Chapter 4
"Mystic, we have to talk." Naomi came to the man that was watching at the night sky in the window.
"What is it, Naomi?" Mystic turned to the woman, "I hope you didn't have quarrels with Etienne again."
"No." Naomi answered him, "I want to discuss something." she came closer and looked at the window too, "Miyata could know something interesting. Former Taimanin started to disappear, according to his information they're kidnapped, but who is standing behind it is unknown."
"Do you think it's us, who are in charge of it?" Mystic asked the woman.
"I don't know, but knowing who is with you, I'm not surprised if it could be you." Naomi answered him with a serious voice.
Mystic chuckled, "And what if it were us?" Mystic asked her, "What would you do?"
"If you say so, I don't think it's you." Naomi answered him, "My idea is in cooperating with the ones who capture them."
"Probably it could be NOMAD." Mystic looked at the window, "As I know they have some bad relations with Taimanin too, so taking retired ones is a good opportunity to raise numbers."
"I don't know NOMAD or not, I'm just telling you my idea." Naomi wanted turn and wanted to go away.
"Wait." Mystic said her, "I don't think Black will cooperate with Walter, according to our last meeting Black was told to sit tightly, and not to interfere." Mystic answered, "However his minions tried to oppose us two times." the man pondered.
"And if it's someone else, then we could try to make a good ally of them." Naomi turned back to the man, "What will you say? Let's work together and find these guys? Just the two of us?"
"Well, not a bad idea." Mystic answered her with a chuckle, "It was really long since we had missions together. However, we'll take someone with us." Naomi frowned, "Don't worry, we'll work alone of them. I'm talking about Tardis and Tiradex, these two are really good in exploring, so I think we must take them."
"Only them?" Naomi raised her eyebrow.
"I also think about Azumi and Torch." Mystic replied to her, "Maybe their help will be significant too."
"Why not to take Przemislav or Archon?" Naomi wondered, "They're much more skillful then those two."
"Przemislav has his own work with Izumi." Mystic jumped off from the windowsill, "They're working with some politician, and Archon is busy with Malek and Alid on some other work, so Torch and Azumi is the only choice I have."
"And what about Walter and that armored guy?" Naomi asked him, "I think they want to have an opportunity to meet the one who is capturing Taimanin."
"I don't know what Celine is doing now." Mystic answered, "She is doing what Walter tells her usually, as in most times she don't take part in our missions, and Walter has some other stuff to do." he came to the woman, "But this news is really interesting. How many of them were captured?"
"Two of them, I don't know maybe more, Miyata brought information about two." Naomi answered.
"They know how to work well." Mystic pondered, "Well, let's have a try in looking for these interesting probably allies." Naomi nodded and she wanted to say something, but Mystic continued, 'I think we'll do it tonight."
The morning came pretty fast everyone started to get up. Oleg got up earlier than usually, he came to the desk that was in his and Pavel's room. He took out a battered notebook out of it and opened it in the middle.
'I still can't belive he could do all that alone working for these bastards.' Oleg was watching at the wrote latter in Latin, however some of them were really peculiar as they had some strange signs under and above, 'And these channels, I still can't understand their work.' Oleg turned a paper, 'If only he would right anything about them.' Oleg turned to the last page of the notebook, 'Mind channels?' he read a two words which were inner side of the cover, 'The channels that affect possibility to answer for mental empowering and using these powers.' the man did a quick translating from Polish into Russian, 'Their work is next, when the user does mental empowering, tried to empower also brain, which can be not suitable for such ability and it important for to clean the channels. It's unknown how many procedures you will need.' Oleg frowned.
"I don't know should I ask Maria about that or not." Oleg sighed out loud.
"Oleg Semenovich?" Pavel rubbed his eyes, "Aren't you sleeping?"
"Got up already?" Oleg looked at them boy and closed the notebook, "He returned it back into the desk, "Get up, or you'll be late for lessons."
"I have a lot of time." Pavel mumbled, but still removed the blanket, "And as I remember we have no your lesson today."
"By the way, I forgot to ask you." Oleg chuckled, "How everything passed?"
"Pretty well." Pavel answered, "The class didn't want to listen to me I the beginning, but Ren, Masami, Aki and Maki helped me to do it." Pavel yawned.
"I see." the man nodded, "Sorry for making you teacher anyway."
"What happened? You never do such thing." Pavel looked at his teacher with wondered eyes.
"Just ate something bad." Oleg flinched.
"Something bad?" Pavel didn't understand his words.
Oleg got up and headed to the door, "If you want go and have a shower, I've already used it."
"Got it." Pavel nodded and headed to have a cold shower.
The boy entered the shower and saw Ilya in a towel, who was leaving the shower, covered his almost whole body with a towel. Pavel looked at the boy that looked like a girl.
"Hey, don't stare at me pervert." Ilya put on a semblance he was shy.
"And what am I to see there?" Pavel asked the boy, "Both of us know it want grow."
"Man, you're not funny." Ilya sighed, "At least you should turn away with blushed face and ask for forgiveness."
"It's not an anime." Pavel answered the boy, "And you're not a girl."
Ilya exposed his tongue and went back to his room, while Pavel took a shower. After the shower he had his breakfast and then headed to the academy along with the other boy and two teachers.
"I still can't get used to going to academy all together." Pavel said, covering his neck with a scarf.
"Me too." Ilya replied, "By the way, Maria Sergeievna is your lesson outside today?" the boy looked at the woman, who was in a light, but still warm coat.
"No, it's inside." Maria only replied him watching at Oleg, 'Interesting, does he take that notebook, Yukikaze told me about.'
"Interesting, could they prevent the kidnappings." Pavel suddenly said, "Bad thing they not allow us to join to the investigation."
"It's only their work." Oleg replied, "I understand them, as there no evidences on 'The Third Law', if they find one, that will be our business too."
