Chapter 3
It's been a few weeks since the semester started and things had been going well for himself, Team RWBY and Team KNPR with no more incidents happening as Weiss and Ruby got their things together since Weiss apologized for her attitude and how poorly she had talked about her and promised it wouldn't happen again. The two teams had been getting along and learning more about each other. School had sucked though, he'd never been one for academics, but he had help from some of the others that were willing to help him out which he was grateful for.
Another thing that had happened was his books that had been published had become too successful and with many having been sold becoming really popular. He found out that Blake loved those kinds of books which made him chuckle that no doubt Jiraiya would've loved that such a woman had an interest in them. Of course when she asked about the author if anyone knew, Kuro had spilled that his Godfather was the author of the books she had searched the school to track him down and question him about what he was like and it was something he hadn't been expecting from the Cat Faunus, but found it to be cute that she was a closet pervert or at least a fan of the books.
Lastly was when he got in contact with Winter after 8 years. He can still remember how she reacted.
*Flashback*'
It's been a week since he got Winter's number and he was finally deciding to give her a call, but had many things running through his head. Would she hate him for being gone so long? He knew she had a nasty temper when pissed off, so he was hoping that she wouldn't be too upset about him and hoped that he would be able to explain things.
"Well here goes nothing." Naruto said to himself when he quickly hit the call button and waited if she'd answer and hopefully wasn't busy knowing she was in the military in Atlas.
What felt like forever when she finally answered and it made him happy, but also was sweating a little on the inside.
"Who is this? How'd you get this number?" He heard a familiar tone that only one Winter Schnee could use, despite her sounding more mature, he knew it was still her.
"Hello Winter. It's been a long time." She heard him say that confused her.
"What are you talking about? Who are you? Identify yourself." She demanded, making him sweat even more knowing that this was going to end interesting to say the least.
"Naruto Uzumaki." He said and he was met with silence that made him worry a bit.
"...Can you repeat that? I'm not sure I heard you right, but did you say Naruto Uzumaki?" Winter asked with a smile that sent shivers down his spine, but he responded anyway knowing it wouldn't end well if he didn't.
"Y-yeah. I'm Naruto Uzumaki. Do.. Do you remember me?" He asked with some nervousness in his voice.
"If this is a joke.." She threatened, growling at the blonde when he waved his hands frantically in front of him.
"Nononononono. It's not a joke or anything like that. It's really me Winter. My Snow Queen." Naruto whispered the last part which got her to stiffen when a small warm smile made it to her face, knowing that only he would ever call her that.
"Must you call me that even now?" Winter asked, looking annoyed, but her tone showed nothing like that, but some mirth.
"It was the only way to prove I was who I said I was. I'm sure you have questions and I'll answer everything that I can and hopefully it'll make sense." Naruto said, getting her nodding with narrowed eyes that told him he better explain certain things.
"First off, why do you look to be my sister's age? Where have you been all this time?" She demanded giving him a strong glare as he chuckled nervously.
"W-well, it's a lot to explain, so before you do anything drastic, I'll tell you everything and then you can say what you want." Naruto said, getting her to sigh, but nodded and allowed him to answer her questions.
He explained everything to her, how he was from another dimension and why he seemed younger than he should be along with other things that she would want to know, including the Tailed Beasts and when he mentioned them, he asked if she could keep that a secret and when she asked why and after explaining she accepted knowing how some people would be power hungry and do anything to get to them. She was a little sad to be a few years younger than him now, but it didn't matter. She had her friend back now and she would need to pay him a visit, especially if Ironwood knows Naruto already, so that'll help.
"How's life been in the Military? I heard you're General Ironwood's second in command now." He said, she nodded in confirmation.
"Indeed I am. It's been tough, but nothing that I couldn't handle. If I can handle you, then I can handle anything." She joked, making him cry crocodile tears while she giggled behind her hand.
Naruto was pushed aside and Kuro came into view with a wide grin on her face that startled Winter. Taking a second to get a good look at her, she figured who it was.
"I take it you're Kurotsuchi? It's a pleasure to meet you, I'm Winter Schnee, Specialist to the Atlesian Military of General Ironwood." Winter introduced herself with a proud and professional look.
"Likewise. I'm Kurotsuchi, former Iwa Kunoichi and Commander of the Shinobi Alliance along with Naruto's fiance." Kuro returned the introduction herself as she nodded with a small eye twitch hearing fiance, despite knowing it already made her a little sad, something that Kuro saw and would ask about that.
"I'm going to let you two get acquainted while I go use the restroom." Naruto said, heading to go do that while Kuro nodded and left the two alone for a bit.
"So you have a thing for Naru huh?" Kuro bluntly stated, getting a small glare from her, in return.
"W-what?! That's ridiculous, I haven't seen him in years and what makes you think I feel anything towards the blonde dummy? That and you're engaged to him aren't you, so why ask such a thing?" Winter asked, trying to act calm, but the question came out of nowhere and she was a little bitter about it.
"And? He's a great guy who has a lot of love to give for one and I know he cares for you greatly. You were one of his first friends that he ever made in Remnant and in the Elemental Nations. I can tell there's something there he feels for you, but like you said, it's been years, so it'll take a little time to get those feelings back or perhaps they're there already just will get stronger." Kuro said.
Winter was completely at a loss of words, not only that she was one of his first friends ever, but also not knowing what to say to that and after minutes of just staring at Kuro who had a warm smile on her face decided to ask the question.
"Why? Why are you trying to push us together when you're engaged already? I don't understand." Winter was confused and was wondering what she was up to.
"To simply put it, he deserves all the happiness considering how his life was like in Konoha. He's never been one to not turn away a friend, especially someone he cares about greatly. You know he had some feelings for you in the time you spent together, but he never said anything knowing he had to go back to help deal with the Akatsuki. I know those feelings are still with how he would talk about you, he would get so happy and couldn't stop the smile on his face whenever you'd be mentioned." Kuro said to the woman, who couldn't hold the deep blush that was on her cheeks as steam was starting to come out of her ears. On the inside she was happy that he still cared for her and felt the same way. She would need to find a time to come visit sometime and with her sister Weiss there she would be able to see her too.
"T-thank you for telling me. I-I'll need to think about this and even visit if what you say is true. I had no idea he felt so strongly about me." Winter said with a smile that was bigger than anyone except maybe Weiss would ever see.
"Not to mention that he's the heir of two clans and I don't mind sharing him with others if they have the best intentions and feelings towards him." Kuro added, getting Winter's jaw to drop at the sudden revelation. Kuro just laughed at the expression, but couldn't blame her since it's not often that would happen.
Winter's brain shut down at this point and she fainted with a small trail of blood escaped her nose as Kuro laughed out loud gaining Naruto's attention who just got out of the bathroom seeing this became confused and saw the nosebleed facepalmed before turning to Kuro who was grinning sheepishly and giggling.
*End Flashback*
Now he was in the Emerald Forest, having asked Ozpin if he could go out there to spar with one of the Biju and when he asked why with them, it was because they could withstand the more of his dangerous techniques and wanted to cut loose. He accepted, but with the condition that people could spectate, with not having something like this to happen often which he hesitantly agreed only that a few teams would be able to observe and that this would never be revealed to anyone which was agreed instantly knowing how some people would do anything to get their hands on power like them. Of course when Teams RWBY and KNPR heard what was happening, they wanted to watch and see what he could do and joined the two professors in the observation deck..
"Oh this is so exciting! We get to see how strong Naruto is and a fight between him and one of the Biju. it is bound to be so exciting!" Ruby bounced on her toes in excitement as the others were just as excited, but could keep their emotions under control save for Nora who was reacting like Ruby, but you could see they couldn't wait either which made Kuro laugh.
