Chapter 26 Promises to keep: Part 1

"An Éclair D'amour…a magic flower that reflects the condition of their partner no matter how far away they are." Julio said to Louise.

"No…" Louise looked at the flowers. Its red color slowly faded away before it completely wilted. Tears running down Louise's face she clutched the glass bottle that the flower was still in.

She cried holding the Éclair D'amour. "Sora…SORA!"

The mages finished chanting as a huge fireball went flying through the air. As it was hurling towards Sora he had one last flash. From the church where he and Louise held hands…to the moment Sora and Kairi shared a paopu fruit. He smiled looking at those fond memories as his body was covered in a bright warm light

'Kairi…Louise…Everyone…Take care…' He shut his eyes as the fireball flew at him. Making an explosion at where he was.

(Radiant Garden)

Meanwhile, in the castle in the city of light, Ansem and everyone else were working on the computer when Kairi suddenly woke up and nearly gave Even a heart attack.

"Gah!" Even said. Taking a deep breath. Clutching his chest.

"Kairi, what 's wrong!?" Asnem asked. The young redhead touched her chest. There was a tightness that made her uncomfortable. Something bad had to have happened.

"...Sora…"

(Final world)

"Ugh…" Sora opened his eyes, and the first thing he saw was the night sky, filled with thousands of stars. He quickly sat up and looked around him, but nothing was there except for the clean slate of water that covered the whole area. "This place…" he muttered, immediately recognizing that he was someplace similar to the Final World, where it was all dark instead of being basked in daylight.

"At least, I'm all here." Sora thought, looking at his body before he stood up. He looked around once again and frowned.

He cupped his mouth and shouted "Hey! Is anyone out there? Hello!" he yelled out, bringing his hands near his mouth so that his voice could be heard louder.

"Hey."

In the distance there was another voice that sounded muffled but this caused him to raise an eyebrow. "Who's that?"

"Where are you?" the voice spoke again.

"Over here!" Sora shouted as he began to run forward, trying to make himself visible to whoever it was that was here.

The figure finally came into clear view, enough for him to be illuminated by the stars above. His dark boots were the first thing that Sora saw. "I see you." he said, walking closer towards the keyblade wielder before stopping within several feet in front of the young brunette.

Sora stopped running as soon as he got a good look at the person in front of him, what caused him to be off guard was how much things figured looked like Riku, as he was as tall as him and his hair was similar to him, his clothes looked like his as well. But what really struck him was that his eyes, one was red and the other was blue, just like Julio's.

It took Sora a moment to recognize the person standing before him. "Hey, aren't you…?"

The young man looked surprised, at the very least. "You… know me?"

Sora nodded. "Yeah. You're Yozora, right?"

"How do you know that? Who are you?" asked Yozora, as he was frowning with suspicion.

But the keyblade welder just gave his usual greeting. "I'm Sora. And actually, there's something I have to ask you—"

"Sora? You're Sora?" Yozora cut him off from his words with a surprised tone, even leaning forward to get a better look at the young brunette.

"Huh? You know who I am?" Sora asked, raising an eyebrow in astonishment.

Yozora stood straight and gave a nod. "Sure. I've heard of you."

"If you're here then this can't be the real world could it? But wait, that girl, she told me about you. Maybe you are real."

Yozora looked at him with a bored expression on his face and silently irritated as he was annoyed by his sudden rambling "Are you done?" He said, calm and composed.

"No, this isn't the real world and I am here. But this isn't what I really look like." He pointed his thumb to himself with a serious look. "How'd you recognize me as Yozora?"

"Huh?"

"Why are you using Sora's name?"

Sora blinked his eyes a couple times, not sure what he was talking about. "Well that because… I am Sora."

"If you are who you say you are, and if fate has brought us here then…my path is clear." Yozora says, clenching his fist. A sudden reddish-orange light shines and now in his right hand, a strange gun appears.

"What?" Sora steps back at the sight of the gun in Yozora's hand. As he steel his nerves as her was preparing for a fight.

Yozora pointed the gun at Sora which soon turned into a crossbow, however before the battle could commence the ground beneath them turned from water to Sora's station of waking. The world around them shifted, turning from a land of water and sky to a large city as the platform under their feet disappeared.

He then turned back to Yozora trying to understand what was happening "Wait! What's happening!"

"I accidentally wandered into this place, and went through some trials. Then…I was told to "save" Sora." Yozora said in a calm tone of voice.

"Huh?!" Sora was in disbelief upon hearing those words from Yozora's mouth. "Then what's with the weapon?" How was this supposed to save him!?

The spiky brunette word's fell on deaf ears. In Yozora's left hand he held a short clever that unfolded into a long orange saber. Their were no more room for words.

"Time to end this." He got into his battle stance.

(Play Nachtflügel)

Sora gritted his teeth and clenched his fists, it's obvious that Yozora wasn't going to listen to his words, with no other option Sora quickly summoned his oblivion keyblade and got into his battle stance.

Yozora jumped into the air and fired a laser at Sora who was blocked it with his keyblade, as Yozora fired two more lasers at him, Sora continued to fight on the defensive, leaving him no room to attack as soon as there was an glimmer of an opening, a blue aura surrounded Sora and he flew towards Yozora at blinding speed and began attacking him with his keyblade Sora landed on the ground as Yozora teleport from the onslaught of attacks. This had Sora surprised.

"Where-?" Sora said as the silver haired teen appeared behind him and fired lasers at him causing Sora to roll out of the way. Just then Yozora's sword suddenly disappeared out of his hand and appeared right in front of Sora, as the saber moved on its own, slashing Sora twice as Yozora knocked him into the air and unleashed a flurry of attacks. Sora regained his balance and unleashed a fast multitude of attacks.

Just as Sora and Yozora landed on the ground Sora swapped from his Oblivion to his wheel of fate keyblade. Yozora looked with curiosity.

"So, you have more than one, huh?" The black clad teen said.

"That's not all!" He unleashed into his strike and his keyblade transformed into highwind.

This intrigued Yozora. "Transformations. Interesting."

Sora launched himself towards the silver haired teen Yozora backed away as he was met with slashes and jabs from the spear. Each time he would teleport, Sora quickly honed in with his flow motion closing the distance between them. Even though the brown haired teen was matching him in speed, the silver haired one was still faster with his teleportation.

Yozora disappeared before appearing behind him he pointed his crossbow at Sora who rolled out of the way as a Laser was fired at him Sora blocked it with the spear and overpowered him with slashes and Sora knocked him out of the air with a strong kick.

Yozora rolled out of the way releasing the saber in his hand and doing a one handed backspring as dived down at him with the spear in his hands.

Yozora began charging energy in his sword and unleashed a barrage of energy slashes Sora didn't have time to guard and took the attack head on. As soon the attacks stopped Yozora teleported in front of the keyblade wielder, blocked a head on splash and sent the silver haired swordsman up in the air with a counter slash.

Sora once again transformed his spear into the storm flag and was whirling the flag at Yozora.

"It's on!"

The heteromorphic teen creates a pyramid like machines out of data before disappearing. Sora was confused as he didn't know what he had up his sleeve this time. He kept the flag close in case something was going to happen.

