Luna had made it back to the Merry after Nami had explained how the boys became so injured. Stepping on the deck Sanji was the first to notice her.
"Ah Luna-swan! I'm so glad your back safety!"
Luna let the stress of the encounter with Teach melt away as she smiled at the chef.
"I'm fine Sanji. Thank you for caring. Chopper hand me some medical supplies I'll tend to Zoro."
The little reindeer did as asked while the swordsman tried to voice his objections.
"Zoro, Stop. You are getting treated."
Luna left no room to argue as she started dabbing at his bloody cuts. Nami finally voiced her anger.
"WHAT KIND OF RESPONSE WAS THAT! A REAL MAN WOULD HAVE PULVERIZED ANY CHALLENGERS TO DUST! ARGH! THIS CITY IS PISSING ME OFF! WHY DIDN'T YOU BASH IT TO BITS?!"
Zoro spoke up, "just a little while ago you were saying..."
Nami cut him off, "THAT WAS THE PAST, DON'T BRING IT UP! IF YOU DO I WILL BEAT YOU TO DEATH!"
Nami than turned on Luna, who had been cleaning up from cleaning Zoro's injuries.
"AND YOU! WHY DIDN'T YOU DO ANYTHING?! YOU HAVE THIS HIGH BOUNTY! WHY DIDN'T YOU BEAT THEM UP?!"
Luna just looked at her with a dead pan face, "our captain didn't think it was necessary. Also when have I ever gave you the impression that I show off my bounty? The only reason I told you all was to show you what you were getting into being on this crew."
Chopper cut in, "oh, did you guys discover any clues about the 'sky island'?"
Nami's head slowly did a turn, her bangs covering her eyes, "'sky island'...!?"
Chopper quickly hid behind Luna, "'Sky Island' I don't care anymore, jeez... When I mentioned it, everyone in the bar just laughed..."
"IS EVERYTHING THAT I SAY ALWAYS SO FUNNY!? IS IT BECAUSE I SAID IT!?"
"It's quite lively up there. Why are you so upset?" Robin asked as she boarded the Merry handing Luna her items, which she promptly handed the journals over to Chopper.
"Robin where did you go?"
"I went to buy some clothes... I also tried to find clues about 'sky island' along the way."
Nami snapped at that, "OH YEAH, IT WAS ALL BEACUSE OF YOU ROBIN! YOU AND YOUR 'SKY ISLAND' TALK! IF IT DOESN'T EXIST, I'LL FEED YOU TO THE SHARKS!"
Robin handed Luffy a map who thanked her, "OOOOH! IT'S A TREASURE MAP!"
Usopp looked over Luffy's shoulder, "it's just an ordinary map. Where is this place?"
"It's this island... the city on the left is where we are Mock town. On the other side... do you see the X mark on the east coast?"
The boys nodded while Robin continued, "I heard that a very special person from Jaya lives there."
"A very special person?" The boys ask simultaneously.
"His name is Montblanc Cricket. He was exiled because he kept talking about his dreams... we should be able to talk about similar interests."
The Going Merry sailed towards the other side of the island. That's when on the horizon, another ship was spotted that was strikingly similar to another one from earlier.
"We just set sail and we're already encountering something strange..." Luffy stated.
"Oy! Usopp. It doesn't look like the same guy from before." Luffy told the sharp shooter, who appeared with Sanji in tow, hiding behind the chef.
"Well, whether that's a good or bad thing is another story," muttered Sanji. "As long as the don't hurt Luna-swan, Nami-swan, and Robin-swan."
"But we saw him before, right?" Asked the sharp shooter.
Chopper nodded with a hum, " yeah, that salvage guy. So he's from this island after all. We saw him come back there."
"Hmm, even if we meet him again. It doesn't really matter." Luffy answered back.
"HEY YOU! YEAH YOU! STOP CHATTING OVER THERE!"
Luna leaned over the railing, "nah this one looks like a orangutan."
