CHAPTER 3: THE CRACK BEGINS TO SHOW

Lincoln was shocked to see an unusual sight on the 2nd floor hall, especially in the morning.
The Loud brothers were already awake. But instead of waiting in line for a bath, they played… hockey!?
Boy Lynn Jr: "…Lynn Junior is holding the pin! And we can now see the Louds forming a great wall before him! Is this going to be the end of LJ the penguin!?" [plays the announcer while remaining on alert]
Leif: "Hehe! Definitely!" [plays hockey, on guard]
Loki: "You got nowhere to run now!" [plays hockey, on guard]
Lane: "Tar and feathers are waiting for you, so no need to rush! Hahaha! Get it?" [on guard]
The rest of them were also on guard, stopping Boy Lynn on his glorious way.
Lincoln: "What the heck!? Lori will be absolutely mad if she sees this!" [still watches the little hockey match by his bedroom's door]
Boy Lynn Jr: "Here we go! The penguin bursts like a rocket! Aaaaaaaand… he's on the sky high!" [leaps through his brothers]

Lexx: "GET HIM!" [angry, points at Boy Lynn]
In the meantime, within Lori & Leni's bedroom…
Lori: "…Huh? Loki & Loni are already awake? And what's all those noises out there?" [the suppressed voice comes from her closed bedroom]
Lincoln: "Oh my God-" [notices Lori's voice]
Boy Lynn Jr: "No one gets in the way of Lynn! As he's already by the ring! Aaaaaaaaaaaand~!" [runs into the bathroom door]
Lori: "Alright, sisters! 5 minutes before bath time!" [opens her bedroom door]
Lincoln: "No- no- NO!" [panics as Boy Lynn is about to ram Lori]
Lori: "I'll be taking bath first-" [her head still looks backwards as she heads out]
Lincoln: "LORI! WATCH OUT!" [immediately shouts at Lori]

Everyone gasped. Boy Lynn landed head-first, straight on to Lori's now bruised face. As they fell on the floor right at the crash course, Lincoln hurried to give aid.
Lincoln: "Lori! Are you okay!?" [comes to Lori]
Boy Lynn Jr: "Uuugh…" [feels dizzy]
Lori: "Uuh… You- Do you really think I'm okay after this crazy kid literally landed straight on my face!?" [angry, points at Boy Lynn]
Boy Lynn Jr: "Uuh- Lo- Lori!? I'm- I'm sorry!" [shocked in fear after seeing raged Lori]
Lori: "And what the heck are you guys doing on the hall!?" [turns at Loki and his brothers]
Loki: "Huh? We're playing hockey ball, sis. Duh!" [shrugs]
Luke: "It's a fun way to have a stretch! Right, bro?"
Boy Lynn Jr: "Hell yeah!"
Leif: "I love the smell of warm sweat in the morning!" [smiles]
Lincoln: "Well, thanks God you're still in one piece. Let me help you." [helps Lori stands up]

Lori: "And you guys literally should understand that this is bath time! You should have waited in line in front of the bathroom, not turn this hall into a playground and make some ruckus!" [still mad at the Loud brothers]
The little hectic outside woke up the rest of Loud sisters.
Lana: "What's all this fuss?" [yawns, opens her bedroom door]
Lisa: "Can you all undisciplined humans silence for a minute? Leon and Lily are still on their REM stage!" [opens her bedroom door]
Luna: "Me first! ME FIRST!" [from inside her room]
Luan: "Screw you and your corkscrew metal! Me first-" [wrestles with Luna, opens her room door]
Luna: "-!?" [stops fighting after seeing the havoc outside]
Luan: "…Heeeeeey, you guys are already awake!" [points at the Loud brothers with questioning face]
Lucy: "What are you guys doing?" [curious]
Lars: "Playing hockey ball."
Lynn Jr: "What the-!?" [surprised]
Lynn Jr: "Hey! You boys are uncool! Why didn't you invite me!? I wanna play hockey ball too!" [mad]
Lucy: "Sigh… I knew this would eventually happen." [facepalm]
Leni: "Lori! You're not taking a bath yet? And… what's that with your face?" [peeks from her room, clueless]
Lori: "I was about to, when this boy, out of nowhere, headbutted me right on my face!" [already mad]
Boy Lynn Jr: "Hey! I'm sorry, okay!? Can we get straight now!?"
Lola: "And you guys are not hurrying into the bathroom!" [mad as well]
Lexx: "Huh? Sorry Lola, but bath? Pffft! Who still takes bath in this century anyway?" [chuckles]
Lola: "What did you just-" [angry]
Boy Lynn Jr: "Yeah! Bath is for losers!" [laughs]
Leif: "And how about you girls try it too!" [laughs]

