"Could you turn that down Pipp? I can barely hear myself navigate." Zipp says as she is driving the group to the Dragon Lands while Pipp is playing one of her songs very loudly.

"What?! I can't hear you over this Intense Music for our Trip to the Dragon Lands playlist I made!" Pipp says before Sunny turns the music off.

"Thank you." Zipp says as she smiles.

"Hey! I was just trying to keep the mood light. It's so tense in here." Pipp says.

"That's 'cause last time we visited the Isle of Scaly there were no dragons. This time who knows what we'll find?" Hitch asks.

"Yeah. So this much tension is gonna be normal. Not that its a welcome thing but not exactly unexpected either." Alexis says.

"I just hope we get there before Opaline." Misty says as Zipp steers the Mare Stream into a glowing tunnel in a cliff side.

"Huh? Spark Alert! We have a map situation again!" Zipp shouts as the map begins to disappear.

"Step back! Dragon magic incoming!" Izzy shouts as she picks Sparky up as he breaths fire at the map making it reveal itself again.

"Whoops! It's gonna be a hard left!" Zipp says in alarm as she sees a sharp turn ahead.

"Hold on to your cutie marks!" Sunny shouts as Zipp manages to steer the Mare Stream outside into the Dragon Lands.

"We made it!" Izzy shouts as she looks outside.

"It was so much easier when we just trotted through a magic door last time." Misty says.

"Definitely." Alexis says.

"At least we can snap some great aerial shots. Ugh! My battery is dead!" Pipp says in alarm as he phone beeps before she plugs her phone into a charger causing the Mare Stream to lose power and begin falling with the group inside.

"Everypony take their stations! This could be a crash landing!" Sunny shouts.

"Forget could be! I think this is gonna be a crash landing!" Alexis says in alarm.

"I have an idea! It might work but it might not. But I like those odds!" Izzy says as she opens a window and quickly blows up some huge balloons causing the Mare Stream to land safely on the ground as the balloons pop.

"Nice job Izzy." Alexis says.

"You never know when you'll need a really, really big balloon. That's why I have 'em at all times. Whew!" Izzy says happily.

"Great landing everypony. Best yet." Hitch says as the group gets outside of the Mare Stream.

"Well we're back! I can't believe we did it!" Sunny says happily.

"Now let's not pat ourselves on the back too much. These dragons have been asleep for ages. They still could be." Hitch says.

"Let's wake 'em up!" Izzy says excitedly.

"We're here!" Pipp says as she flies up singing.

"But why... are you here?" A female voice asks revealing to be five large dragons.

"Well we got their attention." Alexis says nervously.

"You are trespassing on the Isle of Scaly. Who are you?" A pink dragon asks as she goes up to Sunny.

"I'm Sunny. This is Hitch... Izzy... Pipp... Zipp... Alexis... and Misty." Sunny says as the group gives nervous looks.

"Okay... Why are you here?" The pink dragon asks.

"Uh to help." Sunny says.

"Pretty sure we don't need your help." The pink dragon says as she begins to walk away.

"Actually... you do. There is an evil Alicorn that wants to steal your dragon magic. We want to stop her." Sunny says causing the dragon to stop and look at her.

"Pony leader I'm Blaize. Let's speak in private." The pink dragon says.

"Oh uh Blaize I'm not the-" Sunny then gets cut off by Blaize.

"This way!" Blaize says as Sunny nervously follows her.

"Hi! Nice to meet you! I'm Izzy! We flew here on the Mare Stream which might be broken. I wanted to make a good impression so I crafted these charms for you. They have our names on them so you can remember who your new friends are. What are your names?" Izzy asks excitedly as she goes over and gives the other four dragons bracelets.

"I'm Luxxe! You made this? I love it!" The yellow dragon says happily as she looks at the bracelet.

"Hoof-to-heart Luxxe!" Izzy says as Luxxe gently pushes her into a green dragon as he licks the bracelet in disgust.

"Ew! Yuck!" The green dragon says in disgust.

"Leaf be nice to them. They brought presents." A pink dragon says.

"I want a good one! Are they all the same Tumble?" Lead asks annoyedly as Luxxe takes his bracelet much to his annoyance.

