Chapter 8
"How do you think what Igawa-sensei will tell to us?" Pavel asked Chikeko walking by the corridors of the academy.
It's still was early morning so there was no one among them. Pavel was a little excited, he didn't know what Asagi would tell them, but it was well known that nothing good awaits them.
"I don't know, but if she doesn't ask you don't say a word, as a captain I'll speak myself." Chikeko said to Pavel, "However if she ask you just tell everything what was discussed."
"Got it." Pavel tried to stretch his arm but then squeezed his shoulder, "Man that Hush was really strong, I didn't know they would fight us seriously."
"What expected of the member of one of the most dangerous mercenary organization." Chikeko smiled, however her body was aching too. 'This two were really strong, I must practice harder.'
Their further way was passed in silence, Chikeko was thinking about their report to Asagi, and Pavel was thinking about the same, but still his thoughts were devoted to the young hunters, who left them not long ago.
'No doubt they'll handle it.' Pavel smiled to his thoughts, 'Tatsurou will be really helpful.'
Little by little, the time of the report was approaching, and when they came to the door of the principle, Chikeko stood up and took a deep breath preparing to kerbside conference herself. Pavel started to worry too and didn't know what to say in order to encourage his teacher. Chikeko put her hand onto the handle of the door and turned it.
When they opened the door they saw how Asagi was drinking coffee out of a pretty big mug. She was standing by the cabinet looking for something. When the two demon hunters looked entered the office Asagi turned her head towards them. He face was frown and in some ways mysterious.
"Sit down." Asagi pointed at the sofa continued examining her cabinet. Asagi took out some documents and went to her working place, "Now tell what have happened to you?" she said watching at them, "Where are Yukikaze and Tatsurou?"
"During our mission." Chikeko started, "We were attacked by 'The Third Law'." Asagi's face became frowner, "First we could clean the nest without problems, I was working with Pavel and Tatsurou was working with Yukikaze, but when we started to finish the mission two members of them arrived." she did a pause, "They were Etienne Richar and Mystic." Asagi looked at Pavel, the boy nodded, "We tried to fight them, but they were too strong for us." Chikeko explained, "We weren't too strong to fight them both."
Asagi listened to her very attentively she was watching at the two of them, their injures weren't serious, but still were a proof of a difficult fight, Chikeko was battered thoroughly, Pavel was battered too.
"As I understand you were fighting with Mystic, and you, Pavel were fighting with Etienne." Chikeko looked at the teacher first and then at the student.
"Yes." Pavel nodded, "They encountered Yukikaze and Tatsurou first. We tried to save them, but they were taken by the Pegasus."
'Not bad.' Chikeko thought, 'I didn't think about that moment.'
"I see." Asagi squeezed her fists, 'Always not in time.'
"The only question is what they did there." Chikeko sighed heavily, "And our further moves to save them."
Asagi didn't respond, Chikeko felt herself uncomfortable, Pavel was worried too.
"Did you notice some anomalies?" Asagi asked them, "Like a strong wind or earthquake?"
"No, nothing like this." Chikeko shook with her head, "Maybe they wanted to make these demons their allies?"
"Maybe." Asagi sighed still pondering about something.
"What bothers you Asagi?" Chikeko asked her.
"I'm bothered with what I should tell Rinko." Asagi finally responded, "If her brother and friend were captured she must be informed about that."
"Yes, it'll be really a difficult thing." Chikeko lowered her head, "As a captain of the squad, I'm to tell her about this."
"The only question I have is how you could escape? I fought Mystic and I know his potential he was fighting me on the same level."
"I ask this question too." Chikeko replied fast, "They could easily chase us, but they didn't do that."
Asagi rubbed her temples, 'Not only that.' she thought, 'I should predict that something like that would happen.' then she turned her head to Pavel, "Pavel, if we send an investigation squad will we be able to find something?"
"I…" Pavel stumbled, "I don't know, they can hide their trials when it's needed. But if you want to punish someone, then you should punish me if not my faults maybe…"
"Pavel, I was a captain." Chikeko interrupted him, "The punishment must be mine at the same time I should know that they would appear there and it was me, who should do everything to save students." Chikeko squeezed her fists, 'If only it would work.'
"Don't blame yourselves." Asagi sighed, "The fault is mine, I should send some more people with you, I didn't know that these criminals would appear. I will observe the investigation very carefully, so don't worry we'll find them in no time. I'll send best Taimanin to save them." Asagi got up, "The only thing I won't from you right now is just to rest and enjoy the upcoming vacation." Asagi said to them with a smile, "You may be free." Asagi said to them, but then quickly turned around, "Pavel I want you to stay for a little."
Pavel didn't like that he wanted to say something, but didn't. Chikeko got up and apologized to Asagi once more leaving Pavel alone.
Asagi came to the cabinet and took out two mugs, she took a kettle and poured water into them and then she took some packages and poured their content into the mugs.
"Do you drink coffee?" she suddenly asked him.
"Yeah." Pavel didn't know why she asked him, and further she was doing the coffee, more Pavel became worried.
"Sugar?"
"Two spoons." Pavel replied again, 'Has she suspected something?' Pavel thought, 'I think our game was successful. Perhaps, she could reveal something? But how? If only…'
"Pavel, I want to ask you one thing, about the theme we were talking about."
"What theme?" Pavel didn't understand.
"About the demon lords." Asagi added.
"I see." Pavel felt himself less tensed, 'Phew, I thought she wantto talk about that occasion.' then he asked her again, "But isn't it better to talk to Maria Sergeievna or Oleg Semenovich, they know much more about the legends about them."
"I don't think so." Asagi put the mug close to him, "You told it's just a fairy tale so their knowledge is must be on the same level as yours and since we've already discussed it, I want to know more about it from you."
"Well what do you want to here?" Pavel put her hand onto the handle of the mug.
