Chapter 1 (Chapter 16)

The night covered Japan. The sun's light was chapter hanged to moon's and stars' one. That meant only one, which ordinary people have left the streets and it was the time for demon and other criminalities to start their actions. Though, streets of big cities still were a bit crowded.

"Interesting. It's quite impressive that people started to disappear beyond the Tokyo." female said standing straight with her hand on her sides.

"As Igawa-san said a lot of people started to disappear in Sapporo." the male person said.

Both persons were about eighteen or nineteen years old. The girl had short flaxen hair, but still it was possible to her to tie them in a sheaf. Her fringe was pretty long and closed her brows also it was combed to the left. She had emerald eyes, her nose was acute. She was wearing a tight bodysuit whish exposed her stomach fully, also she was wearing tight shorts which reached her kneels. The lower part of her legs were closed with boots that had steel plates, on her arms it was possible to see steel plates. On her back were two tonfas, which were made of iron. On her face was possible to see a puzzled expression. The male near with her was about the same age as the girl. But instead of the girl he was taller than her. The boy had short black hair his face was a bit gentler then the girls. The boy had light blue eyes, which were irradiated goodness. The boy was wearing a tight bodysuit too. But his own was being closed his body and legs fully, except his arms, however the boy had not got protecting plates on his arms, but only on his legs. The boy had a katana on his back. Boy's suit was dark blue, and the girl's one was white.

"Did she say who could be art and part in it?" the girl asked the boy again. She put her indicative finger onto her chin still pondering.

"As captain said there's no information who it could be." the boy replied to her. "That's why…" he wasn't able to finish his thought a thus he was interrupted by his partner.

"Did they say that the missing people were teens about our age?" the girl asked pondered, the boy nodded, then she added snapping her fingers, "Then could it be, that these people were kidnapped because had broken someone's heart?"

"Are you serious?" the boy said emotionless, like he awaited something from his partner.

"I think it well-known information that the man can do a lot of reckless things when his love was rejected."

"Don't say such stupid things in front of captain, I think he won't be glad if he hears it." she only shrugged with her shoulders and continued to look down the streets from the building they were standing on. "This kidnappings became regular we don't know who it can be that's why we are here to investigate it." he smile to her.

"By the way, maybe it could be that organization captain Yatsu was talking about?" the girl asked the boy again.

"Do you mean "The Third Law"?" the boy asked the girl too.

"Yes he was talking about them with too seriously; I've never seen him like this."

"He said that they're very dangerous and if we meet one of them we have to retreat immediately." the boy said straining.

"No matter, we're Taimanin! And some criminal bunch is nothing to us, we will deal with the quickly!" the girl said loudly, it was easy to see an excitable twinkle in her eyes and a smile, like she was able to defeat all of her enemies all alone.

"You never change Igarasi-san." the boy sighed heavily, but smiled. He was glad that his partner wasn't bother with the information they had received from their captain not long ago, while he was a bit nervous about what he heard. The person who can influence on people's mind, who can also fix his own limbs like nothing serious hadn't happed to him. The girl turned to the boy and saw that he was a bit nervous.

"Don't worry your senpai will take care of you." she grinned, that gave a needed result, the boy quickly come out from his thoughts and returned to the real world.

"Don't be stupid." he muttered like he was touched with her state. "Even you won't be able to deal with them alone."

"That's why you're here." she chuckled and continued to look down onto the streets she was looking before.

The boy came closer to the girl who was standing on the ridge of the building and started to look down it too. Suddenly they detected some movements in one of several dark corners they could see. They saw a black van and several people who were wandering around it. They jumped off from the building and rushed to the van by dark streets which weren't lit or were but poorly and dim. When they reached the lane, where they saw the van they noticed several people. Igarasi gave a sign to the boy to stop and immediately. They leaned to the corner of the building and tried to listen to those persons.

"Good, another one is taken." a rude voice said it was easy to understand that It belonged to man, "This bitch was pretty nimble, and she even gave me a scratch."

"Huh, if you didn't take this scratch we wouldn't be able to capture her." another man smirked, but his voice wasn't as rude as the voice of the previous one. "Didn't know that you're so fast." the same person added.

"Trust me, it's not the only thing I have." the previous man said again.

The young hunter was about to take out his katana from his sheath and attack those punks, but he was stopped by the hand behind, he turned his head and saw Igarasi who was shaking her head giving to understand that it's not time to act.

"How much people we got?" the first man with rude voice asked his question.

"You mean with this girl?" a new person said, but his voice wasn't rude rather soft, but still not too soft.

"Yeah." he said again.

"Five." the third person with the soft voice answered.

"Remind me, why we kidnap these people?" this rude voiced man asked again.

"I don't know, this freak in armor said we must capture some cute and attractive teens." the man with gentle voice replied on the question of his criminal partner.

"Whatever." Another person with less rude voice merely said, "While they pay us good money for these deliveries, I'm not interested much, why do they need them."

