scythe attached to it with a chain of sorts attaching the two together.
"Woah, that's so cool, what is it?" Ruby asked, starry eyed at the weapons, going into her weapons fan-mode.
"This is a gunbai that belonged to someone I fought in the past and was able to take it from him. It's a special weapon that can reflect attacks back at the opponent. It may not look like much, but it's too not to be underestimated." Naruto said as he rubbed his hand across it.
"You fought the person who used this against you?! Why would you keep it if it belonged to an enemy?" Yang asked.
"To keep it from someone else using it really. That and I've come to like using it after a while. I have other weapons you'll see at some point, so relax Ruby or should I say cookie…" Naruto was interrupted when Ruby used her semblance to cover his mouth with her hands, giving a sheepish and nervous smile.
"It's nothing." Ruby quickly said, while looking sheepish.
"I need to hear more about this later, for now let's continue getting ready for the test." Yang said, going back to her locker with Ruby following even if she wanted to learn more about his weapons.
"Right, I need to finish preparing, but I do hope that we can be partners, Pyrrha." Weiss said, with a smile before walking away, leaving just Naruto and Pyrrha left.
"Don't mind her. She's just excited to see you I guess, but why was she wanting to be partners with you so much?" Naruto asked, getting a sigh from the redhead.
Pyyrha, knowing what the reason most likely was, but didn't like it. "It's because I'm known as the "invincible girl" because of my four year winning streak in the Mistral Region Tournament." She told him with a frown.
"And? That's it? That's stupid if you ask me, she should want to be partners with you because of the person's character and not because of what you've accomplished. I get why, but it shouldn't be the sole reason. I've never been one for titles, so to me you're just Pyyhra Nikos a student at Beacon Academy." Naruto said with a smile.
She looked at him with widened eyes at what he said. Not many if any people had ever said anything like that to her, wanting to get to know her and not the "invincible girl" and it made her happy that she met someone who didn't see her like that, but rather as herself. She gave him a real smile and a nod of thanks.
"Thank you. It's nice to meet someone who'd rather get to know me than the one everyone else wants too. I'll see you out there and good luck." Pyyhra said, waving to him as she left.
"You know, Kushina would approve of her." He heard Kurotsuchi speak and he groaned at her teasing, but he couldn't deny that, since she was really nice and humble too.
"Very true, but don't go scaring anyone." Naruto said, getting a huff from his fiance.
"Hey, it's not my fault that you need more than one woman to satisfy you." Kuro said, getting a dry look from him, but she ignored it." And I can't make any promises since I saw a couple already that caught my interest." Kuro grinned as he shook his head and sighed.
"You're such a tease, you know that?" Naruto deadpanned at her, but somehow her grin widened.
"It's almost time for the test, we should get going. Are you planning on using any other weapons or just your gunbai?" Kuro asked, ignoring him curiously.
"Maybe, it depends, but I think these will be enough." Naruto said as she nodded as they left with their gear on ready for whatever Oz would have in store for them.

Emerald Forest
All the students were lined up on launch pads, having their own conversations as they waited for Ozpin to start explaining the test and most of the people were excited and anxious to get things started.
Now at the Beacon Cliff, overlooking a forest, where several students are standing in front of a mug-holding Professor Ozpin and Glynda with her tablet.
"For years, you have trained to become warriors, and today, your abilities will be evaluated in the Emerald Forest." Ozpin told the students.
"Now you have heard rumors about the class being divided into teams of four." Glynda begins to say. "Perfectly true. The results of this initiation will be the deciding factor in forming those teams. So don't think about whom you'd like to be teamed up with too much." Glynda said to the students.
Ruby groaned, feeling less comfortable with the situation. However, Weiss flinched a bit because she had some preference in mind.
"That being said, once the initiation begins and you touch down in the woods you and the first person you make eye contact with will become your partner for the next four years." Ozpin told everyone.
Ruby's shocked expression mirrors her world cracking like glass and falling apart really not liking this. "Whaaaat?!"
'Poor Ruby.' Naruto thought to himself, while the Biju were chuckling at her.
"See? I told you-!" Nora told Ren.
Naruto has a thought process. 'WHAT THE ACTUALLY HELL, IS OZPIN OUT OF HIS MIND?! Deciding partners based on eye contact, that's a terrible way of pairing people together!' He thought this because when he and Kuro were assigned teams in the EN they picked their teams by different data obtained such as skill, weapons, strengths, weaknesses, and personality traits to set up teams. So to Naruto and Kurotsuchi this setup is random, chaotic, and different.
"After you've partnered up, make your way to the Temple Ruins in the northern end of the forest and retrieve a Relic from within. You will meet opposition along the way as these woods are home to many Grimm. Each is a threat in its own right. Should you let your guard down even your extensive training won't save you. So don't hesitate to destroy everything in your path...or you will die." Ozpin tells the group.