"The seals we were talking about on the meeting of our squad." Asagi started, "Eugene Alexeyevich said they are created for holding something." Pavel started to make a sip, "I think they can hold these demons."
The boy started to cough he put the mug onto her desk, "What? Sensei, did you really belive to that thing?" Pavel asked her still coughing.
"First, as I remember you weren't sure in their existence." Asagi did a sip too, "Second, these theme must stay only between the two of us. Not even your Russian teachers must know about it." Pavel nodded, "During our sortie all together, I've encountered a demon, who proclaimed himself as a second Demon Lord of the secondline, couldn't you remind his description, please?"
"Well, he will make you a servant in death." Pavel replied remembering the needed words.
"That means he is a necromancer." Asagi said, "When you all split in groups I first fought Mystic, but then a strange person in silver armor appeared, he called himself that."
"Maybe it's just someone, who read these legends and decided to take this title?" Pavel didn't belive that Asagi seriously believed into that.
"I thought that too. But, when you told that he could turn people into servants I started to think that his words not just some blabbering." she did another sip, "I could get him, but then he turned into a skeleton and appeared behind me. He also could use aura and I think I shouldn't explain you what that means."
"Only strong demons can use it." Pavel pondered, "So you think these seals can return other demon lords?"
"I don't know, but I think their connection to these lords is closer then I think." Asagi replied, "Do you know Edwin Black?"
"Well the Vampire King, in our country he is well known person too." Pavel answered to her.
"I fought him in the past, and if I compare his powers with that man, Black won't stand with him even close." she became serious, "And this man called himself a true Vampire King."
"If everything you say is true, then we're in a great danger." Pavel wasn't glad f their talk, "If you're saying you fought him, then it's possible that there are can be other demon lords." Pavel replied.
"Yes, I'm afraid of this too, at the same time, I have another thought. What is their connection between the modern demon lords and these old ones?"
Silence covered the office. Asagi and Pavel were thinking about this theme if these demon lords were real, could it be possible to defeat them with their powers.
'If we have lots problems with Black, Kuroi and the rest, what can we wait from these ones?' Asagi thought, she turned to Pavel, and decided to change the theme of their talk, "By the way, Pavel I noticed you could make contacts with Andou, how could you do this?"
"Ah?" he turned his head to her, "Oh, you're about that." he smiled, "Just some persistence and convincing and nothing more."
"I see." Asagi smiled, "And what are you going to do now with it?"
"I'll help her of course." Pavel replied, he saw that Asagi wanted to ask him something, "It's a secret right now, sensei, so I won't tell it to you right now." he chuckled.
"Ikenami or Andou?" she asked him with a chuckled too making him to choke once more.
"Sensei! Are you doing this on purpose?!" Pavel tried to move aside the talk about two female Taimanin.
"But still." Asagi wanted to know the answer.
"I... I don't know what you want to know." Pavel tried to avoid the talk.
"I noticed that you have something to them." Asagi said, "So which one would you prefer?"
"Can I not answer this question?" Pavel asked her.
"Why? If you marry someone of them, I think new relations would appear between our countries."
Pavel's face started to become red, "I don't know." Pavel mumbled, "Both of them are good persons."
"I see." she took out something out of her desk and stretched it to Pavel, "Here." it was an envelope, "You have a letter, I was told to send all letters to you all to the dormitory."
"Me, a letter?" Pavel was surprised, he took it and his eyes widened, "From Russia?"
"Now go, and rest." Asagi said him seeing that the boy was eager to read the letter, "But remember, today after the second lesson you're going to the resort."
"Yes!" Pavel responded to her and left the office.
"And I'm to do the most difficult thing." Asagi sighed, "I hope Rinko won't take everything close and won't do anything reckless." she took out a mobile phone out of her bag pressed some times by the screen and put it to her ear, "Kuro, are you free right now? Come to my office, I have an urgent mission for you and take Ayame and Kurenai with you their help will be necessary too. Yes, I'm waiting."
"Home sweet home." Walter said as he appeared in magnificent and enormous vaults.
It was made of stone there were stone columns, and stone statue some of them reminded knights, some of them reminded some animals. Among them was no one so the echo of his voice could be heard in further parts of the vault.
"Finally I can prepare something what I want." the vampire king went ahead the vaults, "Interesting, how strong young instances of these Taimanin, I tiered to listen about their power skills, it's much better to check everything personally." he chuckled, "However, the power of this Asagi is really impressive, she could become one of my servants." he left the hall and now he was walking by the narrow one, "Though, she is not as strong as the woman I fought, she was much stronger, perhaps that Asagi is lack in her skills?" he did a turn to the right, "I hope Celine will do everything right, I don't her to spoil everything what I could make for that period of time."
Further way was spent in silence. His way was long, but after some period of time he found himself in somewhat of a torturing room. There were lots of instruments for it, like chains, blades, special cages and etc. Two persons were there, one was a skeleton, whilst the other one was a zombie. The interesting thing in them was their attire; both of them were wearing pirate's rags. Both of them had coats and hats. The zombie had shirt, which was belted with straps, while the torso of the skeleton was closed only with his greatcoat. Both of them head sabers on their belts. When Walter entered the room both of them got up immideately.
"How does our princess live?" Walter chuckled.
The zombie mumbled something incomprehensible on his questions and came to some cage, where one prisoner was. It was a person in white and purple costume with a mask of demon, which closed the full face of his. The person had scapulars on the shoulders. Iron boots covered the legs of person; it was possible to see that the breast of the person were quite big.
"Release her." the lord pointed at the woman, "I want to see her in obedience."
The skeleton nodded and with his saber broke her chains. Woman rubbed her wrists and turned her head to the armored man, she quickly dashed to him with her fist in readiness to attack. Her colorless long hair was waving.
"Obey!" he commanded, and stretched his arm.
The woman fall down onto the ground and squeezed her head with her hands. A strong cry was made by her. She was trembling and tried to get up, but everything she could do was only shivering.