And just as the keyblade wielder predicted. Sora rolled out of the jump out of the way when it tried to trap him. At the last second Sora turned his head as Yozora was being dragged by his sword, the brunette quickly held his weapon in a defensive stance to block. Two slashes were made by the silver hair teen as he teleported. Sora saw that he was using the same trap again, he avoided it once more and at the last minute.

"Thunder!" Sora spinned the flag around as lightning circled around him, breaking the pyramid and stunning Yozora. Sora threw the flag in a strike raid-like attack before using his air step move to shorten the distance between them, Sora then let loose with a flurry of strong knocks spinning the storm flag around and around he once more knocked Yozora to the ground as he spun the pole over his head bringing the bottom down to the ground.

Tentacles made out of water came up from the ground and whipped Yozora around. Sora's strike form ended, and his storm flag reverted back to its keyblade form.

Yozora disappeared again, this was getting on Sora's nerves.

'Again with the teleporting!? But besides that his power is pretty close to mine.'

Yozora reappeared in the air charging energy into his crossbow shooting a laser at Sora's chest before firing another and two more, Sora rolled out of the way and just as Yozora disappeared a downward slash only to be blocked by Sora, Yozora leaped back in the air and the two clashed swords in the air almost as if they were dancing in the air. Sora points his keyblade and unleashes his firaga while Yozora was holding his crossbow outward and fires a ball of electricity that was of equal size.

The results of the two spells ended with an explosive. The sword wielders fell to the ground, Sora protected his eyes from the blast, Yozora on the other hand stood in place completely unaffected.

Sora swapped from his wheel of fate to shooting star. Getting back into his keyblade stance.

Yozora looked at Sora and the silverett smirked "You're really strong. I guess he was right."

"Right about what? Who are you talking about?" Sora asked Yozora who he was referring to.

"That doesn't matter. Shall we?" The silver haired swordsman got into a rough sword stance as Sora got into his keyblade stance. The two yelled charging at one another clashing blades as soon as they met.

(Radiant Garden)

Ansem and the others were talking with Kairi. She was explaining to the scientist why she woke up so abruptly. She explained to the scientists that she believed something terrible has happened to Sora, though they were sure but she was, she felt it.

"So you think something has happened to Sora?" Ienzo asked the princess of heart.

Kairi got up standing in front of the three scientists. "I don't think…I know!" She said "I could feel something terrible had happened to Sora. Don't ask me how I know I just do." Kairi held her hand over her chest.

"I suppose I can take your word. You and Sora do have a special connection after all." Ansem replied holding his chin, if she says that something is wrong then there must've been something that has happened to Sora.

"We'll put the research on hold. Kairi, go ahead and inform everyone." She nodded, running out of the room to call everyone else.

Ienzo crossed his arms "I hope that Sora's okay." He said.

Ansem didn't reply as he was worried as well. The bond that those two shared was a special one. So if she says that Sora might be in danger, then he must truly be in some sorta apparel. There was also his hunch about Braig.

He didn't say anything to his fellow researchers, but the feeling of doubt continues to creep upon him. Was he truly gone, or was he really alive.

(Halkeginia)

The air ship reached the port of La Rochelle, everyone who was on got off and they all hugged joyously reunited with their friends and loved ones. Louise, Jessica, Siesta, Julio, and Scarron all got off as well.

"We… made it back." Siesta said dejectedly.

"I'm happy that we're home…" Jessica said as she was close to crying "Sora…Why…" Scarron was comforting his daughter, it was breaking his heart so much to see his daughter and his niece hurting like this.

But none of them could compare to Louise her eyes lost their color as she was standing motionless as if she fainted standing up. This wasn't at all what she planned, it was supposed to be her that was to be a diversion, she was the one who was supposed to have kept everyone out of danger. She should've realized that Sora would not let her die alone.

But she didn't look listed, actually she should have never told him that she was going to the rearguard. And she shouldn't have told him to leave her behind. All she wanted was to protect the people that she loved and Sora who she finally confessed her feelings to. But now that would happen. She held the dead flower tightly and tears ran down her face.

Scarron approached everyone who was crying.

"Let's go to my tavern, we can talk more there. Come, come." He clapped his hands twice and the group of teenagers followed him. Siesta had her hand on the pink haired girl's back as they walked to the fairy inn.

(Tristain)

The streets were filled with people. Scarron and the others had a ride back to Tristan. On the whole ride to his place, everyone didn't say a single word, too much to deal with, he and Jessica handed out glasses of water to Siesta, Louise and Julio. The air was thick and there was also a little bit of tension too.

For Siesta she felt the most at fault, the potion was for Sora to use on Louise yes, but it wasn't supposed to be like this, she wanted them both to be safe. She didn't expect him to make a sacrifice like this.

Louise, was still quiet holding the Éclair D'amour in her hand, she was having a difficult time to show any emotion. This was a reflection of Sora's life if the flower is dead…did that also mean that Sora is… A flash came to her, an image of them in the church and him smiling at her.

She shook her head in denial, there was no way he was dead, there wasn't. She still tried to find some hope in all of this, Sora was stronger than this, he had to believe he was already, she just had to.

"Louise darling, where are you going?" Scarron said as she stood up from her chair.

"To the academy..." The pink haired mage said abruptly leaving the shop. "If Sora is there, I have to be there. And when I see him he's gonna get it."

"Miss Vallière!" Siesta tried to stop her.

"Siesta, leave her alone." Julio said to the black haired girl which made her jump. "Why don't you stay here, I gotta go talk to everyone at the academy."

Julio also got up from his chair and left the store. "Siesta, how about you go home." Scarron said to his niece.

"Huh?"

"Your parents might be worried about you. And I think some time with them might be for the best."

Knowing who much she might actually be hurting, having your parents and siblings comforting her for the time being is the best outcome.

Siesta was reluctant but slowly nodded to her uncle and left her relatives alone with the store. Jessica looked towards her cousin. But as she was trying to hold back her own tears, Scarron gave his daughter a hug. She let out the tears, crying for Sora. He also began to cry.

(Mysterious Tower)

Everyone was called to Master Yen Sid Tower, Terra, Ventus, and Aqua returned from the dark realm, Roxas, Lea, and Xion, and the rest of the Twilight Town gang made their appearance as well. Mickey, Donald and Goofy, and also Riku and Naminé stopped searching worlds for Sora and immediately reported to the tower.

Kairi began explaining to everyone that she had an abrupt awakening as she felt something terrible happened to Sora. As if he was in danger.

Everyone gasped and wore a woeful expression on their faces. Almost six months of searching and now this…Donald was first to make a bolt to the door but he was immediately stopped by Goofy. He flailed around trying to break free but failed to do so.

"Donald, calm yourself." Master Yen Sid said.

The anamorphic duck didn't calm down at all "But master Yen Sid, Sora could be in danger!"

Roxas and Lea stepped forward "Donald's right master. We've been looking for clues on how to get to Sora, but so far all we keep coming up with is a big fat nothing! It's time we do something about this!"

"Yeah Roxas is right." Lea voices out "Can't do anything if you're benched, gotta make your move before you lose."

"So I guess that means we're going with our original plan?" Aqua said to the rest of the keyblade wielders.