"Oh I'm loving this already." Kuro grinned as she cracked her knuckles, something that Yang did likewise.
"Naturally we will be monitoring but don't expect any assistance from us. It's up to you to ward off any and all dangers." Ozpin told the students. "That's the gist. Any questions?" Ozpin asked, seeing no one raise their hands, he continued.
"Great! Now, take your positions." Ozpin told the students.
Everyone struck a pose. Nora hefted her hammer over her shoulder, Ren and Naruto wielded their weapons, Yang and Kuro raised their fists in excitement, Ruby readied her body, Blake looked calm as ever, and Weiss looked ready, and Pyrrha was focused and had a determined look..
"Good, now good luck students." Ozpin said, as people started getting launched out.
Yang grinned at her sister and friend before she put on shades from somewhere and was launched with Ruby grinning following suit. Naruto and Kurotsuchi smirked before they were sent off themselves leaving the two faculty members left.
"I get the feeling that Mr. Uzumaki and Mrs. Uzumaki will make things more interesting around Beacon." Ozpin mused, getting a slow nod from his assistant knowing how true that statement was.
Naruto brought his hands up as sand appeared below him before long a sand bed was formed as Naruto landed on it and flew past the others who had their own landings. He heard Ruby cry "Birdie no!" which made him chuckle.
Weiss summons a white snowflake glyph and leapt off it to slow her own fall into the forest.
Nora sailed by Ren who spun in the air and used his weapons StormFlower to spiral around the trunk of a large tree and landed on the ground, brushing her clothes of dust before looking up to see Yang soaring past her.
"Woo-hoo! Yeah! Alley-oop!" Yang yelled as she used Ember Celica in Shot Gauntlets but yellow and their recoil to "tree-surf" through the top of the forest, spinning in the air and laughing with each blast as she went further north. "Whoa-whoa!"
She crashes through the leaves of some trees while whooping and bounded off of two trees before rolling onto the ground.
"Nailed it!" Yang boasted and ran off unaware that she landed near a certain catgirl who began to trail her.
Pyrrha, with her weapon Milo a red and gold hiltless sword and Akouo a bronze shield, used her shield Akouo to tank through several trees before landing on a branch, shifted Milo into Shotgun Mode to check her surroundings.
Kurotsuchi brought some kunai out as she wrapped ninja wire through the loops before throwing them at the trees as they wrapped around them making her descend on the ground in a low crouch.
"Alright!" Kuro shouted as she took off, wondering who her partner would be.
Naruto was riding on the sandbed with no care in the world, wondering how this test would go. He knew that Kuro would be able to handle anything, but was a little worried for Yang and Ruby since they don't have as much experience. He stopped when he saw a large group of Beowolf's and vulpine that seemed to be preparing to take off, but he would need to deal with them. It would be a decent warm-up too afterall. Naruto landed in front of them with his gunbai and scythe out with a gleeful grin on his face.
"So, who's first?" Naruto asked and the response he got was a roar from the group as they ran at him while he did the same.
With Kurotsuchi
Once she landed she was looking around for someone since she needed to find a partner and then get a relic. She saw two grimm appeared in front of her. She did some quick hand signs before taking a deep breath.
"Lava Style: Planet-Branding Blast!" She said, spitting out acid that hit her targets and watched as they screamed in agony and pain until they dispersed in ashes leaving her disappointed.
"Well that was boring. I was hoping to have some form of challenge." Kuro said with a frown when the next second she heard some rustling nearby and quickly threw a kunai at the bushes, but instead of hearing a squelching sound, she heard metal clash against her kunai as the person emerged from the bushes.
"Well I wasn't expecting to be attacked by another student." Kuro heard a voice that sounded with some mirth which made her laugh in embarrassment.
"I'm sorry about that. I heard something and I reacted on instinct." Kuro apologized with a small embarrassing grin on her face.
"It's fine, you didn't know what it was, so you reacted and I would've done something similar. That was impressive work though on the grim, spitting lava acid from your mouth though is unheard of. Is that your semblance?" The person asked with intrigue.
"It's something that only me and Naruto can do, but I'll be glad to explain some of my other abilities. We are partners after all." Kuro said with a grin.
"That we are. It's nice to meet you. I'm Pyrrha Nikos." Pyrrha introduced herself.
"Oh I know, I saw you talking to Naruto after all." Kuro grinned at her which for some reason made her a little uneasy.
"You know Naruto? He seems like a nice person." Pyrrha said, looking thoughtful.
"We've known each other for three years and trust me, he's really nice. There aren't many like him, so he's one of a kind." Kuro sighed with a smile that made Pyrrha smile back.
"Well we should get going, so we can get a relic right?" Kuro asked as the redhead nodded as they walked away.
