Hello, guys. I've had an idea for a fanfiction of Luca (a NORMAL fanfiction of it) ever since the movie came out in 2021, but only now did I finally find the time to write it down. Enjoy.
The train just started moving.
This was it. There was no more turning back.
I was finally gonna get into school, gain some proper education.
Luckily, I wasn't alone. Giulia, the one who introduced me to the entire concept of school, would be there to help me with everything.
Sadly, this also meant there were some people I had to, so to say, leave behind.
I hope Alberto will be able to go about his deeds the way he used to. And after all, he's got Massimo to keep him company. (...And his cat.)
I promised mom I would write her every day. That's gonna be a lot of paper used...
As I moved away from Portorosso, I was still standing on the edge of the train door, looking at that wonderful town from the distance.
I will admit; tears started forming in my eyes. It was a huge change in my life; what was I supposed to do?
Once the train moved far enough from Portorosso, I lost sight of it. All that was left of me was to watch the rest of the view in front of me.
Even though it was still beautifully sunny, there were a few clouds from which it started raining.
Some of the raindrops fell on me. And I was glad that it happened. Because that helped me turn to my sea monster state.
Damn it! I am a sea monster after all! The students and teachers will freak out if they find out! I can't let them find out about this!
Unless...
I find a way to make them it seem really cool to them.
But how will I do that?
Well, I'll have plenty of time to have that on my mind, won't I?
I did get back inside the train, though, so as to not accidentally fall off it.
And Genoa was still a long way away.
"Are you excited?" Giulia asked me, clearly being very excited herself about this.
"Sure thing I am," I replied honestly, as I kept looking through the window.
"I think you're gonna love Genoa," Giulia maintained her excited tone. "There's so much to do there; I don't even know where to start..."
I have to admit, what Giulia said there got me kind of convinced.
Who knows, maybe I'll meet another sea monster...
Yeah, maybe I should just wait until I get there. I haven't even seen what Genoa actually looks like! That's what I should focus on first before trying to do something wild again!
It stopped raining. The sky is completely bright again.
The view through the window was even more amazing than just a few seconds ago.
And Giulia came panicking for a moment. So I think...
"Pick up your stuff!"
Yep, we will soon be arriving at Genoa.
That wraps up chapter 1. Let me know how you like it. Thank you!