Lana looked at them with a peculiar look.
Lana: "Hey… Don't you guys feel that these boys are like… Me and Lynn?" [gives a raised eyebrow face]
Lynn Jr: "Hey, you're right!" [aware]

Literally having enough with all that nonsense, Lori took a killing blow.
Lori: "Yeah! Lana and Lola are right! This is outrageous!" [forcefully snatches the hockey ball from Boy Lynn]
Boy Lynn Jr: "Ah- HEY!" [surprised]
Loki: "Hey! What's that for!?" [surprised, mad]
Luke: "That's rude of you, pal!" [mad]
Lane: "Yeah! Not funny at all!" [mad]
Lori: "Oh, sorry. Actually, I mean no harm nor interruption on your 'morning sports program' or whatever that is." [shrugs at Loud brothers]
Lori: "But if you want to do anything else rather than morning bath, DO IT OUTDOORS!" [points at the stairs, angry]
Luna: "Yeah! We all want to take a bath!" [angry]
Luan: "This hall is already booked beforehand! Haha! Get it?" [jokes]
Luan: "But seriously! You can't play here at the morning like this!"
Seeing there's no other choice, Loki decided to play along. But he and his brothers wouldn't lightly take this defeat.
Loki: "Hmph! Well, if that is what it is! Come on guys, let's get out of here! What a buzzkill…" [bad mood, heads down to the 1st floor]
Loni: "Hey! Loki! Wait up!" [follows Loki]
Boy Lynn Jr: "You know what? Now I'm thinking twice about my regret for crashing into your face!" [bad mood, follows Loki]
Lori: "Wh- WHAT!?" [mad]
Now, the Loud brothers, except Lincoln and perhaps Leon (because he was still sleeping), headed outside while holding their grudge. Leni felt worried.
Leni: "Lori… Do you- Do you think, you have gone overboard? They just want something to play!" [feels pity on the Loud brothers]
Lori: "We can't let them ruin our morning, Leni. This is final. Someone can get hurt, while all we want is just a fresh bath!" [being bold with her decision]
Lola: "Lori's right! We have already wasted too much time here because of some wretched and no-good troublemakers-" [angry]
Lana: "Lola! Cool it off! They are our guests, remember?" [holds Lola]
Lola: "I'M NOT GONNA FORGIVE LEXX AND THAT BASTARD PONYLESS LYNN FOR CALLING ALL OF US LOSERS!" [boiling]
Lori: "Besides… who the heck wants to play hockey ball at 7 'o morning? Weirdo." [shrugs]
Lucy: "Lynn." [gives a jumpscare]
Loud Sisters: [shocked]
Leni: "Which Lynn? There's like 2 Lynns here!" [confused]
Lucy: "Both of them."
Lisa: "Correction. There's actually 4 Lynns here, Leni. You forgot our and their father."
Leni: "Wow… You just blew my mind!"

