Chapter 3
Stephanie was jumping from one building to another and then returned to the one where Celine was standing. Celine was watching how the woman that now possessed her powers was doing such a simple exercise. Stephanie jumped with grace. Celine showed how to jump from time to time, nd it wasn't that gracious as Stephanie did.
"I think I'm becoming a good guide for you." Stephanie chuckled, when she decided to have a break.
"Yes…" Celine exhaled cold stream, "Quickly… know basis…"
"Even my shots became really well aimed. Maybe we should do something?" Stephanie mumbled then.
"Something…?" Celine bent her head in questioning.
"Well, I mean to celebrate my success in trainings." Stephanie explained, "You promised me to eat with me, do you remember it?"
"Yes…" Celine nodded and raised her head at the bright sky, "First… one practice… then eat…" Celine returned her eyes to the woman, "Will practice… with weapons…"
"You mean in fighting with it?" Stephanie asked the demon lord.
Celine nodded, "Must understand… concept…" Celine created two swords, "First… must understand… what good…" and handed the swords.
"I see." Stephanie took accepted the swords, "Should do something with them?" Celine nodded again.
Stephanie gulped, but still tried to do some movement. Her tried were funny and awkward, however she tried her best in that.
"Not good…" Celine shook with her head, "Try with one…"
Stephanie put returned one sword and repeated some lunges again. This time her movements were a little better, but still not good for Celine and she decided to change the weapon. Next was a halberd. Stephanie didn't know how deal with it and started to do some swings with it, so Celine decided to continue with choosing of the weapon. Then was a spear everything was the same like with a halberd.
"Not good…" Celine concluded when the spear didn't fit Stephanie too.
Then she created daggers, and gave them to the girl. This time, everything was a little different. Stephanie's moves were better and she could deal with them much better than with swords which were longer.
'Daggers… good…' Celine thought, 'But… must practice… more…" she concluded then, "Now… attack me…"
"What?" the woman didn't understood the command.
"Attack me…" Celine repeated her command.
"Are you sure?" Stephanie mumbled.
"Can dodge everything…" the armored one replied, "Just… do that…"
Stephanie nodded and squeezed the daggers, and tried to do what was told. Celine quickly dodged.
"Continue…" Celine commanded again, but still quietly as it was just something ordinary, but not an order.
Stephanie did another try and then continued again and again. Celine was quick and didn't gave an opportunity to give her a scratch. Stephanie tried her best, but the demon lord didn't want to make everything easy and didn't let the woman even to get to her.
"That's not fair!" Stephanie moaned after some minutes, "You're a skillful fighter, and I've just started to fight!"
Celine stopped, when she saw that Stephanie seemed a little tired. Strange sound was made by Celine, but then she exhaled a cold stream.
"Done… for now…" Celine replied seeing that Stephanie wasn't able to continue her chasing, "Can…eat…"
Celine snapped with her fingers and the daggers melted like the previous weapons. Stephanie tried to get up, and came closer to Celine.
"Will train with daggers… will explain… how create them…"
"Got it." Stephanie nodded, 'Interesting, we'll I be able to become like her?'
Celine exhaled a cold stream and both of them appeared in front of some eatery, which was pretty fancy and stylish. Stephanie was a little surprised that the place was expensive and didn't know was a good idea to attract attention with their attires.
"Will do… same…" Celine explained seeing Stephanie's puzzlement.
Stephanie replied nothing, but only followed Celine.
When they entered the restarunt, they could see a lot of people and also some demons inside.
'Good thing, Tokyo Kingdom is full of demons.' Stephanie was glad that they didn't attract extra attention.
When they took free place, a cute waitress came to them. It was some woman with strange ears, they reminded elvish, but shorter, however they were a little longer than humans'.
"Good afternoon." she smiled to the women, "What would you like to order?" she gave them menus and started to wait.
"You promised to eat too." Stephanie looked at Celine, who only nodded in agreement.
"Steak… spaghetti…"Celine replied.
"I'll have salad and for dessert some vanilla ice cream." Stephanie said, "And tea for both."
"One moment." the female half human took their menus and went somewhere to the side of the kitchen.
"By the way, when we start to practice with bones?" Stephanie suddenly asked Celine, "You told I can use them too."
"Yes… later… must know concept of ice… first…" Celine answered, "Can shoot icicles… must understand… ice crafting…"
"You'll really teach me how to create animals and weapons?" Stephanie was happy to hear she will become a really good ice user, "Well, maybe I must give myself some nickname?"
"Nickname?" Celine didn't understand.
"I mean something what would describe me well. Do you have something like that?" the woman was watching at Celine.
"Celine of eternal ice…" Celine exhaled cold steam.
"Maybe something with ice will be fine too?" Stephanie pondered.
The orders were brought pretty fast, and the woman started to eat her food, while Celine was meddling. Celine touched to her mouth and the piece of armor that closed it disappeared. The armored woman took her fork and started to eat.