With Ozpin and Glynda
"Well Kurotsuchi is impressive with her ability to use lava and from what Naruto said, it's a combination of earth and fire to create it." Ozpin commented while drinking his coffee.
"And with her teamed with Miss Nikos, they'll be a tough pair and they seem to get along. It seems Naruto hasn't found a team though seeing how those two are the last pairs, what are we going to do about that?" Glynda asked, wondering what the headmaster would do.
"We'll see what happens in the rest of the test." Ozpin said, leaving Glynda to her thoughts on it as they went back to monitoring the test.
"They're all close to the ruins. What did you end up using for the relics?" She asked, but got no response as he continued to drink his coffee as if he had no care in the world when they heard something and turned to see a portal opening and a figure walked out of it who they hadn't seen in sometime.
It was a woman, she had messy black hair like a certain blonde that Naruto knows and had red eyes. Her attire consisted of a V neck black and red wrap style top with a black pleated skirt that has black shorts underneath, with a series of beaded necklaces. She also wears a red obi sash around her waist alongside a red tassel wrapped around her waist that carries her weapon's sheath. Attached to it is a long black object that is either fur or feathers, with a red and white bandana material hanging from behind her. Her forearms bear red armored gauntlets that protrude outwards and black fingerless gloves. She wore black mid-thigh high boots that had armor plating with red splatter patterns and black heels.
"Raven? What are you doing here?" Ozpin asked his former student.
"I'm here to see how my daughter and Summer's daughter do in the initiation test. I also have news to report later on." Raven said, getting nods from them.
"Alright, you should also know that Naruto Uzumaki is here." Ozpin told her who's eyes widened a bit at the news and narrowed her eyes at the name.
"He is huh? I might need to pay him a visit, after all it's been a number of years since I've heard the name and clashed blades with. He must've gotten much stronger by now if it's been 8 years." Raven said with hidden excitement at the thought of fighting him again, but would be in for a surprise when she'd find out it's only been four years for him.
With Naruto
He was having the time of his life dealing with the grim. There were 20 Beowulf's and 15 Ursa's from what he could tell, but it didn't matter since they were all going to die anyway.
Naruto shot towards the group with a grin as the first Beowulf swiped at him, but Naruto jumped over it and swung his scythe downwards stabbing it in the head with his weapon killing it instantly.
Two more came up on both of his sides causing him to roll forward right into one in front of him as He used his gunbai as a shield and channels some of his wind Chakra into it pushing the one he ram into back to a tree killing it. 'Well one down nineteen to go.' He thought.
As he was thinking he might Take to long he made three clones before looking at its creator before nodding and pulling 5 other Grimm's with it to another location close enough to help if needed.
Clone 1
"Boss never said they would be this ugly." As the Clone said that the Beowolf attacked him before the Clone Knock it on it side by side stepping as hitting it in the maw then watching as it flew and knocked some down.
Clone 2
The clone Jumps and rolls as he dodges the grims while he pulls out 2 Kunias and reverse grips them before running forward and killing 2 while planting his foot in 2 more knocking them away." Note to Boss, use trench knives for clones" The clone said to himself.
Clone 3
"Well who wants to party?" The Clone said in a joking like Manner before rolling to it'd side as a Ursa attacked from behind he then stood up before opening his hand as A circle blue energy started to form and the clone thrust it into the creature before using his other hand to knock away another one. "Man you guys don't take a joke do you."
With the Original
Naruto just slashed at a Beowulf with his scythe and blocked two swipes with his gunbai. He used the chance and pushed wind chakra into it as he swung it out sending out a large tornado that sent several of them away that also gave several cuts into it. When the tornado died down 6 Grimm disintegrated leaving him with a lot still.
One Beowulf charged at him from behind hoping to catch Naruto off guard, but he jumped over it and brought his fan down and slammed into it's head while slicing another one's head over. The Grimm got back up and roared in anger as it along with several others charged at him, surrounded.
He rolled out of the way as the first one charged at him and looked up to see the rest doing the same. He weaved through their attacks with the last one being jumped over while he used his gunbai fan to smack the claws away.
Once he landed he backflipped to gain further distance from them before he looked at the horde of Grimm that were left and charged at them with his weapons in hand.
One was smacked away with the fan while he sliced the throat of one and continued with the onslaught of them. One Ursa managed to knock his fan away when he was distracted as he sliced another Grimm, getting him to growl at himself for letting something like that happen. Luckily he had a chain that linked the two weapons together, so he pulled on it back to him and as the Ursa was about to claw his face, the gunbai fan met it's claw as a thud was heard.
"I hope that the others are doing alright, because this is getting boring to me now." Naruto muttered as he sliced the Ursa in half.
Ruby and Weiss
Not long after Ruby had landed, she began searching for a partner hoping to get someone she knew like her sister, Naruto, or Kuro having liked her, but to her luck, she became partners with Weiss Schnee, someone who she didn't get along with.
