BLUE

"Hello kids!" Steve said. "I heard you were having some trouble with people not waking up from their naps."

"Uh…" Sero scratched his head. "That's one way of putting it."

"Well, my pet dog Blue likes to put pawprints on important clues that can help us solve this mystery."

"Like these guys?" Sato gestured at the pawprint on the body.

"Exactly. We can see that they all have handprints on them. Which must mean… they were fingerpainting."

Blue yipped and ran in circles. Steve said, "I'll write that down in my handy dandy notebook. Now, if they were fingerpainting, then that must mean they needed paint. Where do you think we would find paint?"

Crickets chirped. Aoyama said, "In the art room, oui?"

"Exactly! To the art room!"

In Midnight's room, they found a paint can with a pawprint. Steve dipped a finger into it, and it came away burned. "See? This is the exact same color we found on the painters. Time to put it in the notebook because it's a Blue Clue!"

Yaoyorozu examined it. "It's nitric acid."

"And how would you know that, hmm?" Mineta glared at her, though the gesture was undercut by the fact he was staring directly at her chest.

"I need to know about it for my Quirk."

"Sounds like Yaoyorozu might have brought the paint," Steve said. "Blue? What do you think?"

Blue ran into a painting depicting the Yaoyorozu mansion. "Looks like Blue Skidoo'd in," Steve said. "Blue Skidoo, we can too!"

Everyone materialized in a watercolor copy of Momo's room. Steve picked up a receipt and said, "Here's our third clue. In the notebook it goes."

"It's a receipt?" Kaminari asked.

Ochako crossed her arms. "Of course! Momo refuses to make anything with her Quirk she couldn't buy herself. She wouldn't even give me any gold."

"And the paint didn't have proper labeling," Steve added. "It wasn't bought at the store, someone made it."

"But if it wasn't Momo, who could've made it?"

Steve opened his notebook. "Mina's acid is too strong, and Momo would have bought it instead of making it. It means there's one person we overlooked. One person who's Quirk relates to chemicals we don't usually think of as paint. And that someone is-"

Bakugo blasted him from behind. "It was me! Baku-erk!"

Everyone gasped. From the smoke, Steve flexed out of his shirt. Blue coiled in billowing smoke around him. "Oh? Instead of running away, you face me?"

"But how?" Iida asked. "Your Quirk makes nitroglycerin!"

"It does," Steve replied, "But what does he make it with?"

"Glycerin… and nitric acid," Momo answered.

"Bingo. Now, ask forgiveness from Izuku. I, however, never had the slightest intention of forgiving you."

"I forgive him," Izuku said.

Steve dropped Bakugo. "Then it appears the case is closed. Now it's time for so long, but I'll sing you just one more song. Thanks for-"

Nezu slammed open a door, pancaking Steve behind it. "Hi everyone, I'm back!"

Boy was that a trip down memory lane. I can barely remember Blue's Clues.