"Can you show me how do you look like?" Stephanie was interested in the woman's appearance, "I could only see your mouth and hand, but nothing else."
"Not… now." Celine replied.
"I know, I mean in the future." the straw haired woman corrected herself.
"Will do… that." Celine nodded, "Someday…"
They were eating in silence. Stephanie tried to understand what kind of person was Celine in eating. The woman ate like an ordinary person, carefully and didn't miss anything. Her armor didn't restrict her arms. And Stephanie concluded that Celine was really careful person in everything.
'Stephanie of eternal ice.' she pondered, 'No, I must think something personal. That will make me unique too.'
They finished with their food, and the woman returned to them in order to take payment and tips. Celine watched at her and whispered.
"Obey…"
The woman flinched and returned to the place where she came from. Celine exhaled a cold steam and both of women disappeared, and appeared back on the same roof top.
"Was it hypnosis?" Stephanie looked at her savior with pondered expression.
"No… was a half elf… easy taking control…" Stephanie heard an answer, "Now… practice with daggers… try… create one…" Celine asked the woman and Stephanie started to created something that would remind a dagger.
The class started to return to the classroom. Pavel, Ren, Masami and the rest took their places and started to wait for Oleg Semenovich as his lesson was the next one for them. However when the bell rang there still was no teacher.
"This strange." Pavel started to worry, "It's not like him to be late for lessons."
"Maybe he is on a meeting?" Maki asked the Russian boy.
"Probably." Pavel nodded, but then everyone saw how the door of the classroom was opened.
There was Sakura instead of Oleg, she seemed in a hurry as if something happened.
"Pavel!" Sakura looked at the Russian, "Oleg doesn't feel well, so he asked you to change this lesson."
"What?!" Pavel seemed didn't understand what Sakura said.
"He told all papers are in the desk, so you'll be able to do that easily." Sakura ignored him, "We're counting on you!" she left the class then.
"What was that?" Ren was slightly surprised of behavior of younger Igawa.
"Is he sick or something like that?" Aki was puzzled too.
Pavel sighed heavily likewise he knew there was no other option. He only got up and went to the desk. Everyone watched at him with surprise and puzzlement.
"Will you really do that?" Maki asked Pave, "Maybe we'll just sit and have a chat?"
"Knowing him he definitely will ask this theme." Pave replied when he came to the desk, he opened it and looked inside, "I think there they are." he put the papers onto the table and saw the theme, "Dead types?"
Ren, Maki and Aki heard that and frowned as they remembered the fight with a zombie and a skeleton. Pavel quickly glanced through the paper and then calculated something.
'So, if I remember it right. I have already done this. Yes, it was in our books in Russia.' he nodded, "Well, today the lesson will be about dead types." someone started to discuss something, "Guys, I know I'm not a teacher, but please pay attention to that, or you'll have problems on the examination."
"Guys!" Ren raised her voice, "Show some respect, or I'll report to Yatsu-sensei."
"What?" almost everyone were shocked that Ren decided to play dirty.
"I'll join here." Aki nodded in protection of Ren and Pavel.
"Me too." Masami joined them.
"Well, thanks." Pavel nodded to the boy and the girls, how successfully gave him an opportunity to continue, "Well, what dead creatures do you know?" Pavel tried to imitate to Oleg's style, but still it didn't suit him at all, he suddenly saw Maki's hand, "Yes? Maki." the boy was glad that his friends help to him during this unexpected situation.
"Skeletons and zombies." Maki replied enthusiastically.
"Good, someone else knows the other types?" Pavel nodded.
"Ghouls?" Ren raised her hand this time.
"Correct." Pavel started to became a little energetic as his friends joined to the lesson he was doing, "Maybe someone knows someone or something else?" he glanced over the class as if he wanted to find someone else who would join the lesson.
"Maybe lich?" some girl raised her hand, Pavel was surprised, but then he became happy that another girl joined the lesson.
"Yes, any other ideas?" Pavel nodded energetically.
"Dullahan." Another male voice replied him.
"Correct. They're the common types of monsters we can meet during our work." Pavel stopped questioning and continued lecture from time to time watching at the papers, "But still how do you think can they be called demons? How do you think?"
"I think no." Ren said.
"But maybe they're some sort of demons?" Maki disagreed with her friend.
"Well, and yes and no." Pavel answered, "Depends on which thing will be resurrected." he tried to explain glancing at the paper, "If a necromancer resurrects a demon it's a demon, if a human then it's a human. But the strength of resurrection depends on the power of the necromancer."
"What do you mean?" Aki asked Pavel.
"Well." Pavel pondered trying to find needed words, "If someone has a lot of powers then he can resurrect a really strong creature, while the one who has lack in powers, won't be able to do that."
'So, that means those were created by a really strong necromancer.' Ren pondered of the two enemies and at the same time about Midori Akiyama, 'That man is really a strong enemy.'