They dealt with a pack of Grimm, but Weiss had yelled at her for not thinking when she had almost stabbed her with her rapier and ended up getting in argument. They were now trying to figure out where to go, well Ruby was laying on the ground with clear annoyance on her lips while Weiss was trying to show she knew where to go, but kept changing her mind on directions.
"It's definitely this way… I mean…. This way! It's definitely this way… Alright, it's official, we passed it." Weiss said.
"Is it really too hard to admit that you have no idea where you're taking us?" Ruby asked, annoyed and trying to keep it under control as she stood up.
"Because I know exactly where we're going! We're going… to… the forest temple!" Weiss declared somewhat lamely, knowing how it sounded herself.
"UGH!" Ruby facepalmed and growled in her growing anger/frustration.
"Oh stop it! You don't know where we are, either!" Weiss countered, hoping that she would win the argument, but she was met with a growl as she was about to start punch something when they saw Naruto appear with his back to them as a grin was on his face.
"Alright and I just have one more to deal with than that should be the last of them." Naruto said, confusing them when the last Ursa appeared in the clearing.
"Naruto? Where have you been?" Ruby asked, but didn't get a chance to get an answer when Naruto was gone from his spot and all they saw was him slicing through the body sideways, making it roar as it disintegrated. He sighed when he saw Ruby and Weiss.
"Oh hey ladies, what's up?" Naruto asked, as if nothing happened and that he didn't just kill an Ursa with ease.
"The dolt here asked where you were, that's a good question. This is the first time anyone has seen you since the initiation test started." Weiss pointed out. He just shrugged.
"I've been a little busy dealing with a horde of grimm, but anyway shouldn't you guys be heading towards the temple?" Naruto asked and he saw the frustration that was coming from them.
"We're heading there now. Let's go Ruby." Weiss said, grabbing her arm and dragged her in a random direction.
Naruto noticed they were heading in the wrong direction and based on Ruby's expression, they weren't going in the right direction and he knew it.
"Um Weiss?" Naruto called out getting her attention. "The temple is North and you're heading the opposite direction of it." Naruto said, getting her to look at him with a glare, but she didn't say anything, but she stomped past him with Ruby standing beside him.
"She's impossible." Ruby whispered angrily to him, not wanting her to hear.
"I take it things haven't been going well for a start?" Naruto asked, already knowing based on the emotions he's sensing.
"You have no idea, she's insufferable, a know it all, and is just being a bitch." Ruby said. Naruto's jaw hit the ground at what he heard. Ruby swearing?! What the hell happened to the sweet girl he used to play with when he was 12 and she was 7?
Ruby noticed his look and raised an eyebrow, making her giggle slightly at his expressions.
"What's got you so shocked?" Ruby asked.
He deadpanned before he gave her a mock glare. "What happened to the sweet little Ruby where she's swearing now? I can't believe she'd do something so horrible." Naruto said, dramatically grabbing his chest, making her giggle at his antics.
"Would you two shut up and focus, this is a serious test we're in the middle of and you're joking around!? Can you be serious for a moment?!" Weiss glared at the duo who looked at her with different reactions. Ruby was seething and glaring at her while Naruto was amused, but could understand her point of view.
"Fair enough, well I can get us there quickly if you'll let me." Naruto suggested with Ruby accepting as she was hugging his arm immediately, but Weiss was confused on what he meant and how he'd get them there.
"And how would you get us there?" Weiss asked, when Naruto raised his hand and sand appeared before lifting them in the air forming a bed for them to sit on.
The two looked at the blonde in shock and didn't expect him to do something like that or be able to.
Weiss was the first one to come out of her stupor as she voiced her thoughts.
"Is this your semblance, being able to manipulate sand?" The Schnee heiress asked.
"I guess you can call it that. It's hard to explain, but it's one of the abilities I can do. For now rest until we get there because I can sense the others and things are getting interesting over there." Naruto told them who slowly nodded.
It didn't take long for them to get to where the others were and it was safe to say that things were getting interesting. There were several people there with Yang being recognized along with Blake, but he didn't recognize the other two and couldn't see Kurotsuchi or Pyrrha.
What neither noticed was there was a nevermore following them because of the negative emotions and the animosity coming from Ruby and Weiss in regards to their feelings towards each other.
"There they are and it looks like we're the last ones to get there." Naruto said as he was taking them down, but Ruby was too excited to wait and decided to take a different way down…..by jumping…. Making him sigh at her excitableness. He would need to work with her on being more patient on things while Weiss was surprised and was about to start yelling at her teammate, but Naruto put a hand up.