"Oh believe me, seeing it once or twice myself isn't something you see everyday, but I need to warn you that they can get… destructive, so whatever happens, don't interfere." Kuro had their attention at her words and were wondering just how bad they get when they cut loose.
"I wonder which one he'll summon. I for one hope that Matatabi gets chosen, being my favorite and all." Blake commented.
"No, I wanna see what Shukaku can do!" Nora disagreed while Blake gave a small shake of her head.
"Are we taking bets on who he chooses? Because if we are, I want in on this!" Yang said, with Nora and Kuro thinking that would make things fun.
"Maybe we should. It would make it more fun after all." Pyrrha gave her opinion, while she normally wouldn't do something like gambling, but it's with friends and it was harmless, so she wasn't worried.
"YES!" Kuro, Yang, and Nora gave their grins and were excited now.
"I'm quite curious to see how this goes. After all we haven't seen what he can do since he goes through the spars against students so quickly it's almost unfair. I mean the only student who can give him even a remote challenge is Miss Kurotsuchi. Team RWBY and KNPR are not far behind either and are coming to be the best we have in the first year students." Glynda said, getting Ozpin to nod in agreement having seen a few spars that had ended nearly instantly with one or two hits only.
Ozpin then gained a little idea that could be beneficial, but would need to speak with his assistant and get her opinion on it, but he was sure she would agree to it with having someone like him as an aide to her combat class.
"Let's not get too carried away with this. After all, it's a spar nothing more." Wiess said, getting incredulous looks from everyone else there, making her shrink a little. "But if I had to pick one to see in action, I'd want to see Kokuo." She said in afterthought, making them nod, glad she was getting into it, albeit not as energetic about it, but was still nonetheless.
"Kurama all the way!" Ruby shouted, holding a sign with Kurama's name on it with the same being with Blake except it was Matatabi's name instead.
"Quiet, he's about to start." Kuro shushed them, amused by the banter by her classmates, but she was also hoping the Son would be summoned.
With Naruto
Naruto decided to change things up and so would make it more of a challenge to him and had gone through the hand signs when his seal glowed a brief moment along with the ten strange looking seals that were all over his body which only Blake, Kuro, Ozpin, Glynda, Weiss, Ren, and Pyrrha could see before the glow disappeared as a large amount of smoke appeared blocking everyone's view.
Naruto pushed wind chakra into his arms before swiping the smoke making it disappear revealing who would be sparring with him and to everyone's surprise there were three Biju instead of one which drew wide eyes from everyone looking at the scene with shock. There was Kurama along with Kokuo, and Matatabi and they all appeared to be grinning at the blonde.
"I've been looking forward to this for a long time! Let's see what you're made of." Kurama grinned at his host, wanting to battle his friend without restraint.
"This will be exciting. It's been a long time since I've been able to stretch my legs like this, so make it count Naruto-kun." Matatabi told him with a toothy grin.
"Do try to not go overboard though since you tend to get go too far sometimes." Kokuo said, making him sulk at her words, but knew she had a point.
"I'll try not to." Naruto grumbled as the Biju chuckled.
They charged at each other with Naruto activating his Rinne-Sharingan which glowed deep purple with rings and tomoes as he did the same and met them in the middle.
With the others
Kuro was slightly caught off guard, before she started laughing which drew everyone's attention to her.
"What's so funny? He's about to take on three Tailed Beasts by himself! This is no laughing matter." Weiss chastised her friend with a frown.
"I'm not laughing at him or the spar, but I'm laughing that Naruto would choose to battle with three of them, yet I'm not surprised he'd do something like this." Kuro chuckled as they all were surprised he'd do something so reckless, but those that really knew him weren't as much.
"Why?" Blake asked, she couldn't believe what she heard and frowned at seeing the blonde fight the powerful Tailed Beasts that they'd had all gotten to know, but was worried that Naruto would be in over his head.
"Do you think he'll be alright?" Pyrrha asked, worried for her blonde friend, but Ozpin, Glynda, and Kuro shook their heads.
"When Naruto was here, he was 12-13 years old and he was extremely strong for his age. By that time, he was taking on older and stronger Grimm along with taking on Hunters and Huntresses or even ones that were in training older than him. He had even given a challenge to some of our best Huntresses and Hunters including your Uncle Qrow along with his sister, Raven Branwen, Tai Xiao-Long, and Summer Rose." Ozpin said, further catching the students who were in awe of Naruto's skill at that age, but frowned remembering that he had been training and fighting ever since he was 6 when he became a Shinobi.
"It's incredible to think he could go toe to toe against Uncle Qrow! Oh I'm so jealous!" Ruby gushed in awe and jealousy that amused everyone else except for one who clenched her fists, knowing that her friend had met her mom at one point and was almost strong enough to fight her.
"To think that he'd be that good at that age. I can't even imagine how strong he must've gotten in the few years since then. It's scary to think about." Yang shuttered a little at the thought, but wasn't scared of him.
"Why did his eyes change color just now? They became purple and weird looking." Nora commented, getting everyone to look at her in confusion before Kuro spoke up.
"Ahh so he's using those already? Guess when facing three of them, he'd have to get serious." She mused to herself when she saw the confused looks on their faces. "He's using something that was given to him by his best friend that's called the Rinne-Sharingan. He's the second person to have ever had those eyes since it's a combination of the Rinnegan and Sharingan. The Sharingan belongs to his friend's family of the Uchiha Clan. I'm sure you'll see what they'll be able to do, but just know that he's much more powerful now than he was before and the Tailed Beasts know this, so this'll be something to watch." She smirked in excitement.
"Oh now we're talking. He's certainly going to catch our eyes with this. Eh, eh?" Yang joked, but got dry looks from everyone. "Critics all of you. You wouldn't know a joke if it hit you all in the face." She grumbled.
Back with Naruto and the Tailed Beasts
Kurama sent his tails, looking to pierce him, but Naruto was able to parry his tails with his arms that were covered in earth, and saw him shoot flames from his mouth. He Spat out a wall of water that collided with the flames, but it was slowly overpowering it, forcing Naruto to push more chakra into it. With a yell, he was able to outlast it with steam covering the area. Naruto waited for the fox to do something.
Luke lightning, two blue flaming tails came at him as he jumped away from them to avoid getting skewered, but wasn't expecting Kokuo to show up instantly as she rammed him that sent him flying into a nearby wall that caused an explosion. When the dust settled, Naruto's whole body was now iron instead of his normal tan skin, but he could feel some discomfort.
Naruto slowly let go of the armor and got into a stance with his eyes narrowed and focused before he was in front of Kurama and punched him in the head, sending him skidding back, but got a grin on his face as the result and charged at his host and swung his tails at him. Naruto saw that coming and brought his hands up and sent an Almighty Push sending him back, not expecting the Rinnegan already as Kokuo and Matatabi were on him covering their brother.
Kokuo rushed in a charge as she started covering herself in steam and she disappeared with her speed being increased as Naruto caught her just in time as he winced from the heat and quickly covered his hands in water to help counter. He pushed her away and saw a giant blue fireball heading towards him, but wasn't fast enough as it exploded on impact.
Naruto walked out of the smoke with a wince having not been able to fully counter, but was able to avoid some of it in time. He brought his hands up and summoned a Universal Pull they were pulled towards him as he created two clones with each nodding as they each summoned a Rasengan, but it was growing in size until it was large enough and slammed them into each one, howling in pain, Kurama worked through the pain and tried sending one of his tails at the original, but it was blocked by a rod that he summoned and was sent flying back along with his sisters.
Naruto went through hand signs quickly to not give them a chance to recover as his body was covered in purple lightning.