'It seems that the man with the soft voice is their chief.' Igarasi thought, she gave a sign to her partner. The boy took out his sword and the girl took out her tonfas. By her sign the rushed to those people. Igarasi easily knocked out one of three men who was bigger than the others while the boy took another person who wasn't big, but still was muscular. The only one left was a bit slender person, he wasn't low, but still he wasn't high. He took out the gun out of belt holster, but couldn't make even one shot, as Igarasi quickly hit him into his stomach with here weapon and then hit him by his arm with it. The man dropped down his gun and then was kicked to the trash-can by the boy with katana.

"Even my katana wasn't needed." the boy said like he was glad that he didn't use this sword against ordinary people, even against the gangsters.

When the man opened his eyes he was about to get up he was immediately pressed down to this trash-can. The man had a frog in hi had as the girl stomped on his chest using some force.

"Don't mind if we have a little chat?" the girl asked the man with chuckle.

"Who the hell are you?!" the man crouped.

"Think that we're superheroes." the girl chuckled again, and then he turned to the boy who was her partner. "Mori, give a going over the van." she commended to her partner.

"Please, don't call me this." the boy said a bit disgruntled, but still did what she ordered to him. She didn't reply, and asked the man who was under her feet.

"Are you the ones who kidnap people all over Sapporo?" the man didn't respond.

When the boy opened the door of the van he saw four people who were in handcuffs and gags in their mouths. "Yes it's the kidnapped people!" the boy replied to the girl. There were one boy and three girls.

"This time you won't get out." she said and pressed her leg harder onto his chest.

"Yes." he snorted out, "We were ordered to kidnap some people so what?"

"Well, it's a crime after all, that's what." she said and asked him again, "Who ordered to you to do this?"

"The hell I'll tell you bitch." the man smirked, but immediately started to snarl as the girl increased the power of her foot's press.

"Should I ask you again?" the girl said with a smile again.

"I don't know." he merely snarled, but then he saw a dangerous twinkle in her eyes, so he decided to answer honestly, "I really don't know. I know that the man in iron armor was the one who gives orders."

While Igarasi was investigating that criminal element, the boy found the key, and freed poor people. Then he put on the handcuffs onto the hands of other criminals and did it perfectly he hooked their hands up around the streetlamp which was turned off. Then he came to his partner and joined the investigation.

"Was this armored person from "The Third Law" or the other organization?"

"The Third what?" the man didn't understand the question.

"Law." he merely added.

"I don't know who this man was; I only know the place where I must deliver this captivities, nothing more." he growled.

The boy took his katana out again and put it to the man's throat.

"Listen I'm serious!" the man said starting to panic; he realized that these persons are not the one who can be joked with. "If I knew something more I'd tell you. But I'm just a mere bandit who was ordered to kidnap some people nothing more. If you want I can bring you to the place where I was ordered to bring these people and you'll investigate it by yourselves!"

"Now you're talking in our language." the girl was satisfied with his answer.

She took off her leg from his chest. After this the man started to breathe the air deeply. The girl put her hand onto her ear and said. "Commander, do you hear me?" she started, "It seems that we found the location where the kidnapped people are held." she stopped it seems that she was listening the respond from her earphone. "But we need to get there first, we found a way how to find this place. We will go there with one of those snatchers." suddenly she closed her eyes and closed her ear; it was possible to hear rude man's voice who was shouting something. "Commander don't worry, I and my partner will be careful, as we get there we will send you the coordinates." After several minutes of persuading her commander she turned to the boy, "The commander is agree."

"How could he agree for such reckless thing?" the boy was surprised.

"Don't worry if he does something suspicious we will incapacitate him quickly, am I right?" the second part was addressed to the man who had already cought his breath. The man did nothing but only spitted, he came to his van and then said nervously.

"Are you getting in?" the boy and the girl jumped into the van through the medium door which led to the main box, where were placed the captured people, who now was safe and sound. The snatcher sat onto the driver's seat and turned the key. The van was actuated and then they rode with spurs.

After an hour the van was stopped. "Have we come?" the boy asked the man.

"Yes, I didn't bring you to the place directly, but it's in five minutes from here." the man said a bit unnerved.

"It seems that you conceal something. And I don't like it to be honest." the girl with flaxen hair wasn't happy as she started to feel like the man started some strange game.

"The only thing I afraid is that this person with armor will get me if he sees that I help you. I'm not so stupid to understand that you're his enemies or something like this." the man announced his point of view. Both young hunters looked at him, so the man decided to add, "As I have already understood, you won't kill me, but this one will not only kill me, I afraid that he will torture me to the death."

"Fine, you can rest." the girl said and knocked out the man with her hand by his neck. The man fall down, but it was lucky that he didn't fall onto the steering wheel. Checked that the man was unconsciousness, Igarasi turned to her companion, "Mori-kun, let's go." she opened the door of the van and left it, the boy did the same. "Commander, we send you our coordinates." she said in her earphone. When she said she turned to the boy again, "Let's go."