"Let her be, she's just excited is all and it's not like it's a big drop for her anyway. Try not to be too hard on her about it as it's just how she is. Boundless energy." He chuckled, remembering when he first got to know her, she was so excited and had so much energy and could talk so fast it was adorable and hilarious. Weiss after a minute also chuckled imagining it and relaxed a bit more, since it was just them, something that Naruto noticed, but didn't comment.
"Thank you for the ride and….helping us." Weiss thanked hesitantly, not wanting to feel like she needed help.
"It's no problem and I don't think it's a weakness for asking for help from someone if that's what you're thinking. We can't do everything ourselves ya know. One of my teachers taught me that and since you have a partner now, you won't be alone in this, so please try to get along with her and take care of her?" Naruto asked, she looked at him before nodding in understanding when they were close enough to the ground, she jumped off as he let the sand disappear and made his way towards the others.
"Yo." Naruto said, once he was with everyone and they were all looking at him with different reactions. Yang was looking at him with a grin, the other guy with them gave him a nod, Blake looked at him with curiosity, and the orangette woman was looking at him in excitement and awe.
"It's about time you got here Naruto, keeping me waiting like this." Yang whined as he tried to say something, but put him in a headlock with a smug grin when he tried escaping.
"Let me go Yang! This isn't the time for this!" Naruto said, but her grin got wider and she shook her head.
"Nope, you need to be punished for being too slow." Yang said, tightening her grip on him, but she started laughing when he started tickling her sides to get her to let go.
"HAHAHA STOP IT YOU IDIOT!" Yang laughed while she was being tickled as Ruby was giggling and smirking knowing her sister brought this on herself.
"Never! You will pay for what you did! Fear me, Naruto Senju Uzumaki!" Naruto declared as he kept tickling her.
The others watched on with sweat drops not knowing what to do in this situation when Kuro and Pyrrha came running into the clearing with a deathstalker right behind them.
"Oh come on how long can this thing keep up for?!" Kuro shouted at the Grimm that had been chasing them for the last 5 minutes straight.
"Less talking, more running!" Pyrrha shouted back at her partner as she saw the Deathstalker swung its pincer at her and brought her shield out and took the hit and sent her crashing to the group with a groan.
"Pyrrha!" Kuro shouted seeing her partner take a hit like that.
"You alright?" Naruto asked, worried.
"I think so." Pyrrha groaned as Naruto walked towards Kuro when he raised his hands as sand started rising.
The sand formed a giant fist and before anyone could say anything, it punched the deathstalker and pushed it back into the forest giving Kurotsuchi the chance to get to everyone and rest a little.
"That should give us sometime." Naruto nodded to himself.
"We have our relics already, so you two still need to get yours." Yang said, holding up her and Blakes' gold knight piece as Nora still had the golden castle in her hand.
Ruby and Kuro moved forward into the temple to see there were a few pieces left to pick from. The red-cloaked girl grabbed the golden knight piece while the Iwa Kunoichi grabbed the other gold castle piece as they grinned at each other.
Weiss noticed Naruto didn't have a partner nor was he going for a relic, decided to ask.
"How come you don't have a partner? Were you not able to find one?" Weiss asked with the others looking at him.
"Nope, but that's okay. Professor Oz has something in mind for me, so it's pointless for me to grab a relic." Naruto shrugged.
"What do you mean he has something planned for you? Do you know what it is?" Ruby asked, getting a shrug, making her pout.
"You'll have to wait and find out like everyone else Rubes." Naruto teased, making her pout further, making her look extremely cuter which should be illegal.
"Look, we can talk about this later, but we should get going back to the cliffside right?" Naruto suggested getting nods from everyone as the group of nine took off with Ruby leading them, as Yang looked at her sister in pride getting Naruto and Blake's attention seeing she wasn't moving.
"You see something?" Naruto asked.
"What is it?" Blake asked her partner.
Yang didn't answer as she stared proudly at her sister, who leapt on a boulder and motioned for the group to keep up the pace.
"Nothing…." Yang said racing after the group as Blake and Naruto looked at each other before shrugging with smiles as they followed.
Abandoned Ruins
Naruto, Ruby, Weiss, Blake, Yang, Kurotsuchi, Pyrrha, Nora, and Ren ran out of the forest and into a series of ruined structures as the Nevermore tailed them from the air. The group spread out and took cover behind some stone pillars as the Nevermore perched on a high column in front of them and cawed loudly.
"Well, that's just great!" Yang complained.
"It's about to get worse." Naruto stated as the Death Stalker burst from the trees behind the group. "Everybody, MOVE NOW!" He yelled.
Everyone bolted from their covers as the Nevermore rose up into the air when it saw them scattering.
"Nora, distract it!" Ren said as they moved.