Lightning Style: Purple Lightning Dragon!" Naruto shouted as the lightning that surrounded him formed a giant dragon that was the same size as them.
The dragon gave a roar before it flew towards the Biju and faster than he could react, it hit him in the face, eliciting smoke in the area. Kurama and Kokuo flung his tails in the form of fists trying to hit the blonde with said blonde having some difficulty managing the number of tails he's dodging at once.
Kokuo managed to catch one of his arms with one of her tails and flung him towards Matatabi who raised her giant paw and smashed him. He coughed out some blood from the hit as he went through several mountains. She wasn't done yet and inhaled before she breathed out blue flames that made their way towards the blonde who barely had time to react before the flames made contact.
When everything died down, they saw Naruto in a sphere of water, surprising them, but nodded at his quick thinking. It was cut short however when Naruto wasn't done yet despite feeling sore and hurt a little. He was about to go on the offensive when Kurama called out to him.
"That's enough for now, Naruto!" The nine tailed fox said, getting him to pout, but nodded, knowing it was probably for the best considering how much damage they did to the forest.
"He did great, you know, despite not using all of his skills and techniques he could've used to defeat us. I'm proud of him." Matatabi said with her sister agreeing and Kurama grunted.
"That's true and he'll only grow stronger from this. He really is our father's successor." Kokuo smiled at their host before they disappeared back into the seal after having talked to him about their assessment of the spar.
Linebreak
After Naruto had finished showering from his spar against them, he looked to see that it was almost time for combat class. He also wondered what Ozpin had wanted to talk to him about, but shrugged as he'd worry about it later.
He put on his school uniform and left while he decided to do some reading with a familiar orange book that he had started reading when he started doing it with Kuro and the others at the time. It took some time to convince him to give it a shot since it might be able to help him and who knew his Godfather would be right. Hey he might read them, but he would never act like a pervert or be one. Only for Kuro.
After making it to class, he could see that he was one of the last ones there and class seemed to be starting soon, so he took his seat next to Blake and Kuro.
"Hey girls, miss me?" Naruto grinned at the two who waved at him.
"That was something to see you in action against the most powerful beings I've ever seen. I'm a little jealous of it." Blake gave a cute pout that was adorable to Naruto and Kuro.
"Training my dear Blake. That's all there is to it." Naruto said, seeing a twitch in her eye as she gave a mock glare at him.
"That's not fair. Also I've been wondering about those clones I saw during the fight. They seemed similar yet something more than the ones I create." The Cat faunus said.
"They're Shadow Clones that are able to do everything I can do, but are weaker since all it takes is a hit and they're gone. I prefer other clones that are more durable in battle when I need to use one." He explained.
Blake stared at him for a moment until her lips twitched into another pout as she whined at how unfair that is which was amusing to both Shinobi.
"You're not too hurt though are you?" Kuro asked with worry.
"I'm fine. Nothing that couldn't be healed, but I damn I forgot how tough they are when they really want to be." Naruto said with a grunt that made them roll their eyes.
"Of course he can take on beings that can level cities with just their tails and he's complaining about how tough they are like it's another day." Kuro sarcastically said, getting a look of betrayal from him.
"Now you guys are just being mean to me." Naruto pouted as they giggled lightly with the others watching with amused looks that knew them while everyone else was confused when Glynda walked in with her usual stern look.
"Alright students, take your seats, we'll be starting now." Glynda told the students and quickly got to their seats, not wanting to anger her as she was scary when she was. Once she saw that everyone was in their seats, she nodded.
It was an hour later that we find Naruto and someone else in the arena. The person that Naruto was facing a pale white skinned teen having burnt-orange hair that is combed backward with a slight peak at the front and indigo eyes wearing a black shirt with red trimmings and black pants with a red belt tied around his waist having silver-gray armor with gold trim on feet to his knees, on the sides of his waists, arms, bisceps, and on his chest where the chest plate sports a bird with its wings outstretched with a black handled and gray mace with a red orb on the top surrounded by black blades in a shape of an orb on his right shoulder.
"Are you ready, loser?" Cardin asked, arrogantly with a smirk on his face that reminded Naruto too much of Sasuke at one point. He gained an idea and smirked which Kuro and the others saw and she facepalmed at what he was thinking of doing.
"What's wrong Kuro?" Pyrrha asked, seeing her leader's expression drawing the others' attention.
"Naruto's going to embarrass him and with something I've seen only his teacher Kakashi do." Kuro sighed as she looked back at her fiance.
"What's he going to do?" Ruby asked innocently, making Kuro snort at Team RWBY's innocent question.
"Just. Just watch." Kuro said in exasperation.
Naruto pushed chakra into a storage seal on his wrist as a book appeared, getting many questioning looks wondering what he was going to do with it, but face faulted when he started reading it.
"WHAT THE HELL?!" Weiss asked out loud, seeing him do something so unexpected and it was a little annoying, but she was interested in what he was trying to do since he didn't do things without a reason.
Glynda merely raised an eyebrow, but inwardly was smirking, having an idea of what he was doing and was looking forward to what he had in mind.
"What the hell are you doing loser?" Cardin asked, annoyed at see him pull out a book of all things.
"Isn't it obvious? I'm going to enjoy this book since I don't want to miss what happens in it." Naruto said uncaringly, flipping a page to prove his point as he giggled to add to it.
Cardin growled and rushed him immediately, wanting to prove to this punk that he should be taken seriously. He swung his mace downwards, but Naruto stepped to the side to avoid it, still not taking his eyes off the book, infuriating the guy even more.
Cardin tried the assault again and swung his mace down, but Naruto again just casually dodged it with ease. When Cardin tried the same thing again, Naruto stuck his foot out and tripped him, making him eat what was on the floor. This caused everyone to laugh at what was happening.
The man got up with a snarl on his face and looked absolutely livid at what was happening to him. He'd make the bastard pay for humiliating him like this.
"Take this seriously, will you?!" Cardin yelled his face red from anger.
Naruto looked up at him for a moment as if deciding if he should or not and shrugged his shoulders before going back to his book, not worried in the slightest.
This pissed him off since he just passed him off as nothing. He roared and rushed him again for a third time and swung his mace sideways, changing the trajectory of the attack and Naruto brought his knee up and blocked it. He swung again and was blocked by his knee. This continued for a sometime as he kept blocking with his knees and it was doing nothing for the guy as he was still being seen as nothing to him.
Cardin was gritting his teeth at what this nobody was doing while he looked bored and the worst part was…. HE WASN'T EVEN LOOKING AT HIM!
"D-damn you." Cardin gritted his teeth in annoyance.
Naruto saw him rush him once more and sighed at how foolish this guy was. Why in hell would do the same thing over and over again if it hadn't worked in any of his other attempts. He decided to end things or at least do something besides just dodge the whole. He closed his book and smashed his cheek with the back of it which sent him stumbling a little. He appeared behind him and smacked the back of his head with said book, sending him into the ground.
With a groan the man got up and tried the same thing again. Stupid is what he is, but Naruto blocked the mace with his book, but didn't move fast enough when his face met the end of Naruto's fist. The punch was enough to send him to the ground as he groaned from the hit.
"And that's the match!" Glynda called out, well a match if someone wanted to call it that. "Students, as you can see, Mr. Winchester's Aura has now dropped into the red. In a tournament-styled duel, this would indicate that Cardin is no longer fit for battle, and that the official may call the match." Glynda explained as the screen above them showed pictures of Cardin and Naruto's faces with bars under them with Cardin's bar small and red while Naruto's was full and green.
"That was entertaining to watch. He basically manhandled him with a book." Yang said, getting laughs from the classroom including Glynda whose lips twitched upwards for a second before she composed herself, before addressing Naruto.
