It was once again another day for Amari, a few weeks after his recovery from the incident with his father.

He sat at the kitchen table, deep in his thoughts while he subconsciously pet his Eevee, Tera.

'I don't get it...who was that in my dream...?'

'WAS it even a dream...?'

He didn't understand why he experienced whatever last night was.

Of course, he didn't also understand his stepmother was trying to get his attention.

"AMARI!" Delilah yelled, finally snapping the boy out of his thoughts.

"O-Oh, sorry, Mom..." Amari apologized, frowning slightly.

"This is the third time this week you've done this...are you okay?" Delilah asked, worried for her stepson.

"N-No...I'm just a little shaken about a nightmare, is all..." Amari said, smiling softly. "It's not a big deal..." He continued.

"If you say so..." Delilah said with a sigh. "Just let me know if they get any worse, okay?" She asked.

"I will." Amari said.

It was a lie.

A real poor one too.

While Delilah didn't notice, the other psychics in the living room did.

'Yeah, I'm sure it was JUST a nightmare...' Mew said sarcastically, getting Amari's attention once more.

'M-Mew...?' Amari asked. 'You didn't...overhear that entire conversation, did you...?' Amari asked, worried that he might've dug his own grave.

And indeed, he did.

'I heard everything.' Mew said flatly, narrowing her eyes at the boy.

Amari inwardly groaned, regretting his actions.

'L-Listen, it isn't a big deal-' Amari tried to reason, but Mew wasn't hearing it.

'No, it IS a big deal if you're seeing a literal GOD.' Mew responded, cutting him off.

'He...he's a god...?' Amari asked, shocked at the new information.

Mew went to respond, but Delilah stepped in the way, placing a plate of breakfast in front of Amari.

"Here, eat up." She said to Amari, before turning to Mew. "Go to the living room with your children, I don't need your antics in the kitchen." She continued.

Mew puffed her cheeks, but ultimately had no choice but to respect the mother.

She turned to Amari one last time.

'We'll talk about this later, when SHE isn't around.' Mew said, making Amari gulp audibly.

'Okay...' He responded, as Mew flew off towards where she was directed.

His Eevee chirped at him, looking at him with a suspicious eyebrow.

"I-It's not anything bad, Tera!" He blurted, a small blush on his face.

After breakfast...

Amari laid down beside a tree, once again trying to sort his thoughts together about the past events.

'So, that 'voice' I had a dream about was a god...?'

The way Mew speaks of him, it sounds like a pretty big deal...

'Ugh, I don't get this...'

'First I'm recovering from being nearly killed, now THIS...'

'I don't know how much more I can take...'

'You seem to be deep in thought.' A deep, masculine voice rang inside of the boy's head, making him flinch.

He turned to see Mewtwo.

"O-Oh, hey, Mewtwo..." Amari said, looking towards the forest leading to Pallet Town.

'Greetings.' He responded. 'I sense you're worried about something?' He asked, getting straight to the point.

Amari hesitated on what he should say next.

He obviously couldn't lie; it was a psychic Pokémon he was talking to.

But he was afraid of telling him of whatever 'dream' he had, especially now that he knows it was a god, according to Mew.

And if she reacted harshly to it, then Arceus knows how HE'S gonna take it...

Amari took a deep breath, before speaking.

"I just...had a weird dream..." He said.

'Ah, so THAT'S what Mew was rambling on about.' Mewtwo said. 'It was about the God of all Pokémon, yes?' He asked.

Amari tilted his head.

"I...guess...?" He said. "I don't know a lot about what or who this god even is..." He continued.

'Sounds like he has an interest in you...or, he could cursing you...' Mewtwo said.

Amari's head snapped towards the psychic Pokémon.

"H-He does what now...?" The boy asked, a scared look on his face.

'I was joking, Amari...' Mewtwo said, sweat-dropping. 'But on a more serious note, he could truly want something from you. It would be best to not ignore it.' Mewtwo said.

Amari looked down, deep in thought.

"Does this 'God of all Pokémon' have a name...?" He asked. "Is there anywhere I can find him..." He asked further, hoping for some answers, if any existed.

'His name is Arceus; and as for where he is, that is unfortunately not a question I can answer—only Pokémon are allowed to know such a secret, not humans.' Mewtwo answered.

"T-Then how am I supposed to find this Pokémon if I don't even know his location?!" Amari asked, a frown on his face.

'That is for YOU to figure out, I have given you all of the information I can.' Mewtwo said flatly.

"But I-!" Amari was going to argue further, but saw Mewtwo's glare, seemingly threatening him to try.

He closed his mouth quickly, not wanting to anger the psychic.

'Hmph, at least you're smart enough to know boundaries.' Mewtwo said, turning around as he levitated back into the house.

And with that, Amari was left alone once again, his Eevee looking at him with a worried expression.

"Eevee...?" She chirped.

Amari sighed, looking at her with teary eyes as he pet her head.

"At least you don't make me question my life..." He mumbled, a small smile on his face.

Tera purred, nuzzling into her owner's hand.

Amari learns about the identity of the mysterious voice in his dream.

Things are getting slightly tense...

Will Amari find out more about this 'Arceus'?