"It seems you're still trying to resist my will." Walter said, "No matter, under my guidance you won't do that." he smirked, "It'd be dangerous to send you with these two." she mumbled something, "I have someone to test your abilities." he smirked, "This one is really strong, I hope you won't fail me, and will become one of my generals." he turned to the zombie and the skeleton, "Now with you two, I have a mission for the both of you." the two undead got up and came to him, "I want you to go to some special island and check some instances abilities." the zombie made some noises, "No, it's Taimanin Japanese hunters." the woman tried to get up, but the man quickly lowered his hand make her stay in the same position, "I didn't allow you to get up." the man then turned to the other two, "So? Do you understand your mission?" they both nodded, "Good, I'll deliver you there." the man chuckled, "And I think I'll send you with them, you'll watch and report everything to me."
"I… will…not…" the woman pronounced each word with pain and anger.
"We'll see." the man came to her, and exposing a bone out of his palm.
He broke the bone and cracked it into a dust. Then he put his hand onto her back between her bladder bones and started to draw something. In several second the woman got up.
"Now your moves won't be that free as before." he chuckled, "Report me everything what will happen on the island. If something happens return back, understood?"
"Yes." the woman hissed.
"Now the fun begins." Walter smirked, "Let's see what move they'll do after my one."
"Still nothing." Shizuru sighed after patrolling another place.
"Don't worry, let's continue." Kangaroo tried to cheer her, "I think this lunatic will show himself in any event."
"Yeah, but we must think as that person." Shizuru replied, "Mechanic told that he is and extraordinary person, so with our normal way of thinking we won't be able to find him."
"So, what do you suggest?" Massimo asked her.
"We must make an ambush." Shizuru said, "It's reckless and time-consuming, but still we will have an advantage over him."
"Yes, but we must know the rout of his way." Massimo replied quickly, "We can take one and then he'll fly by another one."
"Yes, here's the main problem." Shizuru sighed, "You have brains after all." Shizuru chuckled.
"Blonde bitch." Massimo grunted.
"We must take the one that leads to the factory. I think he'll go there for scouting." Shizuru replied and looked at her display on her glove, "And according this cyborg's memory there's only one way he used to go there." Suddenly she saw a red spot on the map of the town, "Just a second.
"What is it?" Kangaroo asked her.
"It seems the bird left its nest." the woman smiled, "Let's go we can catch him."
And she jumped onto another building, two males followed her.
"Here, we can snap up him!" Shizuru did a turn to the left, "If we hurry, we'll be able to prepare an ambush!"
"Got it." Massimo grabbed the boy and then increased his speed.
It was a surprise for Shizuru that something that big had such a big speed. The boy seemed wondered too, but still he like the ride Massimo gave him.
After some period of time Shizuru took out her whip and elongated it make somewhat of a wire, which connected two building.
"No!" they heard a voice and then the flying object hit the wire and changed its route to the down to the well-lit lane, the object hit the fire-escape stair and then hit the trash can, "Shit! The hell it was?!" but then he saw how he was surrounded, "You again?!" he stretched his arm, but he it was tied with a whip.
"Don't point your guns at kids." Shizuru lectured the fallen person, "It was a really pain to find you Mosquito."
"Yeah, if not you cyborg we still would be looking for you." Massimo pointed at him with his axe.
"Now I understand what for my cyborg went." Mosquito smirked, he tried to pull his arm but it was tied well.
"Don't worry you won't escape." Shizuru said to him, "Now if you don't mind I'll ask you some questions and if you want to see further morning, you'll answer them."
"And what if I reject?"
"They'll have some fun with you." Shizuru nodded at the two males, Massimo hit his fist at his palm, while Kangaroo was putting on his claws, "We all were wondered what binds you with Sasaki, why did you attack him?"
"He owes me. And not long ago he started to work off. And I don't like when people fucking me." he replied.
"I still don't understand." Shizuru told him.
"He paid me for keeping in secret his developments, and now he decided to be bold enough to play with me."
"What developments are you talking about?" Shizuru asked him pulling her whip, "Is it some big junk?"
"So you've met it and as I understand he could even capture some of your friends." Mosquito glance over the company, "How could you escape it, is it still hulking?"
"None of your business." Shizuru pulled the whip again, "What's so special in that thing?"
"This thing is able to fight Taimanin like you alone without any help it can even deal with a big squad." the captivity answered, "And when he fixes its speed, he will get you all."
"You've said about developments does it mean he has something else?" Kangaroo asked him.
"Of course, that 'Destroyer' is a combination of a human and a robot. And I think I know what for he will use your friends." he laughed.
"He will make cyborgs out of them, won't he?!" Shizuru raised her voice.
"No way!" Kangaroo was shocked of that news, "We must hurry! And save them."
"The hell he will do that." Massimo responded, "I'll put that junk deep into the ass of that Sasaki."
"Taimanin detected!" they all heard a voice behind them; "Process of capturing is settled!"
They turned around and saw six cyborgs, which were in the both sides of the lane. They all were similar. One of them stretched its arm out and shot at them with a rocket.
"Shit!" Shizuru spitted as they all jumped aside letting Mosquito to free.
The chunter for information took a wing and exclaimed, "Oh! Isn't it a battle for life?" he said watching at the fighters "Interesting who'll be the winner of that fight?!"
"Damn bastard!" Massimo spitted repelling the attack of one cyborg, "If not that damn bastards. Kangaroo deal with these ones."
"Got it." the boy jumped and crossed his claws with the blade of the machine.
"It seems hunters became prays am I right?" Mosquito continued to laugh over the Taimanin and two mercenaries, "But let's make it more funny." he put his hand onto his belt and took out a bomb he started to throw it up, then he threw it at Shizuru.
Massimo quickly grabbed one machine and threw it to the way of the bomb. The bomb exploded and the cyborg was turned into a piece of scrap.