"Nicely done Naruto. You kept your calm the entire time, despite what he said to you and even had him give in to his emotions which was his downfall." Glynda complimented before looking at Cardin. "You Mr. Winchester, you must learn to keep your emotions in check and not let your anger judge your actions. And please try to refer to your scroll during combat. Gauging your Aura will help you decide when it's appropriate to attack, or when it is better to move to a more... defensive strategy. It will lead you to mess up and be your downfall leaving you to be gobbled up by a Grimm." She said.
"Tch." Cardin scoffed, picking up his mace and walked off the stage.
"Remember, everyone, the Vytal Festival is only a few months away! It won't be long before students from the other kingdoms start arriving in Vale, so keep practicing! Those who choose to compete in the combat tournament will be representing all of Vale!" Glynda instructed everyone.
Yang is punching in the air in anticipation. Weiss' body was shaking with excitement; the same goes with Ruby. Blake simply smirked. Ren nodded his head smiling. Nora and Kuro jumped up and down pumping her fists up for the action. Pyrrha smirked, getting pumped up. And Naruto simply smirked, ready to see if anyone could give him a challenge..
The bell rang and everyone cleared out. As they were leaving Naruto met up with Kuro, Pyrrha, Nora, and Ren along with Ruby, Weiss, Blake, and Yang who were in their Huntresses and Hunters outfits.
Kuro gave him a kiss and had a grin on her face with others having gotten used to their affections, but some were a little jealous at the display wishing they could be in her place..
"That was fun to watch." Kuro said.
"I aim to please, but I'm excited for the Vytal festival. It'll give us a chance to showcase what we can do." Naruto said with the others agreeing.
"I can't wait! Team RWBY will kick butt that's for sure!" Ruby cheered with a grin on her face.
"Awww my sister is so confident and cute!" Yang cried out, hugging her sister who was looking embarrassed, wanting to be released.
"You showed him Naruto. What was that book that you were using?" Ren asked curiously that he got various reactions from the group. Most didn't have a clue and were wondering themselves while Blake's cheeks gained a pink flush, Yang and Kuro giggled pervertedly, and Naruto was not sure how to answer that.
"It's a romance book." Blake answered in his place that got Weiss, Pyrrha, and Ruby curious while Ren nodded in acceptance, but saw the blushes and the giggling was throwing him off, and Nora looked bored mostly since she never liked reading.
"I like romance books." Ruby said, not even more curious as she tried to snatch the book, but Naruto was faster and moved his hand away.
"Nope. When you're a little older you can Red." Ruby pouted at the answer, but accepted it.
Blake saw Pyrrha looking at the book in his hand and nudged her shoulder a little to get her attention which worked and gave hers.
"You'll like it. I know I do." Blake had a glint in her eye, hoping that another love of this particular literature would join her.
"Okay?" Pyrrha said confused, but was grateful for the book.
"It's about lunchtime, so let's go get something to eat, I'm starving." Yang said.
"Food!" Nora and Ruby shouted, dashing off with others to chuckle before following them.

"So! There we were, in the middle of the night..." Nora started.
"It was day." Ren corrected
Team RWBY, Naruto, and Team KNPR were sitting together at a table eating lunch with Nora entertaining her team and the others with a dream she claimed she had recently.
"We were surrounded by Ursai..." Nora said.
"They were Beowolves." Ren said in her usual deadpan voice and drank some coffee.
"Dozens of them!" Nora suddenly yelled out dramatically as she stood on the table.
"Two of 'em." Ren said.
Yang's face is excited while listening to the story, enjoying it. Blake wasn't paying attention very much to busy reading her book peacefully while trying not to giggle. Weiss was filing her nails. Naruto, Ruby, Kuro, and Pyrrha looked amused hearing Ren correct her dream.
"But they were no match... And in the end, Ren and I took them down and made a boatload of Lien selling Ursa skin rugs!" Nora said proudly as she raised a fist in the air.
"She's been having this recurring dream for nearly a month now." Ren said, sighing.
"I haven't seen anyone this hyper except for Lee and Guy when they'd go on about "youth" Naruto and Kuro both shuddered at the memories of when they'd somehow get so into it, that they'd cast a sunset Genjutsu that would make anything in Tsukiyomi look like a walk in the park.
"No need to remind me of that, the nightmares might come back after forgetting about it for so long." Kuro said with Naruto nodding.
"I'm glad that our teams are getting along like this though. It'll make going to Beacon that much better if we can get along with other teams like this." Pyrrha smiled with everyone nodding in agreement.
"I can't even imagine how things would've been for me if I didn't have Kuro talk to me and help me realize and change for the better." Weiss smiled at the other team leader who was leaning on Naruto's shoulder as a small glimpse of jealousy, wondering what it'd be like to be in her place appeared before squishing that thought down. It wouldn't do any good to get jealous over something when she knew that Naruto was taken. What she didn't see was Blake, Ruby, and Pyrrha were looking at Kuro the same way while Yang was wondering when she'd get her chance, after learning that Naruto can have a harem..
Suddenly the group heard laughter making them turn their heads to see Team CRNL standing around a girl with long brown hair with brown rabbit ears sticking out of her head showing she was a faunus as Cardin and his team/goons laughed and bothered her as one guy is holding up his hands to his head to mock her rabbit ears.
The girl has long brown hair with the rabbit ears of course with brown eyes, fair skin, and a small slender frame with a C-cup bust, and wearing the Beacon Academy female school uniform.
"Please stop!' They heard her plead and saw something that upsetted everyone, but downright pissed Naruto and Kuro off.
"Ugh what a pathetic waste, picking on her like that. It's disgusting and it's things like this that make humans so horrible." Naruto said, glaring at Team CDRL.
"He's nothing but a bully." Ruby huffed, crossing her arms.
"Not to mention he's been messing and insulting a lot of other students too." Ren frowned.
"Yeah, but it's getting to the point where I'm going to give him a serious injury as I'm tired of him doing this shit." Naruto growled as his eyes turned to slits for a second.
"Ooooh!" Nora suddenly said as she got up again with an insane and diabolical grin. "We'll break his legs!"
"Now that's my kind of plan!" Yang agreed, matching Nora's grin. "It'll make for some nice practice for the combat tournament!"
"I actually agree." Naruto nodded and matched the two girls' grins as well. "This would be a good practice for my Genjutsu." Naruto smirked as the girls giggled and Ren nodded and they fist bumped.
The laughter grew louder from Team CDRL followed by cries of pain.
"Ow! That hurts!" The bunny girl wailed as Cardin pulled on her rabbit ears. "Please stop!" She begged.
"I told you it was real!" Cardin laughed cruelly as he pulled harder.
"What a freak!" One of Cardin's teammates chucked with his fellow cronies.
"Atrocious. I can't stand people like him." Pyrrha said as she glared at the scene while Yang cracked her knuckles loudly.
"He's not the only one..." Blake said as she glared daggers at Cardin as unpleasant memories surfaced.
Naruto got up from his seat and headed towards the group of jackasses. And he was going to make it hurt.
"That's enough out of you Cardin." Naruto said, approaching them, getting their attention.
"Oh and why should I? She's a freak after all, right?" Cardin asked his teammates.
"She sure is." Sky grinned.
"Definitiley." Russel agreed with them.
"The only freak I see here is you, continuously picking on students, especially Faunus. I'm not sure what's more pathetic, you ganging up on someone or you attempting to look "cool" to everyone when you're just a waste of space." Naruto glared at him.
"What, how dare you?!" Cardin gritted his teeth and tried to pull on her ears harder, but in the girl's place was an apple and the girl was sitting by Kuro, looking shocked at what happened. "What?!" He asked, looking around confused.
