Chapter 15

"I declare our meeting opened." the man in a black costume said. The person had glasses on his eyes. His hair was short and black; his fringe was upswept on the left. He had brown eyes. The man was a bit chubby and it also was noticeable that he had five-o'clock shadow. His face was frown and serious likewise he was upset or unnerved with something. He was sitting at big and round table. The person crossed his arms on his chest and was looking on the papers which were in front of him.

"Eugene Alexeyevich, one person still is absent." another person said, but he was much younger than the previous one it seems that he was about twenty or twenty two years old. This person had almond eyes dark hair he was well build, he was wearing a business suit too.

"Who is it?" Eugene was wondered; he glanced over the table and saw two other persons excluding Eugene and the young person. "Pavlov, don't tell me that you invited him!" by Eugene's voice it was understandable to realize that he wasn't happy, he was rather annoyed.

"I think we can start without him." another man with grey hair said, trying to take Eugene's attention off the missing person. "Still, we have some nuances to discuss, without him."

"Fine, Savrasov." Eugene turned to the man who was sitting on his chair and went through his papers. "How the work of our hunters and Japanese ones is going?"

"Well I must admit that their cooperation is going well. They also found out that "The Third Law" is in Japan."

"Did you understand something from their intentions? What do they want?" Eugene asked him.

"As we supposed, their aim is in destroying the seals." the man sighed, "And they do it perfectly. One from six seals was destroyed."

"What!" Eugene and another person with grey hair exclaimed. "How is it possible?"

Savrasov got up, took three papers from his file and came to person with glasses. "According with Vlasova's report there was a little clash between our and Japanese hunters with this criminal organization. Vlasova and Potapov joined the battle, in order to help them. And while they were fighting it seems that they could destroy the seal."

"As I remember it correct, they encountered Etienne Richar and Vlasov Anatoly, didn't they." the grey haired man joined the talk.

"Yes they also found out that Liza Prokofieva was captured and brain washed by "The Third Law"."

"And what happen with her captain?" the man started to snap his fingers, "Potapov Peter." he said slightly rising his voice when he remembered what he forgot.

"He was murdered, by the demon which is cooperating with this organization." Savrasov merely answered.

"Well, it's unpleasant." the man with said.

"Eugene Alexeyevich!" Dmitry Sablin turned to the man in the middle of the table. "I think it would be better to send Professor and the Penetrator to Japan."

Eugene sighed, and Sablin's words, like he already knew what he wanted to say. "Dmitry, they are demons. Do you understand what will happen to them if they came to Japan? They will immediately appear in all firing lists of their hunters."

"Yes do you, it's not speaking that they can be captured by our enemies! Do you realize the aftermaths of this stupid act?" the man with gray hair said angrily this young hunter irritated him a lot.

"Sergey." Eugene turned to the man. "Don't be so harsh to Dmitry; he is still has lots things to study."

"Roger Eugene Alexeyevich." He merely responded.

"In any case, why do you want to send them there?" Eugene asked the young man again.

"Being one of the strongest demons they can try to find seals even faster than our squads." Sablin explained his point of view.

Eugene Alexeyevich wanted to say something, but he was interrupted by Savrasov. "That's why we are waiting for the last one." The boy didn't understand, so Savrasov decided to explain a bit more detailed, "Right now we can send those two, also we can't increase our groups in Japan, because this wasn't discussed yet. That's why we decided to take aid from the side. And this aid is his. Perfect plan, do you understand that you'll pay him three times as many as you would send those two." this time Dmitry was complaining.

"That's why I always mad at you Sablin. You try to teach others while you're the one who must be taught." Pavlov Sergey said to the younger one.

"He can play his own game. He doesn't belong to government or other state structures. Do you realize this Pavlov?"

The adult and the young ones were about to start another argue when they heard a knock in the door.

"Come in!" Eugene Alexeyevich commanded.

The door opened and there appeared the man about thirty or thirty five years old he was wearing white skirt grey trousers the same colour shoes. The person was medium height. He had short ordinary black hair, brown eyes and it also was good to see that he had a weak beard; it seems that he had no time to shave it. The person had smile on his face and his lips were moving like he was cantillated something.

"Glad to see you all. Dmitry, Sergey, Stepan and Eugene." he watched at all presented people and took his place. "I didn't know that you removed in a new office Eugene. You'd better warn me earlier and I wouldn't late for so much."

"If I'm not mistaken I send you a message Andrew." Sergey Pavlov answered to the newcomer. "So it's your fault that you're late."

