Hi. It's been a while. Some of you may be here because you saw I posted a new story and I will answer a few questions.
The biggest question would be "When will you update Secure, Contain, Protect?" The answer is never. I wrote that story back when I was still in school and when I was going through the SCP mythos. Now, my interest in the story has vanished. I don't want you to get your hopes up by saying I might return to it. I won't. My interest in most fanfiction is gone. I still like the mystique of unnatural entities in the real world, so I do have an original story similar to the SCP concept.
If you're wondering what my plans for the story were, I will give a rough outline on what I had planned for the SCP crossover in the footnotes, so if you're interested, feel free to read that.
I'm still writing, but mostly my own original stories. No fanfics, stories related to DxD or SCP or Asterisk War. If you want to take a look at those stories, I have a Discord server. The invite code to it is: USxMSV7
Just go to the bottom of your server list, find the "+" button, and enter the code into it. You'll be in my server. I have notes for my stories, outlines, and general worldbuilding information for my original stories.
If you'd like to know what those stories are, one is a "SCP-esque" story following a security guard in the form of journal entries. The second story is a high-fantasy story in a series of anthologies.
That's all. Hope to see you there. If not, thank you guys for reading and supporting my fanfics. Sorry I've disappointed you guys.

Now about this fanfic itself, I wanted to write a fanfic in the Asterisk War setting and stray away from the plot. This'll be a fanfic that's an AU and years after the events of the main storyline.
Chapter 1
"What do you think?" the captain asked me.
I was looking at the body of the dead Rewolf student before the captain spoke and I suddenly realized that my long work days just got longer.
The victim was Dawlkin Montif, a superhuman Genestella who could use prana to enhance their physical abilities. Though describing Genestella as "superhuman" is already redundant. Genestella are already superhuman.
Genestellas are a new species of human who have "prana" enhancing their physical abilities. The "superhuman" park of Dawlkin was him being a Dante.
A Dante is a Genestella who could manipulate their prana to use unique abilities. Some can fly, some can summon fire, and some could create afterimages. It's a crazy world that normal humans were thrown into.
And now I have to solve the murder of a student of Rewolf when Asterisk police did not want to. The murder of a Dante, no less. What did I think? I think this was a whole damn mess.
I told the captain so and sighed. I turned and found myself facing a woman my age with mauve hair and purple eyes.
She carried a large purse that I couldn't look into. The woman wore a sweater and jeans. She looked normal, for the most part, and more importantly, she didn't look like she was going to hurt me. If she did, she would have attacked me with my back turned.
Well, not like it would happen with a dozen police officers around.
"You sound frustrated," she said.
"I am. Someone killed a Dante and I'm expected to solve their murder."
The woman crossed her arms and I felt like I recognized her from somewhere. I couldn't quite place my finger on it. She nodded to my black and red uniform coat, "That's your job as the Grimalkin, isn't it?"
"It is," I admitted, "but chasing after a killer that can kill Dantes is not appealing at all."
The woman hesitated, "Did I hear you correctly?"
"You did," I nodded. "This student was a Dante. His killer was able to kill him. Not an easy feat, even if you catch them by surprise."
I looked at the woman again and narrowed my eyes, "Isn't that right, Ms. Lyyneheym?"
Sylvia Lyyneheym didn't seem bothered that I knew her. Everyone did, even myself and I didn't go on social media or follow Sylvia's career. My question was why she was walking around without a disguise.
She seemed to read my thoughts, because she said, "I graduated from Queenvale University. I don't need to hide so much anymore."
She whipped out a cap and placed it on her head with a smile. Sylvia said, "I'm still popular enough to draw fans, but I'm not afraid of getting caught outside of Queenvale anymore. It's nice working for the Benetnasch."
I smirked, "So what does the Benetnasch have to do with this student?"
Sylvia looked pained and said, "My successor, the new student council president, is Dawlkin's girlfriend. She's worried about him since he hasn't responded to her messages."
"Show me."
Sylvia hesitated then showed me her phone. I saw a series of texts from a student named Penelope telling Sylvia about the situation. "So this isn't an assignment from the Benetnasch?"
"No. Completely personal. She knew where Dawlkin was so I came by to start looking."
I gestured, "Well, there's the body. Break the news to Penelope."
Sylvia gave me an annoyed look, "Of course I'm telling her. I think you don't understand what I want."
I waited then realized what she meant, "I'll need to talk to my boss first. Not sure if he's okay with the Benetnasch poking around."
"I told you, it's a personal request. I'm here as an individual."