"Now she's out of harm's way." Naruto punched Cardin in the jaw that sent him crashing into the wall that cracked the wall on impact.
"Cardin!" The other three yelled as they went to get their leader up as they got him to his feet.
"You're dead Uzumaki! You and me tomorrow in the arena. I'll show you." Cardin said, walking away while he held his jaw.
"I'll do you one better, bring your whole team to fight me. I'll gladly put all of you in your place." Naruto said, before putting a little killer intent on them that stopped them in their tracks. "And believe me, you'll wish you hadn't been born." Naruto said with a straight face as he released the intent and the four left to go get the match set. Naruto grinned and walked back to his table, who all looked pleased and some were smirking while the girl looked grateful, but also had a small blush.
"Hey bunny girl, are you doing better now?" Naruto asked gently, wanting to make sure she was okay.
She nodded and had a small smile on her face."Yes, I'm okay, thank you for your help, but you shouldn't have gotten in the middle of it. I'm used to it whenever my team isn't around." The girl said sadly, angering everyone else at the bullying she deals with.
"That's not right. You shouldn't be bullied for something that wasn't your fault, especially when you haven't done anything wrong." Ruby said passionately, making the rabbit faunus smile at them.
"Thank you again for helping me. I'm Velvet Scarlatina, a second year student and member of Team CFVY." Velvet said in excitement regarding her team.
"It's nice to meet you, Velvet. I'm Kurotsuchi, leader of Team KNPR and this is Pyrrha Nikkos, Nora Valkyrie, and Lie Ren. We're first years.." Kuro introduced herself and her team who all nodded with Nora waving at her excitedly.
"I'm Ruby Rose, Leader of Team RWBY and a first year." Ruby gave her a wide smile at making a new friend.
"Yang Xiao Long." She grinned at her with a thumbs up.
"I'm Weiss Schnee." She said with a smile, but frowned seeing her flinch. "Please don't think I'm like my father. I'll never be anything like him, so you don't have to worry about that." She bowed her head, easing the girl, making the others smile knowing she's really improving and being nothing like that man.
"Blake Belladonna, a pleasure." Blake nodded to her, which she returned shyly.
"And I'm Naruto Senju Uzumaki, a first year student as well and I'm on my own team. It's a shame that anyone would want to hurt your ears. They're really cute and make you look even cuter." Naruto said, making her blush further.
'He thinks their cute?! Peon!' She thought. "T-thank you, but aren't you worried about fighting all four of them at once?" Velvet asked, seeing them smirk, confused her.
"Nah, it'll be easy since they're not very bright or that strong. Trust me, he'll make quick work of them." Yang smirked and grew when Naruto gave a thumbs up.
Velvet would've said something else, but her scroll went off. She checked to see who it was and saw it was her team.
"I'm sorry, but I need to get going and meet with my team. It was nice meeting all of you. I'll see you later." Velvet said, heading out as she waved at them.
"She's really nice. It's sad that people like her get picked on." Weiss frowned sadly at their new friend and any other Faunus that got picked on.
"It's people like Cardin I can't stand." Blake growled as her bow twitched, with Naruto noticing it.
"I've been meaning to ask Blake, can I talk to you for a little bit, it's something important." Naruto said, getting Blake to look at him with a raised eyebrow, but nodded.
"Sure. I'll see you guys later back at the dorms." Blake said as she walked off with Naruto beside her with everyone else looking at them confused, but shrugged and went back to talking and eating.
The pair made their way towards the courtyard where some trees were that looked like a relaxing place to talk where no one would bother them.
"So what is it that you wanted to talk to me about?" She asked, wondering what he wanted to talk to her about.
"Why do you hide them?" Naruto bluntly asked, getting her to stiffen and gave him a curious look.
"What do you mean?" Blake asked, hoping he didn't know and became worried.
"Your ears Blake.." Naruto grinned at her humorously, but she glared at him before sighing.
"How'd you know?" She asked knowing she was caught.
"Well for one bows don't twitch and two I could smell the scent of a cat coming from you and the Tailed Beasts confirmed it when we first met." He said, getting her to nod at the logic.
"But now you're wondering why, right?" She asked, getting a nod in confirmation."It's complicated, but I'm wanting people to get to know me for who I am and not for what I am." Blake sighed sadly with Naruto knowing exactly how she felt.
"I know how that feels, but it's a part of you Blake and you're not only lying to your teammates, but you're lying to yourself." Naruto said, with Blake looking at him with a questioning look.
"What do you mean?" She asked.
"Remember how I told you about me being a Jinchuriki?" He asked, when she nodded slowly. "I wasn't always proud of being one when I was a kid, but It's something that is a part of me, yet it's something that I'm proud of now. The reason being is I wasn't just seen as a weapon by everyone, but as Kurama himself." He said sadly, confusing her more.
"Kurama? Why?" She asked, having a feeling she wouldn't like the answer.
"On the night of my birth, a masked man kidnapped my mother who was the previous host for him, unleashed and put him under an illusion to attack the village. To stop him from destroying it, my dad sealed him into me and because of the damage and how many people died during his rampage, many saw me as him instead of myself so, they would do anything they could to make my life a living hell, but at the time I had no idea why that was until I learned everything when I was 8." She gasped at him being treated in such a way that made her grit her teeth.
"Why tell me this though?" She was confused on what the point was.
"Because, despite all the hardships I faced because of being a Jinchuriki. I wouldn't have it any other way and can be proud of what I am. You shouldn't be afraid to be seen as a Faunus." He said, she looked down, not sure what to do or say.
"But I'm not as strong as you who doesn't care what others think." She told him, while he hummed at her words.
"Well who's to say you have to be alone with this?" He asked, surprising her. "You're not alone Blake. Your friends would understand once you explained everything to them." He said, making her smile a little at his words.
"When I do tell them, could you be there with me?" She asked, her amber eyes shine more which made them look that much beautiful.
"Sure. I'll be there. You're my friend after all Blake, so you don't have to ask." She sighed in relief and decided to be a little bold and hugged him with a real smile.
"T-thank you." She mumbled as she leaned into him and took a whiff of his scent and she loved it.
"Why were you so nervous about being seen as a Faunus if that was it?" He asked which she sighed and pulled away to look at him.
"Do you know of the White Fang?" She asked, a little hesitantly.
"Yeah of course, they're an Equal Faunus Rights group that your father started." He smiled in memory of when he met the two Belladonna parents
"You know my father, but how and when?" She asked, confusion and shock on her face.
"I know both of your parents actually. You look a lot like your mother after all, but I only met them once, but yes I do know them. It was when I was traveling eight years ago when I came across Menagerie where I ended up, learning it was a Faunus village. I ended up helping your mom carry groceries when she had more than she could handle. You would've been 8-9 years old at the time if I'm thinking correctly, which reminds me how are they? How has he been managing the White Fang?" He asked, but saw her grow sad when he mentioned the White Fang which made him nervous. Did something happen to him?.
Blake's bow twitched as she became sad at how much the group had changed and saw the concerned look Naruto was showing which made her a little happy knowing how much it mattered to him. Now that she thought about it, how did she not meet him until now if he was this invested in it?
"My father stepped down 5 years ago and when a new leader came into power, the tactics changed from peaceful protesting rally's to fear tactics and planned attacks to stores that refused to serve us, various Schnee trains that carried dust. I was a part of it until a few months ago." She said, looking down in shame for what they had turned into.