"You have a very strange face." Luffy called out bluntly. "What species are you?"
"I'M A HUMAN, YOU PUNK!"
Like the other strange looking captain this man's men went crazy at the insult of their captain. Shoujou seemed to be calmer though.
"Forget it. Forget it. It seems like you guys are pirates! Did you know that Crocodile's seat in 'the seven war lords' is empty now? If they judge by real strength, that seat should be mine! I've been getting all worked up waiting to be contacted."
"Ah, you want to join the seven war lords?" Luffy asked confused.
"Ah? I know you're wondering why me? I'll tell you something special about me. Ever since I was born, I have never had a hair cut. That's 25 years without a haircut! So, did I surprise you?"
"You're an idiot." Luffy replied. Luna snorted at Luffy's bluntness.
"WHAT! YOU SURPRISED ME!"
"HOW DARE YOU SAY THAT TO THE CAPTAIN!"
"Forget it. Forget it. Jeez, your response really made me all worked up. Remember this, passing through the tunnel called 'my fury'... the results will be a sea of blood."
Luna slumped on the railing, "by the gods does thing man like the sound of his own voice."
"Whatever, we have somewhere to go. So get out of my way!"
"YOU STUPID IDIOT! THIS PART OF THE SEA IS MY TERRITORY! IF YOU WANT TO PASS YOU HAVE TO PAY THE TOLL!"
Luna rolled her eyes, "enough of this."
Luna stood as she raised her arms, a rumble shook Shoujou's ship.
"What was that?" His crew called out. Darkness fell over the large ship, causing the crew to look around confused before looking up. "UGH! CAPTAIN!"
Shoujou looked up as well to see a massive water sphere above them.
"WHAT IS THAT?!" He looked back to the woman only for his eyes to widen. "W-wait you're..."
Luna just gave a smile, "yep. Goodbye now."
She let the sphere go allowing the water to pour down freely, as it washed the ship away any back waves stopped before hitting the Merry. Without much said the Straw Hat crew went back to their objective.
"This is the place on the map. What's his name again?"
"Montblanc Cricket..." Robin responded to the navigator.
"The man who talks of dreams..."
The shore came into view and a large castle like build greeted them. The architecture very Mascow looking to Luna, this impressed Luffy and Usopp.
"Gah...!"
"THAT'S SO COOL! Is that his house?!"
"He's filthy rich, isn't he?!" squawked Usopp
"Stupid, look closely." Zoro scoffed next to Luna.
"Hmm, a man who dreams... he does seem to be vain." Sanji added breathing out smoke.
Chopper was trying to look closer, "what are you talking about?"
Luna scooped him up giving him a better look at the fake castle, "oh..."
"AH! IT'S JUST A BOARD?!" Luffy yelled shocked.
"WHAT?" Usopp yelled.
"This guy's house is just half a side, the rest is just plywood." Zoro commented. "Seems like a small and cheap house." Sanji added putting up the sail.
Nami turned to Robin, "what dreams did he speak about when he was exiled?"
"I don't know all details, but he talked about a large amount of gold hidden here on Jaya island."
"GOLD!?"
"YOU MEAN LIKE PIRATE'S TREASURE!?"
"Well, I don't know about that."
Nami and Chopper were trying to dig for treasure. While Luffy went to the real house and just walked in, "Hello! I'm coming in!"
"HEY! JUST DON'T WALK IN THERE!" Usopp yelled at the captain.
"Hmm? No one seems to be home." Luffy stated while looking around. "HELLO! HEY HE'S NOT HERE!"
Nami started to look around just to find a picture book on a stump near by, "hmm? A picture book... it's a really old one too! 'Noland the Liar'...?"
"Ohhhh! That sounds like a very interesting book." Usopp commented while Luna walked by him, "sound like someone's after your title."
Usopp turned quickly to the woman, "HEY!"
Luna just giggled at him as she looked over her surroundings. Sanji came over to Nami, "'Noland the Liar' that brings back old memories. I used to read it a lot."