"Thanks." Shizuru chuckled, "I owe you one."
"Drink and thing more." Massimo replied, but that started to fight another cyborg.
The number of machines started to decrease. The unexpected attack of Mosquito let them reshuffle their forces, so know the boy helped to the elder comrades. Mosquito tried to get them with another grenade, but Shizuru could catch it with her whip and destroy other two machines, which didn't expect such thing.
'Well that naughty man.' Shizuru thought, 'It's difficult to fight having him behind.'
"We are to save our comrades." Kangaroo said coming to the woman, "We can let them turn them into machines."
"Yes, but we still don't know, where to find him." Massimo joined the talk, "We're to investigate the whole factory."
"How convenient, you're going to investigate the factory." they heard a voice a flying lunatic, "While you looking for friends, I'll take what is due to me." the man flew to the side of the factory.
"I don't know, but we can lose this opportunity." Shizuru said, "If this freak is heading to the factory we are to follow him."
"Are you sure it isn't the trap of this scum?" the man asked the woman.
"I don't think so." Shizuru shook with her head, "If he would work with Sasaki he would help these cyborgs properly."
"Fine, let's follow him then." The man said and the group headed to the direction of the factory.
"Why the hell we're going to your base?" Yukikaze asked Splash who was jumping from one building to another one, "I thought we'll go to save our mother straight after the joining.
"Don't drive horses." Splash said to her, "We are to get the information on the places, where you mother can be."
"Huh?" the girl didn't understand.
"Our comrade has a plan of the locations, where are the places, of the possible presence of your mother. We're to take it and then after a short break we'll be able to go." Splash explained.
"At the same time, you'll be able to ask our commander several questions about your father." Doppel said to the girl with a merry voice.
"They're right Yukikaze we need to rest after that mission and that trip." Tatsurou agreed with their new friends, "We will only meddle if we won't rest properly."
"The boy is a voice of reason, huh?" Splash smirked, "I like him."
"Fine." Yukikaze turned her head away, "Anyway, I wanted to know something about my father after all."
"Commander will tell more information about him." Doppel said to her.
'Just like Yasuhiro.' Splash thought, 'But more spoffish, that boy what role is he playing in their relations? Just a boyfriend, nothing more?'
Their way continued, in the same quick pace. In an half of an hour they reached some building, the window of it was opened, so it wasn't difficult for them to jump in to it.
"So this is your shelter?" Yukikaze asked the group, "Quite interesting place."
The room where they were had absolutely nothing, and served like a entering place for the mercenaries.
"You haven't seen everything yet." Doppel chuckled and took out some card she pressed it over the panel and the door which led to the main corridor was opened, "Now we're in our base." she chuckled.
Tatsurou and Yukikaze said nothing, but only followed their new friends, who were their attendants.
After walking the corridors of the base they found a man with white hair and white uniform.
"Decided to have break?" he asked them, but then his eyes were stopped on the young hunters, "And who are these one? Your captivities?" he asked the member of the division.
"What your tongue ice head." Splash replied, "They're our guests right now."
"Wait, have you brought them here?" Avalanche was shocked hearing that, "Does Commander know about that? Do you understand what he will do to you? You showed our base to someone we even don't know, have you smoke your brains away?" Avalanche was excited, he didn't know how to react at word of his comrade, but suddenly he felt his hand on his shoulder.
"Calm down these two are unique guests, so don't worry too much about them." a strict and serious voice said.
Avalanche turned around and saw a man with blond hair and a eye patch on his eye.
"Commander, didn't know that you have special guests." Avalanche was surprised of that Commander was the one, who let these two to pass the threshold of their base, "I thought you never allow bring trespassers here."
"This one is Mizuki Yukikaze." he pointed at the tanned girl with guns, "The daughter of Mizuki Yasuhiro."
"So it's the girl, whose mother you want to save?" Avalanche asked him.
"Yes, but the boy is not familiar to me." Commander watched at him.
"I'm Akiyama Tatsurou." the boy presented himself, "Nice to meet you." he even bowed in a sign of politeness.
"What polite one." Avalanche chuckled, "Nice to meet again."
"Akiyama?" Commander seemed quite astonished; he even narrowed his eye, "The son of Akiyama Minori?"
"Yes, I am." the boy nodded.
"One surprise after another one." Cyclopes said watching at the boy, 'So this is the son of the woman, who kicked the ass of our former leader.' he smirked in his head, 'Interesting, world is closer then I thought.'
"Do you know, my mother?" the boy asked him with a worried voice.
"No, but I've heard a lot about her." Commander replied, "Well, I think you want to rest, don't you?" he said to both of them, "You can feel yourself here like at home." Commander turned around and headed somewhere he only knew.
"Wait!" Yukikaze exclaimed, "We came here not just to rest, I want to know about my father, why you have his guns? Why do you help me?"
"She must know that after all." Doppel joined the side of the Taimanin.
"I thought Splash told her everything, didn't he do that?" Commander raised his eyebrow.
"No we decided to give this opportunity to you." Doppel said, "After all this information is kind of…" she stumbled for a second.
"Secret." Splash grunted with annoying voice, "And that bastard didn't let us tell them even a single important thing." he pointed at Hush.
"I see." Commander smiled slightly, "I have a counter-offer."
"Huh?" all of them were amazed of these words except Hush.
"I want to see you in battle, impress me and I'll tell you about Yasuhiro." Commander turned and went somewhere by the corridor.
"What does it mean?" Yukikaze looked at Splash.
"Don't think about it too much, he has his own cockroaches." he replied her and followed his elder comrade.
"I think you'll be able to do this." Doppel clapped Tatsurou on his back.
"Will you explain what the hell is going on?!" Yukikaze exclaimed, but she felt a hand on her shoulder.
"Don't worry Yukikaze, I think they just want to check our abilities." Tatsurou said to her, "They're mercenaries and think in their own way." he did a pause, "Let's just take part in that training, it'll give us some information about the comrades of uncle."