"What?" He whispered, hoping he didn't hear what he was just told, but the look on the ravenette's face told him everything. "Oh no. Doing these tactics won't get the same results that they're hoping for. It'll only prove those that thought of the Faunus as nothing, but rabid animals are right. Not only that, but it'll make the lives of every Faunus that doesn't approve of the current White Fang's actions much harder. Not every Faunus will agree and want to be violent. Dumbasses all of them." He inhaled after his rant was finished, noticing that she wasn't saying anything and was about to ask when she heard some sniffling from her instead and saw tears in her eyes and instantly felt bad since she had been with the group her whole life. She left and hearing all the bad things that they're doing now must've been too much. He looked at her with concern when she saw this and hugged him again and let loose the tears while he just held her and let her get her pent up emotions out.
After a few minutes of crying, she pulled away with a heavy blush and was embarrassed at what she did and looked away.
"And because of your past with them, you're worried about how they'd take it huh?" She nodded in affirmative and waited for him to do the same thing, but she got a poke in her forehead, making her look at him and was confused when she saw him smiling at her.
"You're not with them anymore, right? Which means you realized what they're doing is wrong and that right there is all I need to know and I know that your teammates would understand." She looked at him with wide eyes, not expecting that kind of response, but she relaxed in her posture and laid her head on his shoulder and let out a content sigh.
"T-thank you." She whispered and he gave a slight nod that he heard her as they sat there enjoying the unconsciously leaned on his shoulder enjoying the warmth that he gave out and knew that she was safe with him and could really start to be happy.
"And to answer your question, I haven't spoken with them in a long time, so I don't know how they're doing." Blake said with a guilty expression.
"You should give them a call then. I'm sure they'd be happy to hear from you." Naruto said.
"But it's been so long? Just calling out of the blue would be weird, right?" Blake asked hesitantly.
"I wouldn't think so. I'm sure they've been worried about you and would love to hear from you, knowing you're safe. I can be there if that would help?" Naruto offered, but she shook her head with a small smile.
"I appreciate it, but I think that would be something I need to do on my own, but I think I could use your support when I tell my team about being Faunus and my prior association with the White Fang." Blake said with Naruto smiling and nodding as he pulled a little closer, making her blush, but had a content smile on her face as she snuggled a little more.
What neither noticed was that there were a few people who were watching them from afar with smiles on their faces and others were giggling.
"Hehe. She decided to get some alone time with him huh? I'm a little jealous of her." Yang said with a pout and smirk, but also happy her partner could get whatever it was off her chest since something must've been bothering her.
"I'm still not sure if we should be spying on them like this. It seems like we're intruding on their personal space, especially if it was something personal.." Pyrrha noted with some concern with Ruby nodding reluctantly.
"Oh relax, It's not like we're eavesdropping on them. We're just showing some concern for our friends and checking on them is all." Weiss retorted, but you could see her eyes narrowing at the two.
"She'll make an amazing girl for him if Naruto becomes interested in her, oh I'm hoping they get closer and the same goes for you girls that are here too." Kuro said to the group with a grin with everyone minus Yang were shocked.
"What?!" Weiss shouted with a giant blush at hearing this. "Don't say something so absurd! Aren't the two of you engaged anyway?" Weiss asked.
"Yes we are, but he's also the last of two clans and he'll need help in bringing them back." Kuro said with the same grin on her face as if it were ordinary.
"Wait, so you want him to have multiple partners, why?" Pyrrha asked, confused while having a blush on her face that matched her hair.
"Besides from the clan extinction bit, he deserves to have all the happiness after everything he's been through when he was in Konoha." Kuro said, having their attention. "I'll tell you about it later when we won't have any listeners out here, but I have another reason for him to have others. That and I'm bi as well, so this is also something I want too." She said, making them face-fault at her words.
"What's bi?" Ruby asked innocently.
"Nothing. Don't worry about it. I'll tell you when you're older!" Yang panicked quickly and gave Kuro a small glare who gave her a sheepish grin. Ruby gave Yang a pout at wanting to know, but nodded. They took one last look at them before everyone left to go back to their dorms.
Blake had just realized she had been hugging him and being so close to him, made her blush at how close they were.
"I'm sorry." Blake apologized rather embarrassed about what had happened, but he gave her a small smile.
"You don't have to apologize at all. I understand how hard it was to hear it. Do you need anything for you?" Naruto asked gently as she looked at him, but she shook her head. He was always wanting to help his friends and those he cared about. It's something that she respected and liked about the blonde Shinobi. It was something that drew her and the others in towards him.
"No, but you can tell me more about the clones you can create." She said with a glint in her eye as he chuckled and nodded.

Naruto was now in his dorm with Kuro eating dinner together as it was a daily thing they did together. After finishing talking to Blake who felt a sense of relief from opening up to someone and who could understand her and even knew her parents, he took her to her dorm and got a quick hug and thank you before entering. Naruto and Kuro were currently talking about something very serious.
"Have you been able to pinpoint where the energy you've sensed is coming from?" Kuro asked while she ate.
"I think I have. It seems to be coming from below us that there shouldn't be anything there except maybe a basement." Naruto said, confusion written on his face was one that worried her.
"What should we do then? If that's the case then maybe we should ask Professor Ozpin about it?" She asked.
He looked up at her with contemplation as he hummed, throwing the idea around in his head.
"Maybe. He would probably know what's going on, but there's something else that's bothering me about this energy? It feels familiar and yet not complete at the same time." He said with some confusion, but also wondering why it feels that way.
"Could it be someone that you've met before when you came here? What does the energy feel like?" She asked, hoping to get to the bottom of this.
"It feels like a flame was lit, but it's been dampened or separated so to speak." Naruto said.
"Strange. Is there anyone that has that kind of energy that you remember meeting?" She asked, pushing it.
He had fingers massaging his temples as if nursing a headache while he thought about it. It was right there and he knew it. A person that had a flame energy to her aura. Not many people had that and if Naruto remembered correctly only one person in particular felt that way. It suddenly clicked to him and suddenly stood up on his feet and started pacing back and forth in worry. Kuro saw this and quickly became concerned for him, thinking that he might've figured it out. She stood up as well and grabbed his hand as he looked at her.
"Naru, what's wrong?" She asked as she held his hand and gave him a reassuring squeeze.
"Amber. Amber was the only one who had that feeling and there's a reason why that is. She's the Fall Maiden. I met her when I was 13, a few months before I went back to the Elemental Nations. I had met her during my travels where we met with Ozpin who explained everything to us, including her being one of the four maidens, the Fall one in this case. I wonder why it feels so different though? Something must've happened to her and I need to find out." He said with concern and determination.
"It's late though now. We'll have to wait until tomorrow to get any answers from him or Miss Goodwitch. After classes we can speak with them privately. If you're in the nohow already, then it would stand to reason that they'd tell me a few things too." She said, getting him to sigh and nod knowing she was right as usual.
"Alright, we'll speak with them tomorrow after classes." Naruto said, with Kuro nodding in agreement to their plan.
"And in the meantime, you can tell me all about your little talk with Blake. You two seemed to be getting close~." Kuro purred as she gave a slight grin.
Naruto's face blushed at her teasing knowing how close they were.
"I was only helping her. Sure, she's quite beautiful and nice, but we're just friends." He retorted, but didn't do anything except make her grin grow.
"Beautiful and nice huh? Sounds like someone's gaining something. I approve of her Naruto." She said, that made Naruto sigh and facepalm, but couldn't help the small blush at her words of not only approving of Blake, but also how nice it was being with her.
Next Day
Naruto was in his dorm working on some lunch while having gotten out of class early today. He had his mock match with Cardin and his team in two hours, so he had time to prepare some food. He was wearing a gray shirt with the Uzumaki crest on the back in orange while he wore dark blue jeans with a pink apron on when he heard someone knocking on his door. He opened it and saw it was Ruby which was a nice surprise.
"Hey Rubes, what's up?" He asked.
