It was nighttime as Central Park. Everything was quiet. Very few people were present, walking along a path in the park. One citizen in particular was an old Asian man in a trench coat and a fedora hat. He also wore glasses. The man was walking in a straight line in a rather hasty paste. Occasionally he felt at his side as if he was trying to hide something.

"Hey! Old man!" Shouted a voice behind the citizen.

The old man looked behind him to see four Triad thugs emerge from large bushes on the side of the path. He turned forward only see three more appearing in front of him. They were all brandishing their weapons, from knives to machetes, and slowly moved in towards the old man.

"What do you want?" The man asked with only a small amount of fear in his voice.

"Take one good guess, geezer." Said one of the gangsters.

"If it's my wallet you seek, I will give it to you without trouble." Replied the old man.

"Oh we're not here for your money, old man. We're here for a really old roll of paper you got tucked in your coat!" Said another thug.

The man suddenly felt his heart race. The thugs knew what he was carrying. And it was something very important. The old man then narrowed his eyes.

"Never! I would rather die than hand it over!" Hissed the old man.

"Suit yourself, geezer." Said a gangster as the thugs all walked towards the man very threatening manner.

"Yo, Triad sum bugs!" Said a voice and everyone turned to the source.

A man with long black hair in a red tank top and blue jeans. He was also wearing tan gloves and a white hockey mask. He was carrying a sports bag on his back carrying sports equipment. In his hands was a hockey stick.

The thugs didn't look impressed while the old man was simply shocked.

"Isn't he the one called Casey Jones? The one who battles the Purple Dragons?" Asked one of the thugs.

"He is. But he will not be a problem for us, for we are not like the Purple Dragons." Said another.

Casey stepped forward twirling his hockey stick.

"Picking on old people is a big no no in this town. Now it's time to teach you all a lesson!" Said the hockey masked vigilante.

"Fool! We are an entirely different league compared to your Purple Dragon enemies, leave now while you still draw breath!" Said one of the gangsters.

"And let you mug some geezer!? Like hell!" Replied Casey.

"Kill him!" Commanded one thug as all the gangsters charged at the vigilante.

"Gongala! Gongala!" Yelled Casey as he rushed into battle.

Unbeknownst to them, a shadowy figure with fiery red eyes was hiding in the tall bushes witnessing the confrontation.

"That fool! He doesn't know what he's gotten himself into!" She thought.

Two Triads came at Casey from the front with knives, but the latter swatted them across their faces with his hockey stick making them fall to the ground. Immediately, another thug came charging with a machete raised over his head, but Casey blocked the attack with his stick and kicked him back in the stomach. Suddenly one of the gangsters took out a chain and threw it around at Casey's stick then yanked it out of his hands followed with an elbow to his chest, knocking him back.

"Hockey season is over fool!" Said the thug.

"Yeah? Well baseball is in season!" Said Casey as he took out a baseball bat.

The chain wielding gangster swung at the vigilante but the latter dodged the attack and swung his bat at the thug's face, breaking his nose as well as his teeth. Casey turned around and saw four more triads with hatchets and machetes in their hands.

"You are about to regret that, you piece of shit!" Said one of the gangsters.

"Oh yeah!? Well I beg to differ!" Said Jones as he took out a second baseball bat.

One thug with a machete rushed in only to get hit in the stomach then back of the head by Casey's bats. Two hatchet men then rushed forward and swung their weapons but the vigilante blocked them then proceeded to head but one of the thugs and used his free bat to smash the other's testicles.

The old Asian man saw this as his chance to run but when he turned around to make a run for it, a triad impales him with a machete!

"Where to you think you're going, geezer?" Asked the thug before he pulled his weapon out of his victim and the latter falls to the ground.

"No!" Yelled Casey before the vigilante was suddenly struck in the face, knocking off his mask and knocking him to the floor.

The thugs then proceeded to beat and kick Casey, giving him a number of bruises.

