A/N: Aunt's funeral is today. Posting these plot bin updates, as I'm likely to be busy for the rest of the day.
I've taken to drowning my sorrows in writing and drink, so apologies for any errors here.
As ever, I own no quotes, references, quotes, themes or memes!
They're simply tributes to legends far, far, FAR greater than little 'ol me.
I'm just an old man who writes as a pastime. I don't make any money doing this, not a single cent.
This is ALL done for free. Time and feedback will determine updates.
Consider this the teaser for the next chapter of Unlikely Berserker.
"I never yielded! And as you can see, I ain't dead!
Now c'mere, gramps.
Time to fight.

A Most Unlikely Teaser
...I'm gonna knock you out.
"Foolishness." Assassin hefted his blade. "Thou art a persistent wretch, Berserker. I grant thee that. However-
A fist barreled through King Hassan's guard, blasted his blade aside and crunched through his mask. The so-called Assassin of Blue struck the ground, bounced once, and crashed into building.
Mordred had a veeeery nice view of it from where she lay. Totally worth losing an eye.
"I'm sorry," Berserker hummed, popping his now-dislocated hand back into place. "Did I make you lose your concentration?"
A low rumble of annoyance pierced the gloom.
...very well. I shall take thee seriously."
To his credit, Naruto -damn zombie!- waited until Assassin emerged from the ruin before he jumped him. His fist flicked out, grabbing his blade, wrenching it aside. With the other he reeled back and started swinging, one punch for every word.
"Mama!
Said!
Knock!
You!
OUT!
The last punch knocked King Hassan clear out of town and drilled him into a mountain.
Mordred laughed herself silly, legs kicking in the air.
"Yuuup. Definitely worth it."
A/N: Aaand scene~!
A/N: ...if you can see this, do let me know.
I've made up my mind; with the site being broken AGAIN -no notifications for ANYTHING- and short of a miracle, I'm placing a pause on updates for the big stories. Which is a shame; because I had a bunch of them raring to go but I'm not sure if anyone can see them, and that fear is holding me back like nothing else.
Sorry for the inconvenience,
~Nz.
