In the town of Adventure Bay, on a nice, sunny day. A German Shepherd and a Siberian Husky were walking together on the sidewalk, happily spending time together; which was a luxury as the shepherd was almost constantly on a mission of some sort.
"So, how is your job at the police station going?" Sierra asked, tilting her head as they walked.
"It's going well. Dad is currently training me to be a lieutenant, and Artemis and Magnum are helping me with the training, occasionally." Ace replied, showing a bit of pride as he explained.
"Oh, that sounds nice." Sierra said as she focused her head forward. She was clearly showing jealousy at how Ace was always busy, she then noticed a large shadow move past them.
Ace ane Sierra looked down at the shadow for a moment, before looking up to see what it was. They noticed a large, blue parachute carrying a husky, before watching the husky land on the sidewalk about a half mile ahead of them. Ace and Sierra glanced at one another, more confused than anything, before running toward where the husky landed to make sure they were okay.
Upon arriving at the scene, they saw a canine stuck underneath the parachute, flailing around as they tried to free themself.
"Uhh, hello? Do you need any help?" Ace asked them, happy to help if they needed it. The canine stopped flailing around, and turned toward Ace and Sierra, staring at the two canines in silence for a moment before speaking.
"Boo!" The husky yelled, pretending to be a ghost. Ace and Sierra just stared at them for a moment before they began giggling. The 'ghostpup' joined in, before Ace walked up to them and helped them out of the parachute.
"Does this 'ghost' have a name?" Sierra asked, smiling at the husky. The husky glanced to her before replying.
"Yes, she does. I'm Snowflake! What's your name?" Snowflake asked, tilting her head at the shepherd and husky.
"Sierra, Sierra Tundra." Sierra replied, Snowflake and her then turned to the shepherd that helped her out of the parachute.
"Ace Schäfer." Ace introduced himself, nodding to the husky as he did. Sierra then got her attention again.
"So, why were you parachuting into town? And where did you even come from!?" Sierra asked as she raised her head and looked around in the sky, searching for some sort of plane or helicopter.
"Because it's fun." Snowflake replied. Ace trotted over to Sierra and leaned toward her before whispering to her.
"That didn't really answer the question." Ace whispered to the snow white husky, glancing over at Snowflake. who was admiring the town that surrounded her.
"Yeah, and there isn't even a plane or helicopter nearby that she could've skydived from." Sierra whispered back, still glancing around as she scanned the sky for any type of aircraft.
"Adventure Bay is so much bigger then it was the last time I was here!" Snowflake exclaimed, still spinning around and looking up at the tall skyscrapers that were built over the last year.
"Yeah, they expanded it a lot recently." Ace explained to her. He then received a call on his puptag from Marshall, asking for his help with something at the station. "Alright, I gotta go! Marshall needs my help." Ace said before turning and walking down the sidewalk toward the fire station. "Bye Sier!"
"Bye Ace!" Sierra said, waving to him as she watched him walk away. Snowflake then noticed that Sierra's face was turning slightly red as she stared at the shepherd.
"Are you okay?" Snowflake asked, a bit concerned. Sierra turned to the husky, confused, before quickly hiding her blush.
"Y-Yeah, I'm fine." Sierra replied, lowering her head and glaring at the ground, trying to hide her face.
"Alright..." Snowflake said, staring at Sierra. Both of them sat there in silence for a few moments, until eventually, Sierra glanced up at Snowflake.
"So... want to go for a walk or something?" Sierra asked, wanting to do something now that Ace wasn't there with her. She was also clearly getting more nervous with the shepherd gone.
"Sure!" Snowflake replied, happy to spend time with a new potential friend.
The two huskies then began walking through Adventure Bay together, as Snowflake looked around in awe at the large size of Adventure Bay now. Everything was now much larger and more developed since she last visited, it was almost unrecognizable. With the exception of the town hall and a few buildings here and there; like Katie's pet parlor, Mr. Porter's cafe, and the lookout.
Snowflake was in front of Sierra, traveling down the sidewalk quickly, when she noticed a poster on the wall of a building next to her. Sierra was about to walk into the husky when she stopped, confused about what she was looking at. Sierra turned to see why she stopped and began reading the poster.
