A few weeks after partng from Whitebeard, she had stopped for some supplies. She was just passing Little Garden when a ship caught her attention. A ship sporting a Jolly Roger with a straw hat. A laugh escaped her throat.

'There you are.'

Directing Calcifer to the island she hopped off him and onto the ship. Setting her bag down she pet Calcifer's snout before the Sea King dived back under the water. She took notice that no one was aboard.

'Must still be dealing with Mr. 3. Should I intervene? ...Nah.'

Luna began familiarizing herself with the ship. She noticed the damage that Reverse Mountian inflicted on the Merry.

'Man the anime doesn't even cover the damage the Merry sustained.'

She heard movement in the forest next the ship. Luna walked back to the stern of the ship to wait for the crew. She watched as the several familiar figure boarded the ship, including a certain straw hat. She almost gave herself away when the swordsman and cook argued over their kills.

Luna was silent as the ship moved through Little Garden. Two familiar giants stood at the edge of the island as they exited. Upon making eye contact with the giants, she gave a wink while holding a finger to her lips.

The Island Eater emerged from the sea, scaring most of Luffy's crew, as her baby brother laughed from his place on the figurehead. The two giants yelled for the crew to keep going straight. Luna watched as they entered the Island Eater's mouth just to see the giants preforming their attack. The attack blasted through the Island Eater making a massive hole through the back of the fish. The Merry made it through with little issue and no one took notice of her presence.

'I'll need to fix that.'

She decided to have some fun with the Straw Hats. She moved to the railing that over looked the lower deck. Leaning over she laid one arm across the railing to hold her right elbow while her chin rested on her right hand.

"Well that was exciting."

Nami responded without thinking with a sigh, "I could have done without that excitement."

"Sadly Luffy only knows excitement. He would do anything if he thought it would be fun."

She watched as navigator froze at her voice. Turning Nami made eye contact with a woman on the upper deck. She had long white hair that hung over her shoulder, ocean blue eyes gave Nami a knowing look. She waved her right hand fingers at the navigator.

"Hello."

Nami screamed loudly catching everyone's attention.

"Who's that? Is she one of Broque Works?" Usopp yelled as he hide behind the mast. Zoro's hand went to his swords, while Sanji tensed up.

The yelling caught Luffy's attention as well, and upon seeing the woman he let an excited yell. Using his arms he catapulted to the woman. She stood just in time for the boy's legs to wrap around her waist as his arms wrapped around her head. Laughing Luffy hugged her tight, a laugh escaped the woman as she stumpled back. Her hand coming to rest on his back to stablize the boy.

"Luffy! What's going on how do you know her?"

"Luffy, How Dare You Handle A Lady So Violently!"

The woman laughed as she waved her other hand, "he's fine. I'm used to dealing with this."

The crew prepaid for anything as they watched the hand on Luffy's back slide up to the back of his head. They watched as she began scratching the boy's head with her nails. Luffy's crew watched in amazement as the rubber boy all but melted under her touch. The boy slide down so that only his arms were wrapped around her waist, she continued scratching his head. Luffy buried his face into her stomach.

"I apologize for frightening everyone, I couldn't stop myself from having some fun. My name is Monkey D. Luna and Luffy is my younger brother." She finished with a head tilt and a closed eye smile.

"BROTHER!?!?!"

She stopped scratching Luffy's head as she stepped out of his grasp, causing the boy to whine. She walked to the lower deck with the rest of the crew.

"So you're the crew Luffy has gathered? May I have introductions?"

Sanji wasted no time in greeting the new woman, "ah I, my lovely lady, am Sanji. I'm the chef of the crew. But you may call me anything Luna-swan."

A soft giggle left her as she nodded at the cook, "pleasure to meet you. I apologize, I know that Luffy's appetite can be stifling."

Zoro stepped forward pushing Sanji away from her, "the name's Zoro. You really Luffy's sister?"

Luna hummed softly with a nod at the swordsman, "yes and it's a pleasure to meet you Roronoa Zoro. Last I heard you were a bounty hunter in the East Blue."

Zoro scoffed as a blush stained his cheeks, "I never claimed to be a bounty hunter."

Nami walked up to the woman, "I'm Nami, the ships navigator." She pointed at Vivi.

"That's Vivi and the duck next to her is Karoo, and the one hiding behind the mast is Usopp."