"The problem is it differ lich of a skeleton and zombie." Pavel turned the paper and returned his eyes to the class, "Lich can be a skeleton or a zombie, but it's a really strong corpse that must be created with lot of energy, only few can do that. The one you know like the Corpse King." Pavel did a pause, but then continued, "And also Dullahan is the last type of dead demons which splits on two categories. The first one is that a demon kind, and the other one is that necromancers can craft."
"What do you mean by 'craft'?" Maki asked the boy.
"Well, do you remember golems?" Maki and some of other students nodded, "Usually golems are simple minded and the one that demons create with their magic are only do simple tasks, for example to brin or fight something or to protect the creator."
"But, what about Dullahan." Masami asked him.
"They understand what is happening around them, their thinking ability is equaled to an ordinary humans' and at the same time their power is really trembling." Pavel looked at the ceiling, 'Oh, yes.' he thought as if he remembered something, "Such Dullahan is created of souls, it can be demon or human ones, but as much of them you put into it the stronger thing will appear."
Suddenly the door was opened and they saw Yatsu Murasaki in the door way, everyone quickly got up in order to greet the woman.
"Sorry, is Oleg-sensei here?" Murasaki looked around not seeing the man she needed.
"No, he is sick." Pavel replied, "Sa… Igawa-sensei came and told that." he explained.
"I see." Murasaki nodded, by her expression it slightly noticeable she was impressed that Pavel was giving a lesson himself, "I won't interrupt you, thanks for the information." Murasaki replied and closed the door.
"Man, I thought she we'll lecture me again." Maki flinched as if the storm had just avoided her.
"Well." Pavel coughed at his fist, "I'll continue." Pavel watched at the clocks and saw that there still were plenty of time and he could give the class an opportunity to give a quick revision of past material.
Sakura was running fast by the corridors of the academy. Her way wasn't long and in the end she came to sick-room. She opened the door of it and entered. There was no one in the office right now, but still she came the bed bunk that was in the right corner.
"I told Pavel to do the lesson." Sakura said as she came to the bunk and sat next to it.
"Yeah, thanks." Oleg mumbled.
The man was lying on it and was holding his hand on his stomach, as if it was in pain. His face was tense and his expression was sick.
"Sorry, for that lunch." Sakura looked at him.
"Nothing to worry about." Oleg tried not to touch the theme of cooking.
"By the way, did you lie that they were eatable?" Sakura looked at him, "Why did you force yourself if they were that bad?"
"You were doing your best to cook them, so everything I should do was eat the lunch." Oleg said to her.
"I told you it was the first try to cook something." Sakura said him, "There was no need to play the hero." she looked at him, 'I say that, but I'm glad he ate everything.' Sakura was still happy Oleg wasn't saying her that her food was disgusting.
"Well, I just need to rest and then I'll be able to do the rest lessons. I hope Pavel will do everything well." the man mumbled, "Knowing him I don't think everything will be fine."
"He is a diligent boy, no doubt he will do the work right." Sakura chuckled, "And you papers will help him."
"Good think I've prepared them." he was watching at the ceiling, "And what about you? Shouldn't you go and prepare for your lessons?"
"I have only practice today. So everything is fine." Sakura answered him, "More important is for you to feel better."
"The nurse gave some medicine so I think it'll help sooner or later." Oleg tried to listen to his stomach, but could say was it better or not.
"If you feel bad lie for another lesson too." Sakura told him likewise she could predict what he as thinking about.
The talk was stopped Sakura didn't know what to say to Oleg, and the man also didn't know how to continue their talk. He didn't want to speak about the food of younger Igawa, but it was difficult for him not to do that. Suddenly the door of the sick-room was opened and the two saw Yatsu-Murasaki in her casual white robe.
"Mu-chan?" Sakura was surprised to see the blue haired woman, "What brought you here? Are you sick?" Sakura chuckled at the last question.
"I came for Oleg-sensei." Murasaki's eyes looked at the bunk and she saw the man on it, "And it seems Pavel didn't lie." Murasaki nodded when the words were proved, "What happened?"
"Well, it's just some of my mistake." Sakura smiled nervously.
"Nothing to worry about." Oleg could get up and sat onto the bunk, he looked at Murasaki and continued not wanting Sakura to be lectured, "Next lessons I'll do myself. What is it?"
"I see." Murasaki nodded at his reply, "Shiranui called you, she wanted to discuss something with you."
"I see. I'll visit her if she isn't busy." Oleg jumped of the bunk and went to the door of the sick room, he left the room leaving two woman together.
"I hope you didn't do anything to him." Murasaki glanced at Sakura with demanding glance as if she was eager to know what happened to the man.
"Everything is fine now." Sakura chuckled and got up too, "I'll go and prepare for my lessons."
Murasaki looked at Sakura with puzzlement, but still followed the orange haired woman.
Oleg hurried to Shiranui's office, as the lesson Pavel was substituting was about to finish and he didn't want to bother Pavel anymore. Oleg tried to remember where Shiranui was and remembered that her office was on the other side of the academy.
