Wow! It's been now been two years for this series already! Thank you so much for reading!

Part two of Jacoba and Church working together, which started with the chapter entitled "Sniping with Church."

The legalities: I do not own any of the Expendables franchise (characters, places, and objects especially) and this is mostly au.Rated M just to be on the safe side.

Also, please don't be afraid to write reviews. I would love to hear from you all!

Hope you enjoy!

Prompt: "Oh, you're still alive."

"Don't sound so disappointed, I might think you don't like me."

"Where is she, Church?"

"How the hell should I know? I may have been paired with her, but that doesn't mean that I kept track of her on the way back. She could be just about anywhere."

Barney shook his head as he watched Caesar, Toll, and Yin attempting to hold Gunnar back from striking Church. He had been against the spy joining them for this mission from the beginning, but with the rest of the team having to be within the compound, he had needed someone to act as spotter of Jacoba while she acted as the sniper. So, he had (reluctantly) agreed to the ride along. Yet, now it seemed as thought Church had lost the Amazon.

"Alright, team, let's get a move on. Everyone, grab their weapons and prepare to head back in to look for her. That includes you, Viking."

Gunnar growled at Church one last time before shaking off his teammates and heading over to where he had stashed his gun (his big knife was missing, but he had a feeling that Jacoba had swiped it). He attempted to not look over and growl at Church again when the spy had opened his big mouth "What are you all so worried about? She's a big girl and can take care of herself."

"Wow, Church, it looks like we actually agree on something." The team took a collective sigh of relief when they saw Jacoba leaning against a tree not that far from the plane. She didn't look injured (just a little scraped up from tree branches and such), her rifle was secured on her back, and she held Gunnar's big knife as though she thought that someone was about to get the drop on her.

"Oh, you're still alive."

Jacoba rolled her eyes as she walked over and handed the Viking back his weapon before facing the spy once again. "Oh, don't sound so disappointed, Ethan Hunt. Otherwise I might think that you don't actually like me."

As Church glared and the rest of the team laughed, Gunnar leaned over and whispered in her ear. "You good, doll?"

She smirked as she looked up at her lover of only a few weeks. "Yea, hon. I just had to tie up some loose ends." Holding her rifle out to him, she continued, "Could you pack this up for me, Viking? I've got to go inform Barney of what I just had to take care of."

He nodded as she handed it over and trotted off to talk to their boss. Shaking his head, he began to join the rest of the team in packing up (and ignoring the still glaring spy). Just another reason why he loved that woman so much.