Nora obliged and ran as the Nevermore fired off its feather projectiles. She ducked and leapt over them, bringing out her grenade launcher Magnhild and fired on the Nevermore, heart-topped shells bursting into pink electricity upon impact, causing it to retreat. The Death Stalker came up behind her and attacked, but failed to hit its target as Blake and Ren performed a cross-slash that knocked its claws off course as Weiss grabbed Nora and used a glyph to boost themselves away from the Death Stalker that was now chasing Blake and Ren.
"Go, go!" Pyrrha said to the group as she shifted Milo into its rifle mode and fired upon the Death Stalker as Ren landed next to her and started firing too until Blake leapt forward as the Death Stalker took a swipe at them, but missed as they ran.
The nine Hunters-in-training raced across the bridge until the Nevermore reappeared and rammed into the bridge, shattering it and separating the group; trapping Blake, Kurotsuchi, Ren, and Pyrrha with the Death Stalker and Ruby, Weiss, Yang, Nora, and Naruto cut off from them on the other side of the bridge.
The Death Stalker knocked Blake back as Pyrrha, Kurotsuchi, and Ren tried to keep it back with gunfire and a fireball from Kuro that only seemed to anger it more.
"Shit! They need help!" Naruto said seeing they were struggling.
"Let's do this!" Nora said, readying her Magnhild.
"Think you can get us over there?" Naruto smirked.
"Oh yeah." Nora grinned diabolically. She then shifted her weapon from grenade launcher into a giant full-length hammer, and hopped to the edge of the break in the bridge.
"Hehehe." Naruto chuckled seeing what she was about to do, Nora slammed Magnhild into the edge of the bridge that catapulted him to the other side towards the Death Stalker.
Without losing her smile, Nora hopped on her hammer and fired it off the collapsing bridge, riding it through the air before she and Naruto slammed Magnhild or double punched with his fist being encased in chakra on the head of the Death Stalker's skull. The Death Stalker retaliated with its stinger, causing Nora to fire her weapon, using its recoil to avoid it, but Nora accidently bumped into a recovering Blake and made her fall from the edge.
As she was falling Blake looked up to see the Nevermore flying above before she righted herself up and fired her Gambol Shroud in its kusarigama mode using it recoil into the edge of the bridge while using her ribbon to swing away heading to the Nevermore. Blake managed to get onto its back before she ran across its back, slashing with her blade and sheath, before jumping off and landing on the ruined platform at the top of the columns next to Ruby, Yang, and Weiss.
"It's tougher than it looks!" Blake told them.
"Then let's hit it with everything we got!" Yang declared as she readied her Ember Celica.
Ruby turned Crescent Rose from sniper rifle into its scythe form to give her better aim. Blake switched Gambol Shroud from her sword Mode to pistol mode. Weiss spun the barrel on her rapier Myrtenaster and prepared to shoot ice at it. They exploded at once. Weiss fired ice at it, Yang shot the exploding bullets at it, Blake and Ruby fired their guns.
The Nevermore dived towards them and the bird Grimm was barely affected by their barrage of attacks. It dive-bombed into the columns and platform, throwing chunks of stone everywhere as it began to fall into the misty chasm below, with the four girls using them to hop off them in various ways; with Ruby jumping off a stone and using the recoil of her Crescent Rose, Weiss using her glyphs to boost herself up, Blake using the ribbon with her Gambol Shroud and running up a pillar, and Yang using the recoil of Ember Celica and punching the stone pieces at the same time to reach the higher bridge above.
"None of this is working!" Weiss complained as Ruby analyzed her surroundings.
She saw Naruto with Pyrrha, Nora, Kurotsuchi, and Ren facing down the Death Stalker; Blake reaching the bridge, and Yang firing round after round at the Nevermore, before grinning at Weiss.
"I have a plan! Come on!" She said, grabbing her by her arm and hopped over to the next bridge.
Back with Naruto, Kuro, Nora, Ren, and Pyrrha they were engaging the Deathstalker, but its armor was tough. Somehow Nora had gotten close to the Grimm and was happily smashing her hammer on it, which was unexpectedly making dents in it, but it wasn't enough.
Naruto nodded as he warily stared at the Death Stalker, "None of our weapons can pierce that armor of its, even with Nora's help."
Moving as one the group evaded the pincer that had slammed into where they had just been standing, the impact causing a small dust cloud to form. The Death Stalker roared in frustration as its prey escaped it once again.
"But the question is how to get close without getting caught by those pincers?" Naruto questioned with his eyes widened when a thought came to mind. "Kuro use your lava to try to burn his pincers off or at least make them useless!" He called out to his fiancé who nodded and brought her hand up in a single hand seal when lava came out of the ground and encased the Grimm's pincers before Naruto sent out a small wave of water that made contact with it and hardened the lava coating it's pincers with Earth.
"Nora now!" Kuro declared to her teammate who nodded and brought her hammer forward and smashed it into the pincers, shattering them leaving him with only it's stinger left.