Lola: "WHAT THE HECK HAVE THEY DONE TO OUR LOVELY BATHROOM!?" [opens the bathroom door wide so the sisters can see it too]
Loud Sisters: [gasps]
Their lovely bathroom had turned into a terrible place. A mount of tissue rolls, laundry piles, and countless stinky stains just about everywhere.
Lincoln: "My God…" [gasps]
Luna: "This is… This is even more gross than both Lana and Lynn combined!" [feels nausea instantly]
And the closet… You don't want to look at it.
Lana: "Ewwwwwwhh… Who is such a stinky bastard who does not even want to dump his own pee!?" [feels nausea]
Luan: "Alright, I got to admit, this is much worse than Lucy's idea to paint the whole bathroom black!" [angry]
Luan: "Oops! I mean- Sorry, Lus… No offense." [scared as Lucy is just besides her]
Lucy: "Sigh… You know what? I agree with you this time." [exhales]
That was enough to piss the whole girl.
Leni: "Now I'm feeling guilty for feeling pity on those jerks!" [mad]
Lori: "How are we going to have a nice bath if they vandalized our bathroom like this!?" [pissed]
Lisa: "They have gone too far!" [mad]
Lola: "We ought to teach them a lesson!" [angry]
Lori: "You are right! Those boys are not going to walk away after everything-"
Fearing that they would throw some punches, Linka immediately interfered with the blazing mass.
Linka: "Wait! Stop! You can't do this!" [interrupts Lori]
Lori: "What!? You see it all with your own eyes, don't you!? This is ALL ON YOUR WILD AND UNDISCIPLINED BROTHERS! And still, you're defending them!?" [furious at Linka]
Linka: "Listen! They still have no idea about the rules of this house! My brothers might be thinking that they still are on our house back on our realm! Please, give them another chance!" [begs]
Seeing things were about to go out of control, Lincoln jumped in as well to quell them.
Lincoln: "Linka is right! There is no use of fighting! Fighting won't fix our bathroom!" [defends Linka]
Lola: "What do you mean kicking their asses is useless, Lincoln!?" [angry, forcefully grips on Lincoln's collar]
Lincoln: "Ugh- I mean, instead of wasting our energy to inflict even more damage, how about we use them for something progressive? We can start by this bathroom!" [scared to see Lola on fire]
Lisa: "Wildly undisciplined sapiens... they are still uneducated about healthy routines." [sighs]
Leni: "Lincoln's right. We have to fix our bathroom first. I still smell!" [sighs]
Lana: "Talking about fixing this bathroom, I need my plumbing tools! I can see a crack on our bath tube!" [still in the bathroom]

Linka: "What a fun… I don't know how, but that 3 hours felt like half an hour!" [exhales in relief]
Lucy: "We could have let time pass… But instead, we enjoyed it." [smiles]
Bath time's over. Next, some good ol' knuckle sandwiches.
Lori: "Now that the bath problem's fixed, how about we pay them boyos a visit?"

Now, two adults got their tails hot by 11 hungry young kids behind.

Back in the living room…
Rita (Girls): "Ly- LYNN!?" [shocked to see her husband being chased by 20 kids at once]
Rita (Boys): "HONEY!?" [same]
Lynn Jr: "Hello again, girls! Glad I'm not too late!" [joins the Loud sisters]
Lucy: "Lynn! Finally! Where have you been?"
Lisa: "We thought you went defector!"
Lynn Jr: "Well, I was about to, until I noticed that they wanted to do harm to our dad! Now I got to stop them!"
Lori: "Glad to see you once more, Lynn!"

It was truly a pursuit too long for 3 short hallways. But in cartoons, anything could happen.
Long story short, the fathers got themselves stumbled on the front door and tumbled into the front yard.
Both Lynn Sr: "Ouch!" [fall on their feet]
Loki: "They just fell, boys! NOW! SEIZE THE CHANCE!"
Loud Brothers: "HEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAHH~~" [charges after their father]
Lynn Sr (Girls): "WHA-"
Lynn Sr (Boys): "WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH-"

