Love is a Hurricane
I'm heir to the most powerful seat in the mighty Japanese empire but even we need allies so in a bid to stave off a world war my father made an alliance with the British empire. When the alliance was first formed, I was but a child visiting a foreign land and while old men sat around and discussed politics what was a child to do but to explore a nation unseen before and make some friends along the way.
Prelude
It was a hot summers day; the royal entourage had been gathered at the Westminster to meet with King & Queen of England along with parliamentary representatives. While the men were at the castle the Women and the other vassals were in Mayfair being hosted by Lady Danbury.
As their horse drawn carriage pulled up to an estate home the visitors notice they were greeted by men in what looked to be powder wigs.
A young boy had just hopped out his carriage and stretched as he eyed the men in red and an older black lady with a cane make her way towards them.
"They look funny" the boy muttered in his native tongue.
"Hush boy! Its rude to insult others beneath your station it is unbecoming of you Uzumaki-Sama."
The young red head rolled his eyes at his father's right hand and most loyal vassal Nebara Jozen "Your no fun old man."
"Old man?! How dare you gaki." Jozen would continue but a quiet sound off feet shuffling caused the older man to stop mid-sentence and to turn and bow to his Lords wife.
"Enough you two we are in front of company."
"Hai Kushina-Sama." Jozen answered instantly and loudly before moving away from the two blood relatives.
"Now then straighten yourself up we have on us even in these forsaken lands."
"Hai, hai Oka-sama," the boy responded with a roll of his eyes before the two towards their host.
Lady Danbury was not sure to expect when she received word that she would be entertaining foreign dignitaries while they visited and experienced their first season whilst some kind of negotiations are being put in place. The foreigners came in strange attire, different from what a lot of Lords and Ladies would be expected to wear in Britain.
The women somehow came across a quiet and demure apart from woman with long vibrant red hair who stood next to her with just as vibrantly red shade of hair.
The looked like he could be no older than 11 to 12 summers of age and before anymore thoughts could pass through Lady Danbury's mind the two turned on the spot to face her directly.
"Greetings Lady Danbury." Kushina spoke up first speaking in almost fluent English.
"Greetings Lady Kushina, I welcome you to my humble home. I hope the journey wasn't too hard on you and your family." Danbury responded in kind before she faced the young boy by the Kushina's side. "Who is this may I ask?"
Kushina glanced to her son before speaking in their native tongue.
"Introduce yourself," Kushina said while she glanced at the estate behind them.
"Konichiwa, Dabiri-sama." "In English, dattebane."
"My apologies," the boy snickered but cowered at his mother's glare for laughing at her verbal tick. "Hello Danbiri-Sama. My name is Uzumaki Naruto." The young boy said in a much thicker accent than his mothers his vibrant violet like eyes showed an unfamiliar determination even though he pronounced his host's name wrong.
"Pardon me but your English? And Uzumaki?"
"A member of my husband's court, our Maritime Admiral is the son of a former British Citizen, a privateer who washed upon our shores many years before my husband was made Shogun, he is the man along with some members of the church assist with teaching us the language. And yes, this boy is heir to the throne." Kushina quickly answered seeing the realisation cross their hosts face.
"Well, Master Naruto may I ask how old you are?"
The boy looked confused for a second before his eyes almost brighten at realising her request.
"I am one and zero," the boy answered with a bow.
"Such a sweet age, and welcome to my home, and my footmen will assist with your aids in unloading your things while we have some refreshments."
The two women began to walk at a similar place to back towards the house. Naruto didn't move for a couple of seconds still taking in his surroundings, the lush greens the blue skies, fertile soil even the moisture in the air.
'Not as humid as it is back home and even their architecture was different all buildings seemed to solid foundations.' The heir thought to himself before muttering. "It's like they don't fear jihibiki, tsunami or yama kaji."
Quickly snapping out of his awe he decided to readjust his kimono before stepping after his mother and host.
A Couple Days Later
While the adults did adult things being the only child on the entire estate in between his English lessons the boy was growing bored.
"Taikutsu, taikutsu taikutsu," Naruto muttered to himself found himself about to wonder around the inside of the estate.
'Wait mother is out hunting dresses with Lady Danbury, which means.' "Freedom," the boy shouted in English ignore the looks he was getting from the staff he quickly ran towards the rear of the massive gardens towards the woods.
As the heir made it towards the treeline one of the maids saw him before rushing after the head butler.
Around fifteen minutes had passed before the sound of children laughing began to reach his ears.
'That sounds like.' Naruto thought as he rushed towards the source of the noise pushing through bushes and branches the young heir came to the scene of a young girl covered in mud and dirty in a once yellow dress with many floral adornments crying her eyes out.
'That is a lot going on there.' Naruto thought as he took a step, the sudden ruffle of leaves caused the crying girl to halt her tears as she gasped in fear being found in such a position, her mother was going to kill her.