"Really?" the newcomer was surprised; he took a telephone out of his pocket and started to list it. "Ah, Pavlov, found. Yes it's my fault, and then I ask your forgiveness for my lateness. I hope I didn't miss the interesting part."

Eugene turned his head to the newcomer and said coldly, "I think you know why you were called here Vereshagin."

"I guess you want to ask my help with something." he said and immediately added, "And this something is…"

"The problem with "The Third Law". I hope you remember this organization." Pavlov said to him.

"How I can forget the ones who made a lot of noise to my country." he said with the same smile he entered the room. "They still put me grit in the machine. And, what with them?"

"I think that you already know that we started the project of cooperating with Japanese hunters." Sergey said to Vereshagin.

"I've heard about it, but still don't know much about it." he merely replied.

"And during our project, we came to find out that this organization started their acts in Japan." Sergey continued.

"And..." Andrew dwelled on the word.

"Let me finish Sergey." Eugene merely, said to his subject, "Because of the arrangements we can't send there more people, as it can be appraised as invasion, and it cause to war between our governments."

"Eugene, less polemics more business. It doesn't suit you." Andrew continued to keep his smile, but everyone could understand that he didn't like official rants.

"We want to hire your organization to interfere all acts of "The Third Law". I think you want refuse the chance to pay them some debts." Eugene chuckled.

"Hm, now you speak in my language." Andrew admitted, "Do you know that my man haven't got warm relations with Taimanins, I think they won't be glad knowing that my men walking on their territory. Not speaking that I'm persona non grata in Japan."

"And we all know why." Tarasov said with a grin. "They fabricated the information, about your family and made things like you were the ones who were responsible for slave trading and for organization of illegal fights. I think I shouldn't count the rest."

"Yes it's all well known in the highs of our countries. And the authority of my organizations decreased a lot since that incident. It was really difficult for me to restore it and keep my organizations in shadows."

"So that's a perfect way to you to take your revenge over them." Sergey added. "I think it's a good offer to earn money and to repay them."

"So that's your plan?!" Dmitry was surprised, "Do you realize what can happen if his mercenaries would be caught. And especially if they spill the beans! We will lose all the trust of their government."

"So this is your new protégé Stepan." Andrew looked at Sablin and then turned his head to Savrasov. "You didn't tell me about him."

"I've thought that you already know about him." he shrugged his shoulders.

"I like him. He tells reasonable things. You should listen to him." Dmitry was surprised at this state he didn't know what to say, but then the newcomer laughed loudly.

"Man!" he said laughing, "Do you understand with whom you're talking about. My men are the best in their area and one of them can be compared with their strongest huntress, how was her name." he pondered. "Igawa Asagi, if I'm not mistaken."

"Are you talking about the one who lost his eye in the combat with her?" Sergey asked.

"Yes, so there's no need to have doubts in competence of my mercenaries, they will do everything brilliantly." he stated like he was sure in his men.

"Have you already forgotten the case with Miller?" Sergey interested.

"Don't remind me that case it's was the only time when we lost to these hunters. They had more people than I sent that's why we failed that mission. But still, I think that Red shouldn't be a sent there." he raised his head and closed his eyes.

"Do you know whom you will send there?" Stepan asked him.

Andrew opened his question and looked at Stepan and gave him a strange smile, "Don't worry if I agree to send my men there, I'll do it myself without your interference. And especially without your presence Stepan." then Andrew turned to Eugene, "I think the payment will be discussed personally, don't I?"

"Indeed, this question we will discuss personally." Andrew smiled, and turned his head to the youngest one.

"By the way, I've never thought that you'll take such young hunter for working in the Head Quarters, it's very impressive."

"Times changes and sometimes it's the best idea to find more of young potentials than using the same cadres."

"So, you mean that he is not the only young hunter who working with you?"

"It's secret information. So I'm going to tell you nothing about it." Eugene smirked.

"Secrets are secrets." Andre wanted to tell something but was interrupted by a call of his phone. He accepted the call and said that he is busy. "Well the picture is clear for me. I will think what can be done. The only thing I want is freedom in my acts. I don't want the government to be behind me."

"Don't venture too far!" Dmitry was about to come down with criticism, but he was immediately stopped by the Minister for foreign affairs, Eugene Alexeyevich.

"Dmitry, I understand that it's difficult to you to believe him, but still he is a person we can rely in fighting "The Third Law". He is the person who will do everything for our country and especially for his own businesses."

"That's right boy. Trust me and everything will be fine." Andrew got up and left the room. After Andrew, Potapov decided to leave too.

"Do you really want to give him a freedom in his acts?" Dmitry asked Eugene and Stepan who were the only left in the office with the young hunter.