They all agreed and nodded together "Alright. So remember, we can't send no more than two of our keyblade wielder." Mickey stepped forward and said. "We might've stopped Xehanort, but we still have Maleficent and Pete to deal with."

"That's right." Terra agreed.

"So, who's first to go?" Ven asked as The brown haired keyblade wielder turned to the Silver haired keyblade master.

"...Let me go first." Riku said as everyone, they were surprised, especially Naminé.

"Riku…" Mickey said with a perturbed tone of voice as the blue haired keyblade master also had a worried look.

"Are you sure that is wise?" Isa said.

Riku had a serious expression, he was fully aware of what he was doing and was fully committed to it. "Sora has always been like a little brother to me. When I was walking down that dark room I thought he would abandon me…But no!" He placed his fist on his chest.

"He didn't leave me at all, even when I was at my lowest. After all the terrible things I did, especially to him, I wanted to believe that I wasn't worth saving. But Sora…he didn't give up on me even when I was trying to push him away. He thought of me, he shed tears for me even when I didn't deserve it. He didn't just save my life but also my soul as well."

"...And now…It's time that I pay back my dues." Riku declared, everyone could see just how much this means to him and no words are going to deter him.

"Well then, If you're going then I am too!" Lea stepped forward with a confident grin on his face.

"You sure Axel? This is important." The silver haired master said.

"Of course I'm sure." The red haired man declared. "This isn't the first time I've saved Sora from a messy situation, I could also think of this as my first step to becoming a keyblade master." He said in a cocky tone of voice.

Kairi stared down at the floor and wondered if-no she didn't wonder at all she thought about all the times Sora had come to her rescue, and the times she had been sidelined in the past… one too many and after what happened to him via Sora using the power of waking one last time to save her, that was the final straw. He saved her so many times and she never got to return the favor, she became a keyblade wielder to help protect Sora, but it ended up being the opposite… No more of this, no more of playing the damsel in distress. It was time she returned the favor.

"Okay, so how do we do this then?" Ventus asked.

"For one we're going to need time to prepare." Aqua said.

"But Sora might need us now!" Donald argued.

Xion stepped towards Donald "Donald, if we're going to help Sora, then we need to be prepared, we're not going to do much if we don't play smart."

"Xion's right." Mickey said standing close to Riku "Remember, we don't know anything about this world, or what kind of dangers we might be facing."

The duck looked at the floor apologizing to everyone, as Goofy came and placed his hand on his shoulder, as he understood how worried he is for Sora, everybody is but they all needed to be calm about this. After a few seconds or what felt like minutes to him Donald asked what else they needed.

Potions being the next thing, Roxas and the rest said that they'll visit the Moogle shop and ask for some potions. And now they will take the time to brush up on their skills also.

"Now where should we train?" Riku said thinking out loud.

That was when Goofy had an idea. "Hey, how's about two train in that forest Axel and Kairi were in?"

"Oh yeah, that forest." Lea said. "I almost forgot, time flows differently there, we could take a couple weeks there, and it would be like no time passed at all."

"That's actually not a bad idea. That sounds good to you master?"

Yen Sid nodded "Very well then, Riku and Lea, the two of you will go. But be sure to proceed with caution for we know nothing about this world." Yen Sid said to the two of them.

"Yes, master Yen Sid." Riku said as everyone respected the decision, "Hope you're ready Lea, cause I'm not gonna hold anything back." Riku challenge.

"Don't worry. I'll show you how the next keyblade master fights." Lea responded

Kairi however didn't want to stay sidelined any more.

"Wait!" The female redhead spoke up. As the were about to head for the door.

"What's wrong Kairi?" Terra asked as she turned to Yen Sid and bowed her head deeply.

"Please master, let me go save Sora in Axel's place!" The red-haired girl said. Everyone in the room was shocked, as well as Yen Sid.

(Resume playing-Nachtflügel)

Sora jumped back firing from his magic launcher. Yozora made a quick dash backwards avoiding the rocket that was flying at him. The keyblade reverted to its shooting star form and Sora's element form reverted as well, turning his clothes back to normal. Sora charges at the silver haired swordsman at full speed.

Their blades met with one another and both continued the duel between them. Yozora pushed Sora back and swung his saber back and forth, making the keyblade wielder go on the defensive again. Sora quickly deflected the energy saber and rushed in striking Yozora with a zantetsuken. The spiky haired brunette soon followed up with his finishing leap and ending with his grand chariot.

Yozora once again teleported from the air and dragged his saber along the ground only to disappear from sight, he did this a second time, the third he slashed at Sora and a bunch of lasers were aimed directly at Sora, he didn't have enough time to block any of them and took the full assault.

"Heal!" He raised his keyblade up and covered his body in a green light.

Yozora appeared to Sora's right "I have to confess, you lasted longer than I had anticipated."

Sora confidence showed itself. "I fought a lot of guys that were powerful. So this is nothing new under the sun."

"I know." Yozora replied "He said that you fought many powerful opponents. And you always came out the victor in battle even when the odds were against you."

"He? Who's he?"

"Someone who said you were born for games like this. He also thinks very highly of you, as well as respecting your strength and courage, so I want to see for myself if he was right."

Sora didn't know what he was talking about, who did he mean, 'games like this?', he wasn't sure what he was talking about. That's when it hit him,

"You were born for these sorts of games."

'Wait…Does he know Luxord?'

"But that doesn't matter, show me your resolve. That's the only way you can win."

Yozora got into a battle ready stance. Sora swapped from his Shooting star back to his Oblivion keyblade.

Yozora then raised his weapon into the air, creating an invisible dome around the rooftop as well as a massive red sphere that shone light in all directions, which gave the landscape the appearance of a galaxy. Sora frowned deeply at this, realizing that his enemy was literally controlling the battlefield at this point, but he knew that he couldn't allow himself to lose either.

The red sphere then began to spin wildly, which apparently caused the gravity to lessen as Sora floated into the air. "Whoa…?" he muttered in confusion, reacting just in time to see Yozora firing a new round of laser towards him. He quickly blocked the two red lasers to protect himself. But two more laser blue one's broke his defenses.

Sora fell to the ground. Clutching in pain. 'Ow…Okay, block the red ones, avoid the blue ones.'

Sora spun his keyblade and entered his dark form. Yozora rushed at Sora and teleported with a mirage; he didn't hit it a second time as Sora put up his Dark barrier blocking the slash and the lasers that followed after.

Sora raised his keyblade and shattered the dark dome with his dark burst knocking the silver haired teen back. Sora jumped into the air and spun his keyblade in the air.

"Try this!" Sora shouted, letting out his Bladefury Eclipse. Thirteen crescent projectiles were sent flying to Yozora from the keyblade. They made direct contact with Yozora halting his movement, Sora then knocked him into the air and unleashed a fury of slashes.

Yozora regained his balance "What a pain."

Before Sora knew it, the entire dome became white as the red orb from above him broke apart. Yozora then appeared from afar, creating four copies of himself out of orange data that sped towards the keyblade wielder with their swords drawn. Sora activated his barrier to shield himself from the clones, before he avoided them using his dark roll to avoid them.

The dome then returned to its galaxy appearance as the lasers chased the boy all over the place.