"Can I come in? I want to ask you something." Ruby said, noticing the apron and giggling a little. " I like the apron, it suits you." She said, getting a raised eyebrow and smirked with pride and moved to the side and let her in.
Ruby sat down at the couch and looked nervous for some reason, something that Naruto noticed with her fidgeting.
"Want something to eat before we talk? I have some eggs, bacon, hash browns, and french toast I was about to finish making." Naruto listed off.
She was about to say no that she was fine when her stomach decided now was a good time to make itself known, causing her to blush in embarrassment, especially when he gave her a teasing grin. She accepted the offer and the food was amazing in her opinion. She might come by more often for the food if everything was always this good. Twenty minutes later after eating and clearing the table. They were now sitting on the couch sitting by each other with Ruby having a small blush and was internally gushing at being so close to the one who she held feelings for.
"So what did you want to ask me?" He asked.
"Well, I was wondering if you wouldn't mind teaching me hand to hand combat?" She asked.
Now this surprised him as she didn't think she'd ask something like this, not out of pride, but because she had never shown an interest in it. So, now he wondered what changed her mind.
"Why, if I may ask?" He asked, curious, more than anything.
"...I don't want to rely on only my weapon. If I have a time where I'll be without it, I want to be able to defend myself still. I know that without it, I'm not that great, so I thought if you could train me." She said.
"Why me and not Yang? She is your sister after all and would no doubt help you." He pointed out. It's not like he was going to say no, but he wanted to know all the reasons why she chose him.
"Well, I don't want to fight like her. I want to be able to fight differently from her and I know she wouldn't want to hurt me, so she wouldn't push me as much." She told him who hummed at her words. She made some good points. Yang may be reckless and love to go nuts in a fight, but when it comes to Ruby, she isn't like that and tends to worry about her. He could understand why she asked him, so with his mind made him.
"Sure. I wouldn't mind training you. Know that it won't be easy with me. I'll push you hard, you'll be in pain, and it'll be like nothing you've ever done before. But you'll do a lot and will be able to take on most of the students here." He said seriously one that she took to heart and nodded before she jumped at him with a hug.
"Oh thank you, thank you, thank you." She said over and over again, making him laugh. She let go and blushed, but she felt better when he smiled at her.
"Because tomorrow is Saturday, I want you to be ready by 7 and we'll be using one of the training arenas. I'll have a plan on what we'll be doing, so be ready, okay?" He said, with her nodding and headed for the door.
"Thanks again Naruto, I really appreciate this." She said with a grateful smile, but he waved her off with a smirk.
"You can thank me, by working hard and that'll be all the thanks I need." He said, with that said, she left with a skip in her step with Naruto chuckling seeing this and closed the door.
Ruby opened the door with the biggest smile on her face, one that all of her teammates noticed considering who their leader is.
"What's got you so happy this morning?" Weiss asked with curiosity seeing her team leader seem so chipper in the morning, well more so that is.
She blushed at this, knowing that she was caught. She wanted to keep it a secret, but she was too excited to wait.
"Oh, um, I just got done talking with Naruto and he's going to be teaching me how to fight in hand to hand." Ruby said with a nervous smile when she saw the teasing grin that her sister was known for which made her a little nervous.
"Oh so my little sister wants some time alone with Naruto too huh~ I see what you're doing sis." Yang said with a teasing grin that made Ruby's blush return even more so where her face matched her cloak, while no one noticed Weiss and Blakes eyes twitching in irritation and slight jealousy.
"I-It's not like that Yang! He's just helping me improve myself." Ruby whined while also nervously running her hands over her skirt.
"I'd like to see what he plans to teach you, as your teammate and partners, it's my duty to make sure he doesn't do anything." Weiss said, pumping her fist in the air as the others looked at her with Yang snickering, Blake was giving her a deadpanning stare while also narrowing her eyes, and Ruby wasn't paying attention anymore trying to get her blush under control hearing what her partner said had some blood leak down her nose.
"Well I'm curious to see how he'll be training you. I'd like to see what he has in mind." Blake added her own thoughts, wondering how her friend would teach her team leader.
"YES! This'll be fun!" Yang was excited and this could give her more teasing material to work with, much to Ruby's horror.
"No! Naruto won't do anything like that Weiss, he's not like that!" Ruby pointed an accusing finger at her.
"Did he say when you're supposed to be meeting with him?" Blake asked.
Ruby opened her mouth to answer, but shut it and smirked at her with a knowing look, one that they all saw and they each raised their eyebrows with Blake and Weiss's eyes twitching as Blake went back to her book without a word, Weiss looked away with a scoff but would want to be there. Maybe Blake could also train with him? She would need to ask him sometime.
"Isn't Naruto going to be facing Cardin and his team later today?" Weiss asked, getting a nod from the team leader.
"Yep." Ruby said, popping the p at the end with a grin, one that Yang replicated.
"Is it a good idea for him to fight them by himself? I mean it'll be 4 on 1 after all." Blake said with concern in her voice.
Ruby and Yang looked at her before looking at each other and busted up laughing hard at her question.
"Naruto has this in the bag! This will be almost too easy for him." Yang managed to get out as she continued laughing with Ruby leaning on her sister so she wouldn't fall.
"Of course he does, after all we saw him fight the Biju and we know how strong they are. This'll be a piece of cake for him." Ruby added as she also laughed at Cardin beating her crush.
"That's true. I'm looking forward to seeing the arrogant asshole get what's coming to him." Blake growled, getting shocked looks from her team at her words, not having heard her swear before.
"Wow." They said.
Blake blushed as she realized what she said and was now feeling embarrassment having the attention on her now.
"We should finish getting ready since it won't be much longer until it starts." Blake said still with a small blush.
"Yeah, I want to see how he handles them." Weiss said, getting nods from Ruby and Yang as they worked on their homework, despite not wanting to do it.

Two hours had gone by and Naruto is in the arena with no weapons on hand. Team CDNL was there looking as smug as ever with their weapons in hand, despite having Cardin's ass been handed to him in the spars in class they had. It was sad seeing them acting like this, not realizing they were about to get a wake up call.
Up in the stands, you could see a lot of people were there with many having heard about this and wanted to see how it would go. Team RWBY and KNPR weren't worried in the slightest and were confident in their friend/fiance to handle them with ease. Weiss had a small grin on her face, looking forward to this. Blake had a small flag with the Uzumaki clan symbol on it, Naruto didn't know where she got it, but was glad for the support. Ruby, Yang, Nora, Kuro, and Pyrrha were cheering him on louder than others, looking forward to the beatdown that was about to happen. Ren gave him a simple nod to show his support which he nodded back in thanks.
He could see Velvet was there and she gave him a small smile, but was also worried for him to take on a full team by himself. She was happy that he had stood up for her and would hope that he would be okay. Naruto looked at her teammates and saw they looked like they could hold themselves in a fight.
The first one was a young woman having short dark brown hair with wavy locks on the right side of her face dyed with a gradient that started from dark brown and transitions to caramel wearing a darker brown beret on her head with her eyes covered with sunglasses, a fair complexion, a slender figure with C-cup breasts wearing the female Beacon Academy school uniform and carrying a dark handbag with studs in her right hand.
The second one was a young man with messy copper hair that has a long fringe and a cowlick with completely white eyes meaning he's possibly blind, a dark tan complexion, an average build with a bit of muscle, and wearing a male Beacon Academy school uniform along with bronze-colored bladed tonfa gauntlets.
The third and last one was a tall young man with shaved-short black hair with black eyes, slightly tanned skin, an athletic build, and wearing the male Beacon Academy school uniform, along with a two-handed gigantic great sword sheathed on his back.
"So this guy who you gushed about. Is he strong?" The leader Coco asked with a smirk as Velvet looked concerned.
