Chapter 6: Infiltrating the Hive
(DISCLAIMER: I DO NOT OWN POKÉMON OR BEN 10! POKÉMON BELONGS TO NINTENDO/GAMEFREAK! AND BEN 10 BELONGS TO "MAN OF ACTION"!)
(The group of Ash, Pikachu, Iris, Fraxure, Jessie, Arbok, Paul, and Mightyena were now back in the Mechanics Shop acting as a Cover for the Ultra Ranger's secret base with Zoroark now joining them due to worrying about Mohn. And with the group having found where The Queen's hive is, needed a way to get there. But Paul and Mightyena had an idea, as he led to the Mechanics Shop and Mr. Parker).
Mr. Parker: Paul and Mightyena made this for your birthday present. (Mr. Parker said referring to something hidden underneath a large White Sheet covering, only for Ash to counter that claim of his).
Ash: But My birthday was two months ago. (Paul and Mightyena sarcastically fire back at Ash telling him).
Paul: You cannot rush genius.
Mightyena: Or Perfection. (Then Paul removes the white sheet covering to reveal... A Car! But not just any car, it was a Slick black Mazda RX-8 with a blue stripe on the bottom of the front of the car spanning across the sides. It had a spoiler on the back of the car. There was also a scoop on the hood. And best of all, it was a Sports Car too! Ash, Pikachu, Iris, and Fraxure were in absolute shock and amazement at seeing the car here).
Iris: Oh, my gosh, Paul. lt's beautiful!
Fraxure: It is amazing. (Ash and Pikachu go to admire the Car's Tire Rims, still in amazement of the Car itself. Only for Paul to correct them on their Pronoun's).
Paul: "She". She is beautiful. You call a car a "she". (Then he lightens up a bit to admire the results of his and Mightyena's arduous work). And You are right. (Then he casually puts his arm around Iris' shoulder as he tells her and Fraxure). Do not be jealous, you got a couple of good qualities, too. (As nice as that was for Iris she playfully hits Paul in the chest to get him to back off a bit. While Jessie and Arbok were equally impressed with the Gift that Paul and Mightyena had made for Ash).
Jessie: A car. Your friend built you a car.
Arbok: A Very Niccce One at that. (Ash and Pikachu were feeling extremely excited at the significance of the present that is a Car right in front of them. But then Mr. Parker interjects to inform them of something they should know).
Mr. Parker: Well, the weapons and defense systems are not online yet, but she will run.
Pikachu: Man, this such a Cool Car. Thanks So Much Paul. (Then Zoroark chimes in so he can praise Paul and Mightyena's skills on making the car here).
Zoroark: Excellent Job you two. Excellent Job.
Paul: Yes, the fact is she will simply eat anything in her path.
Mightyena: And you are welcome. (Ash feels touched by this gesture from the two of them).
Ash: Now I do not know what to say. Other than l cannot wait to try her out. (Only for Paul and Mightyena to object telling him).
Paul: Oh, you are not driving. l said l was going to give you the car. That was before you and Pikachu bailed out on the team. l'm keeping her. (Ash and Pikachu remembering when they did that were not surprised, as he knew to expect a bit of backlash from them eventually).
Mightyena: Tough Luck you two. (Ash, however, objects to Paul and Mightyena's plans to keep the car).
Ash: Oh, l'm driving. (Paul challenges Ash on that asking him).
Paul: How do you figure? (Ash Smirks back at him telling him what he plans to do if they keep him from Driving).
Ash: Tyranitar will be happy to throw the car to Johto. (Not liking that idea of his as it was a reminder of what Ash did to his own car earlier, glared at him).
(Later, Ash's New Car was driving down the road, with Ash behind the Driver's Seat, with Jessie in the seat beside him, with Pikachu sitting on her lap. As her Arbok was back in its Pokéball, along with Mohn's Zoroark who begged to come along with the group out of worry for his trainer and was now in its own Pokéball. Sitting in the back seat of the Car was Paul, Iris, and Fraxure, with Mightyena having gone back into its Pokéball for the Car ride ahead of them. Ash drives his Car with Skill and ease as he smiles, enjoying the feel of driving his very own car).