While Nami question Sanji about the book, Luna looked over at the chef. Luckily this seemed to bring back a good memory for Sanji. Nami began reading the story book, while Luffy walked to the water's edge.
"And the pathetic liar died...before he could even become a brave warrior of the sea."
"DON'T LOOK AT ME!" Yelled Usopp alarmed. "AND DON'T ADD IN A HEARTBREAKING SENTENCE ON YOUR OWN!"
Luna scrunched up her nose at the ending, "and this is supposed to be a children's book?"
A cry was heard followed by a splash of water, "Luffy fell into the water!"
A man stood in the place where Luffy was, "who the hell are you people? You punks got a lot of guts to enter a man's house without permission. This is my territory!"
Sanji stepped forward to fight the man, "Hey, Usopp! Go grab Luffy!"
"Got it!"
"You're all after the gold right? Then prepare to die!"
Sanji started to battle against the mysterious man, giving kicks and avoiding the man's own. Suddenly, he pulled out a gun and shot at Sanji.
"SANJI!"
"Don't worry he missed!" Sanji said before the man continued to fire at him. "WAIT A DAMN MINUTE!"
Zoro scoffed, "that idiot, that's what you get for taking him on."
Luna walked towards the man, getting Zoro to tense up before seeing the man pass out.
"Chopper!"
"Bring more cold towels! Open up the windows!" Ordered Chopper as the others did as told to help the man.
"Caisson disease?" Zoro questioned.
"Ah, you mean he's sick?" Luffy asked.
"Yes, it's a sickness that divers sometimes get. But it doesn't usually become a long-standing condition. Due to a lack of decompression when surfacing from the seabed, the nitrogen dissolves in the blood gets released quickly and forms gas bubbles at that time. "Chopper explained as Luna moved close to Chopper. "Since the gas bubbles expand inside and outside of blood vessels, they cause problems to blood flow, muscles, and joints."
"So, it's some bizarre phenomenon huh?"
"He probably kept diving everyday without giving time for those bubbles to disappear from the body." Chopper explained.
"What for?" Nami questioned.
"I don't know, but he's taking a risk," frowned the doctor. "In some cases, caisson disease can... be deadly."
"Doctor may I try something?" Chopper looked at the woman before nodding.
Luna kneeled beside the man with her hand hovering over his body. She closed her eyes she focused on the bubbles of nitrogen in his body as her hands started to glow.
"WHOA!"
Small orbs came out of his mouth and burst upon coming in contact with the air. This went on for several minutes before Luna sighed as she sat back, "I've pulled some of the bubbles of nitrogen out, but I wasn't able to get them all."
Just as she finished the door slammed open, "BOSS! ARE YOU ALRIGHT?!"
Chopper jumped in fear diving for Luna while Usopp ran around screamed, "AHHH! THEY'RE HERE TO KILL US!"
"WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE!?" Shoujou demanded before seeing Luna next to Cricket. "HEY YOU GET AWAY FROM HIM!"
"WHAT DID YOU DO TO THE BOSS!?" Asked Masira.
"What? We're looking after this guy right now, so go somewhere else." Luffy answered bluntly.
Usopp was still freaking out, "IDIOT! THEY AREN'T GONNA LISTEN TO US! THOSE GUYS ARE SAVAGES! EVERYONE, EVACUATE THROUGH THE WINDOWS!"
Luna stood, with Chopper on his go to place on her shoulder, sighing before smacking Usopp upside the head to stop him. After calming down the panicking sharp shooter Luna turned to the primate duo, hands on her hips as she moved closer.
"Our doctor and I are the reason he hasn't died from his own carelessness. Diving so deeply without breaks has made a mass amount of nitrogen built up in his body. And be quiet don't you see he's resting."
She stopped infront of them glaring up at the two, Chopper huddling under her hair. The men began to sweat from her glare before falling to their knees and hugging the woman's waist, tears streaming down their cheeks. Much to Luna's displeasure, "THANK YOU SO MUCH!!"
