The turtles and the cloaked dragon stared down at each other, weapons ready, daring either side to make the first move. Everything was silent for over a minute when the red masked turtle, Raphael, spoke up.
"We gonna do this or what?" Said the impatient turtle.
"Remember, guys, we take him together. Raph, you proceed slowly on the left." Commanded Leonardo.
"Oh I'm taking him now!" Shouted Raphael as he rushed at their opponent.
"Raphael no! No!" Yelled Leo.
The sai wielding turtle attacked furiously with his weapons and feet but the opponent dodged every move and was then immediately struck in the stomach and then the back of the head by the dragon's staff, knocking him unconscious.
"Poor choice, Raphael." Mikey said.
Donatello then leaped forward twirling his Bo staff in front of the disguised being.
"You may be good with a staff, but so am I." Said Donnie.
The two exchanged attacks with their staffs. They blocked and dodged each other's moves. Donnie lasted over a minute before Chen struck the turtles back and followed by sweeping his legs, knocking the purple masked terrapin to the ground.
"Man, this dude's good." Said a dumbstruck Mikey.
"Michelangelo, focus! Don't underestimate this guy." Warned Leo.
"Don't worry, bro. I'm hard to hit." Replied Mikey.
Michelangelo then front flipped in front of the dragon, twirling his nunchucks.
"Prepare to be shell shocked!" Said Mikey.
The orange masked turtle somersaulted over Chen when the latter tried to strike him. Chen tried to attack a few more times, but the turtle evaded his every move. Mikey then tried to strike Chen overhead with one of his nunchucks but the latter caught the weapon with his own, then yanked it into the air out of Mikey's hand. The dragon then followed with a front kick to the turtles stomach knocking him back. He then dropped his staff and caught the falling nunchuck and held his new weapon in front of him. Mikey watched as Chen demonstrated some skills with his own nunchucks.
"Oh. A fellow chucker eh?" Asked an amazed Mikey as he showed off his own nunchuck skills.
The two circled each other slowly while twirling their weapons. Chen rushed in but actually faked an attack so Mikey could engage. Unfortunately for the fun loving turtle, it left him open for the dragon to strike him across the face and followed with a series of kicks to knock him to the ground.
"Enough!" Shouted Leo leaping in front of the disguised dragon looking very angry.
"Who ever you are, you better back the hell away from my brothers!" Yelled Leo.
Chen threw down Mikey's nunchuck and picked up his staff and detached it into two sticks. Leo's eyes narrowed and stared into the blue eyes of his opponent. Both fighters circled each other, daring one another to make the first move.
They both rushed at each other swinging their weapons. Both warriors blocked and dodged each others attacks. Both seemed evenly matched but after a while the dragon managed to score a few hits by thrusting his sticks against his plastron and striking across his face. The blue masked soon retaliated by slashing Chen's right arm, making him bleed and wince in pain. Both warriors stared down at each other and leaped towards one another. They connected in midair striking with their weapons. When they landed, the dragon stumbled and dropped his sticks and looked down to see two large cuts across his torso, bleeding.
The other turtle brothers soon regained consciousness, picked up their weapons, and witnessed the fight.
"Did we get him?" Asked Donnie.
The dragon however slowly got back up and revealed his wounds already healing and scaly features underneath his torn disguise.
"What the shell?" Said Raph.
"That was the second coat this week!" Chen snarled as he threw off his ruined disguise.
The turtles gasped in shock at what they're seeing.
"Holy shit, he's some kind of lizard?!" Mikey asked
"More like a dragon, and a Chinese one at that. Look at his horns and tail as well as whiskers." Explained Donnie.
"Enough talk! Let's settle this!" Yelled Raph.
Chen wiped some of his blood from his newly healed torso and tasted it before spitting at the side.
"Attack!" Commanded Leo.
The turtles rushed at him all at once. Donnie approached him from the right side raising his staff, but Chen caught the weapon and kicked him in the face. Mikey tried to surprise him from behind, but the blue dragon sensed this and countered with a back hook kick. Raph rushed in trying to stab at Chen with his sai, but the latter evaded him and rapidly jabbed him in the face followed by a one inch punch to his plastron knocking him down. Leonardo came in from above about to attack with an overhead strike with his katanas. But the blue dragon brought up his fists and hardened them by coating them with blue ice, blocking the swords.
"What the fuck?" Said a shocked Leo before Chen took him down with an uppercut.
Chen looked around at the defeated ninja turtles.
"I did not want to hurt you. But next time you get in the way of my business, it will be the last time." The dragon warned.
"I'm afraid it is their business now, my student." Said a voice.
Chen and the turtles looked over and saw his master Lei in the far end of the alley.
"Master? But aren't you supposed to be running your restaurant?" Asked a confused Chen.
"I closed early. Listen, my pupil, we may not know these creatures but they are on the side of good. And so we all share the same mission: to bring peace and justice from the shadows." Said Lei.
"How do you know that, Master?" Asked Chen.
"I heard many good rumors about these turtles. But anyway, I believe we should go with them and answer their questions. Well need their help in our mission just as they will need ours. Whatever the triads are planning, affects these four warriors as well. So we will need them to defeat our enemy." Said Lei.
Chen looked over at Leo.
"We will go with you. And we will answer all we could." Said Chen.
"Our lair is in the sewers. We just have to find the nearest manhole." Explained Leo.
Everyone then went over the nearest manhole to trek towards the turtles home. They will have lots to talk about.
This was the one of the most epic fights I've written!
Chen kicked some serious shell, literally.
Chen and his master agreed to go with the turtles so they'll talk about who they are.
Coming next chapter, Chen Lung's origin is finally revealed! As well as his whole mission involving the triads.
The part where Raph rushed in is a reference from Star Wars attack of the clones when Anakin rushed after Count Dooku before getting incapacitated.
And the part where Chen "borrows" one of Mikey's nunchucks and uses it against him is sort of a reference to the original tmnt movie from the 90s specifically where Mikey says "A fellow chucker".