Ash: l like it.
Pikachu: And you are doing a very respectable job of driving Ash. (Then Paul leans forward from the Back Seat to sarcastically tell Ash while feigning his enthusiasm in sharing Ash's excitement for driving).
Paul: l'm thrilled. (And so, Ash continued driving the group to their destination).
(Eventually, the group arrived at their destination, the "Ship-It" World Distribution Center in Greenfield, Johto. After parking the car, the group got out and were now walking to Facility from a Hill near the area with Jessie's Arbok, Paul's Mightyena, and Mohn's Zoroark now rejoining them, as Iris sarcastically said to herself).
Iris: Johto in February... a dream vacation, only 40 degrees colder.
Fraxure: But at least we are finally here, at last. (Then the group stopped walking when they saw the Center before them).
Ash: Let me get a closer look. (Ash took out a pair of High-Tech Binoculars that allowed him to zoom in and get a closer look on the area before them). lt's like a small army... (Then he Zoomed in even more as he saw a large amount of what looks like ordinary People and Pokémon working there) or not so small. (Then he stops using them before handing the Binoculars over to Iris so she can use them). Check it out. We are gonna be fighting quite serious odds down there.
Pikachu: No doubt Odds that are not going to be in our favor. (Iris could see just what Ash was talking about as Iris and Fraxure did not like this situation at all).
Iris: The people... They are all infected.
Fraxure: And their Pokémon too. (This looks to upset Zoroark as he knows that his own Trainer was among the People and Pokémon here somewhere).
Zoroark: I hope Mohn is okay. (Then Paul got a turn with the Binoculars and saw one of the Microchipped People accidentally dropping a Bin and he sarcastically mocks the Person saying to himself).
Paul: Oops. That is coming out of your zombie paycheck.
Mightyena: Which is surely already Blanker then a Blank Check. (Then Mightyena laughs finding his own joke to be hilarious). Ha! Get it? (Then Iris gets the group to focus on their task as she reminds them of their purpose for being here).
Iris: All those crates are full of chips. (Then Jessie gets to look through the Binoculars as she takes notice of the number of Crates).
Jessie: Gosh, there must be millions.
Arbok: Which meansss Disaster and Doom if we do not ssstop them.
Ash: Chance six billion. That is the number of people there are on Earth. Okay, let us get inside.
Pikachu: And stop them for the last time! (Then Ash and Pikachu lead the group to the facility, hopefully without attracting attention to themselves).
(A couple of minutes later, the group had managed to sneak closer to the Facility without any of the Microchipped people noticing. They all hide behind a bit of Shelter as they peek over their Shelter and see an entrance into the building ahead of them with Trucks and People ahead of them).
Jessie: Looks like that is where we wanna be, right in there.
Arbok: And that is where we need to go then. (Then Iris and Fraxure see something that gets their attention).
Iris: Oh, no! Grandpa!
Fraxure: There he is! (The group sees Mohn himself standing by one of the Trucks with another Man beside him. Then Ash with his Big Brother Instinct, but as a cousin kicking in, he stops her, Fraxure, and Zoroark from making any more noise which could give away their hiding place telling them).
Ash: Iris, Fraxure, Zoroark, no. lf he sees us, he will alert the others we do not belong here. He is one of them now. Hive mind. lt's up to us.
Pikachu: So just hang in there, okay? We have him back to normal soon.
Zoroark: I hope so. (Then the group retreats from their hiding spot to continue sneaking their way into the building).
(A couple of minutes later, the group has managed to sneak their way inside the building successfully without alerting any of the Microchipped People and Pokémon to their Presence. The Group was on a high platform overlooking a Massive Room full of Millions and Millions of People of Pokémon. They see a bunch of People and Pokémon filling Vials with the Microchips resembling Joltik, sealing them shut, and boxing them in Crates. With Jessie and Arbok taking notice of this).