The Man Behind The Mask
The life of Juniper, in 3 acts.
Mon - Tue - Wed
2 PM - 8 PM
Starring Wilhelm Juniper as himself!
Sierra was filled with anger as she read the name, and suddenly grabbed Snowflake by her leg and quickly dragged her away from the poster, before continuing their journey through town.
"What's wrong?" Snowflake asked, confused about why Sierra was suddenly so angry because of a simple poster.
"The name on that poster is what's wrong." Sierra replied, becoming even more pissed off as she began remembering the events of the last couple months.
"Why? Did Juniper do something?" Snowflake asked, not understanding what happened between Juniper and the PAW Patrol.
"Yes, he's a bastard that caused nothing but pain for us." Sierra snapped back. She then went on a tangent about what happened over the last couple months with The Architect, sounding like she was slowly losing her mind.
After about twenty minutes of venting, Sierra finally calmed down. She then apologized to Snowflake, feeling bad for dumping all of her feelings onto the poor husky. Snowflake was surprisingly chill, willing to let her potentially new friend vent to her if she had to.
As they walked through Adventure Bay, they just so happen to be passing by Katie's pet parlor, when they heard a car approaching. Sierra began talking about how she was happy about the new advances in Canine accessable vehicles, when the car sped by the pair, running over a puddle on the road and causing Sierra to be drenched in water.
"Welp *cough* I'm happy that Katie just so happens to be *cough* right here." Sierra exclaimed as she turned around, entering the building with Snowflake following behind.
Sierra entered the parlor and looked around for Katie, seeing her in the corner of the lobby, brushing Cali's hair. Katie glanced up and noticed the husky, then stood up and began walking over to her.
"Hey Sierra, how are yo-" Katie stopped mid sentence as she saw that Sierra's coat was drenched. "You need a bath?" Katie asked, assuming that was the reason she visited.
"Please?" Sierra replied, clearly annoyed that her coat was ruined. Katie grabbed a towel and was about to enter the back room when Sierra grabbed the towel from her.
"I can take one myself, thanks." Sierra said as she entered the back room. Katie was used to this from her, as she always insisted to do everything herself.
"You're welcome." Katie responded before the back room door shut, sighing after Sierra disappeared into the back. She then turned back to the lobby and noticed Snowflake standing there. "Oh, hey Snowflake." Katie greeted the husky.
"Hello Katie!" Snowflake happily greeted her back, jumping into the air a little as she did.
"What brings you to Adventure Bay?" Katie asked, a bit surprised to see the husky back in town.
"I wanted to visit. I haven't been here in years, and I heard that it change a bit. Turns out it changed much more than I expected." Snowflake replied, glancing out the parlor windows as she spoke.
"Oh yeah, it's changed a lot! I've gotten so many more customers now then I did back then." Katie stated, sitting down and continuing to brush Cali's hair.
Sierra then walked back into the lobby, still soaked in water from her bath. Katie and Snowflake turned toward her, surprised at how fast she got done with her bath.
"That was quick." Snowflake pointed out, Sierra glanced over at her before responding.
"Yeah, I didn't exactly come here to have small talk. So I didn't spend thirty minutes taking a long bubble bath like the others do." Sierra replied, not liking to waste her time.
"Sierra, you forgot to dry off your coat." Katie pointed out as the snow white husky's coat was still dripping.
Sierra turned her head back and glanced at her coat, before trying to shake off the water. She got most of it out, but a lot of her coat was still soaked. Katie sighed before calling Sierra over and grabbing an air dryer. She then began drying out the Husky's coat herself as she spoke to them.
"So, how has your time in Adventure Bay been so far?" Katie asked, wondering how the husky felt about all the change.
"So far? It's been great! The size of it is...a bit overwhelming...but it's fine." Snowflake replied. Katie then paused drying Sierra's coat as she responded.
"Oh, yeah, I was honestly overwhelmed at first as well." Katie said. She then returned to drying Sierra's coat, with the husky glaring at her for stopping.