"Dirk isn't fond of you."
"He never was. I annoyed him because I never showed up to the student president meetings," Sylvia said with a smirk.
She reached into her bag and took out a pair of latex gloves, "May I?"
I thumbed over to the captain, who was watching us. "Ask him."
"Go ahead, but don't take too long," the captain said.
Sylvia walked over to the body and turned it over. The first thing she noticed was the gaping neck. Sylvia looked at me, but I said nothing.
She then noticed a dark spot underneath the man's shirt and gently pulled it up. It was as if someone had branded Dawlkin's abdomen. Which they probably did, being the sick person they were.
"Monster," Sylvia read the word. "This was a targeted attack."
"Maybe, maybe not," a detective said, coming out of the shadows. I smelled smoke on him and on his breath.
"It's a Dante branded with the word 'monster,'" Sylvia said, narrowing her eyes. "You don't get more targeted than that."
The detective shrugged, "You Genestella are monsters anyway. None of you are human. Maybe it's someone revealing the truth."
To her credit, Sylvia didn't react. Not that I expected her to. She spent over half her life putting on a character for the cameras. What would be another night disguising her anger and contempt?
Hiding her emotions would be second nature. Not to mention she's graduated university. She's no longer the young and emotional teenager. Sylvia was calmer and mature, which even allowed her into the Benetnasch. Well, maybe for other reasons too. Having a renowned idol in your intelligence network is a huge boon.
Unfortunately, some mole in a rivaling country found out and spread the news to the entire world. It ended Sylvia's career in the field before it even started. It didn't stop her from staying in the Benetnasch and doing office work, though. She did what she loved and stayed close to home.
"You done?" the detective asked. "We need to get this body down to the precinct."
"What about his phone?"
"Unless you know his password, the phone's not going to be useful."
"Get me his phone," Sylvia commanded. I was impressed at how effective it was. The detective left and came back with the phone.
Sylvia had taken off her gloves by then and skillfully punched in the keys, unlocking the phone. Both me and the detective looked over her shoulder as she began to scroll through his recent calls and messages.
Sylvia paused and I stepped back, realizing she probably wanted space. The detective didn't. Neither of them said anything and Sylvia said, "He wasn't planning on meeting up with anyone. That's all I can tell."
She tossed the phone back to the detective, who caught it. He asked, "What's the password to his phone?"
"Ask his emergency contacts," Sylvia said. "I don't remember what I punched in."
Just like that, she walked away, lost in her own thoughts. The detective was bewildered and if he had spent less time stunned, he probably could have stopped Sylvia from leaving and forced her to give the password.
But he probably didn't care or didn't want to get it from her because he looked at me, "You done too?"
I was. I was just about ready to leave before Sylvia intruded, so I took my leave and let the Asterisk police deal with the body.
I caught up with Sylvia and said, "So what do you think?"
"I think it's a mess," she said. I smiled. That's what I thought too.
"No jokes. Tell me."
"It wasn't a trap. He wasn't manipulated into walking to his death so it's unlikely anyone he knew was involved. You'd better talk to people and get their alibis anyway, though. Can't be lax in your detective work."
I nodded in agreement. She continued, "So this is the work of someone who wants Dantes killed. Possibly Stregas, if he could find them."
"Right," I said. "In fact, a student from Seidoukan Academy was attacked last week."
Sylvia turned her head, "Really?"
"Yes. A girl named Kelly Natoi escaped death by a close margin."
"How?"
"It was sheer luck. A couple fast food workers were just slacking off when they saw somebody sneaking up on Kelly. She was struck, but the blow wasn't fatal."
"How do you know this?"
"Contacts," I answered. "I asked my counterparts in Seidoukan if they knew of any Strega or Dante attacked recently. That was the only case I've gotten."
"What about Allekant, Saint Gallardworth or Jie Long?"
"Saint G. told me there's no attacks," I said. "Allekant, they haven't responded. Jie Long refused to speak to me, but I'm not surprised. They don't like me."
"Why?"
"Long story," I said, brushing away the question. It was a story for another time. "I also doubt anyone went after them. Nobody is insane enough to go after a bunch of magical ninjas."
Sylvia scoffed, but it sounded like she tried to hide a laugh, "That's one way to put it."
"Unless you know you can fight a guy
. . . or girl who can create clones and throw paper bombs at you, there's no reason to go after anyone in Jie Long. Much less a Dante or Strega from that academy."
"Makes sense," Sylvia said.
"So the best targets are from Rewolf. Followed by Allekant, Seidoukan, Saint G., and Queenvale."