"I'm Fountain. What are you doing?" A blue dragon asks as she goes over to Pipp.

"Hi I'm Pipp. I'm just trying to find a signal. Ugh! My phone is really acting up." Pipp says frustratedly as she is holding her phone.

"Um signal? Uh I don't know if we have that here. Also what is a phone?" Fountain asks causing Pipp to look at her and scream.

"W-What did you just say to me?!" Pipp asks.

"Okay so... Name... Tumble. Age... Dragon age. Current questions? These. When did you all wake up?" Zipp asks as she is holding her phone out to Tumble, Leaf and Luxxe.

"When the evil one came!" Tumble says as Alexis and Misty go over.

"Evil one? Opaline!" Zipp says as she gasps.

"Her magic shook the Isles and she captured Lava and Jade." Fountain says.

"Opaline captured two of your friends?! How?!" Zipp asks in surprise.

"It takes us dragons weeks to awaken from a magical hibernation that deep." Tumble says as he groans sleepily.

"She attacked when you were half asleep?" Alexis asks.

"That sounds like Opaline." Misty says annoyedly.

"Our shimmers haven't been too bright since then. Look." Leaf says as he scales glow faintly.

"That is very bad!" Izzy says in alarm.

"Well said pony." Fountain says sadly.

"How strong is this Opaline?" Tumble asks curiously.

"Do you think Lava and Jade are okay?" Luxxe asks concernedly.

"I hope so." Misty says sadly.

"Don't worry. We'll figure out how to beat her. I hope." Alexis says sadly as she looks down.

"Okay then ponies. You say that you aren't with this evil dragon-napper pony-" Blaize says as she and Sunny come over.

"May the record show that Opaline is an Alicorn." Zipp says.

"But not all Alicorns are evil." Sunny says nervously.

"Mm-hmm." Leaf says as he looks at Sunny causing her to give a nervous look before Sparky comes walking tiredly out of the Mare Stream.

"A hatchling?!" Luxxe asks in shock.

"If you aren't dragon-nappers then why do you have a baby dragon?!" Blaize asks angrily.

"That's Sparky. Hitch found his egg back in Equestria and took care of him. He's sort of Sparky's dad now." Izzy says as Blaize growls and goes toward Hitch causing him to give a nervous look of alarm.

"His pony dad! But really he's my best friend and little deputy and... so much more!" Hitch says as he chuckles nervously as Sparky climbs onto his back and gurgles.

"Fry my tail. There hasn't been a baby dragon around here in a volcano's age! What?!" Tumble says in surprise.

"It's like a miracle! A hatchling could restore shimmer to all of Scaly!" Leaf says happily as Sparky happily kisses Hitch causing him to smile.

"Awwww!" All the dragons but Blaize say happily.

"I don't think these ponies are our enemies." Luxxe says.

"You're too quick to trust Luxxe. I still don't understand why they came all the way out here." Blaize says.

"Because we want to stop all of Equestria from falling into a darkness so dark that we may lose the light of friendship forever!" Sunny says as she goes over to the dragons.

"That would be bad. Like super bad." Pipp says worriedly.

"So please dragon friends! Band together with us. Help us stop Opaline, restore the magic shimmer and kindness in all of Equestria and rescue your fellow dragons that Opaline has taken!" Sunny says as her cutiemarks shines.

"Ta-dah!" Izzy says happily as she tries to give Blaize a bracelet only for her to give an unimpressed look and sign of annoyance.

"We must first request approval from our leader. The Dragon Lord. To form a partnership with ponykind." Blaize says.

"Well where can we find him? We don't have all day!" Zipp says impatiently.

"Technically we do. Because the Mare Stream is well broken. So we are kinda stuck here." Misty says as she and Alexis look back at the busted Mare Stream.

"She does have a point." Alexis says.

"Oh. Yeah." Zipp says.

"Follow us little ponies. We will lead you to our ancient, much larger, much wiser and much more secretive leader." Blaize says.

"Uh excuse me Blaize. Might I make a suggestion? I was thinking maybe it would behoove us..." Izzy says.