'Why she isn't next to Asagi.' Oleg frowned, 'It'd be much better to go to then at the same time, when it's needed.'
In the end Oleg reached the needed office and knocked at the door slightly opening the door.
"Come in!" he heard a reply.
Now, he opened it and entered the office decisively.
"Have you called me?" Oleg asked the brown haired woman at the desk.
"Yes, thank you for coming." Shiranui nodded, "I wanted to talk to you about something." Shiranui gave him a sign to enter and to have a sit.
"What is it? Does something bother you?" Oleg asked her.
"No, not at all." Shiranui shook with her head, "Maria said everything is fine." Oleg nodded and Shiranui continued, "I want to talk to you about these disappearances."
"What's with them?" Oleg raised his eyebrow.
"Well, I wanted to ask you about something. I know it can sound not good at all, but still as a plan not bad." Shiranui wasn't sure the man would agree and tried to beat around the bush.
"I'll try my best if it will help to prevent these kidnappings." Oleg said firmly, "So, what's the plan?" the man finally sat.
"As I understand you can connect with the guys who helped to save me, 'Red Division'. If they agree I'd like them to help us." Shiranui gave her idea.
"Is it your idea only? Or Asagi said something like that?" Oleg narrowed his eyes.
"It's mine." Shiranui quickly replied, "As I could get, Asagi don't like these guys, but still tries to tolerate them."
"Well, do you remember them by yourself?" Oleg asked the woman, "As I've heard a little you also should fight the man that delivered us to our location."
"It seems I'm starting to remember something." Shiranui pondered, her face even became gloomy "But…" she stumbled then, "There also was someone else. I fought along with Asagi and Kuro, but he wasn't alone, but he had help. He had strange clothes and appearance as if he was a demon."
"Honestly, I can try to contact to them, but I must give a proper reason to join us in that." Oleg stated, he put his hand onto his stomach, but still remained fine, "If only try to blame 'The Third Law'."
"It also can be NOMAD, but with that new organization, I don't think it'll be them." Shiranui tensed, "So many candidates and no clues on, who it could be."
"If you want we can talk to that man right now." Oleg took out his phone, "Or it would be better to do the other time?"
"Let's try." Shiranui nodded in agreement.
Oleg pressed several time against the screen, and then got up. He put the device onto the table of the woman and turned a loud speaker. The calling started, but the phone wasn't answered so Oleg tried again.
'Yes! What is it teacher?' they heard the answer in the phone, however Shiranui didn't understand anything as it was said in foreign language to her.
"Cyclopes, I needed to talk to you, but switch to Japanese, I'm not alone." Oleg replied the man in Russian too
'Who is with you?' Cyclopes didn't like the teacher's words.
"Shiranui." Oleg answered, "We want to discuss something, "Asagi isn't with us."
'And do you want me to belive to you?' Cyclopes' voice was distrustful, 'I'm not there and don't see her.'
"It's true, the talk is only between us two and you." Shiranui understood they were talking about Asagi, so she tried to convince the man on the other side too, "I give you my word Asagi's isn't here." however she said in Japanese.
'Fine, what is it?' it seemed like her words worked on him.
"Have you heard anything about recent disappearances?" Oleg asked the man on the other side.
'No, what are you talking about?'
"The disappearances that happened are about former Taimanin," Shiranui started to explain, "We want have no clues, but…" she wasn't able to finish as the man interrupted her.
'I think it's only your work.' Commander answered, 'I don't want to enter your Taimanin missions. We have direct orders and even if I wanted to help you, I wouldn't be able to do that.'
"We suspect 'The Third Law' in that." Oleg answered for Shiranui, "Of course it could be NOMAD too, but we suspect our bastards."
'Have you any evidence of their involvement?' Cyclopes asked the man seriously.
"We don't, but Taimanin have just started to investigate it. I know it's rude to ask you about helping, but maybe you'd try to do something? If it's really 'The Third Law', then it would be better to strike them from both sides."
'And if it's not them?' Cyclopes asked him, 'We will lose our time pointlessly.'
"You can' be sure in that." Shiranui chuckled, "There's always fifty percent situation, it's much better to start investigating it rather than blame yourself later you wouldn't join it in time." Oleg was surprised to Shiranui's words, "Maybe there something you want in exchange for my saving?"
Cyclopes didn't reply, but the call was still active.
"Listen, if it's really these bastards we must be sure and maybe we'll find a way to get them until there's no other seal." Oleg joined too, "What will you say?"
'I don't promise, but I'll think of something.' Commander suddenly answered, 'I can't send a lot of men right now, but probably I'll find a way to join it.' Shiranui and Oleg were happy they could convince the man, 'But I need all information you have on these kidnappings, location, identities, your ideas, everything.'
"Yes, I'll give everything to Oleg." Shiranui said and quickly turned off the phone, she also quickly hid it in her table.
"What?" Oleg was surprised, but in next moment they heard a knock at the door.