"But if we ask to take part in it, maybe they'll allow us to do that?" Pavel looked at the man.
"Probably, but only with other Taimanin near you." Oleg answered "As he must report about everything straight to Asagi."
"You mean they can think we can be interested in that too, and can keep silent about something?" Pavel asked the man, Oleg only nodded, "Nonsense! Even for three months, but we worked really hard in cooperating together."
"It's a political situation." Maria joined them going out of her ponders, "It's difficult to explain, but I understand her."
"I think we should offer our help one more time." Pavel only replied, "After all our squad is created to prevent these scums, and we're sitting not doing anything. It's not well."
"If it's needed, Asagi will ask us to help." Maria replied, "Until then have rest from tat mission." she looked at Oleg again remembering that he left them, 'What is that book anyway?'
They came to the academy and everyone headed to their directions, Pavel and Ilya headed to their classrooms and the teachers headed tot eh teacher's lunge, but suddenly Oleg's phone called.
"Yes, what is it?" Oleg said, "Yes, on my way."
"What is it?" Maria asked the man.
"Shiranui said to go to Asagi." Oleg only replied.
"Should I go?" Maria asked him again.
"I think yes." Oleg nodded, "Maybe it's because of these kidnappings?" Maria only nodded and both of them changed their route to Asagi's office.
They hurried and reached the office pretty fast. Near the office there was no one, so Oleg knocked at the door and looked inside the office.
"Yes, come in." Asagi told seeing Oleg's face.
The two entered Asagi's working place and saw some other people inside. There were Shiranui, Rin and Kuro. Oleg knew Kuro and gave him handshaking, while and nodded to Rin, as he didn't work with her yet and knew her only because of educational process.
"Have something happened?" he looked at the sitting bold man.
"Nothing good." Asagi only sighed, "Now you can start report."
"Well, we were attacked by something what moved really fast." Kuro started to explain what happened to them, "That thing I think is as fast as you Captain." he looked at Asagi, "And at the same time it uses some sound device or it has such powers, I still have buzzing in ears."
"Sound device?" Shiranui asked the man, "What do you mean?"
"Well, it attacked us with something that affect sound." Rin said, "It's the only thing we could understand, and our enemy also used some other small things, I still didn't understand what it was."
"And when we were looking after our target, I've heard some strange noise. It's like some buzzing too." Kuro added.
"Not a lot, but still something." Asagi sighed.
"However, we still know nothing about the enemy." Oleg pondered, "I think you have no time to check the place where you were."
"No, I barely could stand and thanks to Rin I could make it here." the blind Taimanin answered.
"Wait, did you say buzzing?" Oleg asked the man suddenly.
"Well, yes, I don't know how to explain it right but it was something like that." Kuro nodded not knowing what was in the head of the man.
"Asagi, can I explore the place where it happened?" the Russian looked at Asagi, "I have an idea what it can be, but I'm not sure."
"If you tell then you can go." Asagi looked at the man seriously.
"I don't want to be unfounded, so first I must check it." Oleg insisted, Asagi wanted to retort, but the man didn't gave her such an opportunity, "If you want you can send with me Shiranui, Murasaki or Sakura." the stated, "They will prove what I will find." he glanced at Shiranui.
'Not bad.' Shiranui chuckled in her head, "I don't mind." the woman looked at Asagi, "I think it's better to check everything to him if he knows what to look for. And at the same time, maybe will even bring some proofs."
Asagi was surprised that Shiranui decided to join Oleg's side.
"Fine, if you really say so, I think I will let you to do that." Asagi sighed, "But everything will be reported b Shiranui. And…" she pondered, "I think having Sakura near you won't be extra. She hasn't got much work this time and I 'll find who can change her."
"I'll do my best in finding clues." Oleg saluted to Asagi.
Asagi let go the Russian teachers along with Kuro and Rin, while Shiranui left in the office.
"Here." Asagi stretched the papers, "It's the direct information about the area and where they all were attacked."
"Well let's check it." Shiranui took the papers she found a map and started to examine it, "Well, it's a big place and it happened in different parts." the woman frowned, "However, I think it's possible to find something there."
"The last attack was in the Eastern part." Asagi said to Shiranui crossing her arms under her breast, "It's were Rin and Kuro also were attacked."
"Then we'll start with it." Shiranui answered, "Maybe it's much better to start it now? While we get there it'll be day time."
"Yes, go now." Asagi agreed with her d deputy, "I'll inform Sakura
"Oh, and who will change me with the other squad?" Shiranui remembered she had to train the second group today.
"Almost forgot about that." Asagi remembered Shiranui had such work today, "Fine I'll train them then." Asagi said.
"And maybe we'd make some challenge then?" Shiranui looked at Asagi standing not far from the door, "The first squad is with me and the second is with you. And some examination in the end. How about it?"
"Not a bad idea at all." Asagi smiled, "I'll think of it." then the brown haired woman left the office.
'Now I must inform Oleg.' Shiranui was holding papers that Asagi gave her.
When the woman with the ribbon left the headmistress's working place and headed to her office. However behind the corner she saw Oleg, who seemed waiting for something.
"Can you read minds?" Shiranui asked him with a chuckle.
"I do, but if I touch your hand." Oleg answered her, "I think she should give you the information on the attacks."
"Yes, here is also a map." Shiranui nodded, "I think we must send it to your friends." Shiranui lowered her voice.
"I'll do it in your office, I have only the second lesson today, so…" Oleg couldn't finish as Shiranui interrupted him.
"Asagi will cancel it. We'll depart right now, in order not to look for the clues in darkness." Shiranui answered, "And we'll work in official suit of the government."
"I see." Oleg nodded, "At least I'll have a day off from that punishment."
Shiranui only chuckled, "She also said Sakura will go with us. So it's the mission for three."