Luna looked over a the princess, "you're Princess Vivi of Alabasta aren't you? I'm sorry for what's happening to your country."

Vivi looked surprised, "you know of Alabasta?"

Luna nodded, Luffy came up behind her.

"I've been traveling the Grand Line for about a year and a half now. I've stopped by Alabasta in my travels."

The crew of the Going Merry looked shocked, "YOU'VE BEEN HERE A YEAR?!"

Luffy clambered onto his sister's back his arms wrapped around her neck loosely. "Oi oi sis have you come back cause your promise?"

Luna laughed at the boy's excitement, succuring Luffy by holding onto his arms, "yes Luffy. Sorry I didn't make it back earlier, I had some errands to run."

Nami noticed Luna's bare wrist as she held onto Luffy, "hey if you've been on the Grand Line for almost two years where's your Log Post?"

Before Luna could respond Luffy yelled out as he squeezed her in excitement, "Luna doesn't need a Log Post thingie she has cool powers."

Closing her eyes Luna laughed softly before looking at the navigator, "as Luffy has so kindly pointed out my abilities allow me to control and manipulate water. I'm able to change ocean currents, so I've never needed a Log Post."

Usopp stepped out from behind the mast feeling more comfortable, "another devil fruit?"

Nami looked at the woman in shock, "you're able to change currents? Then you're going to be a big help!"

Luna gave a soft smiled, "I'll do my best, and no Usopp my power does not come from a devil fruit. I still have my ability to swim."

The crew went back to their potions. Luna keep an eye on Nami, remembering she will become ill soon. Luffy had final detangled himself from his sister to take his spot on the figurehead. It wasn't long before Luna noticed Nami's face becoming red. Nami handed the Log Post over to Vivi before her legs gave out. Luna wasted no time in catching Nami as she fell.

"Nami!"

Scooping the navigator up as the others hurried over, she made her way to the girls' room while the navigator weakly protested.

"Luna I'm fine just tired."

The woman's blue eyes looked down at the girl, "oh is that why your body temperature is up and you were about to faint?"

Nami pouted and crossed her arms as the older woman laid her on the bed. Vivi and the boys followed into the room. Luffy stopping behind his sister. Luna turned to look at the crew, taking charge over the situation.

"Listen up, Nami's temperature is high and with her collapsing it seems like it will only get worse. Luffy, Usopp I'll need clean cold water, preferably with ice in it, and a cloth. Sanji until I can identify this only warm liquids, we don't want to make her sicker."

Nami protested behind the woman again, "I'm fine I don't need all this. And since when were you a doctor?"

Luna turned back to her with a look Nami only ever seen on her mother's face, "I never said I was a doctor. In fact I don't fully believe that if this isn't a simple illness that I'll be able to do anything. I have little knowledge of crafting medication, though I will be able to decipher if it's viral or bacterial shortly."

Vivi walked forward, "how will you be able to do that?"

Luna turned her head to look at the Princess, "if anyone else comes down with the symptoms it's viral if not bacterial."

Luffy and Usopp can back with the needed materials. Luna pointed to the table beside Nami's bed. "Place them there, we'll have to take shifts to watch over Nami. I don't want her alone for too long. I'll use my currents to take us to a nearby island, that's known for their doctors. Is that alright captain?"

Luffy nodded with his usual smile arms crossed behind his head, "yep you know more about this stuff."

Luna gave a nod before looking back to Vivi, "Vivi may I ask you to take the first watch? All you have to do is monitor her temperature and keep the cloth damp. Come fetch me if there are any changes; good or bad."

The others watched as Luna made her way on deck. Zoro stepped up next to Luffy, "Luffy, you sure she know what she's talking about?"

Luffy just nodded at the swordsman, "Luna's always been smart with this stuff. If she says Nami needs a doctor than she needs a doctor."

Zoro nodded as Sanji came back with some warm broth and tea for Nami.

Hours passed before Luna definitively announced that Nami had in fact a bacterial infection. After a formal look at Nami she deduced that it was caused by a bug bite.

"It must have happened on Little Garden which make this even worse. That island has ancient bacteria, ones that little to few doctors have studied, since the species has become extinct everywhere else. The island I'm taking us to luckily has one of those few doctors. But had I not known about this doctor Nami would have most definitely died in five days, as it's known as the Five-Day Disease."