"Yes, come in." Shiranui replied and in next moment she saw Asagi, who entered the room, "Asagi, what is it?" Shiranui asked her.
"Oleg?" Asagi seemed a little surprised, "I thought you have a lesson."
"Well, the plans were changed a little." Oleg answered, he sat again as he felt not well, 'I didn't heard her at all.' Oleg glanced at Shiranui, 'What a reaction.'
"It's much better you're here too, after all the biggest part of the Task Force is in your class." Asagi looked at how he had a hand on his stomach, 'Could it mean he had already got her food?' Asagi thought with a slight smile, "I wanted to ask you to be in charge of the training of the students that take part in fights with 'The Third Law'." Asagi quickly announced her thought.
"I don't mind at all." Shiranui said, "It's much better to prepare them in advance before they face the enemy."
"Yes, I also ask to do Sakura and Murasaki about that, they will change you when you can." Asagi continued.
"I see." the brown haired woman nodded, "How should I do training? By classes or in special groups?"
"Well, I thought to make two groups, in each one there two shooters." Asagi sat next to Oleg, "Ilya and Yukikaze, they must be in different groups definitely."
"I think it's good to make groups in such way." Oleg joined their discussion, "Pavel with Ren and Tatsurou with Yukikaze. Aki and Maki along with Ilya and Rinko."
"I think to do the same." Asagi nodded, "They got used to fight with each other and it would be perfect to make their team work better."
"I understand." Shiranui answered, 'If you want I can make a first practice even today." she smiled, "Who knows what we'll face near time."
"If it's not difficult." Asagi nodded, likewise she still didn't want to make Shiranui to overwork.
"It's my job, don't think I'll be overtired." Shiranui chuckled.
"Then I'll go now." Asagi got up, "And one more thing. "If you didn't like the food, just say her straight, I don't want her to kill you." she smiled to Oleg.
"I'll take that in mind." Oleg frowned, 'Damn, she knows about that.'
Asagi left the room, and Shiranui returned the phone back to Oleg. The man thanked the woman and send a quick message to the other man they were talking with not long ago.
"Well, I'll go now then." the Russian teacher got up, "Let me know when you gather the information and I'll send it to him."
"Don't worry, I'll try to do everything quickly." Shiranui nodded to him, "It's a bad sign to keep waiting the one who agreed to help us."
Oleg only nodded and then left the office and headed to his further lesson.
"It's strange for you to call us in a day time. I hope there was no one after you." A man who was about forty five years old asked Hayasi.
"Don't worry, I know how to be unnoticeable." Hayasi replied, "More importantly is that you two weren't seen, Mr. Asano."
"I don't know, but I don't think I have tail in a day time." Asano answered to the man who was cooperating with 'The Third Law'.
"Mostly important, why have you called us?" the other man, who seemed much elder replied, he was about his fifty.
"Mr. Chiba, patience, I hope you told nothing about our work to Yamasaki." Hayasi said to the Chiba.
"Of course not." Asano answered, "After all she is from pro Taimanin party, she is loyal to our course, but it's better not to say her the whole story."
"Good. I wanted to ask you about your program." Hayasi suddenly changed the theme glancing the men, "Have you prepared something?"
"As if, it's easy to make something with him." Chiba glanced at Asano angrily, "Everything I make this one rejects."
"Because I'm afraid people won't like that." Asano replied not watching at the man, "What important is that Yamasaki is also don't like your ideas."
"You two always agree on each other ideas, because your programs are almost the same." Chiba burst.
"Please, enough." Hayasi tried to calm down the men, "I have a perfect idea, how you can come to some conclusion and make a proper program." Both man looked at Hayasi with puzzlement, "Soon, there will be meeting of dossocialists in Yugoslavia, I think it'd be a good opportunity for you to gain some experience and probably they will solve your dilemma on your program."
"The meeting?" Asano was interested, "Sound interesting."
"I don't think Yugoslavian will help us a lot." Chiba wasn't glad of the idea.
"You have already joined forces, there's not option to go back." Hayasi replied to the man, "There also will be parties of Germany, Spain and Poland, they will help with everything they have."
"And no Russian party?" Asano seemed puzzled, "I thought it's their idea."
"The reason not to go is only Russian's reason." Hayasi replied, "It would be much better, as you won't be suspected in working for Russia."
"Reasonable." Asano smiled, "Several parties have different points of views, so I think they'll give us a lot of new information."
"I don't know, I think it's pointless." Chiba still was not sure in that idea.
"If you don't want I can make a delegation with Yamasaki and we'll visit it, while you will hold everything here." Asano smiled.
"And get all glory?!" Chiba suddenly burst again.
"It's good for three of you to visit it." Hayasi replied, "You'll be able to show your well-coordinated moves, your active political position abroad, and at the same time you'll be able to find new friends who will help you your new political career."
"I'm in." Asano chuckled, he even clapped his laps "Always wanted to see Balkans. And the opportunity is really great."