"I am not sure but he seemed very confident, so I think he will win and he also somehow was able to switch places where I was with an apple, getting me away from them." Velvet said as Coco leaned in close making the young Faunus eep.
"Oh? You seem to be smitten with him? I mean he is as good looking as you made him out to be. I think I'll have to get to know him better as well.`` Coco teased as her two male teammates raised an eyebrow.
"Coco! He isn't some kind of pet that you can just take home with you!" Velvet chastised as Coco kept her grin up not bothered by what her friend said.
Glynda Goodwitch's stern face appeared on the monitor, getting everyone's attention.
"This match which was agreed by both parties should commence momentarily. The standard rules will apply. No death will be permitted at any point. The aura gauges shown above will essential health of the teacher. When it reaches red that student is eliminated no questions asked. The match will continue until either team loses all of its members to either having their auras drained to the red or being knocked unconscious." Goodwitch explained.
The screen showed Naruto Uzumaki on one side with a healthy green bar underneath while the other side showed the members of Team CRDL with an aura gauge underneath each of their names.
"However, I can choose to end the fight on my own if it appears that one side is clearly incapable of winning. Once I announce a ruling it will be followed. If anyone disobeys there will be consequences." Goodwitch warned as she stared in particular to Cardin who gulped.
"Does everyone understand?" Goodwitch asked.
"Yes, professor!" everyone chanted as she nodded.
"Very well the match may begin. Now!" Goodwitch announced as her avatar on screen disappeared.
"Get that Loser!" Cardin yelled to Sky
Sky yelled and charged at Naruto who still did draw a weapon out but looked neutral. Sky swung his Ax at Naruto who drily stepped back a few feet making the Axe miss it mark. This made Sky even more mad as he kept swinging at Naruto who barely put any effort into dodging his wide swings.
Naruto looked at the corner of his eye to see Dove point his Sword at him. Dove began to fire rapid shots at Naruto who noticed.
Before Sky could react he stepped inside Sky's guard and sent a fast punch into his gut making him gasp in pain, followed by a knee to his face.
As Sky grunted, Naruto spun around with his kunai in hand and deflected each blast which went towards Sky further making him grunt in pain, not having a chance to recover.
It was Russel who tried to use his teammates as distractions to attack with his daggers when Naruto wasn't looking but instead Naruto easily parried the attacks and elbowed him in the chest.
"You fools! Get him!" Cardin commanded as he finally joined in the fight as him and Russel tried to tag team Naruto who still easily parried their combined attacks without even a change in expression.
Meanwhile everyone in the stands was shell-shocked at how well Naruto was doing with a small weapon, but Teams RWBY and KNPR were not as shocked. Glynda was neutral, but internally she was impressed and laughing at the match and how he was dominating them with ease. .
As Russel daggers continued to miss as Naruto bobbed and weaved out of the swings and avoided the swings for Cardin's Mace. Naruto could see in the corner of his eyes that Sky and Dove were getting up.
After avoiding Russel daggers Naruto sidestepped Cardin's Mace and grabbed the flail by the chain. This surprised Cardin as he used the chain to pull Cardin in towards Naruto elbow in the chest making him gasp as he was sent flying.
Russel shouted in outrage but soon Naruto ducked down from his swing and then he twisted his own body to send two kicks at his wrists making him lose control of his daggers.
Naruto then took the opportunity to send another hard kick at the weaponless Russell with a mighty kick sending him flying into Dove and Sky who just got up. The three teammates grunted as they were in a clump once again.
Naruto then spun around guarding against Cardin mace once again while he threw the kunai into Sky's chest making him gasp and collapse.
Sky's aura gauge then turned from partly green into red as an alarm went off.
"Sky Lark aura has been reduced to red. He has been eliminated." Glynda announced as Sky put his head down and walked out of the arena in shame.
"Geez he already took down one of them to the red!" A random student said in surprise.
"And Naruto's aura has not gone down in the slightest!" Pyrrha noted as they looked at the aura gauges. Naruto was still at a perfect 100, Russel was about 50%, Cardin was about 75% and Dove was at 40%.
Naruto was using the kunai that he picked back up to fend off Cardin with ease as the leader got more and more frustrated his team was not wearing Naruto down at all while Naruto kept a cool expression on his face.
After Naruto continued to fend off Cardin he leapt over his swing and sent a punch making Cardin grunt as he was sent flying. While Cardin was in mid air Naruto sent the kunai after him as the kunai managed to pin both of his wrists to the wall by hooking through his sleeves.
"Dammit! What is this guy's power? This should be an easy win for us!" Cardin yelled in frustration as he was appalled at how he was losing to this freak.
Meanwhile Russel and Dove grunted but got back onto their feet trying to overwhelm Naruto on a two on one.
Russell had managed to pick up one of his daggers which he swung rapidly at Naruto while Dove's short sword kept thrusting at Naruto. Naruto dodged with no effort until he saw Dove overextend with thrust which Naruto smirked at.
Naruto took the opportunity to grab Dove wrist and clench it making him gasp as even with an aura it felt close to breaking this made him drop his sword as Naruto pivoted and pushed Dove into the path of Russel swing.
Dove shouted as he took Russel's attack while Naruto then turned the table and sent a punch at Russel making him flinch. He then sent several kicks and punches at the two who were unable to block Naruto's far superior hand to hand combat. He then took them by the wrist with one hand each and swung them into the wall as they gasped and slumped over.
"Both Russel Thrush and Dove Bronzewing's auras have dropped to the red. They have both been eliminated!" Glynda announced as of now it was Naruto 100% aura vs Cardin whose aura had dropped to 60%.
Meanwhile Cardin had managed to free himself by ripping his jacket off with a growl.
"Fine! I will deal with you myself, then I can get that woman you've been with as my own and the others that should be mine." Cardin hissed and looked at Kuro and the others of RWBY and KNPR with a perverted grin. She along with the others glared at him at the insinuation.
Suddenly KI was filled in the room as it grew heavy with people seeing a dark blue aura surround Naruto as Cardin was having trouble breathing as it was mainly focused on him while the others could feel it, it wasn't as severe as before. Several people however weren't in fear or nervous from it, but were finding themselves feeling wet and aroused instead.
Naruto's expression went from cool to cold instantly at the man now for his words against his fiance and friends. Naruto brought out another tri-pronged kunai as he was going to make this guy learn what it means to disrespect the ones he cared about.
He disappeared from his spot and the next thing that Cardin felt was a fist to the left cheek sending him to the wall, but he wasn't done yet and appeared in front of him and sliced his wrist with wind chakra that went through most of his aura and forced him to drop his mace. Not another second later, Cardin was kicked in the ribs that sent him crashing into the wall.
Naruto threw one of the kunai and did a single hand sign that Kuro recognized and was surprised, but smirked when they were all about to see a beatdown.
"Kunai Shadow Clone Jutsu!"
The next thing everyone saw was the one kunai changed to around 30 that were spread out in the arena with everyone else wondering, but Kuro what's he doing when the next moment everyone only saw a black flash going around the room and Cardin was being sent all around as a pinball, being knocked around when they saw Naruto appear above him and brought his hands up together and gave one final hit that sent him crashing into the floor as the kunai disappeared in smoke that gave a crater from the impact.
Everyone watched as he didn't get up and looked at Naruto who still had that same cold expression on his face. He simply picked up his kunai and put them away in a seal on his wrist. Glynda was the first one to come out of her shock.
"Cardin Winchester has fallen into the red with his aura gauge. He has been eliminated! All members of Team CRDL have been eliminated. Naruto Senju Uzumaki has won the bout with an untouched aura!" Glynda announced as she and everyone else focused on Naruto who stood over the fallen Cardin.