'Ok. Keep calm Sora, you got this.' He saw Yozora's copies flying towards him and he quickly put up his barrier as they began slashing at him in multiple directions. The orb in the sky has a blue color around it as a strong force of gravity was pushing Sora back. The clones disappeared and afar Yozora began to fire his crossbow at him Sora blocked the red lasers and was avoiding the blue ones, but thanks to the orb in the sky it made it hard for him to move, luckily he was still in his dark form.

The terrain changed again, back to the all white field. With a wave of his sword, Yozora summoned Gigas made out of data Sora was doing his best to avoid them, their large size made them slower to charge at, but the numbers were the actual problem. There were a couple that landed a few below at him but he acted fast and healed the damage.

The atmosphere changed back to its galaxy form and Yozora stood in place, making a dash in front of Sora, was starting to grasp his fighting style as he was anticipating his movement, which was making this battle a little easier.

Yozora dashed at Sora, but the keyblade wielder avoided, but two blue lasers crossed each other behind him hitting his back. Soon after a multitude of Yozora's clones overwhelmed Sora, with a relentless barrage of slashes at him. The keyblade wielder fell to the ground at the dome turned white again and the clones all came down to him with downward slashes.

Sora had to act so he shields himself with his dark guard. Sora found himself being pulled towards the center of the dome as the entire dome began to break apart. The orb turned into a red sphere that was pulling in similar to a black hole. He then gritted his teeth at the sight of Yozora dashing towards him and to cut down his defense though with the first of gravity working against him it was not so easy.

Sora blocked and avoided the silver haired swordsman but he was still being sucked in towards the red sphere. With a strong slash, Sora was knocked into the red sphere as. Yozora cut right through it with his savor resulting in an explosion.

Sora fell to his hands and knees and was trying to catch his breath. His power, his speed, and his abilities, Everything about Yozora was completely different from the opponents he has faced in the past.

Sora slowly got back up.

"You're done."

Hearing Yozora's voice from behind him caused Sora's eyes to widen instantly, before the sound of his crossbow flaring up took over. Thinking that his enemy will fire his lasers at him at point-blank range, he quickly brought up his barrier to block it, only for him to get encased in an orange field of energy.

A look of fear flashed through Sora's face as he could see Yozora smirking outside. He didn't know why, but the boy suddenly felt the urge to sleep as he leaned back and closed his eyes, hovering in the middle of the energy field.

'I feel…so…'

"Your power is mine."

As soon as he said those words, Yozora jumped into the air and slammed his sword on top of the energy field where Sora was, causing it to explode in a bright light.

When the keybearer was finally able to open his eyes, he immediately noticed that he wasn't encased in an energy field anymore and Yozora was nowhere to be found as well. Regaining his composure, he quickly took a look around him to watch out for his opponent, careful not to get blindsided once again. This also led to Sora noticing that his keyblade was also missing, and for some reason, he couldn't summon it. His clothes have also returned to normal as a result.

"What?" Sora was shocked. He looked up in the sky and saw his keyblade in the air but as he raised his hand and tried to summon it. It disappeared in orange data.

"What happened? What did you do?" The keyblade wielder couldn't comprehend what happened.

Yozora appeared right in front of the brown haired keyblade wielder. "Let's see you fare when your own keyblade is used against you, Sora." Yozora smirked as the data from the keyblade began to transfer to his saber. The blade began to transform… The saber started to have the resemblance of a keyblade.

'He stole…the keyblade…? Sora said to himself in complete shock. It was impossible to steal a keyblade from the original wielder… But the moment he saw dozens of copies of Oblivion rising up from the ground like pillars, Sora was forced to run away to avoid them. However, that wouldn't be enough as more keyblades began to surround him, causing him to roll along the ground just to prevent himself from getting caught in Yozora's attacks.

Yozora dragged the keyblade across the ground and launched Sora up and let loose a myriad of attacks, with no keyblade he tried to cast magic to protect himself, but he couldn't. No magic, no keyblade, Sora was completely defenseless.

Sora fell to the ground. Yozora then rushed towards Sora with the intent to kill.

(Academy of magic)

Julio and Louise rode on the backs of two horses that were side by side, standing in front of the main entrance to the academy. Louise immediately jumped off the horse and ran into the school.

Julio calles out her name but it went in one ear and out the other. She was really clinging on to a dim hope that Sora was okay. But the reality is that it was impossible for him to have made it out of that suicide mission without a scratch.

Julio pulled the horse's through the academy entrance, and sent them to the stables. That was when he heard the sound of his name being called. "Julio!" That familiar sound of voice.

The priest turned to the left to see Guiche along with the girls approaching him.

"Julio, it's a pleasure to see you." The playboy blonde said. "You know, I never got to thank you properly for helping me out of the South Gotha."

"It's nothing to preach about. I just did what seemed right." Said Julio.

"Even though I owe you a debt of honor, it's a shame that I couldn't help the people that were still in the city. If I'd stay I'm sure my Valkyrie's would have done a fine job of clearing out the soldiers." Guiche bragged

"Yeah right, knowing you would have been kicking and screaming to get out of the city." Kirche said both bluntly and rudely.

"That is quite offensive, as a noble it is my duty to help those that are unable to help themselves." Guiche retorted.

"Don't kid yourself." Replied the fire mage to the earth mage "Who do you think you are, Sora."

Julio kept his blank expression when she mentioned Sora's name.

"And speaking of my darling, I heard about what happened…I can't imagine what he's going through right now." Julio asked what she meant by that.

"The queen is here." Tabitha said.

"Yeah, she showed up and told us that Louise was sent off on a suicide mission." Montmorency said. "She's already talking about this with Louise's sisters, I don't know anymore more than that."

"I still can't believe that zero would do something like this, she is hard headed and stubborn some days but I can't believe she would go that far." Kirche said. "I'm gonna have to give him all the attention he needs."

"You know, it's strange seeing you so fascinated with him, you usually go from one guy to the next." Guiche said to the red head.

It mainly had to do with how unique Sora is. A young hero who went and saved so many worlds and people from the forces of evil. When exactly do you meet someone as rare as him? Pretty much you would only read about a character like him in stories, but to see someone that matches the qualities of a fantasy hero, it's like a dream come true.

And he was as sensitive as they come, after the loss of Mr.Colbert, had to have been weighing heavily on him and adding Louise's sacrifice on top, Sora has to be hurting more than ever. Kirche wouldn't mind, as long as she remained close to him. And maybe…this could lead to certain 'activities' they could share.

Both boyfriend and girlfriend groaned. Julio let out a sigh as he crossed his arms. Not from what Kirche said, but the fact is they don't know what really happened…And he felt like it was his duty to explain what really happened.

"...Louise is alive." He said as everyone was dumbfounded.

"What?" Montmorency question.

"She's alive, she just went up to her room just a few moments ago."

"But I thought that she stayed behind?" Guiche said before coming to a horrible conclusion "Don't tell me that our nation is going to be invaded!?"

"Maybe…maybe not. I have to tell you all something."

(Louise room)

Louise ran all the way to her room, she stood in front of her door and quickly opened it. She hoped to find Sora but was greeted by her majesty, Henrietta, Agnès, as well as her two sisters.

"Louise!" Both Cattleya and Henrietta immediately began hugging her, tears almost started to form in their eyes.