Oleg answered nothing continuing to follow the brown haired woman. They came to Shiranui's office and she put the map onto the table. Oleg did a quick photo and started to press his fingers by the screen of his phone and in some second he did a call and put his phone onto the table turning on its speaker.
'Yes?' they heard a voice in the phone.
"Cyclopes, I've send you a map where were the kidnappings, the last one was in the Easter part of the district." Oleg said watching the map.
'Wait a minute.' Commander of 'Red Division' answered him, 'Yes, I see.'
"We'll be there in a day time, be there and we'll check it together." the man said, "I think there must be something."
'Got it, we'll wait you there then.' Commander answered and then hung the phone.
"Good to hear they will help us." Shiranui looked at Oleg, "But I'm not sure about Sakura."
"Don't worry, I think she won't tell anything to Asagi." Oleg smiled slightly, "I'm sure in her."
Shiranui nodded and then both of them went to prepare for upcoming investigation.
Cyclopes pressed his finger against the screen of his phone and put it into his vest.
"At least I know where to start." the man got up from the sofa and rubbed his eye, "Maybe I'll find someone who can join me?" the man headed to the door of the room and left it.
The man with the eye patch walked along the corridor and then did a turn. He saw no one on his way and decided to go the dining room. When he reached it he saw almost no one there, but still his eyes stopped on one person with a great coat and a service cap.
"Drunkard, as I remember you have no missions, right now." the man with the eye patch came the other man.
"No, I'm free." Drunkard answered him, "What is it?"
"I have something to do." Cyclopes answered, "And I need your help."
"What is it?" Drunkard looked at the man putting his flask under his greatcoat.
"We have to investigate something." Cyclopes said, "There's some accident with some retired Taimanin."
"And what relation do we have with them?" the man asked the leader, "As I understand it's only their problem, I don't remember Taimanin paid us for that."
"The problem is that Teacher suspects the 'The Third Law' in that." Cyclopes added, "I don't really know could it be them, but still we must check everything directly and maybe we'll make a good ambush."
"Any clues on them?" Drunkard asked the man.
"No, that's what we're to find, if it's not them the work will be given to Taimanin." Cyclopes answered,, watching straight at the man with a service cap, "I think it's fair enough."
"Fine, I think I have no other choice to reject it." Drunkard sighed, "If Splash was here I think you'd take him."
The leader of the division frowned, "I would still take you. He wasn't good in investigation, while it's you occupation."
"Well, when we must go?" Drunkard asked him again.
"Today, in a day time we must be on this place." the leader took out his telephone and found needed picture, "Eastern part of the area." he pointed at the needed location.
"The circles are the places where they were kidnapped?" the man fixed his service cap, "Pretty big area and the attack are pretty far from each other."
"I have an idea, but I don't know can be true or not." Cyclopes mumbled, Drunkard only nodded giving a sign to continue, "I think someone could sell information on their location to NOMAD or other organization and now they started to attack them."
"Good idea." Drunkard answered, "And logical, so what will do there, if it's so?"
"I should repeat to who it could be sold?" Cyclopes frowned, he didn't like the answer of the man.
"And since when you like to work with Taimanin?" the man sighed, "Fine, I'll help you, but you'll owe me then."
"And what do you want?" Cyclopes looked puzzled at him.
"Don't worry, nothing special." Drunkard chuckled, "I'll tell you later." he took out his flask and chuckled, 'Maybe, this time the four of will be able to gather together.' he thought and did a sip from his flask.
The working day at academy was passing petty fast for the students, as the elder students had almost only practical lessons today. And after it the students had a big break.
"Wow, you're becoming better and better." Pavel tried to dodge Masami's lunges, "I think we can ask Maria Sergeievna to check you again soon."
"Do you really think so?" Masami asked the Russian boy.
"Yeah, you try really hard and that what I really like in you." Pavel smiled, avoiding her spear, "Honestly you now, and you not long ago, are absolutely different people."
"Thanks for praising." Masami thanked him.
Their training continued for some period of time and then the two of them decided to have their lunch.
"By the way, when your family wanted to come?" Masami asked the boy, "Maybe I should make something? Maybe to cook something for you in order to make it more realistic?"
"You shouldn't overdo that much." Pavel smiled, "I think they will be glad just seeing a girlfriend with me, so it will be enough I think, but these two…" Pavel frowned.
"You mean your friend and brother, don't you?" Masami asked him with a slightly concerned voice.
"Yeah, they will trick on even if I have girlfriend." Pavel mumbled and put some rice into his mouth.
"I think I'll play good." Masami said to him, "It's the least I can do for you for everything what you've done for me."
"Oh, they will come to Christmas I think, do we have holidays?" Pavel asked Masami.
"Of course, if you want we can go even to Tokyo." Masami gave him an idea.
"Not bad. At shopping they will forget about us and watch the city and lots of shops." Pavel was glad they could do something like that."
"And about our training." Masami suddenly disturbed the silence, "Maybe there other practices I can do?"
"Well I think about something." Pavel said, but not surely, "But I think it must be under someone's observation."
"For example?" Masami bowed her head interesting in the method.
"Well, we rarely tie your eyes and make scratches on you." Pavel replied, "It would be better to increase such thing, you must feel how blood pours by your body, like in a battle of course."
"I got it. Don't explain everything." Masami nodded, "Maybe we can do it right now? Our weapons are still here."
"I think it would be better to call nurse. I don't know what will happen if you see blood." Pavel disagreed with the girl.
"And how about to make scratches tying my eyes and after that you'll deliver me to the sick room?" Masami seemed wanted to try something new a lot.
"Well that can work." Pavel mumbled, "But…"
"I'm ready." Masami said, she even increased the pace of eating.
"Never seen someone wanting to be scratched." Pavel laughed.