Yukikaze was watching at him, "Since when you're trying to say cool things?"
"What?!" the boy was shocked of her answer, "I… don't even try too…"
"Hey snails are you going?!" Splash shouted to them.
"Yes." they both replied, 'It seems the leaving started to change you.' Yukikaze smiled glancing at her boyfriend, 'Interesting, how much will we change during it?"
Tatsurou and Yukikaze caught up their new comrades fast. On their way Doppel talked to the kids, while Splash and Commander discussed something on another language. Yukikaze was talking with Doppel about missions, while Tatsurou tried to understand, what the men were talking about.
'It's definitely not English.' he thought, 'I would easily understand it, does it mean they're from one place?'
"Right now Drunkard is on the investigation the other place, so you're to take one of the five of them." Commander said.
"Finally that alcoholic will give is some value." Splash replied fast, "I thought he would do some useless spying again."
"I've tired of your grunting." Commander said to him, "You all are doing important work; even watching after 'The Third Law' is important work."
"Yeah, yeah, but these scums won't escape, after all Taimanin will handle with them." Splash said to him, "Or at least you and that Avalanche will help them."
"We're only two, right now. Don't think the two of us will be able to deal with the whole organization." Commander was irritated of the careless of his subordinate, "Even with Professor and the Penetrator we won't be able to fight them all."
"Really, I thought with your eye, you are to deal with a big squad, I thought you're able to defeat Asagi with some hunters."
'These words are similar to…' Tatsurou was astonished, 'The ones Oleg-sensei and Pavel speak between each other. Could it be they're two Russians?' Tatsurou was watching at them.
"Earth to Tatsurou." Yukikaze said in to his ear.
"Huh? What it is?" he seemed winded.
"Is he always that thoughtful?" Doppel asked the tanned Taimanin.
"Yep." Yukikaze nodded, "It's a rare thing to see him not thoughtful." she chuckled, "He always ponders a lot."
"We have someone like him." Doppel chuckled and looked at Hush, who was walking behind them, "You never know does he listen to you or just thinking about something else."
After some time they came to the spacy room, which served as a practice facility. Doppel, Avalanche, Hush and Splash stood aside in order not to be taken with the attacks of the combatants.
"Come on kids! Make him!" Doppel cheered the young hunters.
"Funny." Splash smirked at the cheering of the woman.
"Interesting, how long they will stand against Commander?" Avalanche asked himself out loud.
"Do you need some time to overthink your strategy?" the man with the eye patch asked the young ones.
Yukikaze exposed her guns and pointed at him, "Like always, I attack you protect." she said to Tatsurou.
"Yeah." the boy nervously responded, exposing his katana, "I'll do my best."
Tatsurou watched at the man. Now he saw a two sided scythe in his hand. The boy gulped preparing for worse.
"Don't worry, we'll give him some real pain." Yukikaze chuckled.
"I'm starting." Commander said and dashed to Tatsurou on a full speed.
"So fast?" the boy was astonished of the man's speed.
Tatsurou crossed the blade of his katana with the blade of the scythe. Yukikaze quickly jumped and did two shots out of her guns. Tatsurou jumped of the attack route, letting them to get Commander, but the man jumped away too. Tatsurou did a swing with his katana too, releasing a wind blade at the man. But the man did the same that made Tatsurou's one to be stopped.
"Wind ability?" Yukikaze noticed it.
'So he can use range attacks too.' Tatsurou pondered, "Yukikaze, I'll try to attack him." the boy said.
"Got it, I'll cover your hide."
This time Tatsurou ran to the man, he started to attack him with his katana, but Commander easily parried all of them. Commander used his scythe skillfully and didn't let the boy to get closer to him. Yukikaze helped him perfectly, her shots were all in time, but the man easily dodged them. Suddenly Commander jumped away, and threw his scythe at the boy.
'That was close.' he thought as he dodged it.
Yukikaze jumped and while the man was armless. She shouted, "Take that!" she did two strong shots at the man.
"Not bad." he said, but then did a swing with his arm, releasing a puff of wind at her, it hit Yukikaze, but she landed perfectly.
"Well, let's increase the rhythm." the man said to them.
"Yukikaze, I have an idea, can you buy me some time?" the boy asked her.
"I'll try." she nodded.
Tatsurou cut his cheek, and took some blood. Then he bowed and quickly started to draw something.
'Seal?' he thought, 'That damn teacher teach them really well.' Commander smirked.
Yukikaze quickly charged her guns and started to shot with larger lightning bolts. Commander only dodged her attack watching at the boy.
"Yukikaze step aside!" the boy shouted, Yukikaze did what was told.
Tatsurou put his hand onto the seal and a strong puff of wind was released out of it and then wind blades started to attack the man. However the man easily blocked them with his scythe.
'If you want to see the work of the real seal art, look." the man said, letting one blade too cut his cheek.
Commander took some blood and started to draw the seal, however the signs were different. He put his hand onto the seal too, and a powerful puff of wind made the young hunters to fly away. His moves were too fast that they could do nothing to prevent his attack. While Tatsurou tried to get up, he saw how a blade was pressed to Yukikaze's neck.
"Let's finish for now." Commander said, putting his scythe back on his back, "For your age you have good skills, but you're to advance in order to improve them."
"So, have w amazed you?" Yukikaze asked the man with a grin.
"Quite." he replied to her, "So, what do you want to know about your father?" the man knew that Yukikaze wanted to know about her father everything, however he didn't let her start to speak, "Let's make it easier what do you know about him?"
Splash, Doppel and Avalanche came to them.
"I know only that he helped you a lot, he distracted the attention of Taimanin letting you work in Japan. I know that his first meeting was with him." she pointed at Splash, "And…" she mumbled, "I also heard that he could be a traitor…"
"I see." Cyclopes sighed, "So you told her even this."