"Cattleya… your highness…" She said to the two people hugging her as they stopped hugging her.

"Thank goodness you're okay! I'm so glad you're safe!" Cattleya replied as she was worried about her little sister.

"Thank you. I'm okay." She said. As Louise sat on the bed with Cattleya sitting next to her.

"I don't mean to be rude, your highness. But what exactly are you doing here?" Louise asked as Henrietta explained.

"She just finished explaining how you were sent to the rearguard position." Elèanor said.

"How did you find out about that?" Louise said to Henrietta.

The queen explained that when she didn't see her on the ship, she began to worry. That was when she confronted one of the knights that were on board with her. He seemed to know what happened but he was silent. It took Agnès forcing the information out of him, she was horrified to learn that she was given the order to take the rearguard position. she would never consider something like that Henrietta thought to herself, on whose authority would force her to perform such a dangerous task.

It didn't take long to learn that her own generals would dare to use her for such a ploy. It frightened her knowing her best friend was a pawn. Agnès however was utterly disgusted, to her this was no different then what happened to her village. Just using a person to do their dirty work, if they were afraid of a massive army, then they should have done it themselves. She was prepared to give those nobles a lesson in what they should truly be afraid of, until Henrietta stopped her.

And by the time Henrietta decided to get her it was already too late.

"I'm sorry if I made you worry." Louise said, looking down.

"You're right that you had everyone worried!" Elèanor walked forward to Louise and harshly pulled on her face "What were you thinking, accepting a rearguard position. Even if you have improved, ever so slightly, you can't just charge in on a suicide mission!" Elèanor let of of her sister as Louise started holding her face.

"I swear you are nothing but trouble sometimes…" The blonde haired sister said but at the same time, was relieved to see Louise alive and well.

"But what do we do now?" Said Agnès.

"I'm sure we can find a way to deal with the incoming invasion. With Louise safe, I'll see to it that the ones that were responsible for putting her up to this will be punished." Said Henrietta.

"Thank you, Henrietta." Said the middle child, "You've grown into a good queen." Henrietta smiled at Cattleya.

But there was something Elèanor was wondering. What exactly made Louise rethink going up against both an entire army and hordes of monsters.

Elèanor asked Louise this question as everyone could see her expression. "I didn't. I was planning on fighting. But Sora…"

"What about Sora?" Asked the purple haired girl, but that was when she realized that he wasn't here "Actually, where is Sora?"

"I've seen him napping in the field sometimes. I'm sure he's just sleeping somewhere, right?" Agnès looked in Louise's direction as she witnessed her crying.

"Louise!?" Cattleya saw this as Louise was trying to explain about Sora's condition in-between her sobs.

"Sora…he…he"

"Sora did what!?" Outside of the academy, Julio finished explaining to Kirche and the rest what really happened in Albion. And they were shocked to say the least, no shock doesn't even cover how they feel.

"He used a sleeping potion on Louise, and he fought in her place." He said again

"That's crazy!" Montmorency said.

"Darling, why?!" Kirche said, worried

"Reckless." Tabitha replied

Guiche looked at the girls, trying to reassure them that Sora was okay. "C-Come on ladies, don't be so discouraged. I'm certain that Sora is just fine."

"Only a fool would cling onto falsehoods." Juilo said, causing the fire mage. .

She was angry at him, doubting Sora's abilities. "Hey don't sell him short, you've seen him fight, you know what he is capable of!"

"I'm not doubting him. I am simply being realistic, it doesn't matter how powerful Sora is, you all seem to forget one thing, like us he is human, we all have limits and so does he." Julio said. "Even if he did stop an entire army of monsters and soldiers, there is no way anyone would come out with just a few scratches. I could be wrong and he could be alive somewhere, but if I'm right, then it would be better to accept reality."

Julio finished as he began walking away. They all had a look of worry. But there was no way Sora was gone…although, what if he was right. No, they didn't believe it. They had to believe that Sora is fine. They just had to.

(Resume playing-Nachtflügel)

"GAAAAHHH!" Sora rolled across the rooftop in pain, overwhelmed from Yozora's continuous onslaught at this point. After a few minutes of avoiding certain defeat from the data-keyblades that Yozora sent towards him, the silver-haired man himself charged in with his Oblivion-powered sabor and there was no chance for Sora to dodge him this time.

After suffering flurry after flurry of slashes, Sora was surprised to see his keyblade reappearing in his hand, while Yozora's sword turned back into normal. Unfortunately, this wasn't enough for the keybearer to retaliate and make a comeback, because Yozora literally prevented him from doing so due to how fast his opponent was attacking. It reached the point where Sora couldn't keep up anymore and got blown away with Yozora's lasers.

Sora fell flat on the ground. The sword reverted to its original form, the Oblivion keyblade was lying in front of Sora he tried to work through the pain reaching out to try and grab it only for it to get kicked away.

"How…How are you…" Sora was in so much pain he could utter a sentence.

"Sorry, but I don't lose." Yozora simply replied.

Sora was on one knee with pleading eyes "Please…don't do this…I made a promise…to my friends, I can't…"

Yozora didn't listen to his words at all as he brought up his sabor prepared to end this fight once and for all.

"I will save you…" He brought his sword downward.

(Mysterious Tower)

Kairi sat on the stairs looking up at the starry sky. Thinking about earlier.

Flashback

Everyone looked at Kairi who was standing straight after her sudden declaration, she wanted to take Axel's place to rescue Sora.

"Kairi, what did you say?" Olette said as Kairi once again said it.

"I want to take Axel's place. I want to rescue Sora." The female redhead said.

"Kairi, I'm sorry but we can't let you do this. We're charging into a world that none of us have ever been too." Aqua said.

The red haired girl looked at the blue haired keyblade master "I know…I know after what happened I have to continue my training. But I can't just be on the bench again. It was my fault that Sora disappeared, if I had just been stronger than maybe none of this would happen." She was referring to when she was captured by Xemnas.

"Kairi, it's okay." Said Donald.

"Yeah, it was all Xemnas and Xehanort." Goofy replied. "You shouldn't feel so bad about it."

"That's just it, I do. Everytime Sora's been in danger, it's always my fault. I'm always being the damsel in distress, always having him save me while he's always paying the price for it." Kairi said remembering the times Sora saved her at the cost own life.

"I became a keyblade wielder to protect Sora, to be there when he needed me. But I did the exact opposite of what I was trying to do. I've been caught over and over again, and everytime that's happened it was Sora who came to my rescue. So just once I thought I could return the favor."

"But no, again I was captured…A maiden who needed to be saved for being too weak."

"Mistakes happened, No one said you were." Terra replied."

"That's what it's been feeling like." The red haired keyblade wielder said as her somber expression changed into a more serious one "I know that I have to train, but I can't just sit around and wait for the two of you to come home with Sora." Kairi was talking to Lea and Riku.

"Please, Riku, I need to do this! I need to make up for all the times Sora saved me, like he saved you. I'm begging you, take me with you!"

The silver haired keyblade master looked troubled. He understood where she was coming from, but still they were venturing into a world that was new to them. "We're going to a new world that is completely unfamiliar to us. I'm not saying you're weak. But this could be more dangerous than we believe, I think we should play it safe."