After a couple more minutes, with Katie and Snowflake sharing more occasional small talk, she finally finished drying Sierra's coat. Sierra thanked her before standing up and making her way to the door. Snowflake stayed behind for a moment and finished up her conversation with Katie before following behind.
"So, where do we go now?" Snowflake asked, wondering what the next place they visit would be.
"Hmm...We could go visit Marshall at the fire station." Sierra proposed, mostly hoping she could hang out with Ace for a bit.
"Fire station? Adventure Bay now has emergency services other then the paw patrol?" Snowflake asked, suprised to learn about this.
"Oh, yeah. Adventure Bay also now has it's own police station, and somewhat recently, it's own hospital. Though it admittedly took a while for the hospital to finish construction." Sierra replied. She then made a comment about her time in the hospital a few months before, which made her begin explaining her story to the husky next to her.
The two huskies continued walking down the street for a couple minutes, with Sierra telling Snowflake about her past before she joined the PAW Patrol. She told her about her time working for Locke, and her time living in Jake's resort with Everest, excluding the part of the story where she tried to harm Ace
Snowflake was listening to her story, interested in learning more about her new friend. Sierra eventually got to the point where she left the resort and headed into town, being very careful and vague with her words as to not admit that she committed arson.
"I got stuck on the second floor of a building when it caught fire. Luckily, Ace came and found me in a back room. He and Marshall helped me up and got me out of the building. But unfortunately, it left permanent scarring." Sierra told her whole showing her the burn marks she got. The scars were hard to see as they were hidden under her coat, but Snowflake could barely see them.
"Oh my god, that's horrible!" Snowflake said, shocked to hear what Sierra went through.
The two of them then continued walking, as Sierra quickly moved on, not wanting to dwell on the incident. Instead beginning to tell Snowflake about all of her inventions that she made to help the PAW Patrol, and all the changes she's made so far. As she was explaining the drone she recently made to her, they finally arrived at the fire station.
They both saw a familiar red truck parked outside, with the number '03' down the side. Sierra and Snowflake slowly approached one of the garage doors of the station, which was open, and peeked inside.
Inside the station
Marshall was standing in front of the firepups at the station, explaining many different ways to deal with multiple situations they may encounter. Behind him was a female Dalmatian, watching the firepups, and assisting with steering the conversation back on topic when Marshall goes into one of his many stories. And to the side, leaning against the wall, was Ace.
Sierra and Snowflake entered the fire station, undetected by the firepups. Except for the Dalmatian, the Fire Captain.
"Hello you two, what can I do for you?" The Dalmatian asked, turning her attention to them as Marshall continued teaching the other pups.
"How long will Marshall be busy for?" Sierra asked, pointing at him as she spoke to specify who specifically she was referring to.
"One moment." The Fire Captain replied. She then turned around and tapped Marshall on the shoulder. Marshall turned to her, then glanced over at Sierra and Snowflake when the captain pointed at them. She whispered something to him before taking over with the explanation as Marshall trotted over to the huskies.
"Hey Marshall. You don't need to stop your training, we can wait for you until you're done." Sierra insisted, not wanting to interrupt the firepups training.
"Don't worry, It's not an issue, the captain has taken over the training. I'm pretty sure she was about to lose her mind because I kept getting deep into telling a rescue story, and not actually explaining stuff." Marshall admitted, aware that he isn't very good at staying on topic.
"Ahh, no wonder Ace always has to be here with you." Sierra said as she glanced over at the shepherd, laughing a little. Marshall and Ace both laughed as well before the Dalmatian noticing Snowflake.
"Oh, hey again Snowflake." Marshall greeted the husky, surprised to see her in Adventure Bay again after all these years.
"Hello you large Marshmallow." Snowflake responded, Marshall rolled his eyes as both him and Snowflake giggled over the nickname.
They know each other already? Why wasn't I told about her before? Sierra asked herself, confused and surprised that they already knew one another.
"Wow, is that my nickname now?" Marshall jokingly asked. He was used to Everest calling him that, but wasn't expecting to hear anyone else use that nickname for him.
"You two know each other?" Sierra asked, still surprised. Snowflake and Marshall turned toward her before Marshall responded.