"What did I just say?! Also let go of me!"
"You guy live here, too?" Luffy asked after they were able to dislodge Luna from the apes. Said woman was sitting as far as possible from them and as close to Zoro.
"Well, boss's house is the headquarters of the Saruyama Alliance" Marisa replied.
"But we sleep on our ships most of the time because this house is too small for us." Smiled Shoujou.
"It's because you guys are too big. Well, to those giant guys you look like a ball of earwax, though." Luffy laughed.
"But it's amazing that you guys kicked him off when you're so small." Shoujou laughed patting Marsira's shoulder.
"You could do it too." Luffy answered. Shoujou promptly turned and kicked Marsira, watching him go flying. "Wow! Look at him go!"
Chopper came out of the house, "Luffy he's awake!"
"He's awake?!"
Everyone moved into the house to see Cricket sitting up, "hey, old diamond-head! I wanna ask you something!"
Cricket let out a puff of smoke before saying, "sorry I caused you trouble. I thought you were just some idiots after the gold."
"Gold? You have gold?" Nami asked her eyes with beli signs in them. Luna pulled the girl away from the interaction.
"What is it that you wanna ask me?"
"Old guy, we wanna go to the sky island! Please tell us how to get there?!"
"Sky Island?" Cricket repeated slowly raising an eyebrow. He throw his head back laughing, "you guys believe in the sky island? Hahaha!"
Luna held the red head back from jumping the man.
"There's no sky island, old guy?" Luffy asked, looking distressed.
"No one knows," answered Cricket. "I know someone who said there is, but people call him a legendary big liar! His family became a laughing stock forever."
Luffy's head slowly turned to Usopp, only for him to bark at him "IT'S NOT ME!"
"There's an old story that most North Blue people know," continued the man. "Noland the Liar is the one."
"Your ancestor."
The man's head whipped towards the woman, "Hmph! He's my grandad's grandad's grandad's... He's my distant ancestor." He sighed out, "what a nuisance... I doubt there's a drop of his blood in my body... although the Montblanc family was driven out of the country then, and has kept a low profile, people continue to denounce our family to this day. But no one in the family hates him!"
"Why?" questioned Chopper.
"Because Noland was an extraordinary honest person."
"Huh?" Everyone asked.
"Noland's last excuse in the picture book is like this, 'That's right! The mountain of gold sank in the sea!' A stupid-looking face is drawn in this book... but he shed many tears and died a regrettable death. He was sure that the island he reached was Jaya where he found the wreckage of a city of gold. He felt that there was no way it was just an illusion... Noland insisted that the ruins had submerged due to critical movements, but everyone thought he was making excuses out of desperation. Noland was executed in front of the laughing onlookers, and only the name 'Liar' remained."
"Oh, I see!" Exclaimed Usopp. "You're looking for the city of gold on the seabed in order to clear the Montblanc family name!"
"QUIT TALKING SHIT!" Cricket pointed his gun at the sharp shooter. "Whether or not my ancestor was an honest person or a great adventurer, HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH ME!... Can you understand how a kid would feel being laughed at by strangers just because he's a descendent of such an idiot?! That's how I grew up!" Yelled the man. He paused to take a moment to calm down. "But... yeah, over the past 400 years, many set sail to restore our family's honor, though all of them went missing. I was ashamed of such a family. I ran away from home and became a pirate."
"Oh? You're a pirate, too?" Luffy smiled now reinvested.
"It's not that I wanted to become a pirate," reflected the man. "I just wanted to escape from Noland's spell. And over time, I came to have my own pirate group. At long last, I entered the Grand Line, and I spent all my time on adventure. But ten years ago, my ship reached this island by accident. Strangely enough, only I, who continued to hate the Monblanc family and Noland the most, made it here. This island didn't have a city of gold, just like the book said. As I stood on a cape of the island, I felt that it was destiny. There was no place to escape to. If it's there, that's fine. If not, that's fine too. It's not that I want to prove his innocence. This is a duel with the man who threw a wrench into my life. I want to set the record straight before I die."
