Preface
(skip this chapter, If you already know Winx Club. This fanfiction starts after season 4)
This fanfiction takes place after the fourth season of the TV series "Winx Club" and has no connection to the Netflix series "Fate - the Winx Saga"!
For those who are not familiar with the series yet, I will provide a brief overview of the characters.
(Edit: Okay, it's turned into a larger overview now since I will incorporate some of it into this story.)
The Characters
The main characters in this story are the six fairies Bloom, Stella, Flora, Tecna, Musa, and Aisha. Each fairy comes from a different planet in the magical dimension and has specific abilities. The six fairies have come together at the fairy school "Alfea" in the "Magix Dimension" and although they have different personalities, they are the best of friends.
Bloom
She is the fairy of the Dragon Flame, one of the strongest powers there is, as well as the princess of the planet Domino and the leader of the Winx. When she was still a baby, her home was attacked by the dark forces of the three ancient witches, the ancestors of the Trix. Her sister Daphne saved her by sending Bloom through a portal to Earth, where she was taken in by the couple Mike and Vanessa. Until one day she met Stella, who defended herself against a troll, she knew nothing about her magical abilities and her parents. She went to the fairy school, Alfea, with Stella and there she met her new friends, as well as her great love Sky, with whom she has experienced many adventures.
Stella
She is the fairy of the Sun and the Moon and the princess of the planet Solaria. Her parents are divorced, which still affects her today, even though she doesn't like to talk about it. Although she often seems conceited and prefers to indulge in her love of shopping, she always stands by her friends and also gives the best makeup tips! That status isn't everything to her is proven by her love for Brandon, a specialist who serves Prince Sky as a squire.
Flora
The fairy of Nature is a bit shyer than the rest and prefers to surround herself with her plants. She is a quiet, peace-loving soul and comes from the planet Lynphea. Flora has a close relationship with her little sister Miele, which is why she is sometimes overly cautious when her little sister wants to accompany her. The shy fairy is with Helia, one of the specialists.
Tecna
As the fairy of Technology from the planet Zenith, Tecna is less enthusiastic about old-fashioned books and tedious manual labor, as long as all of this can also be automated. She is an independent, logical thinking person who can even build a functioning GPS signal out of nothingness in the empty wasteland of the Omega Dimension. Although she often wants to think and act rationally, her own feelings (including for the clumsy Timmy) often get in her way.
Musa
The fairy of Music comes from a poor musician family and her mother died quite early. She occasionally has disagreements with her father, as they can both be quite stubborn and emotional. Musa loves to sing and make music and is fully in her element. She misses her mother, but she knows that she always watches over her. Her relationship with the specialist Riven has had its ups and downs.
Aisha (also known as Layla)
The princess of Andros is a fairy of Water and Motion. She can be stubborn and discovered her love for dancing through her friend Ann. Aisha often felt isolated and alone as a child, but when she danced with Ann, the loneliness disappeared. Even after she could no longer see Ann, she continued to dance. Aisha is a sports enthusiast and brimming with energy! Her fiancé, the water magician Nabu, died on her last mission. His loss runs deep.
Roxy
The last Earth fairy and the princess of the Earth fairies. She was the reason the Winx left their new position as teachers at Alfea and traveled to the Earth city of Gardenia. The wizards of the Black Circle were after Roxy to end her task - to banish all the Earth fairies. Roxy is the fairy of Animals and fights against animal cruelty. Initially, it was difficult for the Winx to convince her that she was a fairy and that the Winx were on her side. But together they managed to defeat the wizards and free the other Earth fairies. Roxy is the daughter of the Fern Queen Morgana and thus the princess of the Earth fairies. She only met her mother late because she had been locked away by the wizards. With the liberation, Morgana and Klaus, Roxy's father, were reunited. Roxy and the Winx became good friends.
The Specialists
The friends of the Winx. They have no magical powers, but they learn to fight and protect the magical world in other ways. Sky, Brandon, Timmy, Helia, and Riven are always there when the Winx embark on an adventure.
Enemies
The Wizards of the Black Circle
The fairy hunters Ogron, Duman, Anagan, and Gantlos had made it their mission in the last season to lock away all the fairies of the Earth. Their power increased the less people believed in magic. During a peace agreement, they wanted to get rid of all the Earth fairies that the Winx had freed at once. But Duman, who was not quite himself at the time, betrayed their plan and was subsequently destroyed by Nabu. The wizards were surprised by the Winx and fled to the Omega Dimension. There they were confronted and imprisoned in ice blocks, which fell down a cliff due to an earthquake.
The Trix
They were the first enemies of the Winx. The three witches Icy, Darcy, and Stormy always sought more power. This greed for power was the reason they allied with various other creatures and even took control of the Cloud Tower, their own school. They clashed with the Winx again and again and were ultimately locked away and expelled from school.
Valthor (also known as Balthor)
A dark magician who, like Bloom, draws his magic from the Dragon Fire. He stole magical artifacts from all realms to become more and more powerful and had a special connection to Bloom. He was once a prisoner of the Omega Dimension until he was freed by the Trix. However, they abandoned him after he changed his form into a more demonic one. In the end, he was defeated by the Winx.
Darkar
Also known as 'the Shadow Phoenix', he was the antagonist of the second season. Darkar has the ability to absorb magic and had control over Bloom after implanting a shadow virus in her. He was allied with the Trix but ended this alliance after the Trix were no longer important to him. He was ultimately destroyed by the Winx.