"It was that one who said, this he just heard the talk of Asagi with someone else." Splash looked at Tatsurou, the voice of Splash was irritated.
"Well, it's a long talk." Commander said, "If you're interested in it, follow me, let's take a better place for the discussion."
The crowd followed the man to the place, where they could have a talk without extra ears and at the same time, where was possible to find some comfort.
"So this is the factory you were talking about?" Kangaroo asked Shizuru as they were standing on the nearby building.
"Yes." Shizuru was watching at it, "But the main problem is to find a way there, if we trespass its territory we'll be detected fast."
"Don't worry, that brat will do his work." Massimo chuckled.
"What? How?" she asked him.
"I can feel the emptiness in the ground like tunnels, caves and etc." the boy explained.
"Well, not a bad ability." Shizuru chuckled and combed his hair.
They jumped off of the building and the boy quickly rushed to the fence of the factory. The boy put his hand onto the ground and started to think of something. After several seconds he returned to the lane to his comrades.
"There is a tunnel." the boy pointed to the corner of the fence, "It's small and leads somewhere deeper but I think it's what we need."
"I see." the woman nodded, "Are you ready?" she asked the male hunters.
"Yeah." the man grinned, "Let's crush some garbage."
"I'm in too." the boy nodded, "I'll go first and prepare the manhole." both of the elders agreed and the boy ran to the needed place.
The boy ran to the corner and put both hands onto the ground. The ground under him disappeared quickly. The other two comrades were watching at him carefully and when they saw that, and then Massimo and Shizuru quickly followed the boy. They jumped into the hole and then the boy closed it fast.
"Let's hope they didn't detect us." Kangaroo prayed.
"But we must be ready for it." Shizuru smiled to him, and prepared her whip.
"Man, it's so boring to sit here doing absolutely nothing." Mechanic moaned, "At least gave us a book or some game."
"You have a strange understanding about captivity." Murasaki said to him, "Maybe they should bring you some fried chicken with wine?"
"I'm not Etienne so no need to bring that all, however I wouldn't mind against a mug of cold beer." Mechanic chuckled.
"Nice to ee you're trying to stay positive." Murasaki chuckled, "Some people would feel opposite on your place."
"But we're not just ordinary people." he responded to her, "However, I'm worry of our friends, I hope they will find us soon."
"Sooner than you can even imagine." they heard a voice, "Your friends are coming to my trap." he chuckled.
"Sasaki, don't underestimate them." Murasaki warned the man, "When they free us, I'll personally throw you into the jail."
"I just can't wait these." Sasaki laughed, "But I think you'll serve me soon, after your friends are done."
"Loud words." Mechanic said, "If your toys couldn't get them then they are just nothing, but a pile of old garbage."
"I just let you all to get into here." Sasaki grinned, "Did you really think I'll be not prepared? I've prepared myself for the both outcomes."
"Our comrades will find a way to impress you." Murasaki replied.
Sasaki snapped with his fingers and four cyborgs came to him.
"Bring them to the testing room, I want to start the work over my project." he said to them, but then he heard quick steps, and voice behind him.
"Boss! We're attacked!" the man shouted.
"I know by the Taimanin." Sasaki looked at them with a grin, "Just send Destroyer, "There'll be nothing special for him."
"No! We're attacked by a flying person in some strange armor!" the man replied.
"What?!" Sasaki exclaimed hearing that.
'That freak?' Murasaki looked at er friend in captivity, the last one only smiled.
"That Mosquito…" Sasaki mumbled.
"He is with some robot. And Taimanin are fighting the first bunch of robots." the man added after some seconds.
"I see." Sasaki said, "Send Destroyer to deal with the Taimanin and the cyborgs to deal with Mosquito."
"Got it." the man ran away.
"Told you, they'll find a way to impress you." Murasaki chuckled.
"The game still hasn't showed the winner." Sasaki replied, "You've done your move, now it's mine." then he left the prisoners letting the cyborgs to drag them somewhere they only knew.
"Well, well." Mosquito pondered as he was flying above the factory with a cyborg by his side, "Where this technology could be placed? Maybe, it'll be much easier to find its scheme? Yeah, but where to start?" suddenly he landed onto the rooftop of some workshop and noticed some stir in the corner of the factory, "Where are you going?" Mosquito pondered watching at the hunters, and then they disappeared being sank into the ground, "Peculiar." he chucked, "So there's where his factory is. But I'll visit his office first, maybe he has something there." and then he flew to the building, which was the biggest one.
He flew to it and started to fly around it looking for the office. He started to check the last levels and then suddenly stopped.
"Here it is." he said watching at the window, where was a pretty luxurious office with a table near the window and a computer on it, there was a sofa too, "Well, pretty tough." he hit by the window; he pressed some buttons on the display of his arm, and started to cut a circle with a laser.
Some seconds and the circle was cut, he pushed onto it and it fall down onto the floor. He flew into the office leaving the cyborg patrolling outside.
"Now let's see your secrets." Mosquito said almost cooing, he turned it on and saw the password screen, "Conductors!" he commanded, the cyborg took out two conductors and threw them to the collector of the information.
He quickly inserted them into his display and then into the computer, "Now, let's do it like this." he said to himself, and started to press buttons quickly, in a minute the password screen was changed in the working screen, "Perfect!" he chuckled, "Now computer, where are you hiding all interesting?" he started to watch throw one folder after another, "We'll let's do it easier."
He returned to his panel and started and then transferred some program into the computer. The program was installed fast, but while it was installing he heard some noise. He turned to the door and in next moment it was broken up. Five cyborgs entered the office and prepared to attack the armored man.
"Changing!" Mosquito commanded and the cyborg flew into the office, while Mosquito flew behind him.