Jessie: lt's like a human assembly line.
Arbok: I have always wanted to seeeeeee the inner workings of a factory, but not like thissss. (As the group keeps watching the scene in front of them, Ash and Pikachu are looking for The Queen, who they need to get rid of if they want to have any chance of saving the world. But so far, no sign of her).
Ash: No sign of her royal highness, the Queen. (But then they saw something they undeniably caught their attention). There is someone we know.
Pikachu: Look over there. (The group looked to see what it was that Ash and Pikachu had seen. In the center of the room was a platform with what looked like a Man standing/hovering above it. He had a ton of Suction Tubes plugged into his body with Joltik Microchips coming from his body through the Tubes and into the machine before coming out of a dispenser that was sending Millions of Microchips out. At once, Paul and Mightyena recognized the Man there).
Paul: lt's the creep from back at the mill.
Mightyena: That is him all right. No doubt about it. (Indeed, the man on the platform was indeed the Mystery Man they saw before. Then Iris and Fraxure recognize the Mystery Man, knowing who he was).
Iris: That is Mr. Joseph Stone. (The group was in shock to know that Jessie's own father, Joseph Stone was indeed behind this all along. Paul and Mightyena were quick to show their anger towards Jessie and Arbok, lashing out at them as well as Ash and Pikachu).
Paul: l knew it. l told you not to trust her.
Mightyena: I knew she was no good at all, she was just a no-good Double Agent, who has been lying to us this whole time about wanting to clear her family's name of her father's acclaimed crime when they really just wanted to earn our trust before selling us out to them. (Jessie and her Arbok were tired of constantly getting accusations of being a "Double Agent" as well as people thinking that she and her father had made a Face-Heel Turn as they denied it telling them with Jessie keeping her Phlegmatic composure).
Jessie: lt's not like that.
Arbok: We are not Double Agentssss. (Then Iris and Fraxure join in lashing out at Jessie and Arbok).
Iris: You both knew your father was behind this the whole time.
Fraxure: How could not tell us that piece of information?
Zoroark: You both have a ton of serious explaining to do. (Then Ash realizes something else Jessie and her Arbok had lied to them about).
Ash: You both said you did not know that guy. (Pikachu was also angry with Jessie and Arbok).
Pikachu: In other words, you lied to us. (But then Jessie and Arbok confess sounding truly upset and worried).
Jessie: No that is not my dad. He has become some kind of freak.
Arbok: A Really freaky one at that. (Then the group takes notice of the Microchips flowing from Joseph Stone's body and into the multiple suction tubes attached to his body. Before they end up dumped into a Massive Bin full of Microchips. Before the Microchipped People and Pokémon pour them into Vials).
Iris: Well... l think we found out how they make those chips. (Jessie and Arbok were still feeling horrified at the horrible sight of her father here).
Jessie: No.
Arbok: It cannot be. (Then the group looked over the railing to see a Woman Pushing a Cart Full of Vials with Microchips in them, and a little boy in a soccer jersey by her side with a Pichu on his Shoulders was with her. Paul and Mightyena then turn to Jessie and Arbok telling them, sounding quite angry at them for keeping essential information from them).
Paul: You have a ton of explaining to do.
Mightyena: And you better have good excuses for not telling us about all this. (But Ash comes to Jessie's defense telling them).
Ash: Not here, she does not. (Then the boy, the Pichu, and the woman all looked up to where the group was standing, only for them to no longer be there. Then they went back to working on their task for the Hive).
(A Couple of minutes the group is now elsewhere in the building. Paul grabs onto a Locker and begins absorbing it, giving his arm a Metal Covering. Before he and Mightyena walk over to Jessie and Arbok still chewing them out over their deception towards them).
Paul: They are both in this together. lt's a trap.