"Oh, yeah. We met her awhile ago during a mission... Well, 'rescue'." Marshall replied, quoting the last word, which made Sierra suspicious. Marshall noticed this and muttered a name that was all too familiar. "Danny."
"Ahh, alright." Sierra responded, glancing over at Snowflake as she nodded her head in understanding.
"So, how have you been Snow?" Marshall asked, curious how the husky was doing. Afterall, it had been years since they last met.
"I've been doing good. Still parachuting all the time...and occasionally getting stuck in a tree." Snowflake replied, staring at the ground as she muttered the last part.
"Of course." Marshall said, rolling his eyes. He then began thinking about something the three of them could do since the captain probably wouldn't let him continue teaching for awhile. Snowflake was the first one to propose an idea however.
"Why don't we go see how the other pups are doing at the lookout?" Snowflake asked, curious about how the other PAW Patrol members were doing.
"Sure, they definitely would be happy to see you again." Marshall replied, loving the idea.
"Don't you have to train the firepups though?" Sierra asked, assuming that Marshall was too busy with work to join them.
"I think I lost my training privileges for the day." Marshall replied, glancing over at the Dalmatian who acted as the fire captain. The glare she gave him confirmed his statement.
"Oh, yeah, you're probably right." Sierra said, noticing the glare Marshall was getting. The two huskies then left the fire station, and after clearing it with the captain, Marshall followed behind.
Marshall, Sierra, and Snowflake began making their way to the lookout, with Sierra ready to introduce her to the other pups. Although she wasn't aware that snowflake already knew them.
When they finally made it to the lookout, Sierra began speeding up and stopped outside the automatic doors range, with Marshall and Snowflake taking a bit longer to catch up to her. Marshall and Snowflake then entered the lookout, with Sierra following behind. The first pup they saw was Rocky, who was standing with Zuma, going through one of the puppacks, making sure it wasn't missing any equipment.
"Hey Rocky! Hey Zuma!" Snowflake greeted them as she approached the two pups. Rocky and Zuma turned to her, surprised to see her at the lookout.
"Hey Snowflake!" The two pups greeted her. Zuma then noticed Marshall behind her, which was weird as he was meant to be at the fire station. "Why are you here? Aren't you supposed to be working?" Zuma asked, confused.
"Yeah, but I got my training privileges revoked for the day." Marshall replied, looking at the ground as he spoke.
"What did you do?" Zuma asked, staring at the Dalmatian.
"N-Nothing..." Marshall replied, not wanting to explain currently. There was then a long silence that filled the room afterward, until a certain sound began getting louder, and louder.
They all heard metal footsteps moving toward them slowly, clearly intentionally being quiet. Suddenly, Snowflake was thrown to the ground as a large, robotic canine jumped forward.
"We have an intruder in the lookout! I have them detained!" AL declared, using one of his paws to hold the husky still on the ground until one of the others could deal with the 'intruder', Ryder rushed into the room and saw Snowflake on the ground, with the iron pup standing over her.
"AL, I appreciate you trying to protect the lookout, but she isn't an intruder. Could you please let her go?" Ryder asked the robotic canine, hoping thay he'll just let her go. AL looked down at Snowflake, then back up at Ryder, before walking away.
Snowflake got up and turned to the iron pup, more confused then anything. While Marshall and Rocky were laughing like they had gone insane. Sierra then walked up to Ryder, trying to hold her composure.
"Sir, do you know where Chase and Skye are?" Sierra asked, still trying to hold back the urge to laugh at what she just witnessed.
"They went out on a mission shortly before you got back. Danny decided to do one of his stunts again, and I don't trust him not to injure himself." Ryder replied.
"It's nice to have normal missions once again. No more people trying to take over the world, or destroy it." Sierra stated, leaning against the wall as she watched Rocky explain AL to Snowflake.
"Let's be honest, it'll happen again eventually. It's only a matter of time." Ryder pointed out. Sierra lowered her head and sighed before responding.
"Yeah, you're right. It's only a matter of time until someone attempts to." Sierra agreed, acknowledging that her owner was correct in his statement.