The cyborg released a blade out of his hand and started to fight enemies. Mosquito was helping from behind; he was shooting at them with a gun which was taken out of his belt. The cyborgs hit Mosquito's one powerfully and, but its armor was perfect and only scratches were left on his body. The man's cyborg started to fight a bit more unordinary, he dodged the attacks of the cyborgs and one of them was opened he put his free hand onto the arm of the enemy and then send it spinning.
"This magnetic technology is awesome." Mosquito chuckled.
However the other two quickly attacked the cyborg again.
"Aside!" the lunatic shouted, the cyborg flew away, and Mosquito quickly threw something at the cyborgs, and in now time the two of them started to twitching, and after some seconds they fell down, "Deal with the other two." He commanded and returned to the computer.
Mosquito looked at the panel and started to look for the information further.
"Finally!" he was rejoiced as the screen showed at least something, "Damn, all information is in the underground laboratory! But the only good thing is that I know the way there, and the way to the main computer." he looked at the cyborg what was finishing the last one, "Destroy it." Mosquito pointed at the computer, and flew away into the window.
The cyborg smashed the computer and then followed his master.
"Well, now let's talk about your father." Commander said, as he sat into a cosy arm chair.
Yukikaze sat onto the sofa along with Tatsurou and Avalanche. Splash and Doppel sat onto the sofa, which was opposite to the other one, but there was no Hush. The room was pretty cosy and well lit, as if it was created for some special meetings.
Commander took a deep breath and started, "Several years before, the roads of your father and ours crossed. As you've already known, it Splash and some other person, who encountered him. With the help of your father we were able to settle in Japan much faster."
"I still can't understand how my father started to work with you. I don't think that he liked just because of one meeting." Yukikaze said to him.
"You're right, we've encountered several time after this mission." Splash said to Yukikaze with a slight smile, "I and Commander met him." he added as he took out some metal box out of his vest.
"Not among children!" Doppel whipped out the box out of his hands.
"Hey! Give it back damn blonde." Splash was angry that the box with cigarettes was stolen.
"Doppel give it back." Commander stood on the side of Splash, "Well, you're the second meeting was the one, which made your father one of the reliable supporters of our organization."
"What has happened that it became so?" Yukikaze asked him her eyes demanded answers.
"The second mission was about to save one scientist." Commander replied, "He did a lot of crimes and we were to bring him to the court, while your Taimanin were ordered to kill him, during that mission I've faced your father along with Igawa Asagi."
"I was fighting your father, while Commander was fighting Asagi with some other members." Splash added.
"They were your mother and Yatsu Kuro." Commander said with a serious voice.
"What?! You could fight them three at once?!" Tatsurou and Yukikaze were shocked hearing that, "Is it because of that?" Tatsurou nodded at his eye patch.
"Yeah, I have worse wounds if not my comrade." Commander answered, "He saved my life then."
"Was it Splash?" Yukikaze asked him.
"No someone else, I think you'll meet soon enough." Commander smiled with a mysterious smile, "Your father also understood that this man was important and his knowledge could help find lots of criminal organization, but the orders of your head were opposite." he did a pause, "Your father was a tremendous opponent, but still the others were frightening too." he said.
"And from that he shared your ideals?" Tatsurou asked the man.
"Kinda, he could contact us after some period of time, as he wanted to ask a help. The former leader didn't want to do that, but someone has insisted quite strongly." Splash turned away after these words, "So we decided to help him in exchange he offered us some places for shelters, and then we started to work together little by little."
"Why my father was called a traitor?" Yukikaze asked the man, "Did he do something serious?"
"I can't tell you that, as this information was closed not by me, but I'll tell only that your country suspected him in working with Russia."
"Huh?!" Yukikaze exclaimed.
"Uncle would never betray our country and the village!" Tatsurou protested too.
"I didn't say that he was a traitor of your country." Commander said calmly that made them surprised more, "Your father was framed. I'll try to ask some documents, but I don't know will they be given to you or not."
"I want to know is your organization, belongs to Russia?" Tatsurou asked him, "As I got it you two spoke in Russian, so could it be that Uncle could…"
"Our organization is multicultural." Commander replied fast, "We have Americans, Scandinavian Yugoslavian and other nationalities."
"So you don't belong to other countries?" Yukikaze asked him.
"No, our heads are all high paid in all countries." he answered to her.
"Then another question." Yukikaze said, "How the guns of my father appeared in your organization? I know his work so you won't fool me with that."
"This story will be told by Splash." Commander replied, but then his telephone rang, "Yes?" he asked in the phone, "Right now? Fine, follow him, but don't do anything reckless, if he tries to destroy the information destroy him first, as he will try to take it then destroy the information."
"With whom is he talking?" Yukikaze asked Avalanche.
"It's about a mission of some other member." Avalanche answered her, "Nothing to worry." he smiled to her.
"Yes, just do it." Commander said and put his phone into the pocket again, "Fine, I'll leave you for now, Avalanche something to discuss, and you two show them their places, rest and tomorrow go on the searching of Mizuki Shiranui, got it?"
"Yes!" the four replied Yukikaze was encouraged, 'Finally, I'll be able to save mum! This time I'll do my best.' she was shining even her face was so.
Commander let the room with his subordinate.
"Well, let's us show your dorms." Splash said, "I hope you won't cause problems to other members."
"Don't worry, they'll cause less discomfort than you with Drunkard." Doppel looked at him with a chuckle.
"Why you…" he gritted threw his teeth.
Yukikaze and Tatsurou were led to the free rooms pretty fast. Doppel explained where the needed rooms as toilet, shower and the dining room. She also told that her room was close to their so if they had extra questions they could ask them to her. Yukikaze and Tatsurou entered the room and saw a pretty cosy dorm with two beds, and a table between them. There were some books on it and a chair by the table.
"Man, if only there was a computer with some games." Yukikaze moaned, "I hate books."
"Why, I think they're interesting." Tatsurou replied and started to watch at their names, his eyes stopped on one small, which had English letters he took it and put it onto the bed.