"Fine." Chiba replied, "At least will see what programs they have there."
"Now, you must inform the people about your visit. That will help you to avoid extra suspect." the coworker of Wojciechowski was glad he could finally convenience the stubborn person.
"You mean to make some announcement?" Asano quickly understood the plan.
"Yes, if you do everything quietly people won't understand your goal, but you must inform that it's just some visit of politeness and taking their experience." Hayasi announced his thought.
"Well, I'll think of something." Asano answered, "And at the same time, Chiba is really good in these things, so he is to make a proper speech."
"Well, if everything is settled, I think we can go." Hayasi smiled, "I'm glad we could come to clear conclusion. For now our meeting will be stopped. Do the announcement and then go."
"You want to say you won't go with us?" Chiba looked at the man.
"No, I can't do that because I'm not in the party, and it'll be strange that I go with you." Hayasi explained as he got up, "I'll listen to your result when you return and then we'll continue thinking on your strategy." The man said good bye to the men and left them.
"Well, everything will be interesting soon." Asano chuckled.
The school day started to come to its end and the students started to leave their classroom for going to clubs or training facilities in order to fill their free time with some activity. The four friends wanted to go to their clubs, and after that Pavel planned to go o Inageya, however the plans were disturbed, because of brown haired woman with a ribbon in her hair that came to the class.
"Pavel and Ren." Shiranui glanced at the last students in the classroom, "Follow me, today you have a special training, Maki and Aki, you'll have it tomorrow."
The friends looked at each other and said good bye. Ren and Pavel quickly grabbed their bags and followed the woman.
"Asagi asked me to train the students in Task Force." Shiranui suddenly said, "We split you in two groups in order to make good teams of you."
"Sensei." Ren turned to Shiranui, "I also wanted to ask you about something."
"What is?" Ren heard a soft answer.
"Well, my power is water too and I'd like to know how to train it." Ren said with a slight shy.
"Understood, I'll give you some lessons if you want." Shiranui smiled, "But they won't be easy."
"It'd be much better." Ren smiled too.
Pavel was walking behind them not joining to their talk, as they discussed water powers and the boy felt himself an extra one in this conversation.
"Well, the most important thing is to train your power in the water in the beginning, since you can make water bullets you can use the water of your body." Shiranui said, "Now you must understand how to use water in creating weapons."
"Am I ready?" Ren looked at the woman with gleaming eyes.
"Yes, there nothing difficult, since your understand basis, you'll be able to know everything fast." Shiranui said with a smile.
"That's amazing." Ren was glad she was going to be taught by Mizuki Shiranui herself.
'How I'm glad for Ren.' Pavel smiled watching at her side, 'Now she'll be able to continue her training of her power, while I'll stay behind.' Pavel sighed.
Shiranui noticed that and asked him, "What is it?"
"No, nothing." Pavel quickly answered to the teacher.
"Really?" Shiranui asked him, narrowing her eyes, "Maybe there something you'd like to discuss?"
"No, everything is fine." Pavel shook with her head, Ren turned to him too, "I'm just glad that Ren will be taught by one of the strongest Taimanin. That will help her to join high league pretty fast."
"Do you really think I'll train alone?" Ren looked at him raising her eye brow, "You're in too, and rejections are not allowed."
"What?" Pavel was shocked of what he'd just heard, "But I will only extra and…"
"Nonsense." Ren interrupted him, "Your help is significant too. And at the same time, it's comfortable to train with someone else, who always cheer you up."
"I see." Pavel answered, "If you say so, I'm in." he smiled.
'My, my, they're so innocent in these things.' Shiranui chuckled in her head, 'It'll be interesting to see how they'll practice together.'
They changed their clothes and took their weapons and then they went to the training ground with was in the opened air in the middle of the academy, right now it was empty and they could use it. When trio came they saw their juniors and comrades Tatsurou and Yukikaze.
"Oh, yes, the training will be in teams. Maki and Aki will be in pair with Rinko and the second shooter from Russia."
"Ilya." Pavel corrected Shiranui.
"Yes, well for now we'll to a quick warm up." the woman started, "The four of you will fight me, the purpose is to make just a single scratch."
"Mum, I think with your experience it'll be impossible for us." Yukikaze said.
"The purpose of that is to see how you're ready to fight a strong opponent." Shiranui smiled, "You must do whatever you can and all tricks you can think of in order to do that."
"I think there's an opposite thing will be done from your side too." Pavel said, not liking her strange smile.
"Good notice. Yes, I'll do the same, the fight will be like a real one and you also must try to see the intentions of enemy to fight you." Shiranui explained her idea.
The students prepared their weapons and quickly dashed to the woman who merely dodged the attempt to attack her.
"My, my, I even haven't given you a command, such impatient." she chuckled exposing her spear, "But still, score for the idea."