"Riku, I owe Sora so much too. He's been to my rescue so many times, and when I was supposed to help I let him and everyone down. I can't keep being the one that always needs to be saved. Just once I want to repay Sora for everything he's done; not just for me, everyone else too. We all wouldn't be here if not for him." Kairi said to her best friend.

She was right, if it wasn't for Sora they all would have been lost. "I don't know about this? Are you really sure you want to do this?" Mickey asks Kairi.

Kairi turned to the king. "I'm one hundred percent serious. I will push myself to the limit if I have to. And I promise, I won't drag you down. So please…Please."

Kairi desperately begged to go and save Sora. They all knew how much this means to her and it was evident that her heart and her mind are made up. Riku stepped forward towards her, seeing the determination in her eyes. Her resolve was strong, and unwavering.

Honestly it reminded him of Sora when he decided to save Kairi. "Are you really sure this is what you want?"

She nodded. "...Then, I'll make sure your ready." He said with a smile.

Everyone was surprised "Riku, you can't be serious about this." Hayner said.

"What about you, Lea?" Ven said to the fire user.

Lea waved it off. "Ahh heck, why not."

"But Axel, are you positive you want to trade places with Kairi?" Mickey said.

"Positive." He agreed "You can see how important this is to her and I thought we should always follow our hearts. If she really wants to go and find Sora, who am I to say no. I'm sure you agree, Riku."

The red haired fire user said as Riku turned to Lea. A smile was plastered on his face. "Yeah I do."

"You too, Riku?" Said Naminé.

"I didn't stop Sora when he decided to make the decision to bring back Kairi, I could see how dead set he was on it. And I see that same look in her, I won't deny I have some reserved feeling, but I think we should let her follow her heart."

Everyone slowly began to come to terms with the decision she chose for herself. Though they had doubts, this seemed like something that was really important to her. Aqua let out a sigh before smiling at Kairi.

"Alright then." Aqua said.

"You too, Aqua?" Ventus replied.

"We can't change her decision. All we can do is support her."

Pretty soon everyone began to accept Kairi's decision. The red haired girl slowly began to smile but there was one more person who should give the final verdict. Everyone turned to master Yen Sid, as he closed his eyes and started stroking his beard.

"Very well then. If you are truly okay with this Lea, then I will allow Kairi to go in your place." The retired keyblade master said as Kairi was smiling from ear to ear.

She immediately bowed towards master Yen Sid, showing him respect. "Thank you master, I swear that I won't disappoint."

Flashback end

Kairi couldn't believe it, she was going to find Sora after all this time. She began smiling up in the sky. 'Just you wait Sora, this time it's my turn to find you.' She thought as an image of Sora appeared in the sky.

"Hey there." She turned around and saw Riku coming down the flight of stairs. He took a seat next to her. "So Yen Sid is getting in contact with Merlin, so first thing tomorrow we should get ready."

"Yes." Kairi agree looking up at the sky. "Thank you again for letting go with you."

"No sweat. But I guess I should have seen it coming. I know you feel the most responsible for what happened to Sora, but I want you to know that all that weight on your shoulders shouldn't be yours to carry alone." Riku told Kairi.

Kairi was hugging her legs "You're right, but that doesn't stop this feeling I have. I'm getting tired of getting rescued by Sora, so this time I'm going to do the rescuing. I want to make up and prove to myself that I can stand by his side when he needs me." Kairi said back to Riku.

"It's only natural you want to be his rescuer. I mean with how much you love him, anyway." Riku teased her a bit.

Just the word love made her face turn as red as her hair and she was sweating buckets. "Lo-lo-lo...Wh-What!?" She stumbled on her words "I-I didn't say that um… I don't mean it like that!? He-We've been friends for a long time, so I'm just worried about him as a friend! That's all!"

Riku started laughing at her "You don't hide it well, we all know he is in love with you. And you love him. I'm I wrong?" Riku said

As Kairi pulled her hoodie over head hiding her beat red face. She won't lie that she always considered Sora a close friend, but somewhere down the road she started to develop feeling for him, she even shared a paopu fruit with him.

"N-No. You're right. But…" Kairi trailed off from her sentence.

"But what?"

She pulled her hood off, her face still a tad crimson. "Do I even have a right to feel this way about him?" She said. "After our fight with the organization, I thought that was it, we finally defeated them and achieved peace, but maybe that was wishful thinking, our peace wasn't earned without a sacrifice. I'm the reason he was banished from our island to start with."

"Sora wouldn't see it like that, none of us do." He tried reassuring her.

"But that's how I see it…I'm scared Riku. I do want to tell Sora how I feel…how he makes me feel! But I'm so afraid of something pulling us apart again."

Riku listened to her words intensively. She was a little more affected by this than he thought.

The silver haired keyblade master let out a single sigh, soon he placed his hand on Kairi's back "You do have a right to tell Sora your feelings."

"After everything that's happened to the both of you why shouldn't you be honest and tell him. There really isn't anything to be scared of."

Kairi held her hand to her chest, What if something happened, like another outside force causing them to be split apart again. "But…"

"I wouldn't worry too much about what'll happen in the future. I've seen just how much Sora is willing to risk anything and everything for you. So it sounded impossible for you not to say anything to him. It's not like he's mad at you or anything either."

"Regardless of what will or won't happen, you have a right to say how you should feel to him. You just have to believe."

As Kairi listened to the words of her silver haired childhood friend, small tears leaked from her eyes as she wiped them away. "Thank you, Riku."

"Don't worry about it." He said, patting her head as she looked up into the sky.

(Halkeginia-Academy of magic)

Henrietta stood frozen. Louise finished explaining to her and everyone in the room how she was able to escape.

"S-Sora…he did what…" She was horrified.

"He used a potion on me…he went to fight in my place…" Louise began sobbing as Cattleya started to comfort her.

"Louise." Cattleya said, holding her sister.

"That moron! What was he thinking!" Agnès cursed.

"This is all my fault! Sora could be dead…because of me."

"Your right, this is your fault, I told you over and over not to partake in this war but you neglected everything father and I said." Elèanor scowled "And look at where your stubbornness got you, that familiar of yours is more than likely dead by now."

"Sister, there is no need to be harsh!" Cattleya said.

"It's the truth though. She constantly has been claiming that she has improved and gotten better, But here she is bawling her eyes like the cry baby she is. But I don't understand why she is so worked up, he was just some familiar and a plebeian as well, so what does it matter if he dies."

Cattleya was about to reprimand her sister.

Louise walked to her eldest sister *Slap* a loud audible slap came across Elèanor's face. The youngest glared at her in anger. Cattleya and Henrietta were shocked but none more so than Elèanor. As a small shade of red appeared on the right side of her face.

"Just some familiar!?" Louise repeated

"Sora wasn't just some familiar, he was special to me, you can't even imagine how much he's done for everyone for me. He was there giving me support, or how much he cared about me! He was the first person that accepted a failure like me, he was kind… he treated me like a person, more than you or our parents ever have!"

"I know he was strange since he wasn't from Halkeginia, but that didn't matter…I loved him because he was always there for me!"

"L-Louise." Elèanor didn't know what to say.

"Get out of here, all of you!" Louise ordered her sisters, Agnès, Henrietta to leave.