When Masami finished with her lunch she continued, "I just want to help you all in your work. You all are always on missions and risking with your lives, while I'm sitting here doing nothing. I know my help can seem insignificant, but an extra help is still needed."
"You're wrong." Pavel said seriously, "You fight incredibly and when you're treated completely you'll be a really fearsome opponent." Masami blushed, "And I'm really happy I can take part in giving you such opportunity and have training with you by the way."
"Thanks, I'll continue in the same way." Masami nodded.
They finished their food and decided to talk a little more before the further practice.
"Listen, I wanted to ask you about something." Masami her voice was excited as if she didn't know to ask the question or not, "What do you feel towards Ren?"
"What?!" Pavel looked at Masami, "Why such questions?"
"If you don't want you can not to answer it." Masami didn't insist.
"No, that's not the thing, but…" Pavel shook with his head.
"What if I would confess to you would you really became my boyfriend?" Masami asked him seriously, "I know you told about our situation, but still if not that would you accept my feelings?" the girl tried to explain her question.
"I don't know." Pavel sighed, "I think you two are really good and reliable persons. And the one who will confess to you two will be really a lucky one."
"And don't you want to be that lucky one?" Masami continued to look at him.
Pavel answered nothing. This question made him a little upset as he didn't know how to answer it. The boy calculated everything, but the answer still was vague to him.
"Well, I think we must continue our training." Masami got up and stretched the boy her hands, "Let's leave that scratching for another time, and practice with weapons more."
"Okay." Pavel nodded, being happy Masami wasn't persistent.
However he wasn't as good as he was before as her words still caused his ponders. The boy was delaying and didn't do everything well, but after some minutes he could gather up his courage and continue the practice.
After a while they decided to end and go to their next lesson, which was another practice, but with Yatsu Murasaki.
"I hope Yatsu-sensei is in a good mood." Pavel did a breath, when they went outside the academy, "And she won't be too demanding."
"Sometime she can be something like that." Masami responded, "But still she is doing her best in order to prepare students for upcoming difficulties."
"You're right, but still the problem is in that she can be really harsh from time to time." Pavel chuckled.
They came to the training ground that was outside and saw how their classmates started to gather there. The two quickly found and joined Aki and Maki. Ren and Mai came a little later, but before Murasaki. The teacher came pretty fast too and everyone lined up and greeted the teacher in white uniform with an axe.
"Good afternoon class!" Murasaki greeted her former class, "Today we'll start with a quick practice fight one on one. And then we'll start the main practice." she glanced over the students and saw they were ready, "The first battle is between Tarasov and Sato." the woman announced the first battle.
The boy and the girl went out and looked at each other.
"I'll try to be easy on you." Maki chuckled.
"The same." Pavel also did the same.
The class jumped aside leaving the two fighters in the middle of the ground. Pavel exposed his sword and rushed to the girl, who repeated the boy's move. Pavel quickly dodged the lunge and tried to hit Maki with his sword, but the girl quickly protected herself with her glove.
"I belive in you Maki!" Aki cheered up his girlfriend.
Maki only encouraged and attacked the Russian boy again, she wanted to make a bad situation for the boy, but Pavel could avoid all her attempts on capturing him.
"You'll win Pavel!" Ren suddenly exclaimed.
"Do your best!" Masami also joined her.
Everyone was surprised the girls were also encouraging the boy. And some of them decided to cheer for Maki and someone for Pavel.
The boy didn't have special powers, but still he compensated it with his tactic.
'She is keening on her powers a lot.' Pavel thought,' I can try to use it.'
Pavel threw his sword into the air making Maki to surprise.
"What?" Maki seemed shocked.
Pavel ran to her and grabbed her arm, then he used all his power to overthrow the girl. Maki fell onto her back and then Pavel grabbed his sword and pointed with it at Maki's throat.
"It seems I won." Pavel smiled.
"It seems so." Maki accepted her lost, and accepted Pavel's hand.
"Sato!" Murasaki exclaimed, "You keen on your powers a lot, you must also fight not depending on Ito's ideas too!"
"Sorry." Maki bowed to the woman, and both of them went to the class.
"Well, next ones are Ikenami Ogawa!" Murasaki exclaimed again.
"This time I won't lose you." Ren smirked watching at Ren.
"It's interesting to see, what you can do with your water." Mai answered to the tanned girl.
The two of them went out into the middle of the ground and exposed their weapons. The new battle as energetic, Mai and Ren didn't want to lose to each other and tried their best in order to win.
"Come on Ren! You'll do it!" Pavel exclaimed, "You can't lose!"
"Ren go and get her!" Maki shouted strike the air.
"Mai, Ren do your best!" Aki tried to hold the golden middle.
Ren decided to attack quickly and to find a proper moment to use her water bullets. Mai could parry the strikes of the tanned girl, but sometimes she felt difficulties.
'Her predicting is really annoying.' Ren tried to guess when to use her bullets.
"It seems you're trying to find a proper moment to use your trick, doesn't it?" Mai asked Ren with a slight smile.
"You're guessing right." Ren smirked and pulled the fair haired girl out.
Suddenly Ren did a jump and released several water bullets. Mai could avoid them and then clashed her blade with Mai's katana. The fight seemed a little long than Pavel's one, but Ren decided to make a good trap for Mai. Another number of bullets were released and then Ren did a running board.
"And here." Ren pressed her short blade to Mai's neck, "I think this round is after me." Ren chuckled.
"It seems so." Main nodded, "My ability failed me a little."
Ren helped Mai to get up, "Next time it'll be the same." Ren looked at Mai.
"The future will answer that." Mai only replied and went to the classmates along with Ren.
"Well, next one is…" Murasaki suddenly stopped seeing a hand, "Yes, Andou. What is it?"
"I want to take part too." Masami suddenly said, her ask caused whispering among the students.