Usopp became weepy while Luffy pointed outside, "then, what about them? Why are those monkeys here?"
"Those guys are fans of the picture book," Cricket responded plainly. "It was about five or six years ago. They heard a rumor about me and barged in on me. They said, 'we think Noland's gold definitely exists!'... the sea around here is deep. In the dark, cold sea, you're haunted by a deeper solitude. I just dived and searched alone everyday. They just came into my life and became my underlings without my permission, and they romp around. Single-minded idiots like them... make me feel relieved, to be honest. Do you understand?"
"Well, putting the story about those monkeys aside... like I said, I wanna go to the sky island, old guy!" Luffy replied.
"You're a hasty one! Yeah, I did tell you, right? The witness to the sky island is Noland the Liar. If you have anything to do with him, you'll be laughed at like me." Cricket said as he pulled an old worn book from his shelf. "Unfortunately, this doesn't say he did it but..."
"A logbook? Could it be Noland's?" Nami asked as Luna caught the book from Cricket. Handing it to her, Nami leafed through it. "Amazing... a logbook from 400 years ago... 'Sea Ephemeris Year 1120, June 21st, Sunny. We left Villa, a cheerful town. Following the Log Pose, we should be heading east-northeast from the harbor. We got a rare item from a bumboat that we came across during the day. It's a ski-like one-person boat called a waver. It's a mysterious boat that can generate wind and move even on a day without wind. It seems that you need to get the hang of it to ride, and I couldn't manage it. Right now, it's became a perfect toy for my crew.' No way! What's this?! I want it!" Nami smiled.
"READ! READ! READ!" Chopper, Usopp, and Luffy commanded in unison.
"'The power for this seems to be a product found only on the sky island, and I hear that many peculiar things like that exist in the sky. Speaking of the sky island, one of my explorer friends showed me a live skyfish. I was surprised at how strange the fish looked. To our ship, it's still unknown area, but as a sailor, I'd like to go to the sea in the sky one day. Montblanc Noland'... he said 'the sea in the sky!'"
"It's just like Robin said!" Luffy yelled, "and it sounds like the sky island was a pretty normal thing of people back then!" Cried out Usopp. "So it does exist!" Chopper cheered.
"Listen carefully, I'll tell you all I know about sky island. However not everything I know can be proven true, it's up to you to decide whether to believe me or not." Cricket said after everyone moved outside.
"Yeah! We believe you!" Luffy said without a second thought.
"There's a strange phenomenon that occurs in these waters; sometimes it'll turn night, even though it's the middle of the day." Cricket said pointing at the horizon.
"Are you talking about the Knock-Up Streams?" The question came from Luna, who had taking a seat on Cricket's house. The man nodded at the woman, "I take it you've seen them before?"
"Seen them... used them to attack marine ships..." Luna said not looking at the man.
The man's eyes widen before going back to the explanation. "This sudden nightfall is caused by the shadows of extreamly compact clouds..."
"You mean cumulonimbus clouds?" Nami asked with a raised brow. "But it was too dark to be clouds..."
"There are clouds known as 'cumuloregalis clouds'..." Cricket continued. "They pile high into the sky but produce no air currents or rain. When they appear high in the sky, even sunlight is blocked out, bringing afternoon 'nighttime' to the ground. One theory has it that cumuloregalis clouds are fossilized clouds that have floated in the sky for thousands of years."
"That's ridiculous! Clouds with no air currents even after building up?!" Nami exclaimed.
"You're free to believe they can't exist. I'm not asking you to believe me! There's still no explanation to them after all. Listen. If sky island really does exist... that'd be the only possible place!"
"Okay! Gotcha! Let's go above those clouds!" Luffy smiled standing up. "Get up, Zoro! Get ready, everyone! Cloud rudder full! Thanks for filling us in, old guy!"