"Clever!" Misty says happily.

"Thank you! To have some of us stay here to try and get the Mare Stream fixed in the meantime." Izzy says.

"I second that. That way some of us can try to get the Mare Stream working again while the rest go with the dragons." Alexis says.

"Great idea." Sunny says.

"Yes, yes, yes! Izzy can craft a fix for the power source on the Mare Stream and I will find some residual Pegasus Wi-Fi to make a call for help!" Pipp says.

"Um I'll stay too." Misty says nervously.

"I'll stay as well." Alexis says as she smiles before the dragons whisper to each other.

"And Leaf and I will stay here with you ponies. Not because we're keeping an eye on you or anything." Luxxe says as she receives an annoyed look from Blaize.

"But because we love making jokes while others do work!" Leaf says as he and Luxxe smile.

"Great! Let's get going! No reason for this to... drag on! Seriously? Nothing? Come on, that was a good one!" Hitch says as the group splits up while no one laughs at his joke.

*Timeskip*

"Okay so if I connect this wire to this wire. And I turn this knob it- Well that's something at least." Izzy says as she is messing with some wires having no luck.

"This is gonna take forever." Alexis says frustratedly.

"I don't get it. No matter what we do the Hope Lantern just gets dimmer and dimmer." Misty says as she looks at the lantern.

"It's not just the lantern. All my devices are drained too." Pipp says frustratedly.

"And that's connected to this how?" Alexis asks curiously.

"Alexis I've had them plugged into the Mare Stream's outlet all day! It's so weird right?" Pipp says as she holds up the outlet revealing it's got a lot of things plugged into it.

"Uh maybe your stuff is draining the energy from the lantern." Misty says.

"Yeah. It could be causing a power surge because it's being overloaded." Alexis says.

"Yeah that's not really how the lantern works. Plus if they were don't you think they'd at least be a little charged?" Pipp asks sadly.

"Let's just unplug this. Just in case. Even dimmer?! What is this? Opposite Day?! Oh spark my horn! None of this makes sense!" Izzy shouts frustratedly as she unplugs the devices only for the lantern to glow even dimmer.

"Uh we weren't trying to eavesdrop..." Luxxe says as she and Leaf come over.

"We were actively doing it." Leaf says bluntly.

"But it sounds like the Mare Stream isn't draining the lantern." Luxxe says.

"Of course! The lantern is the problem! It's losing power on its own! But why?" Misty asks.

"That is pretty odd." Alexis says.

*Timeskip*

"This is awful! We're stuck, and they're going to be back soon!" Misty says sadly as the group is sitting outside while Leaf and Luxxe are laughing as they shake the Mare Stream.

"What are we going to do?" Alexis asks.

"At least we had fun while we didn't fix anything. I love laughter." Izzy says as she smiles listening to Luxxe and Leaf laughing

"Good news everypony! Ponies and dragons are now working together!" Sunny says as she and the others come back over with a large purple dragon causing Alexis, Misty, Izzy and Pipp to cheer happily.

"Now let's go get that Dragon Stone and stop Opaline!" Hitch says determinedly.

"Izzy fire up the Mare Stream!" Zipp says.

"Um when you say fire it up like should we burn it? Because it is toast!" Izzy says.

"We're stranded?" Sunny asks in alarm.

"I wouldn't say that." The purple dragon says as he and the other dragons raise their wings much to the groups joy.

*Timeskip*

"I don't know how to thank you!" Sunny says as the group is riding on Spike and the other dragons backs in the air.

"Save it. We're a team now." Blaize says as she reveals she is wearing the bracelet Izzy made.

"You think we can do it? Save Equestria and the Isle of Scaly?" Fountain asks.

"Well it's not gonna be easy." Zipp says.

"When is it ever easy? Not like that has stopped us before." Alexis says.

"Alexis is right. If we all work together we can do anything! Who's ready to take down Opaline?!" Sunny asks.

"I am!" Misty shouts as Sparky gurgles excitedly causing the group to laugh happily.

"Hold on! Hold on! My phone just turned on! Can you say all that inspiring stuff again please?" Pipp asks as her phone beeps as the group laughs.
