"This is great. Thank you!" Alexis says as she is at the Night Market holding a basket full of items.
"Hey Alexis. What are you doing here?" A voice asks revealing to be Sunny and Zipp.
"Sunny, Zipp. Im here getting some stuff for Misty. Thought it might help her curiosities about Briddlewood. While still being at a pace she wants that is." Alexis says.
"That's so sweet Alexis." Sunny says as she smiles.
"Thanks. Whoa! Bleh! What is that smell?" Alexis asks as she backs away smelling an awful smell.
"Don't ask." Sunny says as Alexis looks at her.
"So what are you guys doing here?" Alexis asks.
"We're trying to figure out how to read this map. Well we think it's a map." Sunny says as she holds a parchment up to a breezie before it begins speaking their usual gibberish.
"It's not a map?" Alexis asks before the breezie flies away.
"I think she's also saying you uh stink." Zipp says as she smiles at Sunny.
"Should we get that triple berry ice cream now?" Sunny asks as the group begins to walk off.
*Timeskip*
"I guess nobreezie knows what this thing is. Should we get out of here?" Sunny asks as she holds up the parchment while the group is eating on some ice cream.
"Ugh! I hate leaving empty-hoofed." Zipp says annoyedly.
"But not empty-stomached!" Sunny says happily before a breezie comes flying over with a basket.
"Well hello there." Alexis says before the breezie speaks gibberish and brings over a red heart shaped necklace to Sunny.
"No I think there's been a mistake. That's not mine." Sunny says before the breezie speaks gibberish again.
"Um does anypony understand her?" Alexis asks.
"What is she saying? It seemed serious." Sunny says.
"Wait... I think I can translate this with my new app!" Zipp says as she records the breezie before playing what she said using her phone.
"It has long been waiting for a special pony. A hopeful pony. I believe that you are the one." The phone says.
"Me?" Sunny asks in surprise.
"Okay that's a little odd." Alexis says as the breezie speaks gibberish.
"But weirdly flattering! This is awesome! What a cool color. And it looks old too really old." Zipp says as the breezie hands Sunny the necklace.
"It's lovely. Thank you so much!" Sunny says as the breezie speaks gibberish again.
"Remember nopony is alone who has friends. I bid you adieu." The phone says as the breezie leaves.
"Did that just happen? Or am I dreaming?" Sunny asks.
"Nope. You're not dreaming." Alexis says.
"What do you think she meant by The One?" Sunny asks.
"I have no idea but it looks like mysteries are cropping up all over the place! We gotta start solving some of 'em." Zipp says as the group gets up and begins walking.
"Hmm... Okay the clue hunt continues." Sunny says.
"Back to the Brighthouse?" Zipp asks.
"I just have to investigate one quick thing first." Sunny says.
"What's that Sunny? Oh." Alexis says as she and Zipp chuckle seeing Sunny getting more ice cream.
"What! Ice cream helps me think!" Sunny says happily as she takes a lick of her ice cream.
*Timeskip*
"Hey! You're just in time to see Sparky fail his safety drill with flying colors." Hitch says as the group walks up to him after getting back in Maretime Bay.
"Yeah why even put down the cones?" Zipp asks.
"That's what I said. So what's new?" Hitch asks.
"We're investigating a mystery and we found another mystery. A Breezie just randomly gave me this ancient locket. Cool huh?" Sunny asks as she shows Hitch the locket.
"Very cool. But what does it do?" Hitch asks.
"We don't know yet." Alexis says.
"It's just pretty I think. It's more about what the Breezie said... Nopony is alone who has friends. Hmm..." Sunny says.
"Hitch you're great at puzzles. What do you think these are? We think they might be pieces of a map." Zipp says as she shows Hitch the parchment pieces.
"Huh... Nothing I recognize. But I can look through the old station archives to see if it looks like any of the maps in there." Hitch says.
"Let us know would you? Thanks Hitch!" Zipp says as the group begins to leave.
"You betcha! And if you see Sparky outside would ya tell him to scoot his boot on in here?" Hitch asks.
"We will!" Alexis says as the group leaves as Sparky runs into the building with a cone on his head.
*Timeskip*
"Misty!" Sunny says as the group is at the lighthouse as Misty comes running in.
"Check out this old locket." Zipp says.
"A breezie gave it to Sunny." Alexis says.
"Opaline... dragons... awake... magic!" Misty shouts in alarm.
"Get her some water!" Alexis says in alarm as the group runs over to Misty.
"Get her some room!" Zipp says as the group walks Misty over to the seats before they sit down.
"Now what is going on?" Sunny asks.
"Opaline's going to descend upon the Dragon lands and enchant and possess them. For evil! And... and... so much more! Um... What's that smell?" Misty asks as she sniffs the air.
"Nothing! Just tell us everything." Sunny says nervously.
"And we'll tell you about what we found too." Zipp says as she holds up the parchment causing Misty to gasp.
*Timeskip*
Later as Alexis is walking toward the bridge to Opaline's place she soon spots Opaline come out and fly over before landing in front of Alexis.
"What do you want?" Opaline asks annoyedly.
"I came to talk." Alexis says.
"Oh really? Last we saw each other you wanted nothing to do with me after I imprisoned you and your so called friends." Opaline says.
"Look I'm sorry I acted that way. But you shouldn't have done what you did to Sparky either. Or to us." Alexis says annoyedly.
"And what gives you the right to tell me what to do?" Opaline asks angrily.
"Because I thought you were my friend and I want to see you on a better path." Alexis says.
"You thought we were friends?" Opaline asks in surprise.
"Yes. Didn't you?" Alexis asks curiously as Oapoone smiles nervously.
"Well of course I did. Why wouldn't I think we were friends?" Opaline asks as she chuckles nervously.
"Okay well anyway I wanted to invite you to Maretime Bay for a smoothie." Alexis says.
"I doubt the others would be so kind to allow me near them after last time. Why are you? Friend or not." Opaline says as she looks at Alexis curiously.
"Because I want to see you have a better future. You don't deserve to live by yourself. You've told me so much and I want to help you. You deserve a better chance for a future. You're my friend and that's what friends do." Alexis says as she smiles kindly.
"You're willing to help me despite everything?" Opaline asks as Alexis nods.
"If you'll let me." Alexis says as she smiles.
"I don't think I wan to go for smoothies but how about a simple walk together?" Opaline asks as she smiles softly.
"I'd like that." Alexis says as she and Opaline walk off.