"We told you you'd regret messing with us! Now we're gonna finish you, nice and slow!" Said one of the gangsters.

"And you are about to regret bringing harm to him and that old man!" Said a feminine voice behind them.

Everyone turned to see a figure in a trench coat wearing a sun hat and a yellow scarf glaring at them with her bright red eyes.

One of the thugs walked towards her with a machete.

"Best you mind your own business lady. Or you're next!" Threatened the thug.

"I am not so easily frightened." Said the mysterious woman.

The thug tried to stab her, but the latter quickly grabbed his weapon arm and broke his arm with her elbow, followed by a punch to the side of the head, knocking him out.

"The fuck!? Kill this bitch!" Yelled one of the gangsters before they rushed after the woman.

One thug tried to attack the lady with a hatchet, but the latter caught his arms and put him in a hold in front of her. Another thug with a machete rushed after her but the lady used the thug in her hold as a human shield and the machete wielder accidentally sliced his comrade's throat! The woman dropped the dead thug and palm thrusted the other in the face, pulverizing the skull and killing him. Another gangster tried to grab her legs with chains, but the lady flipped and kicked the thug unconscious midair.

Casey groaned from his beating and looked up to see the mysterious woman defeating the triads.

"Damn! Who is this chick?" Casey wondered.

Two triads tried to attack the woman with knives, but she grabbed their hands and twisted them making them yell in pain and drop their weapons then jump kicked them in their faces, knocking them out. The final gangster tried lunging at her with his machete but the lady quickly disarmed him and used the machete to stab the thug through his midsection, ending his life.

The woman walked towards Casey offered her hand, which Casey gladly accepted.

"Are you alright? You should know the triads are not to be trifled with." Said the woman.

"I'll be fine. I've fought worse." Replied "Say, I oughta thank you for saving my ass with all that Kung Fu. That was cool! Where did you learn all that? Who even are you and how did you know much about the triads?"

"My name is Maggie. And I have a bad history with them. That is all you should know." Replied Maggie.

"You..." said a rasping voice.

The two looked over and saw the old man on his back his his chest stained with blood and blood pouring out the mouth.

They rushed over and Casey was about to carry him but the man grabbed his shoulder and shook his head.

"My life does not matter. But this does." The dying man said as he reached into his coat and pulled out a red scroll casing.

"It belongs to you, take it! Protect it. Use it. The triads mustn't get their hands on it." Said the old man, looking at Maggie. "May. Your fires. Bring this evil. To justice."

The old man breathed his last and died. There was silence for a moment before Maggie spoke up.

"I must go. This scroll must be protected." Said Maggie.

"I have some friends who can help. They dealt with this sort of thing before." Said Casey.

"As you wish. Where should we meet?" Asked Maggie.

"My wife owns an antique shop called Second Time Around in Uptown Manhattan. We can meet there." Casey said.

"Agreed. Let us leave before the police arrive." Said Maggie

Casey gathered his equipment before he and Maggie headed towards the shop.

Deep in the lair of Chen Lung, the Blue Dragon himself meditated in front of his father's shrine. His face suddenly twitched as he was receiving a vision.

He found himself standing in a dark void. Suddenly suddenly flames started igniting all around him. In the fire in front of Chen was a silhouette of a bird walking towards him.

Chen woke up startled with the shell cell ringing in his pocket. He took it out and answered it.

"Chen, it's Donnie. We have something you might want to see. Meet us at an antique shop called Second Time Around in Uptown Manhattan." Said Donnie.

"Ok. I'm on my way." Said Chen before he hung up.

He thought for a moment about his vision.

"Could it mean..?" Thought Chen as he got up and prepared to leave for the shop.

So Casey Jones makes his entrance! And not a bad one too.

Wondering who that mysterious woman is? And what's the deal with that red scroll? Well that's for me to know and you to find out!

And can anyone guess what Chen's vision means? Who ever gets it gets a brownie.

This is MergingEmperor7, bowing out.