Mightyena: And now they must pay for their deception. (Paul and Mightyena were about to attack the two of them only for Ash and Pikachu to stop them).
Ash: Back off! lt's okay!
Pikachu: Hey! Save the pounding for the Bad Guys, whose name is not Jessie or Arbok.
Paul: Yes, how is this okay? (Iris and Fraxure then spell out why and how Jessie and Arbok had betrayed them).
Iris: Ash, her father is reproducing those chips. He is the one controlling this whole operation.
Fraxure: And they just so happened to not tell us before now. (But Ash and Pikachu are not as convinced with Iris' theory).
Ash: ls he? lt looks like the chips are controlling him, just like Mohn! (Then Ash and Pikachu turned to Paul and Mightyena). lt's not a trap. (Then they turned to Jessie and Arbok confronting them on their deception). l trusted you, Jessie.
Pikachu: And Arbok. How could you lie to us? (Jessie and Arbok were still quite emotional at seeing her father in his current state as she tries to keep composure as she explains why she lied to them, but her emotional distress was clear in her voice).
Jessie: We had to lie. We knew you would react like this. Refuse to help us, treat us like the enemy, just like they did to my father.
Arbok: It wassss the only way. We are sorry for lying to all of you. (Ash and Pikachu were understanding of their reason for lying to them but were still angry nevertheless).
Ash: Then l guess you do not know us as well as you thought. (Then he turns to Iris and Fraxure asking them). Right? (Iris and Fraxure are quiet, not saying anything).
Pikachu: We understand why you had to lie to us, but we are still angry about it. (Jessie and Arbok's despair and sadness comes out as they apologize to the group for lying to them).
Jessie: We are sorry. We just wanted this nightmare to end.
Arbok: Please forgive us.
Iris: Well... looks like it is just beginning. (The group looked back over at Joseph Stone who was still producing the Microchips from his body as Ash took notice of this as he figured something out).
Ash: So that is what those plans were for. He was conducting tests on himself. He is the hive. His own body is producing them by the thousands, every minute.
Pikachu: Can I just say how creepy that is?
Fraxure: I will save you the trouble Pikachu, it is very creepy. (Then Iris realizes something important here).
Iris: ln a colony, only the Queen can reproduce. (From that, Jessie realized something else).
Jessie: So... The Queen is inside of my dad. (That sends a Shiver down both her and Arbok's spines).
Arbok: Again, that issss so Creepy and disturbing so many levels. (Then Paul and Mightyena tell Ash what he must do here).
Paul: We gotta shut 'em down, Ash. Destroy him, destroy the Queen.
Mightyena: In other words, do your thing Ash. Do what you do best. (After hearing what Paul said about her dad, she and Arbok make their objections with the plan clear).
Jessie: No! You cannot!
Arbok: There must be another way! (Iris and Fraxure feel bad for them but know this is the only way to save the world).
Iris: l'm sorry, Jessie, Arbok but Paul may be right. lf it is a choice between one man and the entire human and Pokémon race... (Jessie and Arbok were not liking how they were using the argument of "What Is One Man's Life in Comparison" to suggest destroying her father to destroy the Hive and save the world. As Jessie and Arbok get even more emotional than before begging Ash not to Destroy her father).
Jessie: You said you would save him! lt's not his fault! The Queen is controlling him by the Queen!
Arbok: There is always another way to save people without destroying them. (Paul and Mightyena understand how Jessie and Arbok are feeling here as Paul puts his hand on Ash's shoulder telling him and Pikachu).
Paul: Man, we understand this is hard, but unless you take out this guy, the entire world falls. You know what Mohn and Zoroark would do. (Ash and Pikachu look over to where Joseph Stone's Microchip producing body is, thinking about his options for a moment before responding to Paul's words).
Ash: While I do not know what Mohn and Zoroark would do, l know what l would not do, l do not destroy victims since l save them.
