Summary: After dating for months, Imogen and Sahar finally developed enough confidence to come out to their friends and to everyone at school.
This is my first Imogen/Sahar fic I'm posting; however, it's not the last fic of them you will see. I am a true believer that they will get together in S3.
After months of dating, Sahar and Imogen had decided they wanted to tell people they were together.
They had gradually told all their close friends and family. Nick was over the moon that, finally, Imogen had found someone who made her happy, and all their friends were so supportive.
The next day, they walked confidently, hand in hand, into school together. The reaction was good, with a few snide remarks and sniggers, but it was to be expected that their school wasn't the most accepting, especially since their friend Tara came out.
Halfway through their lunch break, a year seven student came up to Imogen and said, "You inspired me to come out to my parents. I told them I was a lesbian."
Imogen was gobsmacked that she had that effect on someone. Someone was inspired by her coming out and made them comfortable enough to do it themself.
"I am so proud of you, Immy; you helped someone come out." Sahar whispered as she leaned her head on Imogen's shoulder.