Her voice was firm and serious, what made students to talk more and more.
"Stop that!" Murasaki demanded to stop chatting, "Are you sure?" Murasaki turned to Masami, "What if something goes wrong?"
"I'll do my best not letting that to happen." Masami tried to insist.
Murasaki wanted to reject, but she wasn't ready that someone would join Masami's side.
"Sensei, I'll practice with her." Aki raised his hand, "I think my pace is really good for her."
"Are you sure in that?" Murasaki still tried to insist, but still and didn't persuade to join the practice, "Will you be able to bear the view of blood?"
"I'll do my best." Masami squeezed the hilt of her spear with a nod.
"Masami, do your best." Pavel tried to cheer her up.
"Yes, let's do our best." Aki did his try to encourage his classmate.
"She will definitely lose." some arrogant voice said.
"Does she want to prove something?" someone else asked the other students.
"Guys, did you forget she was practicing with Pavel, maybe she knew something?" some female said indecisively.
"Yeah, with wooden weapons." the first arrogant boy mumbled, "In her age to fight with a wooden sword is…"
"Enough or you'll run fifty circles around the academy!" Murasaki shouted at the talkers, who quickly shut their mouths, "Ready?" Murasaki asked rather the girl than both of them.
"Ready." Masami nodded and quickly blocked the boy's katana.
"Nice timing." Aki praised the girl, "I'll start with slow pace, it'll help you to get used to me."
"No need, I'll try to fight you like usually." Masami replied him, 'I think it'll be good to starch the time.' Masami thought, with the spear it'll be easier.'
Masami tried to avoid Aki's lunges and could do it well, she even clashed her spear with his katana. The girl was warmed up, because of training with Pavel.
"Wow, she became really well." some girl was surprised of Masami's skills.
"If I fought her, I'd kick her butt easily." the arrogant one smirked.
"Just shut up and don't interrupt her." Pavel replied to the arrogant boy.
"Or you want someone else to kick your ass?" Ren joined Pavel's side, even Maki put her hand onto his shoulder with a grin.
'Masami became really well.' Murasaki thought glancing at Pavel, 'I'm surprised he could change her that quickly.'
Masami tried her best, but since Aki didn't gave her an opportunity to have priority in the battle, Masami felt some difficulties. The girl pierced her spear into the ground, did a jump and kicked Aki and his stomach successfully.
"Damn!" Aki exclaimed landing onto his back.
Masami wanted to get Aki, but the boy quickly grabbed his katana and did a wide swing in order to protect himself. Masami jumped aside and felt how something dripped by her cheek.
"Damn! Not again!" Murasaki wanted to rush to Masami, but then stopped.
Masami covered her cheek with her hand and tried not to watch at the blood, she slightly trembled, but it wasn't like before, she neither screamed nor cried.
'I must hold it,' Masami thought opening one eye.
"Are you alright?" Aki asked her with a worried voice.
"Enough!" Murasaki declared, "It's a draw." then she came to Masami, "I think it'd be good for you to go to the nurse, she'll treat your scratch." Masami only nodded and walked to the side of the academy.
"Sensei! I'll help her." Pavel raised his hand, Murasaki only nodded and the two of them went together to the nurse.
Ren felt uneasy because of that, but still could remain calmness, 'At least there will be nothing with her.' she tried to convince herself there would be nothing between them.
Aki returned to his place and being wondered and thoughtful.
"What is it?" Maki asked him, "You're flying somewhere."
"Well, it's in the scratch." Aki replied in a minute, "She could block my attack, but she didn't do that.
"Did she give you to hurt her on purpose?" Ren was surprised.
"It seems so." Aki nodded unsurely, "I can't answer that."
"Wow, she wanted to cause bleeding. It's really strange." Maki was also pondered, "She is really strange sometimes."
"There's no need in taking me to the sick room." Masami said to Pavel holding her hand on her cheek.
"What if something happens?" Pavel asked her with concern, "I don't want that."
"You're too overprotective." the girl smiled, "But what if I say it happened not accidently?"
"What?" Pavel didn't understand her, "Wait, you did it on purpose?" Masami only nodded, "You wanted to me to do that, but you found an official opportunity to get it in training." Pavel smiled, "Well that really not bad."
"Now I can get used to this sense also walking." she said to him, "First I thought I'll scream again, but I could prevent it, and shut my eyes in time."
"It's really good nothing happened." Pavel sighed with a relief, "But you shouldn't do such reckless things." he lectured her then, "What if something bad would happen?"
"But it didn't happen." Masami answered him, 'Now, I'm closer to returning back. This time I really will do that!' she thought watching at the gray sky.
They reached the needed place, and the nurse quickly did everything what was demanded from her. And then they wanted dot return back to their lesson, when they saw Shiranui, Oleg and Sakura long with Yukikaze and two Akiyama siblings.
"Don't worry Yukikaze." Sakura chuckled, "This time your mum won't disappear as we'll watch after her." her voice was marry as always, "I and Oleg will kick others' butts easily."
"It's just a mere investigation in Tokyo, nothing more." Oleg added, "We'll just find clues and return back."
"Really?" Yukikaze tried to be calm, but she didn't want to let her mother go, who had almost just returned back.
"Oleg Semenovich, do you have a mission?" Pavel came to the teachers and the students.
"Yes, it's about these kidnappings." Oleg nodded, "We're to find some clues on what has happened there."
"I see." Pavel nodded.
"And as I remember you should be on a practice with Yatsu-sensei. What the two of you doing here?" Oleg looked straight at the boy.
"Masami got a scratch on the training and I joined her on a way to the sick room." the boy quickly explained the reason of his walking.
"A scratch?" Sakura looked at Masami who now had no wounds.
"Everything is fine." Masami replied to Sakura, "I got it on purpose." Oleg and Sakura were surprised of these words, also was Rinko, "I wanted to test something and everything was fine."