Mitzy
Bloom's rival in Gardenia. Mitzy is rich, arrogant, and can't stand Bloom. She tries everything to make Bloom's life as difficult as possible. Mitzy is not a fairy and has no magical powers.
Other characters
The Headmasters
Faragonda is the headmistress of Alfea. She was once a powerful fairy and a member of the 'Army of Light', a group of warriors against the forces of evil.
Lady Griffin is the headmistress of the Cloud Tower School for Witches. She expects a lot from her students and is somewhat biased against fairies, although her attitude has improved after the recent battles against the Trix. (The Trix had temporarily enslaved the entire school). Griffin knows from personal experience what greed for power can do and betrayed her former companion, Valthor, to join the Army of Light.
Saladin is the headmaster of the Red Fountain, the school of the specialists. This small, old, frail-looking man is still a powerful magician and a good warrior. He also belonged to the Army of Light.
The Earth fairies
The fairies of Earth. They are ruled by Roxy's mother, Morgana, who at the end gives up the throne to the Grand Fairy Nebula until Roxy is old enough to rule.
Among the Earth fairies are four Grand Fairies who watch over the people with their own troops.
The Places
In the magical dimension:
Magix
The capital of the magical dimension. Here are the renowned schools Alfea (for fairies), Cloud Tower (for witches), and the Red Fountain (for specialists) located. Everything in Magix is operated by magic, from the buses shuttling between the schools and the city to the fitting platforms in the shopping centers.
The Wildland
Is an anti-magic area, right next to Magix. It is mostly uninhabited and includes a diverse flora and fauna. The animals living there are mostly harmless, but due to the anti-magic field, it is dangerous for fairies to venture there on their own.
Only the first magic level, the Charmix, can give first-time fairies back part of their magic. The Winx earned their Charmix at a trip through Wildland.
The Omega Dimension
The icy planet of the Omega Dimension serves in the magical dimension to lock up serious criminals. These are frozen in magical ice blocks and stored there. It is said to be so cold there that your heart freezes immediately. There is only one way out of the Omega Dimension. For this, one must open an ancient, unstable portal that leads to the water planet Andros.
Domino
Bloom's home planet. Domino was destroyed by the three ancient witches long ago. Meanwhile, since Bloom saved her parents, the planet is in the process of rebuilding.
Solaria
Stella's home planet. Solaria is under the rule of Stella's father, Helios. The inhabitants of Solaria are fashion-conscious, like gossip, and enjoy the sun. There is not a day of rain on Solaria.
Lynphea
Flora's home planet. The planet of plants is considered one of the most beautiful and natural places in the world. Technology is strictly forbidden here. Wind gliders and giant ladybugs are used as means of transportation. In addition, this planet houses the unique Water Staircase, a place where water flows backward and has the gift of reversing the flow of time.
Melody
Musas home planet hosts Princess Galathea, who went to school with the Winx. The planet of music includes beautiful beaches and many different types of musical instruments.
Zenith
Tecna's home planet is the planet of technology and, like many other planets, is ruled by a monarchy. The inhabitants have a high standard of living and are real multitasking talents - but they often lack foresight and empathy.
Andros
The water planet Andros is Aisha's home and the home of dozens of mermaids and mermen. A portal to the Omega Dimension was erected here long ago.
Pyros
The planet of dragons. Pyros is a dangerous area where Bloom gained her Enchantix powers through her sheer will to survive.
Eraklyon
The home of the specialists Brandon and Sky. Sky is the crown prince of Eraklyon.
Places of the non-magical dimension/Earth:
Gardenia
The place where Bloom was raised by her adoptive parents and the hometown of Roxy. The Winx have put down roots here through their shop for magical cuddly toys (the Love&Pet Shop) and their band. Here is also the Fruitty Music Bar, which is run by Roxy's father Klaus.
Tir nan og
The home of the Earth fairies. Also located here is the castle of the Fern Queen Morgana, Roxy's mother.
The Transformation Forms of Fairies
Magix Winx (or magical transformation for non-Winx Club members)
The first transformation stage that every fairy learns over time.
Charmix
The second transformation stage. A Charmix must be earned by recognizing and overcoming one's greatest weakness. It is only a temporary improvement of the Magix Winx transformation and disappears after a while on its own.
Enchantix
The Enchantix transformation can only be achieved by saving a person from one's own world. The fairies must show a lot of courage to achieve this transformation. It is also possible to achieve one's Enchantix through sheer willpower, but this type of Enchantix is often incomplete. Apart from the stronger powers, the fairies receive the abilities of fairy dust and miniaturization.
Believix
The Believix transformation can only be achieved on Earth by convincing a human to believe in fairies. Through the Believix transformation, the fairy receives three new pairs of wings, each with different properties. Speedix (super-fast wings), Tracix (which allows the fairy to look into the past of a specific location), and Zoomix (teleportation). In addition, the temporary transformations Sophix and Lovix can be learned through the gifts of fate of the ethereal fairies.
Sophix
Can only be obtained through the gift of wisdom.
The Sophix gift makes the fairy one with nature, allowing her to see magical traces, among other things.
Lovix
This ability is unlocked by the gift of the heart. It gives the fairy more courage and cold resistance.