"L-Louise!" Cattleya tried to speak to her sister.

"I said leave, now!" Her voice was raised as she was not having either one consult with her. Neither Henrietta knew what to say to her either. Agnès told the three women that it would be best if she was left alone.

Following her suggestion they all left the room and were talking behind the door. "Louise…" Cattleya was sad to see her little sister hurting like this.

"Agnès, I need you to go to Albion." Henrietta said to her knight.

"But your highness-."

"Please!" She said, Agnès could see the fear and worry in her eyes, not just for Louise but for Sora. And the only time she had seen that same expression was when they believed Wales to be dead.

"Understood. I'll bring my knights with me and conduct a search."

"Thank you." Said the queen as Agnès began walking away, but not before thinking to herself.

'Dammit, Sora!' Agnès express her worries as she curled up his palm

Henrietta slowly placed her hand over her heart 'Sora...'

Outside Guiche, Montmorency, Tabitha and Kirche were all looking up at the sky. They were praying for their comrades 'Sora.'

Julio was leaning against a wall with his eyes closed 'Sora.'

In Tarbes, Siesta was being held by her father's tears trickling down her face '...Sora'.

At the charming fairy inn, Jessica was washing dishes as she looked to the side, watching the cook preparing the food she turned back to the dishwashing station 'Sora.'

(Land of the Departure)

In the land of the departure, Terra, Aqua, and Ventus were together, sitting on the grass looking up at the clear blue sky 'Sora.'

(Twilight Town)

Roxas, Xion, and Lea were eating sea salt ice cream as Isa, Hayner, Pence, and Olette joined them as they were watching the sun. 'Sora.'

(Destiny Islands)

Over on the play Islands, Riku was sitting by himself, watching the waves move back and just then Naminé showed up sitting beside him both listening to the sound of the water. 'Sora.'

Kairi crawled into Sora's secret place, the drawing of him and her sharing the star-shaped fruit. She slowly approached the cave drawing and placed her hand on the picture of Sora.

Flashback

"Here!" Kairi gave a paopu fruit to Sora, startling him for a second.

"Huh?"

Kairi smiled at him holding the two star shaped fruits.

"Tomorrow's fight will be our toughest yet. I want to be a part of your life no matter what. That's all."

Flashback end.

(Halkeginia- Academyof magic)

Louise fell on the floor holding the Éclair D'amour in her hand as the tears wouldn't stop.

Flashback

Louise casted her eyes down a bit as she worked up the courage and began holding Sora's hand.

"Our bond as master and familiar is a strong one that is to last a lifetime…but…"

"But?"

"But it's not enough. There's something I want to tell you, something I've been wanting to say for a while." She brought her other hand up to her breast and clenched her fist. "I want to be more than just a friend and more than just your master."

Flashback ends.

(Destiny Islands)

Kairi closed her eyes. 'Sora…There is so much I want to tell you, but never been able to...'

(Academy of magic)

Louise started to pray '...I wanted us to be closer. To have a connection that was stronger than what we had…'

(Destiny Islands)

'You put yourself in harm's way to save me…'

(Academy of magic)

'Teaching me on how to believe in myself more… You gave me courage when everything seemed hopeless.'

(Destiny Islands)

'I'm so grateful for everything you've done, and I'm thankful for this chance to pay you back for everything you have done. I may not know if you're in danger or not, but I know nothing will ever stop you…that's why…

'Why I…'

(Resume playing-Nachtflügel)

Yozora brought down his sword, ready to end this once and for all.

'...Will always believe in you!' The voices of Kairi and Louise rang in Sora's head. Moving out of instinct, just as Yozora's sword was about to hit him, Sora raised his hand as a new keyblade appeared in his hand blocking the attack. The keyblade resembled his Kingdom key but the guard was green and orange with a green gem below the rain guard.

This was the keyblade Dawn till Dusk.

"What?!" Yozora exclaimed out of shock, his eyes widening before he glared at the keybearer down below. He tried pushing in more strength, but Sora already held the Dawn till Dusk keyblade with both hands to defend himself. "Impossible…" How are you still able to move?!"

Sora raised his head slowly, looking up at Yozora with a fierce glare of his own. As he was now standing up from his kneeling position as the two opponents were in a deadlock, their weapons clashing against one another in a battle of strength.

Yozora's eyes widened when Sora suddenly disappeared in front of him in a blur. Still taken over by shock, he was unable to sense the boy's presence from behind him as Sora slammed the keyblade into the ground and grabbed onto its handle, before spinning around with his feet managing to hit Yozora from the side, sending him skidding across the ground.

"You still have some fight left in you…" Yozora scoffed as he quickly recovered and narrowed his eyes at the brunette.

"Sorry, but I don't plan on going down. I have friends waiting for me..." He said, thinking of his from back home to Halkeginia. Riku, Roxas, Ventus, Xion, Mickey, Donald, Goofy, Aqua, Terra, Axel, Saïx, Hayner, Pence, Olette, Guiche, Montmorency, Tabitha, Jessica, Henrietta, Agnès, and Julio.

"... And people that I really care about." He finished. With Kairi, Kirche, Siesta, and Louise all, of them smiling at him. He gripped the Dawn till Dusk tightly as she spun it around, entering his second form.

"Everyone I love is wanting so I can't lose here!" Sora shouted, pointing his keyblade at him.

Yozora clicked his tongue in annoyance. "Fine then, let's see what this power of yours can get you." Yozora's body was engulfed in a red aura as she disappeared before reappearing in front of Sora. Slashing his sabor at him, the young keyblade wielder blocked the attack before it could connect.

Sora used his counterslash, sending Yozora flying into the air as Sora unleashed an aerial combo and ending it with a magnet splash.

Yozora teleported back to back while unleashing a multitude of attacks while also mixing lasers in the mix. He teleported back and his saber had a blue color to it Sora knew what that mean and just as he slashed his sabor Sora quickly rolled out of the way, as he appeared in front of him with a overhead slash Sora used his reflect spell blocking the attack and doing some damage was well.

Both the swordsman and the keyblade wielder backed away from each other.

'Darn it! I'm starting to get the feel of how he moves. But his teleportation is a problem, I need to keep him in place…but how?' Sora thought as he stayed on the defensive from Yozora's attacks.

Sora knew that he was getting tired and so was Yozora. It was obvious that neither of them could keep this up any longer. One of them had to finish this fight and soon. Cause he wasn't sure how much more they could take.

However, what could Sora do to keep Yozora still? He desperately tried to figure out something until something clicked in his mind.

Flashback.

(Keyblade Graveyard)

They all traveled through the cave a dust clouds rolled in as a figure was standing motionless in the dusty air.

As the clouds of dirt started to clear out, Ven was surprised to see who the person was, standing so clearly.

"Terra!" Ven said surprise to see him.

"Ven!" Aqua tried to stop him.

When Ven got close, he grabbed Terra's hand and said with relief, "Terra! We found you!"

Terra didn't respond. He just looked at him with a blank face.

Aqua came up to them and said worriedly, "Terra, please say you're in there."

Terra then looked at Aqua and his eyes widened. Seeing this, Aqua grabbed Ven's shoulder and pulled him away. Everyone then ran up to them.