Standing Luna walked over to the desk in Nami's room. Nami was shocked as she pulled the newspaper she had hid earlier. Luna handed the paper to Vivi, "Nami was going to use this to try and bypass her treatment. Vivi, she doubts her importance to you, she believes you will choose your people over her health. So Princess who will you choose?"

Vivi stared at the paper in shock, yes the civil war was getting worse, but she wouldn't sacrifice her new friend. Luna told them Nami would most definitely die if not treated. She looked at the white haired woman, those blue eyes, they knew her answer somehow.

Empower by the woman Vivi's face morphed into one of determination, "the faster we get Nami better the faster we can get to Alabasta."

Luna smirked at the princess, "that's what I expected." She turned back to the sick navigator, "now you have no leverage. You will be seeing a doctor whether you like it or not."

Luna changed the cloth on Nami's forehead, her fever has only worsened. Vivi and her had given Nami three bathes so far to help the navigator's overheating body. Seeing the Five-Day diease was more shocking than she thought. The white haired woman laid her cool hand on the younger girl's flushed face. Nami's eyes were unfocused, puffers of hot air escaped her chapped lips.

She knew Wapol would show up soon, that meant they were less than a day away from Drum Island. Knowing Luffy would have no issue handling the moronic ex-king she put all her force into Nami. Vivi sat diligently next to the two other women to lend her assistance, as Sanji hovered. Luna knew it was because his past, once the ship shook signaling Wapol's arrival. Without breaking her focused on Nami, Luna's voice rang out.

"Sanji please go assist the others with the intruders, the disturbance won't help Nami with her condition."

Sanji nodded as he left the room, while Vivi asked the unspoken question, "Luna-san how does it seem to be that you know thing that are going to happen?"

Nami listen for the answer, also confused by the woman's knowledge. The woman signed as her eyes moved to the Princess, "do you by chance know what Haki is?"

Vivi shook her head negatively. Luna looked back to Nami as she spoke, "well it's the ability to use one's spiritual energy, most just fail to notice it or just never have the chance to unlock it's power. The Haki I utilized is Observation Haki, it allows me the ability to sense others in my vicinity. It's perfect if your enemy specializes in surprise attacks."

Luna allowed her answer to hang in the air as she finished changing Nami's cloth, before turning to Vivi. "Vivi please watch over Nami, the intruders have been removed. I'm going to see if I can get us to the island faster now."

Vivi nodded as Luna ascended the stairs. Upon reaching the deck she saw the boys looking over the port.

"Seems like you had some fun."

Luffy turned to his sister with a scowl, "just some dumb metal mouth trying to eat our ship."

Luna smiled at Luffy with a soft smile as she ruffled the boy's hair before moving his hat back into place on his head. Remembering why she came up her smile fell to a neutral look.

"Luf I need your promission to try and get us to the island faster."

Luffy's smile came back to his face, "whatever you gotta do Lulu."

Nodding she moved to the port side by Usopp, "Usopp you might want to back up please."

Before the boy could move she gave a loud whistle. Like with Whitebeard it was quiet for a few moments before Calcifer broke the water's surface. Usopp screamed at the sight of the Sea King as he ran to hide behind the mast. Zoro and Sanji looked at the beast in shock, while Luffy just had stars in his eyes.

"SO COOL!!!"

Chuckling Luna rubbed Calcifer's snout, "hello again Calcifer I hope I didn't interrupt anything?"

The sea dragon shook his head as he nudged her, "would it be alright if I asked for your assistance getting to Drum Island. It is the upmost importance we arrive there quickly."

The Sea King nodded his massive head. Looking over her shoulder at the boys, "will one of you fetch me a rope? Calcifer agree to give us some assistance."

"Hey didn't that metal guy want to get to Drum Island?"

Luna moved to her brother, poking Luffy's forehead, "don't worry about that baby brother. That man is nothing but trouble."

Luffy nodded at the woman as Sanji walked over with some rope. Walking to the bow she secured the rope around of the bottom half of the figurehead, tossing the rope to Calcifer. The Sea King dived under the water once he caught the rope in his mouth.

"Hold onto something the beginning is always jarring."

Luffy scurried to the figurehead while the others grabbed onto the railing. Luna just stood at the bow behind Luffy as Calcifer jerked the ship forward before speeding to Drum Island. It took about two or three hours before the island came into view.

"There! That's the island we were heading for, Drum Island."