Shiranui dashed to Tatsurou nd started to fight the boy, the boy wasn't bad at close combat, nevertheless it was difficult for him to fight Shiranui alone. Ren and Pavel didn't wait long and joined the purple haired boy. The battle stabilized for him, but not much, as Shiranui was only playing with them. For Shiranui, it wasn't difficult to fight for students, however when Yukikaze joined the fight with her lightings Shiranui became a little careful.
"Ren, use bullets, Tatsurou try to focus on wind attacks." Pavel said them rushed to the woman.
'Not a bad strategy.' Shiranui admitted.
Tatsurou nodded and did a swing creating wind blade. Shiranui jumped aside and created a water spear out of her head, she released it at Pavel, but Yukikaze quickly destroyed it with her lighting.
"Mom also can fight on far distance!" Yukikaze exclaimed, "I'll cover your side!"
"Got it." Pavel nodded and rushed to Shiranui again.
The battle continued and this time Yukikaze and Tatsurou were running from both sides of Pavel protecting him from water attack of Yukikaze's mother, Ren was waiting when they would come closer to her. And when Pavel was almost close to her, Ren hurried and did a high jump with her blade in readiness. However Shiranui did a water clone which quickly repelled the strike.
"I think for now we can give up." Yukikaze wasn't glad that there were to Shiranui.
"What a spirit, on the contrary, you must be encouraged and fight me much harder." Shiranui chuckled.
"I have a plan, but I don't know will it wor or not." Ren told to her team mates, "Tatsurou continue with wind attacks, Yukikaze focus on the same, Pavel you're with me."
Tatsurou nodded and spun creating two wind blades which were aimed at both women.
Yukikaze increased the power of her attacks and now the lightning bolts were stronger. Pavel and Ren used this moment and tried to make a sortie, to one of the women, and started to attack her. From time to time Ren used her water bullets, but Shiranui on the other hand used her water powers too. He spears and blades destroyed the bullets easily. Pavel found a moment and dashed to the woman, crossing his sword with Shiranui's spear.
"Not bad at all." Shiranui praised the students, "Your team work is really interesting and well-coordinated. Just some practice and you'll fight perfectly."
"Thanks." Pavel chuckled and pushed the woman.
Ren didn't wait long and tried to cut woman's shoulder, but Shiranui only kicked Ren at her stomach.
"Damn!" she spitted.
"Pavel, I'll help you." Tatsurou tried to use his wind attacks in order to help.
Ren go up and joined Yukikaze, who was running away from another Shiranui.
"Crap, we can do nothing." Yukikaze didn't like the results of their practice.
"Young lady watch your mouth." Shiranui lectured Yukikaze fighting Pavel and Tatsurou, "Even if it's a battle mommy don't want to listen to bad words." when the woman kicked Tatsurou and Pavel the woman suddenly said, "Well, the warm up is done. Five minute break."
"That was really quite something." Pavel fell onto the ground, "Even Asagi fought with us not that tough."
"Have you practiced with Asagi?" Shiranui asked the boy.
"The two of us." Ren answered for Pavel.
"As I remember Asagi gives an opportunity to get used to her pace and methods of fight, I'm on the contrary always did hard with elder students." Shiranui took purchase onto her spear.
"Aunty is really tough opponent." Tatsurou tried to catch he breath, "If not 'Red Division', we wouldn't be able to recue you."
"Here you're right." Shiranui sadly smiled, remember that one of their members died saving her, but she decided to throw away bad thoughts turning to Ren, "By the way, have you tried to create something except bullets?"
"When I awoke me powers, I could make a wave, but it was in the sea and because of emotions." Ren answered, "I tried to repeat something like that, but I couldn't do that." she sighed.
"I see." Shiranui smiled, "Don't worry it's always difficult to work on powers in the beginning, but when you understand how to work with them, everything will be easy."
After the break the training continued, and this time Shiranui decided to change the system a little, she fought only with two opponents. Tatsurou was with Pavel and Ren was with Yukikaze, the groups were changed then and Yukikaze was with Pavel, while Tatsurou was with Ren. The students tried their best in order to fight the woman, but with her experience and skills it was impossible to fight her well, as Shiranui didn't plan to give them advantage.
Little by little the students started to get tired and their moves and attacks became easy for woman to parry and dodge, so she decided to stop.
"Well, for now it'll be enough." Shiranui said, "Tomorrow you have a beak as I'll do the same with the other team. Good work."
"Thank you for your training." Ren and Pavel thanked the woman.
"I hope you didn't forget we still have the work to do?" Shiranui looked at the boys and her daughter.
"Yes, I hope Oleg Semenovich and Hirata-sensei will join us." Pavel said with a smile making Tatsurou and Yukikaze to laugh, even Ren smiled at his words.
"Never thought we will watch after retired Taimanin." a woman with blue hair and in dark Taimanin uniform said to Kuro.
Her uniform head bare places which were shoulders and her whole back. She had four strange objects, which reminded spike wires on the back side of her neck.
"The enemy is unknown so we must at least understand, who is in charge of the attack." the bold man answered to the woman.