"HOW MANY TIMES DO I GOTTA SAY WE DON'T KNOW HOW TO GET THERE?!" Nami yelled kicking the captain and sharp shooter.
"Now comes the real problem... Let me start by saying this: put your lives on the line!"
"We're already near death..." the youngest two groaned with swollen faces.
"I'm guessing you're suggesting that we use the Knock-Up Stream to get to the sky island?" Luna questioned.
Cricket nodded, "you can theoretically take it into the sky, understand?"
"Oh! Then it just needs to send us above the clouds!" Luffy yelled happily.
"The key is timing," Cricket hummed. "It's easy to talk about being sent up the current, but it's not gonna be as easy as you guys think. The Knock-Up Stream is a natural disaster. It's something that should normally be avoided!"
"How exactly does a water current rise into the sky?" Questioned the navigator. "We've never heard of anything like that before... Luna you said you've seen them?"
"Yes. I've even utilized them to my foes detriment before. They are powerful currents that even I can't replicate." Luna stated.
"Naturally, we can only guess as to how that monstrous current works. No one's dumb enough to jump in and find out, after all. The accepted theory goes like this." Cricket went on to explain the current. "Deep beneath the sea floor, there are large cavities, and low-temperature sea water seeps into them. The heat from the earth below turns that water into steam, and the resulting pressure causes an explosion on the sea floor. One big enough to send the sea flying and create a current into the sky!"
"It only last for about a minute." Mumbled Luna.
"One minute?!" Nami repeated in disbelief. "What size of explosion are we talking about here?!"
"The explosions change location each time, and occurs five times a month." Cricket continues ignoring Nami's question.
"You want us to be blown into smithereens?!" Usopp cried.
"But y'know, describing a grand natural phenomenon with words and logic is foolish."
"S-so, basically, we gotta ride this current that only appears five times a month and hope the sky island shows up?" Stuttered the sniper.
"Yeah. And if you miss, you'll fall back down, slam into the ocean... and then you'll all end up at the bottom of the sea."
"Just like the Briss..." Luna added.
Usopp was quiet for a moment before giving a nervous chuckle, "a-alright! Let's give up on the sky island! IT'S IMPOSSIBLE. YOU GOTTA HAVE THE LUCKIEST LUCK THAT'S EVER LUCKED TO MAKE IT THERE!"
Luna looked over at Luffy as the captain laughed, "we'll be fine. Let's Go!"
Before Usopp could argue with Luffy, Luna held up a hand. "Our captain has made his decision. As his crew we follow."
Usopp still tried, "b-but look at the Going Merry now! It looks pitiful! It can't stand up to that gigantic disaster like that!"
"That's true," Cricket agreed nodding. "Even in mint condition, that ship wouldn't stand a chance."
"WHAT?!"
"Speed, weight, strength... that boat's be blasted apart in the explosion."
Thinking he would get his way Usopp pointed at Cricket. "See! It really is impossible!"
"But don't worry about that! I'll have Masira and Shoujou help take you there. Only after we strengthen your ship, of course."
"Yeah! Just leave it to us!" Cheered the two monkeys.
"Thanks guys!" Laughed Luffy while Usopp and Nami sweatdropped.
"Do you even understand? For starters, the most we can stay on this island is one more day! After that, the Log Pose will start pointing to the next island!"
"Yeah! Yeah! We won't make it in time!" Cheered Usopp in relief. "Seriously, old man! You're not a psychic! I doubt you know, but how many days until the Knock-Up Stream, and the cumuloregalis clouds line up?! No, No! How many months?! No, how many years?!"
Luna promptly knocked Usopp in the head to get him to stop. Cricket smirked, "tomorrow afternoon. If you're going, you better get ready!"
"WE CAN'T MAKE IT IN THAT TIME!" Shouted the snipper only to receive another hit from Luna.
"Oh? If you don't like it, then quit"
"Y-you're lying! This isn't right! We just met you today! Aren't you being too nice?! Plus..."