They all then heard a trio of footsteps on the concrete outside the lookout. Ryder, AL, Sierra, and Snowflake headed outside to see who it was, noticing Chase and Skye walking toward them, with Danny following behind.
"Mission completed, Ryder sir!" Chase reported, raising his paw to signal for Danny to stop where he was.
"Thank you Chase." Ryder thanked the shepherd before turning his attention to Danny. "Danny, I understand that your entire thing is doing dangerous stunts, and I hate to ruin someone having fun. But can you please stop doing them? It's extremely dangerous and I don't want you getting injured if you continue."
Danny thought about it for a moment as everyone stood there, completely silent, before he spoke.
"Fine, I'll stop with the stunts, on one condition!" Danny replied, pausing for a short moment before continuing. "You take me up in the air with the Air Patroller and let me go skydiving one more time, and I'll stop doing the dangerous stunts. At least most of them."
Ryder thought about his offer, then glanced at Sierra, who glanced back at him with a smile.
"On the condition that you use Sierra's parachute specifically." Ryder added, for a very specific reason.
"Uhh, alright then, deal." Danny accepted. Sierra then turned and ran inside the lookout, heading straight to where she stored the parachutes.
Snowflake stood there, confused about what was going on, before walking up to Chase.
"What's going on?" Snowflake asked, curious why Ryder insisted on Danny using a very specific parachute.
"Ryder made Danny agree to use Sierra's parachute. Sierra doesn't mess around when it comes to safety; and that parachute has every possible safety precaution. A main parachute, a backup parachute, Hell! It even has flares, just in case you somehow get stranded and need to signal for rescue." Chase explained with a smile across his face.
Sierra then left the lookout, with two parachutes on her back, and tossed one to Danny. "I'm going with him, for safety reasons." Sierra told her owner. She then turned to Snowflake. "Do you want to come with?" Sierra asked her, hoping that her new friend would join them.
"I'd love to!" Snowflake replied, loving the idea. Sierra then turned toward to AL, who was already heading inside the lookout to grab a third parachute for her.
"I'll go ahead and get the Air Patroller ready. When AL comes back, grab the parachute from him and meet us at the Air Patroller, and we'll take off." Sierra told her friend before heading off to the Air Patroller, with Danny following behind.
As Sierra and Danny made their way to the Air Patroller, Danny was struggling to get the parachute on. Even though it can be used by humans, it wasn't designed with humans in mind, so it was difficult for them to use. Danny eventually managed to get it on, just as they arrived at the Air Patroller. They then entered the large aircraft and sat down, waiting on Snowflake to arrive with her parachute. It didn't take too long, as they soon heard a pair of footsteps rushing toward them. Sierra raised her head and saw Snowflake entering the aircraft, with AL and Ryder following behind.
"Uhh, AL, you weren't supposed to come with." Sierra pointed out, a bit surprised that the iron pup even came near the Air Patroller.
"I wanted to come oversee the flight. Don't worry, I got it cleared with Ryder." AL replied. Ryder nodded his head to her as he past, silently confirming what AL said.
Ryder and AL went to the cabin and sat next to robopup, before they began powering up the Air Patroller and preparing it to fly.
Sierra, Snowflake, and Danny sat there for a moment before the Air Patroller began taking off, bringing them into the air. Sierra began explaining to Danny and Snowflake how the parachutes work, and what they should do if something went wrong, but Sierra assured them that everything would be fine.
Ryder then returned to Danny and the huskies, leaving Robopup and AL to fly the Air Patroller themselves while he spoke with the passengers of the Air Patroller.
"Are you sure you three are ready?" Ryder asked them, wanting to guarantee that they all had their parachutes ready. He trusted that Sierra made sure that their safety was prioritized, but it never hurt to double check.
"Yep!" Danny and Snowflake replied, ready for the skydive. Sierra didn't reply yet, instead hopping off her seat and checking each one of the parachutes, double checking that they were all safe to use.
"The parachutes are all good." Sierra declared before returning to her seat.
"Alright, we're almost at a good altitude." Ryder said as he glanced back at the two robotic canines.