"Are you sure?" Mori-kun was unsure; he thought that it could be a trap.

"Why not?" she didn't understand his question. "We are strung hunters I think there will be no problem to us." She said and quickly walked to the place.

'That's why everyone are angry at you Igarasi-san.' the boy thought, but didn't announced his thought. However he quickly overtook her.

After five minutes or even a bit less they found a big building. Igarasi insisted to enter it and investigate it, as there was a possibility to find something that could help them to find the kidnappers. The main thing they admitted that there was no security, for such place it was really interesting and caused concern. They decided to enter the building, and this time Igarasi listened to Mori, that it would be better to get there through the roof. They put on their masks, which were closing their mouths and entered the building through the ventilation. After some time of their travelling by the ventilation they decided to come out at the corridor.

"It's surprisingly quietly here, don't you think so?" Mori asked his teammate when they landed onto the floor.

"Yes, and it makes me nervous." by Igarasi's voice it was easy to understand that she didn't like how things turned. They decided to enter one of the rooms, and the next what they saw shocked thaem a lot. They saw a dark place which was slightly lit, there were a lot of cages, but still they all were empty, and also they found several corpse in the room. There was a lot of blood on the floor and on the walls too. All who was lying here were breathless.

"Do you think are these people who were kidnapped?" Mori asked worried and still shocked, it seemed that he had never seen something like this before.

"No these people are not in common clothes. They are in uniforms," she pointed at the man who had a gun in his hand, "So it must be the kidnappers."

"But if it's so." the boy still couldn't believe in what was going, "Who could do with them this?"

"I don't know, but we must be careful, maybe they're still somewhere here." she said calmly.

"Commander." this time who was contacting with the commander was the boy, "It seems we found the place where the lost people were kept, but…" he didn't finish and after a second the boy added, "It seems that those who was art and part in this kidnappings are dead. We don't know how it happened, but still I'm telling you we see. Understood twenty minutes." then he turned to Mori, "The addition squad will come her in twenty minutes."

"Okay, let's continue our investigation."

They left the room, and continued to wander by the corridors of the building. After sometime they came to the fourth floor.

"Damn! We found no information here." they heard the high and ringing voice. Both teens stopped immediately, "Did you found anything in their computers?" they heard the voice again. Then was a brief pause, "No." the voice sighed annoyed, "They can hide the information when they want. And where we suppose to find their next slave camp?" Igarasi signed to the boy not to give any sign of their presence. "How long are you going to keep calm? You know it pisses me off."

'It seems that there are two persons.' Igarasi and Mori thought at the same time.

The person who had the high voice exclaimed, "Do you really think that they will keep the information in these so called camps? If you really think so then you're crazy. Well I think it's the time for us to leave this place. I don't think that we will be able to find something we need here." Then they heard how the window was cracked and there was no sound after it.

"It seems that they have gone." Igarasi said quietly still dreading that there could be someone else.

"I think it's a good idea for us to leave this building too. If we don't want to get troubles." the boy concluded. The girl nodded and they left the building through the same window, which was used by the previous visitors.

After a brief period of time they saw a tall man, who was wearing black glasses and who was wearing the suit in dark colours, he was wearing tight body suit on his legs and on his torso was possible to see an armor, which closed almost all upper part of his body except his elbows. The man was serious and had formidable features of face. And it is easy to be frightened, when he sees him firstly. The man was bold and muscular. When he came to the young hunters he said demandingly.

"Report what have you found!"

"Commander Yatsu." the boy started, "It seems that this place was used as slave camp, we found cages here, I and we think that they could be used for holding the captivities." he watched at his partner, Igarasi and continued, "We think it's better to investigate it in two teams, as there still can be something or someone."

"And what about the personal?" the man asked the teens.

"They're unable to cooperate with us, commander Yatsu." the girl responded, the man watched at the girl, so she added, "They're all dead."

"Understood. Then let's go and investigate what you've found." the man said and was the first who entered the building, two young hunter followed him.

"So they're the ones who attacked us?" the massive man, who was in shadows of trees asked his partner in metal armor, who was standing near with him.

"It seems so. But still I don't know they able to illuminate all our men there." the man in metal armor referred.

"Let's go and take them down." the first person was about to go the hunters, when he was stopped by the second person.

"Wait fool. That bold man is Yatsu Kuro."

"You mean the one who has regenerating abilities?" the first person was surprised.

"Yes, and it's not his only ability." the man in the armor continued, "Our powers, pretty equal. And those children works with him, that means that they are not weak, and I know that he doesn't take weak hunters with him."

"So, do you suppose that they can beat me?" the second person didn't understand, "Do cast doubt on my power?"

"I didn't mean something like this idiot." the man in the armor started to become nervous, "I only mean that it's not the time to as to act right now. We must increase the security of all slave camps we have."

"And what about these hunters?" the second person asked again.

"I will deal with them myself." the warrior in metal armor said, and they immediately disappeared in the night.