"Hey, hold on!" Luffy tried to interject, but Usopp interrupted him.
"Shut up, you! Tomorrow just happens to be the perfect chance to go to this legendary unknown 'sky island'?! And you'll help strengthen our ship and take us there?! That's way too convenient! What exactly are you scheming?! Plus you're Noland the Liar's descendant! We can't trust you!"
Luna punch Usopp into the ground, "Usopp! You have no right! First you question your catain's choice and telling him to shut up! Now you're insulting this man for lies, that's a joke knowing your history. Haven't you ever heard the saying the winners write the history. His descendant was killed by the 'winners'. This man has spent god knows how long here researching the very currents we need to use. Now! Apologize!"
Cricket cut in before he could say anything more, "whenever 'midday night' is confirmed in Masira's turf, cumuloregalis clouds appear in the southern skies the next day," he continued as he moved closer to the snipper who gulped. "and judging from it's five-per-month rate, the Knock-Up Stream will probably be active tomorrow. It'll happen somewhere south of here. It's not a 100% certainly, but there's a good chance it'll be tomorrow!" Cricket moved around Usopp as his stare becoming harder. "I'm glade to have met fools like you. Now, let's go and have some food! Take it easy at my place today... comrades!"
"Food!" Luffy cheered. "Hurry, Usopp!"
Luna gave Usopp a glare as she followed Luffy.
Luna and Robin sat off to the side as the crew and the Saruyama Alliance ate and partied. Suddenly Cricket appeared infront of Robin, who had been reading Nolan's logbook.
"'In the skull's right eye, gold is seen'"
This caught Nami's attention, "gold?"
"The page with tear drops on it was Nolan's last words, he's sentence was carried out later that day." Cricket explained as he downed his drink. "I still don't understand what that passage means."
The party continued as Luna moved to the shore out of sight of the others. Her eyes found the small ship on the horizon, she knew Bellamy would soon arriving right when they were searching for the South Bird. With a huff through her nose, Luna turned back to the party hearing the yelling about the South Bird.
Luna and Zoro paired up allowing the duo time to talk.
"Ugh let's just find this stupid bird so we can get back to drinking." Groaned out the swordsman. Luna chuckled softly before he continued, "so what's with you staying close to Robin?"
Luna sighed, "I was hoping you would bring that up. I know it's hard to trust her, but trust me for the time being. Things are going to happen that will be hard to explain. I intend to stay with her when that time comes."
"Another vision?" Luna nodded as she continued, "it wont happen until after we leave sky island. It'll be a hard time for Luffy and I'm going to rely on you to help keep Luffy's head clear. Robin won't be the only problem we will face."
Zoro looked out her hard before sighing, "will you both be safe?"
Luna smiled at the man, "awe you old softy. Besides some bumps and bruises we should be fine."
The smile slipped from her face, "I can't say for our next adventure though."
Zoro turned to focus on her, "what do you mean?"
"One of the enemies we'll face is an lightning logia."
Zoro went silent as he thought, Luna continued, "Luffy is the perfect counter now. We just need to make sure they met before the logia user meets me."
Zoro chuckled, "well we know Luffy will jump to fight someone."
Luna nodded as she turned him back the way the others would meet up. Quietly the two moved through the woods, coming to the clearing with the others. No one was able to find the South Bird.
"We saw it but it mocked us before attacking." Chopper mumbled quietly. Luna patted his head, "don't worry Zoro and I didn't even see one."
Just as Luna finished her statement a South Bird landed on her shoulder. "Oh nevermind." Before anyone could react Luna held a hand up and the bird moved to her hand. Usopp deflated at how easy Luna caught the bird.
"Mr. South Bird may we request your help for a sort time?"
Chopper jumped in to translate for the bird, "'fine but I want something out of it.''
Luna smiled, "I sure our chef could make it worth your while. He food is the best I've ever tasted."
"'Deal.'"