AL was carefully watching as Robopup flew the Air Patroller, his eyes recording the many buttons that Robopup pressed. He was learning how the Air Patroller worked, and he was recording what he saw to watch over and over to perfect it, to eventually take over flying the aircraft when he needed to.
Once they achieved their desired altitude, Robopup stopped ascending and slowed the flight speed to make the jump easier. Sierra, Snowflake, and Danny stood up and prepared themselves for the jump. Sierra hadn't actually gone skydiving before, and was beginning to stress herself as she looked down at the ground. She then felt a paw on her back, and when she turned, she saw Snowflake looking back at her.
"Don't worry Sierra, it'll be okay." Snowflake assured her, trying to calm down the husky.
"Hey! That's my line!" Sierra responded, playfully smacking her paw off of her back as the two laughed.
The two huskies then took a breath and looked at the drop, before Sierra jumped, with Snowflake and Danny following shortly behind. Sierra continued cutting through the air, approaching the ground at a good speed. Once she was around 3000 feet from the ground, she pulled her parachute cord, and was suddenly slowed down significantly as the parachute collected air and slowed her fall.
The pure white husky glanced up and saw Snowflake and Danny deploy their parachutes, with Danny pulling his a bit lower to the ground then she'd like, but she was sure that he'd be alright, as he still had 2000 feet left when his parachute finally slowed him.
As Sierra slowly descended to the ground, she looked around and admired the town everyone called Adventure Bay. From how high up she was, the town looked beautiful, especially with all the lights that lit up the town as the sky was turning from a bright blue to orange. Sierra noticed that she wasn't as stressed as she was before she jumped. Instead, it was sort of calming to her.
After a while of her slowly descending to the ground, she finally landed on the field they had picked out as the landing spot. She quickly took off her parachute and got out of the way, before turning and watching as Danny landed, quite a bit off course but it wasn't a very big deal. Afterall, the field was very large. She then saw Snowflake finally land, seemingly very happy as she slowly landed onto the ground. Sierra began walking over to her as her parachute fell onto her and covered her in the exact same way that Ace and her found her that morning.
"Ahh! Not again!" She heard the husky yell as she approached. Sierra began lightly laughing as Snowflake threw her limbs around trying to escape.
Sierra tried to stop laughing, but as Snowflake kept flailing around in the parachute, yelling as she tried to escape, Sierra lost it. Snowflake stopped flailing around and turned to where the laughing was coming from, before she joined in.
Sierra eventually managed to regain her composure and went up to Snowflake, then freed her from her nylon prison.
"What is with you and getting stuck in parachutes? I'd expect this sort of thing from Marshall." Sierra asked, wondering why she always seemed to get stuck, as this was the second time that day.
"Sorry, I can be a bit clumsy sometimes." Snowflake replied, apologizing for her clumsiness.
"Do you happen to be related to the chief?" Sierra asked, referring to Marshall. Snowflake looked at her, confused for a moment before realizing who she was referencing. She quickly denied it as Sierra giggled, insisting that she was just joking.
Sierra then heard a engine approaching, and when she turned to see what it was, she saw a very familiar TPz Fuchs enter the field and come to a stop. Sierra froze upon seeing it, suddenly getting very nervous. Until she saw Chase and Ryder get out, which caused her to be relieved. Snowflake noticed this and turned to her as Ryder and Chase walked past them toward Danny.
"Are you okay? Is something wrong between you and Ace?" Snowflake asked, noticing that she seemed to get extremely nervous everytime she saw the shepherd.
"Huh? What? Oh! Uhh...No, not at all!" Sierra replied, speaking very fast as she began turning slightly red. Chase overheard the conversation and walked over to the two.
"She has a crush on him." Chase whispered to them, pointing out the obvious before backing away.
"Wha- Hey!" Sierra yelled as Chase ran back to Ryder laughing. Snowflake looked at the older shepherd, confused, until she realized what he said.
Snowflake began lightly giggling, which made Sierra even more embarrassed. Snowflake eventually noticed and apologized to her, and the two huskies soon grabbed their parachutes and began making their way back to the lookout, wanting to spend a bit more time together before Snowflake had to leave and return to her home.