Ren ran forward and jumped on its tail and started shooting it, weakening it from its spot. The Grimm shook him, sending him flying off and towards a building and would've collided with it if a wall of sand hadn't intercepted him and stopped him from colliding with it, giving a grateful look, he jumped down to continue shooting it.
Kurotsuchi saw the pincer moving around loosely, giving her an idea as she looked over at the redhead.
"Pyrrha the tail!" Kuro shouted.
"On it." Pyrrha threw her shield like a disc, cutting off the stinger leaving him with nothing to do. She threw her spear at its head which shrieked in pain and got angrier, but wasn't able to do anything since it was defenseless.
"Nora, hammer time." Kuro told the orangette who had a giant smirk on her face as she used her hammer to propel herself forward to increase her speed. She smashed against the spear, sending it straight through its skull to the ground as it disappeared into nothingness. They all breathed a sigh of relief in being done with Naruto sealing his gunbai and scythe away, when they noticed that the others were still fighting the Nevermore.
It screeched as it made its way back around to them and opened its mouth to eat Yang, allowing Yang to jump into its maw and force its beak open as she fired rounds into the bird Grimm's mouth.
"I! Hope! You're! Hung-! -Gry!" Yang screamed as she fired a round with each syllable.
Looking behind her, Yang jumps back into the ruin while Naruto used a Rasengan on the back of the Nevermore, boosting himself off and used his crimson chains to reel himself up on the cliff above, causing the Nevermore to crash into the wall of the cliff. The bird Grimm recovered quickly and screeched as Yang smirked and retreated, passing Weiss as she glided forward. The Nevermore tried to take flight, but Weiss jumped forward and stabbed the tip of Myrtenaster into its tail, freezing it in place and preventing the flapping Nevermore from getting away. Weiss then backflips into her snowflake symbol glyph and lands back to the group.
From the cliff, Naruto observed the girls' enacting Ruby's plan. On a pillar, Blake fired Gambol Shroud in pistol mode over to the adjacent pillar where Yang caught it and stabbed it into her pillar. With Blake still holding on to the ribbon, the two partners tightened it between the columns as Ruby jumped onto it while sitting on Crescent Rose the same way Nora sat on Magnhild in the air, and bend the ribbon back next to Weiss, who had a white glyph that turned black when Ruby jumped into it.
"Of course you would come up with this idea." Weiss said.
"Think you can make the shot?" Ruby asked, not taking her eyes off the struggling Nevermore.
"Hmm! Can I?" Weiss countered confidently.
"Fire." Ruby grinned.
Weiss release Ruby as the Glyph turned blood red when Ruby pulled Crescent Rose's trigger, launching her with such speed that it cracked the ground with rose petals flying from her ascent. Ruby continued shooting, using the recoil to boost herself towards the trapped Nevermore, until the blade caught into the Nevermore's neck and they both slammed into the cliff wall. Weiss then raised Myrtenaster and materialized a line of glyphs up the wall, which Ruby used to stick to the wall and run along the wall by firing all the way up while yelling.
Naruto, Yang, Blake, Kurotsuchi, Weiss, Pyrrha, Nora, and Ren watched in amazement as she wall-ran up the cliff with the Nevermore still caught in Crescent Rose's blade until she reached the cliff. Circling up, she fired one last shot, and cleaved the Nevermore's head clean off its shoulders in a shower of rose petals. Ruby flipped in the air and landed in Naruto's arms as the bird Grimm's severed head crashed next to them.
"Well that was a thing." Yang said after a moment of silence.
"That was great teamwork you four did. You've gotten so strong Ruby and I couldn't be anymore proud." Naruto said with a smile, that made Ruby grin when she heard his praise.
"We should be heading back to the cliff, so we can finish this test." Blake said, getting nods from everyone as they started walking back.
A loud rumbling was heard that startled the group when they heard a loud roar that was getting closer to them.
"What was that?" Ruby asked, a little worried considering how loud that was to them.
"I have no idea, but it doesn't sound good and it sounds like it's getting closer." Weiss said, not liking what she was hearing.
"So, we should probably move faster than right?" Pyrrha asked, getting nods from everyone except for Naruto and Kuro who were curious on what it could be.
"Okay, I kinda want to see what it is." Naruto grinned, which everyone else sweatdropped while Kuro shook her head at her fiancé's curiosity and craziness.
"What?! Are you insane!? We can just head straight back and be done with this and you want to go see what it is?!" Weiss shouted incredulously at the blonde Jinchuriki who shrugged uncaringly.
"I'm one for danger and trouble, it's in my blood after all being an Uzumaki." Naruto said as they heard another roar that was much closer than the last one they heard.