"Yare, yare," the started in his native tongue before quickly changing into English. "Do not worry. Are you ok?" he questioned slowly and clearly as he made his way over towards his fellow kid.
The girl had stopped crying but couldn't help the hiccups as she tried to speak to the oddly dressed kid with hair even redder than she and her sister who was still making his way slowly towards her.
"My English not very good yet. So, until you are ready to talk, I'll just here." Naruto said as he sat down next to girl just on the trunk of a fallen tree.
The boy just sat there waiting for the young girl to regain her composure.
"My name is Penelope, who are you?"
"Pe- nel-ope, Penel-ope." The boy sound it out a couple of times before smiling a wild grin.
"Well then Penelope! My name is Naruto and how about we get out of here?" Naruto said as his grin became a smirk as he offered his hand to little Lady as he stood up offering the girl a hand.
Penelope looked at the hand then her gaze went up the young boy's arm over his face taking in every feature from the eyes the colour of amethysts, the whisker like marks on his cheeks making the boy look like a kitten, but that warm look in his eyes told her everything was going to be ok.
"M-m-my ank-kle," Penelope cried softer than before, but the pain was immense.
Naruto just smiled and looked down towards the younger girl's ankle noticing a nasty looking purple bruise before inwardly cringing.
'That looks like it hurts.'
Still offering his hand Naruto just smiled softly. "I don't think you will be walking anywhere on that," Naruto said before his sombre face turned mischievous.
"Trust me!" I got you."
'He is really nice but why would phrase it like that.'
The action of Penelope placing her hand in the unknown (to her) heir's hand
What these two souls didn't realise was that this is the moment when fate shifted, and destinies change, and it was all caused by this one action.
Ten whole minutes went by and the two kids were out of the ditch where Penelope fell and currently walking back through the woodland as the heir had gotten lost and couldn't remember the way back to Lady Danbury's estate so Penelope was doing her best to guide him but what made it even more tricky was the fact Penelope was being carried piggyback style as it turns out she had sprained her foot on her tumble.
"So let me get this straight, your sisters are mean. To which you run away from family and friends, only to roll your ankle and fall over getting your dress and hair covered in mud."
She didn't answer as he nodded into his upper back.
"Well at least it is almost over and once we get you home you can have a hot bath and start getting ready for a fresh start tomorrow." Naruto said as he continued walking in the general direction of the Bridgerton estate.
Eight Years Later
The sound of waves splashing against the wooden hull of the galleon class Dutch merchant ship. Filled to the brim with several gifts for heads of the nation along with some friends Kushina and Naruto made during their stay in Mayfair. The sun was beating down hard and hot but luckily enough a cooling ocean breeze had been blowing across the ship keeping the sailors cool.
At the helm of the ship the pilot was non other than the heir to the Golden throne.
'I survived five years of hell; I have earned this.' The pilot thought to himself before a shout interrupted his thoughts.
"Randoho"/ "Land ho!" a Japanese and Dutch crew member shouted in unison.
A fond smile appeared on the pilot's face as he thought about the people, he connected with all those years ago.
The Bridgerton's, Lady Danbury, and some others who were not from high society, but it was two faces that lingered a lot longer than the should of. Red and brunette both almost as awkward as each other each with their own unique charms.
"I wonder how then have been," the pilot smiled to himself before he stepped away from the helm allowing another crew member to manage piloting the ship into port while the heir went to sit on his favourite spot on the whole ship. The blue whale figurehead at the bow of the ship.
The Dutch ship originally arrived on the shores of his home nation the crew died of starvation bar a few, easily less than a dozen men if the story is to be believed. It was repaired but was burnt down during the Catholic Uprising before being completely rebuilt by the Anjin who made Japan aware of the British Empire and built the fleet that lead to Japan to dominating Naval combat and expanding the borders of their empire.
As the heir sat down on his favourite spot, he patted the ship he was tasked to build by his father.
Naruto patted the whale head gentle as he looked back fondly, at some the letters he wrote to his friends as the girls helped him expand his range of English and writing in their language too.
"Hey Calypso," the heir whispered as he looked back on the one of the first books he read to completion in English, and it was all thanks to a certain book enthusiast. "Thank you for getting us here safely, dattebayo." He whispered before pulling his katana from his waistband keeping a hold of it or it could fall into the sea lean backwards letting the roar of the waves temper his excitement for the coming Season.
At the same time over in Mayfair, out on the Ton the excited whispers of mama's, young women about potential suitors, the potential of becoming the Queens Diamond and gaining her favour. The men were excited for several reasons because in their attempts to dazzle and impress the ladies, to be chosen as the most eligible bachelor on the Ton is a great boon, and with recent whispers in parliament that some kind of renegotiations on the Alliance between them and the Japanese so some worry was in air, but a lot of the Lords could see some business potential.