"Nice to hear that you're starting to feel better." Oleg looked at her, "Soon, Maria Sergeievna and Pavel will be able to treat you completely."
"I'm looking forward to it." Masami nodded.
"Well, we must return back to the lesson." Pavel said to the man, "I don't want to run over academy."
"Mu-chan can do that." Sakura chuckled, and saw how the girl and the boy ran with their weapons back to the lesson, "Nice to see how she is changing to good side." Sakura watched at Masami with a warm smile as if she was her mother or elder sister.
"So, I think it's time for us to go too." Oleg said, and headed to the doors that led out of the academy.
"Don't worry, Yukikaze this time Auntie will return." Rinko put her hand onto the shoulder of the short girl, "Oleg and Igawa-sensei will look after her."
"I think, it's mom who will look after them." Yukikaze chuckled, "They are just support to her."
"And you're right here." Shiranui smiled, "Even they need someone who'll save them from danger."
Sakura laughed at these words, while Oleg was concerned about their upcoming investigation.
"Well, go if you don't have lessons that don't mean you can do nothing." Shiranui smiled putting her hand onto the head of her daughter, "You must train hard in order to be as strong as mommy."
Then the women quickly followed Oleg. All the three were wearing official suits, likewise they were some agents. Oleg's consisted of a black jacket, a white shirt, and black pants with shoes of the same color, while the main difference of women was in their skirts.
"Tardis." Mystic turned to Pegasus, "I need to talk with you."
"What is Mystic? Is there another seal?" the demon asked the man in the cloak and the hood.
"No, but I want to investigate something, and I need your and Tiradex's help." Mystic didn't turn his head from the Pegasus, he noticed that the demon pondered, so he decided to explain, "Someone is capturing retired Taimanin. We must find those and try to understand are they suitable for turning them into our allies."
"Only coward will attack unarmed fighter." Pegasus replied, "But as I see I have no other option, maybe Lord Walter we'll be also interested in that."
"That's why I'm asking you to help." Mystic nodded, "They can become a perfect help in fighting Taimanin and 'Red Division'."
"Tiradex will be glad to have work, he was doing nothing for some time. It's becoming difficult to hold him." Tardis sighed, "And I grew tired of him speaking about that boy and the tanned girl."
"Those ones." Mystic pondered as if he remembered something, 'He is really an interesting one and the girl, she is also an interesting one.' then he turned to the demon again, "Tell him I don't know will there be some meet for him, but he isn't allowed to attack ordinary people."
"Does that mean we'll work at night?" Tardis asked the man again.

"No, still sleeping." Mystic answered, "Walter checked him before leaving and said he is fine, he is just gathering his powers. Right now Torch and Azumi look after him, but we'll take them for our mission too."
"I think Etienne will look after him." Tardis snorted, "And he'll inform Lord Walter about his state." Mystic only nodded.
"Nothing from Celine right now?" Mystic asked the demon.
"No, but she will help us when it's needed." Tardis answered the question, he was standing straight as if he was showing his state or loyalty, "I think it would be better to send Celine to check the city."
"I also think about that." Mystic nodded, "She and her guide will explore the city in a day time, while we check at night." he did a pause, "But will inform them later. For now prepare Tiradex, I'll tell when we depart." Tardis nodded and then left the mysterious man, 'Interesting, will Mizuki Shiranui join the upcoming fights? Since she is with them now, we'll have a lot of trouble with her, Asagi and Commander all together. Walter will have a lot of work.' Mystic chuckled and headed somewhere he only knew.
The studying finished pretty early for Pavel's class. The friends were glad that the day finished pretty fast for them.
"Guys, how about to go to Inageya?" Maki asked her friends, "I'd kill for something sweet."
"Why not." Aki looked at the girl, "I also would like to drink their juice. What about you Ren, are you in?"
"Well, I think to ask Mizuki-sensei to train me with water abilities." Ren said while she was packing her school stuff.
"She went on a mission with Oleg Semenovich and Sakura." Pavel came to his friends, "So I don't think you'll do this today."
"How did you know that?" Ren looked at him.
"When we were coming back from sick room we saw them." Pavel explained, "They're to investigate Tokyo for the clues on who is after these kidnappings."
"I see." Ren became a little upset, 'And I wanted to practice with her.'
"Well, you know…"Pavel mumbled attracting her attention, "I'm not the user of such power, but if you want I can make you a company." he tried not to become red.
Ren didn't wait such an offer and didn't know how to answer.
"If you want we can do that." Ren nodded.
"It seems we'll go to Inageya alone." Maki looked at Aki.
"It seems so." the couple headed to the doors of the classroom, when they opened them they saw Asagi herself.
"Sato, Ito." she turned to them, "Are you heading somewhere?"
"To Inageya." Maki quickly answered.
"Has something happened, sensei?" Aki was surprised the head mistress came to their class herself, Ren and Pavel also were surprised and didn't know was it good or not.
"Please, don't tell me I have problems with some subjects!" Maki exclaimed, "I closed all my debts in all subject!" Maki tried to persuade the woman everything was fine in her education process.
"I'm not here because of that." Asagi couldn't hold serious face and slightly smiled, "I need you both, follow me."
They looked at each other and with wide eyes followed the teacher.
The couple followed the woman still guessing what was on the mind of their headmistress. Pavel and Ren wanted to follow them, but still could hold of such an opportunity.
However the silence wasn't long as Asagi disturbed it, while they were walking by the corridors.
"Go and change your clothes into uniforms again and then go to the training facility. I'll go there too."
"To the training facility?" Maki and Aki reasked the woman.
"Yes, if you be there earlier wait for me." Asagi told them and then headed to the other direction.
"What does she need from us?" Maki looked at Aki.
"Probably, she wants to train us too." Aki suggested, "After all, we also must be strong if we encounter those criminals."