"Even if I'll let him to do whatever he wants he won't do anything reckless and other things which are able to compromise us. That's why we can rely on him." Stepan said, but still by his eyes was possible to see that he was disgruntled with something.

"If not his family, our country would never earn such authority." Eugene continued, "While we were fighting for freedom from the UFS his family appeared and started to create a business after business, enlarging and enforcing our economy. He was the first one who decided to make projects with people who had special abilities turning them in demon hunters. That's why you can trust him when he wants to aid us."

"I…" Dmitry stopped for a second as he didn't know what to answer. "I didn't know that."

"Thus it's secret information." Eugene sighed, "No one knows that Vereshagin's family is cooperating with Russian government."

"Yes, not speaking how many attempts were made to assassinate his family. And in the first lines in it were Chines Union and the UFS, as they had suspicions that the Vereshagins are working with us."

"That's why Chinese Union and the UFS will never be our allies." Eugene interrupted Savrasov with a serious face, "The demands only our submission, because strong Russia is doesn't need, that's why we closed our country form all other world for a several years. And that's why we decided to cooperate with Japan as they the only ones who try to avoid the influence of these strong alliances."

"And as I understand, the country was closed because we need to take of all loyalists and traitors who could work for the UFS and China." Dmitry suggested.

"Yes and Vereshagins were the ones who helped us to do this." Fedorov concluded the thought of the young hunter. Suddenly they heard a knocked at the door, the door was opened and there appeared a woman she was holding a file. She gave the file to Eugene and left the office. "Well you may be dismissed. I have lots of work to do go and your work too." both, Savrasov and Sablin left the office leaving Eugene alone in his office.

"Well-well, they want me to visit Japan, huh." he opened the file again he turned the page and the next thing he saw impressed him a lot, perhaps even his glasses could fall from his nose if he would fixed them, "So, they want me to meet with Yamamoto Nobushige. Yes, this meeting will be the best in my life, also it will be interesting to see him alive after all." he said to himself and continued to read the document.

"Thank you very, much that all of you could come for our small convention." the man in a hood and cloak said, and then turned his head to the man who was wearing a doctor's robe and glasses on his eyes. "I'm also glad that you, Etienne could join us."

"Don't put me as exception!" Etienne was glad that he was treated as exception. "I'm the ally of you organization, so I have to visit your conventions." he added watching at the hooded man.

"Well, what are your first impressions from the first fight with Japanese hunters?" the hooded man asked again, but this time he asked all who were sitting in the room on their chairs at the desks.

The first one, who decided to talk, was the man in dark purple suit and scars on his face, "They have got potential." Archon started, "As I understand it right some of them were students, weren't they?" Archon glanced at the hooded man, he nodded, and then Archon continued, "The kids Etienne was fighting show perfect skills. Their teamwork is good too. I think it will be pretty difficult to fight stronger opponents to us." he concluded.

"Zgadzam się1…" the man in a black business suit the made reservation, "I admit it." but then added, "The men you gave me faced with some difficulties fighting those hunters." the man with a green eye and yellow eye said.

"By the way, Wojciechowski, what hunters did you met?" Etienne asked his comrade.

"Nie wiem2…" he stopped again, "I don't know." the Polish shrugged his shoulders.

"What do you mean you don't know?" Archon man was impressed; "Didn't you read the dossier I gave you?"

"I've started to read it, but honestly, I found this information boring, you know I like to get information during the action." the psychiatric answered to Archon.

"Then try to describe those whom you faced." the man in the hood said, "And we'll try to guess who it can be."

"Pierwszy3… the first one had blue hair and white suit and was using the axe." Wojciechowski remembered, "Another one was tanned, had blue hair too, but she used a short blade during our battle." he was about to finish, but then added, "Także4… Also the woman with the axe was much older than the tanned girl."

"From your words, it seems that the woman who used axe is Yatsu Murasaki. She has the ability to self-regeneration."

"Self-regeneration?" the Polish doctor didn't understand, so the hooded person explained.

"If you chop her hand off, she will be able to restore it."

"Interesting ability." the psychiatric only said. "And the other girl?"

"I don't know from your words she is much younger, and then she must be just a student."

"However I'd like to ask you about your visit to Edwin Black." Etienne asked looking at mysterious one and then at the person in metal armor.

"What about him?" Mystic asked the French scientist.

"Will he help us?" Etienne asked again.

The man in the grey armor and golden eyes responded to Etienne instead of the hooded man. "For now, we shouldn't be worry about him, while he sees I'm or my little friend on your side he won't dare to strike you."