"I'm surprised you think we're the least likely to be targeted."
"Mainly because your students will be the most covered if someone is killed. So that narrows down another thing."
"Whoever this person is, they don't want news coverage."
"Not at all. If they didn't care, they'd go after you first."
"That's insulting," Sylvia said. "You know that I was the strongest student of Asterisk's graduating class? The only person stronger than me in all six academies was Ayato Amagiri."
"That's just you," I said with a smile. "Not the usual Queenvale folk."
"We're not weak," Sylvia said, now sounding annoyed.
"I know," I said. "Poor attempt at humor."
She wasn't amused at all. Maybe because it sounded like I was trying to do damage control. Which I was, embarrassingly.
"Jie Long, Gallahadworth, Queenvale, Seidoukan, Rewolf, and Allekant," Sylvia said.
"That'd be your power ranking?"
"Yes."
"Mine too. Jie Long and Saint G. can't be contested. Queenvale? Most of you are able to enhance your strength, because pretty much everyone is a Strega."
She nodded. I continued, "Seidoukan and Rewolf have powerhouses, but there is a huge gap between them and weaker students. It'll be easy to go after the weak Stregas or Dantes in Seikan or Wolf."
"Right," she agreed.
"Which is why the two students attacked have been from both academies."
"That's right."
I shook my head, trying to piece things together, but failing. It was still so early in the investigation and I had no puzzle pieces to work with.
Sylvia seemed to read my mind again, "Everything will fall in place soon, don't worry."
I grunted. "What makes you say that?"
"Whoever this killer is, they'll get sloppy. Or they attack the wrong person. They'll be discovered soon enough."
"Hope you're right about that," I muttered. I remembered the map of Asterisk and we did not turn down the road leading to Queenvale. I missed a step and Sylvia heard me. "Queenvale is that way."
"I graduated," Sylvia repeated. "I own my own place now."
"Ah," I said. "Need me to walk you there?"
"Walk me halfway, then I'll be out of your hair." I nodded and walked alongside her, neither of us saying anything.
When Sylvia stopped, she handed me a piece if paper with a number, "This is my work number. Find anything, call or text me."
"You want me to call a Benetnasch number."
"With your Grimalkin number, of course," she said in exasperation. "Not your personal cell."
"I'll call before noon tomorrow. I'd have visited Dawlkin's relatives by then."
"I'll tell you what Penelope said when I visit her."
I nodded and Sylvia walked away. I watched her for a moment before crossing the street to get to my apartment.
Now you're here for what I had planned for the SCPxDxD crossover. I'll give a rough outline.
SPOILERS BELOW:

.
.
If you're aware of SCP-5000 ("Why?"), my story would have followed a similar plot and I'm pretty happy I wasn't the only one to think about what would happen if The Foundation decided to kill a lot of things.
Shortly after the attack on the Leader's Summit, Tau-07 team would continue working with the DxD characters to take down the Khaos Brigade. The whole process of wiping out Khaos Brigade would have been costly, which would have given the Chaos Insurgency the chance to do damage to the Foundation.
The entire campaign would leave a bitter taste in the Foundation and DxD faction's mouth, and it would only get worse as we get closer to Trihexa's awakening. Around the time Trihexa's wakes up in the light novels, the Foundation would have pulled out everything they had to put it down. It would lead to many characters killed and the complete isolation of the Foundation and DxD world.
They would never work together again and Rias let the Foundation evacuate Japan with the threat that if she found them in Japan, she'd have the Devils and Angels strike at the heart of Foundation.
A few major reveals I had planned:
* God is contained by the Foundation. The "God" in Heaven that speaks to Michael is a false god. I was thinking of having the false god be an extension of Trihexa or someone working for it. They would be the leader of the False Angels. Michael would be leading the True Angels.
* idk if anyone say my short anthology, but Weinberg would have died eventually going down in a blaze against Hero Faction
* Abel and Cain would be related to God and therefore the Heavens in DxD world. It would have absolutely shattered the organization and morale of the False Angels.
* As time went on, the Foundation itself would begin sending memos, plans, and other information preparing for the event called "Supernatural Elimination." They would be wiping out everything in the DxD world. More importantly, contain the Evil Pieces and every piece of technology the supernatural had to create more Devils and Angels.

I'm sorry for abandoning the story. I know many of you were looking forward to reading the next parts, but I want to write my own stories now and I'm enjoying it.
Thank you for supporting my fanfiction career, everyone. I really appreciate it.