It was then they all saw a shadow come over them and they turned to see a Wyvern appear. It was enormous with large red bat-like wings, a pair of legs and a tail. The red membrane of the wing is translucent. It has rough black skin, with whit bone-like spines along its body, including an external skull, rib cage, and rows of dorsal spikes. It has large claws on both its legs and on the tip of its tail. Its skull has a pair of large prominent horns and six yellow-red eyes. Its jaw has teeth extending down along the creature's neck, beyond its large red bat-like wings, a pair of legs and a tail. The red membrane of the wing is translucent. It has rough black skin, with white bone-like spines along its body, including an external skull, rib cage and rows of dorsal spikes.
"What the fuck?!" Kuro shouted in surprise at seeing it with everyone else paling and afraid knowing what it was.
"T-that's a…." Yang started to say.
"Wyvern!" Blake finished with her amber eyes wide and she was in fear at seeing this beast here of all places.
"What's an S-class Grimm doing here?" Ruby asked, shaking in her spot.
"I don't know, but we really need to get out of here now since we're all still tired from our fights." Ren said with some fear, but he was right he along with most of them were still tired.
They all nodded and started running when Kuro saw that Naruto wasn't moving, but had a grin on his face, making her palm her forehead, but had an amused expression knowing what he was about to do.
"I got this." Naruto told her since the others were too far, but Blake heard it thanks to her enhanced hearing and stopped to say something to him, but she yelped and was caught by surprise when several sand beds appeared under them carrying them away from him.
"Alright, let's cut loose!" Naruto shouted. 'I'm going to let one of you out to fight it. Matatabi, you up for the challenge?" Naruto asked.
'Oh yes, this'll be a great chance to stretch my legs and you get to show off too. If I didn't know any better, I'd assume you're trying to win some hearts, Naruto-kun.' Matatabi purred, making him facefault mentally and his eye was twitching at her teasing.
'Not the time for that. Let's do this!' Naruto said as he started channeling Biju chakra.
He started going through the transformation with his eyes becoming mismatched yellow and green with cat slits. His body became engulfed in blue flames and was getting bigger. Two cat ears formed on his head with two tails forming behind him. When the transformation was done, Matatabi could be seen from anywhere in the forest.
They roared as if they were one being with Matatabi taking control as she rushed the Grimm with her claws ready to claim its life.
Back with the others they didn't know what they were seeing as Naruto had just changed into a giant cat that seemed to be made of blue flames with mismatching eye colors.
"What the hell is that?!" Weiss screamed seeing the towering Biju as the others except for Kurotsuchi had their jaws on the ground.
"I. I don't know, I've never seen anything like this before. Naruto, what did you do?" Ruby asked her friend.
"I had a feeling he was a Faunus, but this is beyond anything I've ever seen before, can anyone explain what's going on?" Pyrrha asked, hoping someone could answer her questions.
"Naruto is fine. He's still there and just let a friend come play for a bit. This is the Nibi or the Two Tails." Kuro said, getting their attention.
"And how do you know this and what that is?" Weiss asked rudely.
"Because this isn't the first time I've seen her. She's really nice once you get to know her. Blake, you said he smelled of a cat right?" Kuro asked, getting her to nod.
"And this is the reason right, but how'd he summon her?" The cat faunus asked curious more than worried.
Kuro contemplated for a moment whether to explain the Biju since this is something that shouldn't be told to just anyone and wanted to make sure that no one other than a few would learn of their existence, knowing how some people would do anything to get that kind of power.
"Before I answer that question, can I trust you guys to keep this a secret? Professor Ozpin and Goodwitch already know this, having known Naruto for years now." Kuro said.
"Of course!" Ruby immediately agreed, knowing she could trust her new friend and longtime friend, knowing they'd never do anything to hurt them.
With Ozpin, Glynda, and Raven
"What's an S-class grim doing here in the forest Ozpin?!" Raven yelled at the male professor who looked like he was dying from the beating she was giving him.
"IIIIII DDDDDDIIIIIIIDDDDDNNNN'TTTTT KKKKNNNNOOOOWWWW!" Ozpin shouted as he took the beating from his former student while Glynda stared blankly at the scene before looking at the forest in worry.
It was than that they saw Matatabi emerge stopping the two from what they were doing to see the Two-Tailed Cat in her full glory.
"What is that?" Raven asked in complete shock having never seen anything like it.
"Hmm I'm not sure, but if it's anything from what I'm sensing than it might be something from Naruto's world and that just brought up several questions." Ozpin said with a sigh once he was able to get up.
"I agree. He'll be giving us answers for what is going on and what exactly happened back in the Elemental Nations." Glynda agreed fully with her boss.
"For now we'll watch as I trust Naruto to take care of the students and to keep them safe." Ozpin said as they watched what was about to happen.
Raven narrowed her eyes as they glowed red, knowing that she'd have questions for the Uzumaki when she saw him again and to spar with him.