"Wow, to be train by Igawa-sensei herself, we're lucky!" Maki quickly forgot about sweets, she wanted to eat at the sweetshop.
They increased their pace and didn't want to make Asagi to wait for them and quickly rushed to the training facility. They changed their clothes and with their weapons rushed to the room which was the place of combats. When they came they also saw Rinko and Ilya.
"You are here too?" Maki was surprised that the other persons from Task Force were here too.
"If sensei called you, that means she will train us." Rinko was slightly puzzled too.
Maki looked at Ilya, "And your powers are…" she pondered watching at his guns.
"Light." the boy that was dressed like a girl answered, "And yours is super strength." Ilya tried to remember Maki.
"Correct." Maki nodded, "We have never worked together yet, it's a good opportunity to know each other well."
"Sure thing." Ilya smiled, "I'm counting on you."
"Nice to see that all of you could get used to each other that fast." they heard a female voice, they turned and saw Asagi in her purple battle uniform with a katana on her back.
"Sensei, will you really give us practice?" Aki still couldn't belive to what was happening.
"And what does it look like?" Asagi asked him, "Since today, I'll train you. But our training will be day after day, if something happens, I'll inform you."
She went to the middle of the room and looked at the students.
"Right now, I want to see what you can do all together. See me as an enemy and do whatever you want to get me." Asagi started explanation of the upcoming battle, "The point is not to wound me, but to check what you can do together, with 'The Third Law' teamwork is important as fighting alone against them will be a total suicide."
"We know it already." Maki answered, "These guys are really weird."
"That's why you must understand your strong and weak sides in order to help to each other in time." Asagi said and exposed her katana, "Now, if you want you can start."
The students that used melee weapons did the same, but still didn't dare to make first move. However Ilya quickly took out his guns and did a shot out of one of them.
'What?' his comrades were a little shocked o the speed of his shot.
Asagi could dodge the shot, 'My speed and his light, it'll be really interesting to see, how someone uses light for attack.' she thought watching at the boy, 'He is much faster with his attack then Yukikaze.'
Rinko and Aki didn't wait long and jumped to Asagi in order to do a double attack, but the woman dodged again. Ilya quickly did another shot and Asagi decided not to dodge, but to accept the battle and crossed her katana with Rinko's that appeared not far from her.
"Good timing." Asagi was glad Rinko could find a moment to strike.
Ilya jumped and did two shots again, Asagi pushed Rinko out and jumped aside. She wanted to get Ilya, but Aki helped the boy, protecting him with his katana. Maki also jumped and wanted to hit Asagi, but the woman gracefully dodged it, then she kicked Maki at her stomach.
"Maki, help me!" Rinko commanded, "Aki protect Ilya!"
"Got it." Aki prepared for worse, while Maki took a deep breath.
The attack repeated and Asagi only rushed to them with a smile. Rinko was taking all attention of the woman, Maki's help also was well-coordinated, but still it was possible to see that the head mistress was only playing them. Ilya waited and suddenly saw the moment.
"Jump aside!" the boy with guns shouted.
He shot at the ceiling with a light sphere and then shot it with another light shot creating two straight shots.
"Not bad." Asagi was surprised how the boy used his powers, 'He is more skillful than Yukikaze.'
Asagi decided to start fight a little seriously, and appeared not far from Ilya Rinko used her power in time, and protected him. Asagi understood they will protect only Ilya, so she decided to deal with Aki and Maki first. She appeared next to Aki and kick him with her kneel and then at his shoulder making him fall.
"Sensei, I'm not letting anyone to hit my boyfriend." Maki jumped aiming at the headmistress with her fist, however Maki only hit the floor making cracking.
Then Asagi kicked Maki at her back making her to join Maki. Rinko left only alone and she focused on protecting on the Russian boy.
"I have an idea, try to protect me." Ilya said to the girl, Rinko only nodded and then Ilya ran to the left.
The boy did a shot with two balls at the ceiling and then did other shots at them again. This time the spheres were a little bigger and there were four shots from each of them. Some rays were directed at Asagi and some of them on the place around her.
'This boy is really amazing.' Asagi thought heading to him, she appeared next to him, and Rink did the same.
Rinko tried to make a wide swing, but Asagi jumped and landed behind the boy and did a step making him fall. She kicked his guns in order to make him unarmed. Rinko tried to counter attack, but still it wasn't successful and Asagi could kick out the katana of the girl.
"Well, enough." Asagi declared, "Your skills aren't bad, you know how to work in team, however you must improve it."
"Fighting you sensei it's impossible." Maki complained.
"Even you can defeat me with a good strategy." Asagi answered to Maki, "And having such incredible shooter will be a good opportunity in that."
"You did really good trick." Aki agreed with the woman, "How could you strike like that?"
"Maria Sergeievna and my brother taught me." Ilya became upset of his words, "Both of us used them."
"Used them?" Rinko looked at him, and understood the reason of his upset mood, 'Does it he died?' she thought then.
"But my true potential is better to show during using mental connection." Ilya tried to snap out of bad thoughts.
"What do you mean?" Maki looked at him.
"Well, I can predict the places where my rays hit and the mental user can avoid or overrun them." Ilya became a little livelier, "It's our deadly combo with her."
"I see." Asagi nodded, "I think it's good opportunity to see, how light and mental power can work together." then she coughed at in her fist, "Well, now we'll have practice one on one, each of you will fight me, the point of it is to hold as long as you can."
"I think it's unfair." Ilya looked at Asagi, "You'll beat me quickly."
"You have guns, so you don't need to come closer to sensei." Rinko combed his hair.
"Let's start!" Asagi declared and the training continued.
