A/N: A Most Unlikely Card, An Untraveled Road, and Gimme that Fire are coming along nicely, but I felt this deserved some love. Hope you enjoy!
As ever, I own no quotes, references, media or memes. Nope! Not a wit or one.
May this bring a smile to your face in these crazy times.
"They say parenthood is its own reward.
I disagree. Its a bloody blessing.
Got a problem with that?"

A Most Unlikely Morning
"Gooooood morning~!"
Naruto heard the cry mere moments before the impact.
It didn't save him. Nope. Not a bit, not a jot, and certainly not a thought.
He'd only just begun to open his eyes when something -someone!- slammed into his torso, landing on him with all the weight of a dumbbell. Breath blasted from his lungs and he snapped upright with a start, hands rising reflexively to grasp his would be attacker. He wasn't surprised when they grasped back, all but nuzzling themselves against him.
Against his better judgement he creaked an eye open.
A bright eyed girl grinned up at him from his arms, all of seven years old. Perfect in every way, a flawless blend of him and her mother. The impish smile that currently wreathed her whiskered cheeks, however? That was every bit his genes at work. Almost brought a tear to his eye, it did. She'd be a proud prankster someday.
"Its morning." she informed him primly, as if he weren't aware. "You said we could train this weekend."
"So I did." he stifled a yawn. "Ya gotta stop jumping on me, though Maeve...
Kurama groaned in the back of his head. "Feisty little thing...
"Why, though?" She blinked up at him with with peerless Mystic eyes, the very same that she'd inherited from her mother. "Mama's already awake."
...before sunrise, she's your daughter."
Naruto craned his neck to the other side of the bed. Sure enough, her "mother" rolled over with a long-suffering sigh. She went by as many names as she did titles. Medusa, Rider, Gorgon, Avenger...the love of his life. He could spend an hour describing how he felt about her and still, it wouldn't be anywhere near enough. Certainly not, because now she was giving him that look.
"Naughty girls will be punished.
Maeve had the good grace to gulp as he held her. "Uh-oh."
Medusa pounced. Their daughter squealed as her mother tickled her senseless.
A/N: Maeve sounded like a grand name for a kid, so I ran with it. Hope you enjoyed this little fluffy bit.
And there we go. With luck, I'll see you guys and gals again in a few hours.
So...in the immortal words of Atlas...
...Revieeeeew, Would You Kindly?
No previews. Too tired.
Too depressed.