"Are you sure in it?" Archon decided to ask Walter who was energetically answering the previous question.

"I know Edward for a long time, frankly speaking, I know his long before all of you appeared, and he is not from those who will attack the one who is stronger straight."

"If you say so, then I think we can be not afraid of him." Archon referred.

"Yes, but with our resources in Japan, it will be a bit difficult to stay in shadows. How do you think about it?" Etienne asked the mystic again.

"There's no need to worry about it. I was thinking about it, and I found the decision of this problem." Mystic began, "I will go and ask the help of our old friend from "Black Wing"."

"Don't tell me you want to go that sadistic broad." Archon was astonished. "I thought that you decided not to work with her."

"Yes, but she is our only hope. With her agreement to join, we will have a bit more time to prepare ourselves better." then he turned his head to Etienne and asked him. "By the way Etienne, I wanted to ask you about your project, how far have you come in it?"

"You mean the project "Centurion?" Mystic nodded. "The project is done only for thirty percent."

"Why it's going so slowly?" Archon joined the conversation.

"Because, I have fewer resources here than I had in Brasilia, it's the first. Second I was dragging on different missions so I had no time to continue it." Etienne was irritated with such fault-findings at his address.

"Well I'll try to reduce your presence on missions." the hooded man said, "Your project is valuable to us that's why we must finish it." he stopped as he saw that Walter wanted to say something.

"I'm sorry guys, but I must go now. I will leave you for some period of time."

"When will you return?" the Polish decided to ask the person.

"Don't worry I'm not leaving you, I will return as possible. And I think you remember how to find seals?" the last part was in store for Mystic.

He nodded and replied, "Looking for anomalies."

"Good." then he covered himself with his gray cloak and disappeared.

"Do you really think that we can trust him?" Archon asked Mystic when Walter disappeared.

"Yes cooperating with demons it's quiet strange; I thought that "The Third Law" never works with demons." Wojciechowski added.

"We need his help in our mission. If not Walter we could be destroyed long ago." he started, "With his help we knew about the seals and with his help we are going to rebuild this world."

"A demon who wants to odbudować5..." the Polis spitted, "To rebuild the world, it's like an anecdote." then referred with a chuckle.

"You shouldn't worry about it." Mystic said to others, "All problems with demons are on me, so be calm. By the way Etienne, I want you to prepare some gifts for our friend."

"Ah, yes you want to visit "Black Wing". Apropos, I would like to go and look at her too."

"Did you forget what happened last time when you came to her?" Mystic asked the French scientist.

"Don't mention it." Etienne frowned, "She wanted to see the effect of my drugs, I didn't know that her playthings would be so weak. And in any case it's her fault, she didn't tell me about the needed dosage, that's why I used the dosage I used to inject in the subjects."

"I know that, but you know her she never accepts her failures." Mystic said to him, "Just forget about it."

"Hey, boss." Wojciechowski interrupted the hooded person. "I wanted to tell you about the politicians."

"Oh, sorry, what about them?" Wojciechowski put some papers onto the desk and referred.

"I have a list of the politicians who could cooperate with us." he took one paper and continued, "But if you want to hear out my opinion I'd give you a better idea." Mystic nodded giving to the Polish a permission to speak out his thought. "We can use another politician if you want."

"What do you mean?" Mystic didn't understand.

"While I was talking with Hayasi Kayoshi, I had kept an eye on him. I gave him some time to think about joining us. He is smart, cunning, responsible if it's needed he can be inconspicuous."

"Are sure in him? Won't he let us down?" Archon asked coming to the table where were lying the papers and taking one of them too.

"I'm sure we can rely on him, and if I tell you this than it's really so."

"Then this task is fully on you, Wojciechowski." Mystic said putting the paper onto the desk.

" Zrozumiany6." he chuckle. "Oh and I wanted to ask you about something."

"Yes?"

"Mógłbyś7…" he spitted. "Could you give me that boy with flame abilities as a helper? Those huns unnerve me a lot."

"I'll ask him, but it doesn't mean that I won't give him other missions."

"Dziękuję Ci8."

"Well I think the meeting is over I hope that each of you will work as hard as always!" Mystic decided to give a conclusive speech, "If we destroyed the first seal it doesn't matter that you can relax! It means that our rivals will work even harder than before to stop us, that's why you must be well prepared and ready for everything!" he stopped and then asked, "Is everything clear?!"

"Yes!" all who were in the room replied him.

"Good. Now return to your businesses." and he left the room disappearing in the wind.

All other people left the room and returned to their tasks.