"I hope you want do anything reckless." she looked at Kuro, "Knowing you I'm sure you'll do something."
"Depends on situation." Kuro answered her with a slight smirk.
The night has come and the stars started to cover night sky, the two Taimanin were in small and dark alley. And were observing some shop, which was opposite to them.
"I hope she won't do anything what will expose us." the woman said not liking the situation.
"Don't worry, Rin." the man replied to the woman, "The other two will be defended by others, so we must try to get the ones who will attack ours."
Rin only sighed, but still continued to watch at the shop. The doors were opened and some woman went out of the shop. She was carrying bags in both hands, she was wearing pretty warm clothes and her hands were covered with gloves.
"She decided to go by the main street not a bad idea." Rin nodded.
"Did you hear that?" Kuro suddenly asked the woman
"What?" Rin tried to listen to something.
"Some strange noise." Kuro looked from one side to another.
"No, I didn't hear anything." the blue haired woman answered.
"Maybe it's my imagination…" the blind Taimanin mumbled.
The quickly ran into the deep of the alley and through several inner streets returned to the main street.
"Here she is." Rin nodded as she saw the one they were observing, "Now she will turn to the alley as he home on the other side."
"Again, it's somewhere above us." Kuro said, raising his head.
"Attackers?" Rin tensed and looked at Kuro, "Are already here?"
"I don't know, but we must be careful as the enemy is still unknown." the man said seriously.
They quickly jumped onto the building and followed to another alley in order to head after the one they're in charge of. When they were jumping Rin looked around, but still found nothing, nevertheless Kuro felt uneasy, because of the noise that was following them.
'It's coming closer.' Kuro mumbled, "What?" he suddenly stopped, "From the other side too?"
"Do you want to say it's a group?" Rin asked him with worried voice.
The woman quickly put her hands onto the wires and ripped them off making swords out of them.
"I don't know but the noise doesn't belong to human." the man said, "Follow her, I'll watch hear."
"Are you nuts? What if there are much more of them?" Rin didn't like the idea.
"Go I was in worse situations." Kuro answered her.
"We'll help you." Rin answered him and quickly followed the woman.
When Rin ran on a good distance Kuro frowned, suddenly he had a call in his communicator.
'We're attacked! Come to us.' Rin's voice said from his communicator.
"On my way." Kuro wanted to head to Rin and their object when something flew at him and he quickly jumped, "I'm attacked too!" Kuro said into his communicator, "Some flying thing I don't know what is it."
'The same with us.' Rin answered him, 'We'll try to come to you don't go.'
"Damn what an annoying bastard." Kuro mumbled, trying to find a good moment to attack. The attacker was pretty fast and could avoid all Kuro's attempts to strike it.
The man wanted to use his grenades which were on his vest, but couldn't, as it could attract unneeded attention of ordinary people.
'Where the hell is she?' Kuro thought, but then heard another noise, 'It's absolutely another…' he did a quick jumped and felt how something flew almost next to him, "This thing is really unexpected, but I was born not yesterday." Kuro tried to jump and hit the thing, but then quickly fell onto the ground as a strong sound was heard by him, "What the…?" he heard something that reminded some buzzing, "The hell is that." the man tried to cover his ear with his hands in order to make the noise calmer.
"Stay away from him." Rin released lighting out of her sword, but the object quickly flew away, "What is that, I can't see it properly." she wanted to attack he thing, but she was pushed back because of something, "Damn!" she only exclaimed.
"This scum can influence to sound." Kuro shouted still covering his ears, even when the sound stopped.
"I understood." Rin mumbled, 'Sound explosion then...' she tried to find the enemy, but there was nothing at all, "Shit! It must be after her." Rin looked at Kuro who barely could get up, because of the sound explosion, "I can't let you stay here alone, what if it'll take you."
"This bastard knows how to strike!" Kuro spitted still shouting.
"Darn." she helped the man to get up, she followed the way she came from, but saw no one in the farther part of the alley, "It seems they have took her!"
"Did think we'll fail that fast!" Kuro spitted, "I barely could do anything against it!"
"Don't shout, I can hear you." Rin said to the man.
"I hear badly now!" Kuro continued in the same way, "Don't know has there left something, but in our condition we'll find nothing, so it's better to return and send another squad for investigation!"
"Let's return back." Rin sighed.
She was helping Kuro to go, as the coordination of the man was disturbed.
"At least we know a little about it!" Kuro said again, "It uses sound as a weapon!"
"But the question is, 'how'." Rin answered him, with ponder, "Is it some device or it's his power."
"And some other creatures too!" Kuro added, "Since we were both attacked!"
"Calm down for now." Rin tried to calculate what happened to them just right now, 'The enemy is really strong, but I'm surprised it didn't follow us. Was it scared of my lighting or what? If there was only just one answer to my questions.' Rin sighed.
They could jumped to the roof top of some building and started to wait for the vehicle that was about to take them back to Gosha.