The first one was Maki, who lost pretty quickly. Aki couldn't hold much longer than his girlfriend and shared the same time with her. Ilya was a little successful, but it was only because of his guns, and Asagi didn't spend too much time on him. However Rinko showed better result, while Aki and Maki could hold for forty seconds and Ilya could hold for a minute. Rinko could hold for a minute and a half as Asagi was serious this time. Then she decided to let them go, but still told that the must not forget today's practice and be ready for another round.
It was a day time, and three Taimanin were walking by the streets of Tokyo discussing something quietly.
"So this is the district where these attacks were." Oleg glanced over the street, "It's pretty crowded, difficult to find a good moment to attack not being seen."
"Yes, but because of small alley it's a good place for an ambush." Shiranui added, "The alleys have its system and it's possible to be unseen."
"And the way they were attacked is also strange, it's impossible that no one found anything." Sakura still could belive that everything was clear.
"That's what we must find out." Oleg mumbled, 'Interesting will my idea work…' he pondered.
They did several turns and suddenly heard a voice behind them.
"Just call him. I don't think you'll find them with that." the voice seemed calm, but at the same time slightly excited.
"They will be somewhere here." another sold and serious voice answered him, "It's the needed place."
Shiranui, Sakura and Oleg turned around and looked back and they saw two men in gray official suits, which were on some distance from them.
"And I wanted to call him." Oleg chuckled going to the men, "Nice to see you again, Cyclopes."
"The same." the man with the eye patch accepted his handshaking.
"And you're Drunkard." Oleg remembered the man that was a little shorter than Commander, who only nodded.
"How do you feel yourself, Shiranui?" Commander asked her.
"Much better since the last time you've seen me." Shiranui smiled, "Thank for concern by the way."
"Wait, since when we're working with 'Red Division'?" Sakura asked the man and turned to the brown haired woman, "Shiranui, did you know about that?"
"Yes, it was my idea." Shiranui nodded, "I hope you won't tell Asagi about our small partnership?"
"Of course, I won't." Sakura looked at Oleg, "I wouldn't do that."
"Nice to hear." Commander didn't let Oleg to say anything, "Where should we start searching?"
"In that alley." Sakura pointed, "According to Kuro and Rin's report they entered this place."
Drunkard went there first after him was Sakura and Oleg, while Shiranui and Commander were last ones.
"Well, Teacher and…" Drunkard looked at younger Igawa.
"Sakura." Sakura answered him.
"Yeah, Sakura check that side." the pointed at the left part of the alley, "And you two check the right side. I'll go and check everything ahead in the end of the alley."
"I hope you won't drink during work." Commander looked at his comrade.
"We're always on work." Drunkard parried and headed to straight the alley.
"I thought you're the leader." Shiranui looked at him.
"He is good in investigating, so I can tolerate everything what he tells if he brings usefulness." Commander answered and they started to look carefully every inch of the alley.
"I can't belive they didn't leave anything important." Sakura said after checking her part, "This mess is done by Kuro and Rin, but the bad guys left absolutely nothing."
"It's really strange." Shiranui also was surprised of carefulness of the enemy, "When I worked for Incubus King, I did everything undetectable, but even I could leave something behind."
"The same with me." Commander mumbled.
"Guys!" they heard a voice in the end of the alley, "Come here."
They all hurried to the other man, who was not far from the end of the battlefield.
"Is it a clue?" Drunkard pointed at the wall of a building, "It's some foot step, I think."
The hunters came closer and saw a strange footprint where were only two front fingers and one back, but the fingers were separated a little.
"If it's belongs to some creature, then what it could be?" Shiranui tried to think what it could be.
"A chicken?" Sakura asked the team.
"They have three front fingers." Oleg answered, "But a little similar." the man looked around again, his eyes suddenly stopped on something, "Wait a minute."
"What is it?" Sakura looked at him with worried eyes.
"Did you find something?" Commander looked at him too.
"I think, yes." Oleg squatted and watched at something, he took a metal wire from the ground and poked at the something that looked like a yellow jam or something like that.
"Man, are you serious?" Drunkard looked at such thing.
Oleg even tried to smell it, 'Flowers?' Oleg was puzzled; he wiped a little with his finger and had a try of it.
"Honey!" Oleg was wondered, nevertheless he spitted off the substance.
"Honey?" Commander reasked and Oleg only nodded.
"Maybe something broke the jar with it?" Sakura asked the Russian teacher.
"Where the shards then?" he looked at the woman with questioning eyes.
"The workers threw it away." Sakura offered an idea.
"Let me try." Drunkard tried too and spitted it off too "It's really honey, but with wax."
"Yes, and I didn't understand what was in it too." Oleg looked at the member of 'Red Division'.
"Does it mean, we're looking for some wasp or hornet?" Commander looked at the men, "As I understand ordinary one don't fly in late autumn."
"Demonic wasp, here?" Shiranui looked at one eyed man, "But I thought they rarely leave Demon World."
"They leave it, but if only someone controls them." Oleg got up, "On their own they will never do that."
"And to make it to Tokyo." Commander joined to his discussion, "Someone is really standing after it. However, I don't understand one thing, they're very primitive and they would definitely leave something after them."
"That's what I don't know." Oleg answered with a frown expression.
"So, what do we have now." Shiranui tried to conclude their known information, "The one who are in charge of the attack are some demon wasps, am I right?"
"It seems so." Drunkard looked at her.
"At least something." Sakura tried to be positive, "I think sis we'll like that. Did you think about them, by the way?" she looked at Oleg then.
"Yes, but I needed evidences of that." Oleg answered, "And now we know a little about all of these attacks."
"I have a plan, how we can find the scum, but we needed to discuss everything properly." Commander suddenly stated, "You'll be able to report everything to Igawa and at the same time we'll try to think a plan how to get these bastards."
Everyone nodded at such idea and let the place of the battle, but before it, Oleg picked some of substance into some packet he took out of his pocket.