On the porch…
Lincoln: "Oh my God!" [gasps]
Linka: "Oh, no…!" [covers her face with her hands]
Rita (Girls): "Ly- LYNN!" [can't believe her eyes to see her husband rudely piled on]
Rita (Boys): "HONEY!" [same]
Loud Sisters: "DAD!"
Levi: "We got you now!" [on the human pile, happy]
Lars: "Say 'Uncle'." [smiles]
Lucy: "What- What did he just say…!?" [finds Lars' words outrageous]
Boy Lynn Jr: "Wait a minute… Where's Girl Lynn?" [looks around him]
Boy Lynn Jr: "Ah, there you are! Why are you still standing there? What are you waiting for? Come join us!" [waves]
Lynn Jr: "Y- You…" [furious]
Lynn Jr: "If that was Stinkin you're piling on, I'm still fine, but it turns out…"
Lynn Jr: "YOU TRULY HAVE NO SHAME ON YOUR OWN FATHER!"
Lynn Sr (Girls): "Are… Are your kids always like this?" [suffers under the human pile]
Lynn Sr (Boys): "O- Only on the weekends. They have been being like this since we have 5 kids, but still… Uugh…" [suffers under the human pile]

Lori: "Alright, THAT'S ENOUGH!"
Lori: "SISTERS! LET'S SAVE OUR DAD! CHAAAAAAARGE!" [charges after the human pile]
Loud Sisters: "UUURRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHH~~" [charges at the human pile]
Lynn Sr (Girls): "Lori! No- NO- NO!"
Lynn Sr (Boys): "WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH-"
On a blink of an eye, the human pile turned into a massive fight cloud.
Luke: "Hey! What are you- Ouch!" [gets punched]
Luna: "Let our dad GO!" [pushes her way forward, gets punched in the process]
Lynn Sr (Girls): "Girls!? What are you- Ouch!" [gets trampled]
Lynn Sr (Boys): "Stop! It's us- Aawh!" [gets his hair rudely pulled]
What an unpleasing sight. Even the neighbors couldn't stand watching it.
Mr. Grouse: "Hey, Louds! Can you all stop making ruckus!? I cut down my flowers by accident again! What a waste of 8 months…!" [shouts loudly from his residence front yard]
On the porch…
Linka: "Lincoln...! I'm- I'm scared!" [watches the fight in horror, almost crying]
Lincoln: [embraces Linka's head on his chest by reflex]
Linka: "!?" [startled to see herself suddenly being hugged]
Lincoln: "Ah- I'm- I'm sorry! I didn't mean to-" [blushes, lets her go]
Linka: [tightly hugs Lincoln, cries out loud]
Lincoln: [blushes for even more]
How embarrassing. If Ronnie Anne was there, Lincoln would be dead for good.
Things just went out of control. At this point, the mothers got their hands forced.
Rita (Girls): "ALRIGHT, THAT'S ENOUGH! EVERYONE BACK OFF!" [carries a water sprayer to drive off the kids]
Rita (Boys): "GIVE YOUR DADS A ROOM TO BREATHE!" [sets the kids apart from the chaotic fight]