"What gives, Aqua?", asked Ven.

"I know that you're not him.", she said. This surprised Ven. "Now, let our friend go!"

After hearing this, Terra smiled while looking down. Suddenly, his brown hair started to turn white. When he opened his eyes, his eye color was yellow.

Ven looked heartbroken while the others were cautious.

"He is their thirteenth.", said Mickey.

While there was a dark aura around him, Xehanort smirked. "Today is the day you all lose."

"What?!", question Aqua.

"Before you even face the thirteen, every last one of you will be torn heart from body. But fear not." He then summoned his Keyblade. "The X-blade will still be forged."

Sora then said with a serious look, "We're not gonna lose to you."

Xehanort smirked again and disappeared, surprising everyone. Everyone looked around, but there was no trace of him.

Suddenly, a large amount of dust was speared into the air, right in front of Aqua and Ven.

The dust started to clear away. They saw Xehanort with his Keyblade and it seems that he was going to attack Aqua and Ven but his Keyblade was blocked by something. When the dust disappeared, Xehanort saw with shock an armor figure with a Keyblade, blocking his Keyblade.

Xehanort was struggling on pushing the figure back with his Keyblade.

"Who are you?", Xehanort asked furiously.

"Got you, Xehanort.", said the armor figure.

The figure then pushed Xehanort away, making him jump far away from him.

Xehanort was struggling on pushing the figure back with his Keyblade.

"Who are you?", Xehanort asked furiously.

"Got you, Xehanort.", said the armor figure.

The figure then pushed Xehanort away, making him jump far away from him.

"Terra?", wondered Aqua.

"This is impossible!", said Xehanort.

The armor figure started to walk towards Xehanort and said, "How I've waited for this moment."

The figure swung his Keyblade to his side and it began to glow. The Keyblade grew longer, which it has now transformed into a whip. The figure whipped his Keyblade hard towards Xehanort and the tip of his blade wrapped around Xehanort's Keyblade.

(Twist of Isolation)

Xehanort fell to the ground after being defeated by Sora, Aqua and Ventus. Aqua and Ven raced to aid Terra in the hope to snap him back to his senses and free him from Xehanort's clutch.

"Aqua…Ven…" Terra said, having a brief moment of control.

"Terra, please…" Aqua tried to reach out to him.

"Come back…Terra!"

Terra gripped his head trying to fight back the possession.

"Terra! Your friends are here!" Sora called out as he exploded darkness loomed underneath him. Chains of darkness wrapped around everyone. They desperately tried to break free as The silver haired man slowly stood up. Covering his face with his hand smiling menacingly.

"You'll never be able to break these chains. They're our bonds."

End flashback

A whip…chains…bonds. Sora looked down at the bottom of his keyblade as he stared at the keychain at the bottom of the rainguard. Slowly Sora started to get an idea.

Yozora took to the air and fired his lasers at Sora, who raised his keyblades and blocked it. Yozora then dash still in mid air towards Sora he blocked that attack as he saber appears behind the keyblade wielder. Sora rolled out of the way and blocked the saber. Sora quickly followed after him by using his flow motion to gain speed in the air Sora did a rising spiral and followed with a radical blast, ending with a hurricane blast and an aerial finisher.

Yozora landed on the ground And on point the silver haired teen eleported again. Sora took a deep breath and closed his eyes. He waited for the moment to strike back. Trusting his instincts Sora smirked as he turned around and held his keyblade in a reverse grip, a long golden chain with a heart at the end appeared at the but of the keyblade

The chain extended outward from the keyblade, the chain wrapped around Yozora.

"What!?" That was all he could say. Sora pulled the chain towards him and casted his firaga magic, sending Yozora back.

He fell onto his knee thanks to the close range attack. Yozora was surprised to see that happen,

"How. How did-!?"

"Hate to tell ya. But you aren't the only one with tricks." Sora said being just a bit sassy. "You are not going to stop me from trying to find a way home."

Yozora growled at him and rushed towards him with a full assault but Sora intercept with his own attacks he started swinging his keyblade left and right and whenever Yozora would teleport, Sora countered with his chain and using magic in the mix. The fight went on until the silver haired teen fell on one knee he was feeling exhausted. He lost his red aura.

"Am I…losing." He said to him this was impossible.

"What's wrong? That's all you got?" Sora taunted.

This frustrated him when Yozora rushed to him, Yozora gripped his crossbow tight as he fired the same energy field that allowed him to take Sora's keyblade earlier. But he missed.

Sora took the opportunity to end this fight. Launching Yozora into the air, Sora used his Ars Arcanum, swinging his keyblade and ending it with a downward slash.

(End-Nachtflügel)

Sliding across the platform Yozora tried picking himself up as he was lying on his back struggling to get up "I… messed up…" Yozora murmured to himself before losing consciousness. Sora landed on the ground as he took a few deep breaths, he slowly walked towards Yozora. Only for him to collapse as well from both sheer exhaustion and from Yozora's powerful attacks.

What felt like minutes went by as Sora regained consciousness and slowly stood up. Yozora was already standing tall. Sora ready himself just in case he was planning to attack again, but that's when Sora noticed his left hand starting to dissolve into blue light.

"Your hand…" Sora said out of consideration what was about to happen to him.

"Yours too." Yozora said as Sora's right hand was doing the same thing, his right hand, and Yozora's left. It's as if they were mirroring each other.

"I guess…that my powers aren't needed yet." Yozora said.

Sora didn't understand what he was saying "What do you mean?"

Yozora looked up from his hand and stared at Sora "Nevermind." That was all he said as he smiled at Sora.

The roof was engulfed in a bright blue light. The final world reverted back to its original form as two lights danced around each other before parting ways.

"Commander! Commander!" Yozora woke up as he was riding in the backseat of a car.

"Impressive, is it not?" The man in front of him, who appeared to be the driver of the car, spoke in a proud voice as he clearly knew of what just transpired.

The silver-haired teenager crossed his arms and turned his gaze out the window.

'I've been-'

'I've been having these. Weird thoughts lately…'

'Like, is any of this for real or not.'

'None of this makes… sense to me.'

(Sora)

Sora was sleeping alone in an unknown bed and his eyes began to stir. Sora struggled a bit to open them after a while Sora finally managed to open his eyes. He looked up to be staring at the ceiling.

"What…" He sat up, his gummiphone lying next to him. He looked around at the unfamiliar surroundings. It looked like a cabin or something like an inn. "Where…where am I?"

"Hey he's awake."

"Someone go get her." Sora turned his head and saw a bunch of kids staring at him.

They all quickly hid until a boy with light brown hair and gray eyes peeked his head out. He slowly began to approach Sora.

"Uh. Hello." Sora greeted

"Hi." The boy said "Are you okay?"

"Yeah, I'm fine." Upon inspection he looked pretty young, maybe around eight or nine. But what made him out was what he was wearing around his neck.

Sora gasped "Hey! My necklace!?" The boy quickly ran away Sora tried to stop him but he ran off too fast. He wasn't trying to scare the boy, he was just trying to ask for his necklace back.

"Oh man."

"Don't worry about Julius." A soft voice reached Sora's ears as he turned to the door where the children hid. They all slowly came out of hiding and a young girl greeted him.

End.