"I thought I knew everything about my father, but it appears that I didn't know him at all." Yukikaze said with a lowered voice, "I even don't know what to think about him."
"It's ordinary, I think." Tatsurou sat on to the bed next to her, "I mean we even don't know much about our mentor, so what to speak about our parents." he lowered his head, "For example, I know nothing about my mother, how she was killed and where is she now, the only thing now I know is that she faced these guys, but still nothing more."
"Don't worry, after we save mum, we'll try to know about your mum!" Yukikaze looked at him with cheering expression, her voice was encouraging, "I promise."
"Thank you Yukikaze." Tatsurou smiled to his girlfriend, "You always know what to say in order to encourage me."
"We're childhood friends after all, and we're a couple too, so to cheer you up is my duty." she chuckled, "But still one thing doesn't make me calm. Why my father was cooperating with them? I mean what interests banded them?"
"Maybe something significant?" Tatsurou answered with a question, "He is not from those people, who would do reckless things, however…"
"What?" Yukikaze looked at him.
"Knowing you I can't be sure in it." Tatsurou laughed.
"Hey! The hell should it mean?!" Yukikaze shouted, "Do you want to say that I'm reckless?!"
"No, I didn't mean it in a bad way." Tatsurou tried to correct himself, "I mean, you're reckless in a good way." she watched at him with a puzzled expression, "I just want to say, that you're bald and always lay yourself out to show your skills, and that what I like in you." he turned away, as he didn't want to show his red face to her.
Yukikaze's cheeks became red too, "You know, I just can understand one thing about you Tatsurou." she came closer and grinned, "Since when you've became so frank and bald too?"
"Huh?" Tatsurou quickly turned to her.
"Don't huh to me. When you've became so brave? You always was so indecisive and uncertain, so I want to know what made you to change." she did a pause, "Don't tell me that these Russians did this."
Tatsurou didn't answer for minute, but then suddenly answered as Yukikaze still wanted to know the answer, "Probably." he mumbled.
"Wow, what people." the man in the greatcoat and a service cap, was surprised as two persons appeared behind him, "Didn't know they will send me reinforcement."
"We appeared, because we received a little another task." the person that looked like a lizard with processes on his shoulders and two tentacles, which grew out of his back.
"And what is it about?" the man in the cap asked him, "Is it a seal or what?"
"Yes, but still it's uncertain, so we must check one place." the lizard person replied, "And at the same time, Commander asked about your investigation of Shiranui."
"Professor, you always want to know a lot." he sighed, "If I found something, I'd reported about it."
"I know that Drunkard, but extra questions aren't extra." Professor said with a hissing voice.
"Well, at least something entertaining." Drunkard took out a flask out of his greatcoat, quickly opened it and did three sips out of it, "The most interesting thing is that they sent you with him." Drunkard looked at Hush, who was peacefully standing next to Professor.
"Let's not waist time and go straight to the needed place." Professor said and then Drunkard came to the monster.
"Yeah, Yeah." Drunkard mumbled.
Professor closed his eyes and focused on something and after a minute they, disappeared and appeared in absolutely another place.
"And? Where we are?" the man asked the monster.
"I don't know, but I sense something strange here." Professor replied watching at the countryside district, "There." he pointed at the old building.
The three of them jumped to the building, on their way they discussed that Hush will stay aside and protect their backs, while Professor and Drunkard will investigate the building along with Hush's drone. Drunkard and Professor came to the building and Professor suddenly trembled.
"What is it?" the man asked him, "Too cold?"
"No, I just felt something strange." Professor said thoughtfully, then he exclaimed, "Jumping aside!" Drunkard and the monster jumped away and in no time the place where they were standing was attacked.
"So what we have here?" they heard a growling voice.
"It seems we were chased after all." the gentle voice said.
When the dust was dispelled away, they saw two demons one Tardis and Tiradex. Who were in a company of Archon.
"Didn't know you're here." Drunkard chuckled seeing a man with claws and in black and purple uniform.
"The same I want to say to you." Archon responded to the man with the cap, "I thought you're from those who like to stay in base more." then he turned his head to professor, "Even you're here too." Archon flinched, but still didn't show it.
"I will deal with the human." Tiradex growled, he prepared his claws and wanted to spit flame out of his maw, but Tardis's voice stopped him.
"No. We have no intentions to fight them now." the Pegasus said, "The seal is not here, so the fight is not needed."
"Huh?!" the dinosaur looked at him.
"Against him." Tardis pointed at the strange person, "You have no chances and at the same time they defiantly have someone behind."
"But still we can try." Archon looked at Tardis, "Or what?"
"No, we're leaving."
"Like we'll give you such opportunity." Drunkard took out his sickles.
But Pegasus did a strong swing with his wings, and then the wind covered them, and after some seconds they disappeared.
"The hell was it?" Drunkard looked at Professor, "Why they didn't attack us?"
"It seems they were after seal too." Professor pondered, "But there were no anomalies…" he put his finger onto his chin, "Maybe it was just a mistake?"
"Fantastic." Drunkard put his weapon under his greatcoat, "Haven't found anything and haven't fight." he took out a flask and did a sip out of it, "Almost done, have to find something else."
"Well let's check the place too, maybe we'll find what they didn't." Professor offered, and the duo entered the old building, with a drone.
After some period of time they returned to Hush, the drone returned onto his chest.
"Just a waste of time." Drunkard said, as he came to Hush, "The best thing we can do is just to wait the appearance of anomalies and then act."
"We must check all strangeness, we don't know where the seal can be." the strange one said, "Two seal are destroyed, we can't let the other four be destroyed too."
"Yeah, but rushing with no clues gives us nothing too. So my point of view is just to wait and do what we were ordered to do."
"I'll return you back to the base; from there you'll be able to continue your work." Professor nodded.
"Send me to some bar, I want to fill that." he shook his flask, which was almost empty.
"Fine, come closer." Professor sighed, and in a minute they disappeared again.