That was quick. The kids finally stood in their positions, leaving their dads alone, dying, and mortally full of wounds.
Rita (Girls): "Honey- Honey! Are you… Are you alright!?" [carries her husband, agitated]
Lynn Sr (Girls): "I… I have… I have never felt worse- Uugh…" [falls unconscious]
Rita (Boys): "Ly- Lynn! Don't leave us alone! Please… I'm… I'm not ready to lose you yet!" [carries her husband, agitated]
Lynn Sr (Boys): "Ri… Rita… He- Help me- Aagh…" [falls unconscious]
The siblings soon found themselves in a foul air of even worse enmity as they reevaluated the situation.
Loki: "Oh, great! THIS IS LITERALLY GREAT! First, you forcefully took away our pin and our hockey field at the hall, and now you're trying to play tough by razing our human pile!" [mad at the sisters]
Loki: "See! Our dads are almost run into emergency unit! AND THAT IS LITERALLY ALL YOUR FAULT!"
Loud Brothers: "YEAH!" [agrees with Loki]
Lori: "OUR FAULT, YOU SAID!? Uuuurgh, you bunch of scoundrels- LISTEN! If only you all decided to knock it off, play along, be nice kids, and not raise some rampages like wild animals, ALL OF THESE WOULD NEVER HAPPEN!" [mad at Loki]
Loud Sisters: "YEAH!" [agrees with Lori]
Loki: "Wild animals!? What do you mean!?" [furious]
Lana: "How about you start explaining our bathroom! Huh!?" [stands forward]
Lola: "And you all said that bath is for losers! No wonder your stink reminds me of my sis!" [stands alongside Lana]
Lexx: "That's true, duh! You might be a beaut, but you girls are totally rigid with your life full of feminism and sanitary!" [stands forward, challenges Lola]
Leif: "Laundry and tissue roll piles in the bathroom are normal, bud! WHAT IS IT TO YOU!?" [stands alongside Lexx]
Lana: "I'm going to shove your ugly mug into the closet IF FLOATING POOP THERE IS ALSO NORMAL FOR YOU!" [about to punch Leif]
Lexx: "YOU WANNA MESS WITH MY BRO!? HUH!?" [confronts Lana]
Lola: "YOU WANNA TOUCH LANA WITH THAT DIRTY HAND OF YOURS!? AFTER MY BODY!" [confronts Lexx]
Before the quadruplets threw themselves in a brawl again, the elders of each faction held firm of them.
Lori: "Excuse me. If you don't mind, I got to talk with my sisters, and YOU all better behave this time!" [stares at Loki]
Loki: "Very well, might as well retreat to your cozy room! We're always here, anytime YOU want! Huh!" [frowns]
Lori: "Let's go, sisters. We have an emergency meeting to attend!" [retreats into the house]
Loud Sisters: [follows Lori]
Lily: "PFFFFFFFTTT!" [spits her tongue]
Leon: "PFFFFFFFTTT!" [spits his tongue]
Lola: "You guys are not letting us fracture their faces!?" [enters the house]
Luan: "I want to, but there's time to throw them some fists and rotten pies, Lols!" [enters the house]
Lynn Jr: "Luan is right! We got to regroup and regather strength!" [enters the house, slams the front door]

By this moment, the sisters were already on the 2nd floor, unaware of the two concerned siblings who hid themselves just behind the front door.
Linka: "Hah… hah…" [intense face, takes a long breathe]
Lincoln: "Hah… hah…" [same]
Linka: "Is it… Is it clear yet…?" [looks around, scared]
Lincoln: "Your… Your brothers are still in the front yard. As long as we're on the 1st floor… Neither them nor my sisters will spot us." [peeks outside from the window]
Now, Linka was terrified. Lincoln was right: The siblings would eventually wage a war.
Linka: "Linc- Lincoln… About your biggest concern last night… You… You were right! This- This is definitely NOT going to end well…!" [cries]
Lincoln: [sighs]
Lincoln: "See what I mean now?"
Linka: "I… I never expected our families to wage a conflict. Turns out… there's a big gap between us…" [hushed tone]
Linka: "Now… Now I realized how bad my brothers are." [sniffs]
Lincoln: "My sisters are not any better either. And… I think it's too late to get into their conflict. They're too fierce to be scolded this time." [slowly shakes head]
Linka: "…It's true. We can't stop this civil war alone…! What- What should we do now!?" [falls in despair]
Lincoln: "To be honest… I just have already had enough with them. How about we play some video games?" [sighs]
Hearing that skeptical reaction, Linka was very upset.
Linka: "Hey! Are you kidding me!? YOU ARE GOING TO LET OUR SIBLINGS KILL EACH OTHER!? HOW DARE YOU!?" [forcefully grips on Lincoln's collar]
Lincoln: "Whoa whoa, easy, Linka. You got it all wrong. Here's my plan…" [begins whispering]
Linka: "…!?" [listens]
Linka: "…Do you- Do you think this will work?" [doubtful]
Lincoln: "Do you have any better idea?"
Linka: [slowly shakes her head]
Lincoln: "Let's do this, then!"
