A/N: Read this note, would you kindly? Got some important info. Big changes are coming to this site.

Sorrrrrry!

Got sick, fell behind, trying to catch up.

I feel like I've failed you guys and gals, but I'm just so exhausted. T_T

Once the plot bins are updated (which will be today) the closest updates will be: Far from Home, Running to the Edge, Arcane stuff, Runt of the Litter, A Boy's Journey and One Helluva Team should be next, alongside Golden Soul, which Slifer is writing the next chapter for..

I'll be getting back to Fate, too...that is, if I'm still around.

I'll say it plain, if this email opt-in business with the site doesn't get resolved soon, I'm probably going to retire.

It HURTS to say that, but with this new system, reviews and readers have dropped to an all time low, many authors are leaving the site in droves.

If you're not already aware, ever since the 16th of November, you now have to turn ON your email alerts in account settings-MAKE SURE YOU CLICK SAVE SETTINGS!-else you won't be notified when anyone updates. No alerts, no email, no nothing. Apparently that's a thing we all have to do every ninety days or so, now. Alas, not many are aware of it...which is a problem. As things stand this new "fix" as it were, has cut everyone's viewership/reviewers in half because most folks don't know about it. Authors are leaving/quitting in droves because of this.

Sometimes opting in works. Sometimes it doesn't. Really depends. Hopefully the devs can fix tweak/update this system.

As ever, the Embers rule remains: If people don't like this story? If they don't enjoy it? Well...I' won't be able to continue it. That's no joke, folks. I'm so busy these days with two jobs; holidays are HERE and basically, I don't have time off. Not anymore. My free time is limited and as such, I can't afford to focus on something folks don't like. Reviews keep me writing in these times, and keep the daily updates flowing. Silence...silence only hurts. I hate having to beg for feedback, but without it...well, it feels like I'm not making an impact.

Alright, then. As ever, I own no references, quotes, memes or themes. Not a wit or a one.

I'm just a humble author trying to make his way in this wild world, one word at a time.

This is a rough draft. Time and feedback will determine if this becomes a story.

In other words...its up to YOU, the reader. Do let me know~!

References are references, and lets see if you can guess which ones are here...

Again, this is just a draft. For a new story or something in the future.

Who can say...?

"Forgiveness is a powerful force, even moreso for the unworthy."

Thirteenth Fragment

"Both of you. Sit down. Right. Now."

"What?!" Jinx absolutely hissed at him. "No!"

As far as ultimatums went, Vi agreed with her estranged sister; she considered it a pointless one. What did Naruto know? Who was he to demand they sit down and-HEY!

A yelp tore out of her as the battered blond grabbed her by the scruff of her neck; before she could even think to protest he plonked her down in a chair. A golden band of chakra bound her there. Jinx landed in the seat opposite her with an outraged huff and tried to rise, only to find herself pinned in place by a similar restraint.

"Let me go, you blond bastard! You can't keep me her!"

"Yeah, what she said!"

"I have had it up to HERE with the two of you squabbling." a finger stabbed at her sister's forehead, and did the same to her a moment later. "You're sisters! Family! And you, Vi? You screwed up!"

Anguish hit her in a wave. "I didn't mean to-

Jinx snorted. Errors were made.

Naruto rounded on her. "I'm sorry, did I say something that you found funny?! Wipe that smile off your face! You're just as much in the wrong as her. You both screwed up! Stop dancing around this and for once in your lives, talk it out!

"Its her fault!"

"Nuh-uh! Its hers!"

Vi tore her gaze away with a huff. Jinx did the same.

"For the love of-ACT YOUR AGE!" Naruto flung up his arms, grabbed their chairs and slammed them together. "You're not children anymore! The two of you are going to talk and make up, or so help me, I will lock you in a closet until you do!"

Jinx pouted, looking like Powder for the first time in years. "And if that don't work...?"

"Then I let Kurama stage his version of an intervention. Trust me. Ya won't like it."

On cue, his body burst into gold. The fox leaned over him with a sneer.

"Hello, ladies. We can do this the easy way, or the hard way."

Vi dared to lift her chin at the beast. "What's the easy way?"

"You talk about your feelings like good girls."

Powder pouted. "Aaand...the hard way?"

His grin grew. "I gobble you up."

Both sisters squeaked.

A/N: Aaaand scene.

Something less depressing this time.

Weeeell? Did it bring a smile to your face? Yay or nay?

Consider this a fragment, something that may or may not come to be.

As ever, reviews keep this old man alive during this dark and crazy time. I ain't joking.

Seriously, we're all locked away in isolation or worse these days, words are all that sustains me.

So in the Immortal Words of Atlas... Review...Would You Kindly?

Still no previews this time. Not with this weeks madness.

R&R~!
