AN: I know. I know. I need to update my other fics in Taylor's Harem series. But I just couldn't resist writing another Lung/Skitter or Kenta/Taylor fic. I just love these two. They are my favorite rare pairing and I just can't help myself. I haven't finish the next chapter for my other Lung/Skitter fics. Hopefully I can finish it soon but no promises. I will update the Lung/Skitter fics as soon as I am able to finish the next chapter.

Taylor Hebert is ten years old when her soul mark appears.

I'm going to kill you, bug girl! is written on her inner wrist.

When she first discovers the words, it immediately scares her.

She doesn't know why her soulmate would threaten to kill her or why he would call her bug girl. But one thing is for certain, she has a soulmate.

She just doesn't know if she would love him in the end and he her, like how her mother loves her father.

.

.

.

She is sixteen years old when she triggers.

When she gets her power for the first time, she finally understands why her soulmate would call her bug girl because Taylor has the power to control bugs after she triggers.

She also begins to suspect that her soulmate must be her enemy because why would he threaten to kill her unless they are on the opposite sides of a fight?

It is only when she goes out for her first night as a cape that the inevitable happens.

She meets the notorious ABB leader named Lung.

The same man who is infamous for taking out teams of cape with his overwhelming firepower.

The most powerful parahuman in Brockton Bay.

And he also happens to be her soulmate.

Goddamnit!

NOW

It is Taylor's first night out as a cape and the first thing she encounters is a man with a dragon mask ordering his men to kill kids.

Of course, Taylor isn't going to let them do it. So she doesn't hesitate at all before she sets her bugs on them.

Then, one thing leads to another and Taylor ends up confronting the villain with a dragon mask on the rooftop of an abandoned building.

Now she stands before the most powerful cape in Brockton Bay.

The ABB leader.

Lung.

"I'm going to kill you, bug girl!" Her opponent snarls as he stalks towards her while he continues to ramp up.

"Try it if you can, Lung!" is Taylor's immediate retort while she readies herself for the fight.

However, the moment those words fall from their lips. They both freeze at the same time when a strong connection snaps between them.

"No…it can't be…" She hears the ABB leader mutter as he stares at her in shock.

Meanwhile, Taylor is as shocked as him when she realizes what this all means to her.

No, to both of them.

He is my soulmate. She thinks faintly as she gazes into the ABB leader's wide brown eyes through his ornate dragon mask. The soulmate that I've been wanting to meet since I was ten years old.

There is a tense pause as they simply regard each other in silence.

I need to go. Taylor swiftly decides next.

I can't – I can't be here. She thinks desperately.

She no longer wants to confront Lung after finding out who he truly is to her.

She still can't believe that Lung is her soulmate even when she can already feel the growing connection between them.

Taylor begins to back away slowly.

At the sight of her moving away from him, she notices the way Lung's eyes narrow at her.

And that's when Taylor finally loses her nerve and suddenly bolts.

She runs away like she does with all of her personal problems.

"You are not going anywhere, bug girl!" The ABB leader yells in an accented tone as he too swiftly scrambles after her. "I won't let you!"

Taylor makes her way towards the rooftop exit but despite her fast movements, Lung is faster than her and he ends up tackling her to the ground before she can reach the exit door.

Lung's muscular body slams into her slim figure.

"Oomf!"

She gasps as she falls down together with Lung.

They both hit the ground hard with Lung instantly moving to restrain her upper limbs. His large hands are like steel bands as he grips both of her hands above her head.

Taylor looks up at him and tries to use her bugs to attack the notorious villain but her new soul bond to him prevents that from ever happening.

Soulmates can't hurt each other, especially if they have powers.

"Do you think I would just let you go after finding out what you are to me?!" The Dragon growls furiously as he glares into her eyes. "Believe it or not. I'm surprised as you are when I find out that you are someone special to me."

"And what are you going to do about it?!" Taylor snaps while squirming beneath him.

"I'm sure you already know what happens to the soul bond when it is not consummated at once," is the ABB leader's cold drawl while he tightens his grip on her wrists.

Taylor's eyes widen in astonishment when she suddenly finds out what his intentions are.

"I'm not going to have sex with you!" She exclaims while she starts to struggle earnestly.

"We don't have any other choice unless you want to live in agony for prolonged periods of time," Lung tells her coolly as he tries to overpower her struggling figure. "The soul bond between us must be consummated. I just can't let you walk away."

"But I'm sixteen years old! You can't just have sex with me! It's against the law! And I don't want to have sex with a full grown man who is a complete stranger to me!" She protests loudly.

"Do I look like I care about the law?! And I'm not a stranger to you! I'm your soulmate! There must be a reason why the universe has paired us together. Our souls are intrinsically bound together by fate since the day we were born!" Lung snaps at her angrily. His foreign accent becomes more pronounced the angrier he gets.

"Let me go, you bastard!" She shouts, trying to knee him between the legs but the infuriating villain moves his legs before she can cause damage to his family jewels.

"Either you come with me willingly or be forced to do so. Your choice," Lung sneers at her.

"Go fuck yourself!" She curses while still struggling against his strong, muscular body.

The Dragon sighs in obvious exasperation and then says, "Then, force it is."

Taylor hears him say right before he uses one of his hands to press his thumb against her carotid vein and wraps the rest of his hand around her neck where then he starts to squeeze until she feels faint and begins to see dark spots in her vision.

She is slowly losing consciousness.

Taylor tries to fight the creeping darkness at first but it is in vain.

She is weak compared to Lung.

So it is inevitable before she succumbs to unconsciousness.

And Taylor Hebert knows no more.