Pikachu: Never have and never will. He did not even to consider doing so for a second to know for sure. Even in the face of this Cassandra Truth where Joseph was right about the chips and how they were planning something all along. (Then Zoroark chimed in adding onto what Pikachu still feeling and sounding regretful for his and Mohn's choices earlier).
Zoroark: However, when he tried to have them destroyed, we arrested him, and no one believed him when Mohn and me interrogated him. And he insisted that he was stealing the chips for someone else, and we considered it a betrayal. (Fraxure tries to comfort him as Ash and Pikachu turned to look at Joseph Stone's body once more while Jessie and Arbok asked him).
Jessie: What is your plan, Ash?
Arbok: Do you have a plan? (From what Ash and Pikachu can see here, Ash draws a conclusion on what to do here).
Ash: lt looks like all the soldier chips have ended up dormant for shipping. (Ash then turns to the Pokétrix on his wrist). lf l stop the Queen before she can activate them, it looks like we have a chance of beating this thing. (The sound of this plan of theirs has Pikachu, Iris, and Fraxure worried for him as Iris stops him to ask).
Iris: Ash, wait a minute, what do we do if Arceus or Tyranitar ends up absorbed by the hive? lt's all over.
Fraxure: Iris is right Ash; this sounds just too risky.
Pikachu: I do not want to lose you Ash. (Ash thinks about it for a moment, considering what they said, before replying to them).
Ash: Absorbed by the hive is Quite much what l had in mind. (This only makes the group even more worried for Ash. Then Ash tells them something he noticed with the Pokétrix earlier). Remember when the Pokétrix scanned the chips' DNA? (Iris nods as Ash continues relaying his plan to them). l can fight them from the inside if l become one of them. The watch has been cooking this up the whole time. lt's time to take it out of the oven. (Then Paul and Mightyena stop Ash from going further with his plan telling him as he puts his hand over the Pokétrix to keep Ash from using it).
Paul: Ash, this is not like anything that you have become before.
Mightyena: And now is not exactly a suitable time for practicing this kind of transformation. (Then Iris tells Ash more about the threat they are dealing with here).
Iris: Paul's right. lt's a hive mind-based organism. (Ash and Pikachu does not understand what Iris is saying here).
Ash: So?
Pikachu: Uh, in Laymen's terms Iris? (Iris then spells it out for what she was telling him).
Iris: So, l think the Pokétrix can turn you into one of these things, but l'm not so sure it can keep you in control once it does. (No one in the group likes the sound of this, as they all get a bad feeling). You may become a permanent slave to the hive. (And now the already bad feeling they had begun feeling even worse when they heard Iris say that. Before Paul makes it sound even worse than it already was).
Paul: A turbo-charged killer weapon slave.
Mightyena: Especially one with Arceus' reality warping powers, or with Tyranitar's Super Strength at their disposal. (Jessie and Arbok then join in listing all their concerns and worries for this plan of Ash's).
Jessie: Ash, no. We do not wanna lose you, too.
Arbok: Please reconsider this plan of yours.
Pikachu: It is just too risky Ash. (Ash understands the concerns and worries everyone has for him, but he knows that this is only thing that can save them all.
Ash: We are out of options. l will have to put my faith in the Pokétrix. (Ash began working the Pokétrix, getting it ready to go. But before he can transform, Iris stops him giving him a light push as she and Fraxure yells at him letting their worried emotions come out in her voice).
Iris: lt always needs to be your way, doesn't it, Ash?! Just like walking out on the Ultra Rangers.
Fraxure: Do either of you even know how much that hurt us or how worried we were for you both afterwards. (Ash and Pikachu could easily see that Iris and Fraxure was terribly upset at them walking out on them earlier, as he hastily apologized for doing that to them).
Ash: Okay, so likely we should have stayed and talked it out, but this is different. (Iris still very worried and concerned for Ash's Safety and Wellbeing yelled to Ash).
Iris: Why? (Ash does not like this situation any more than the others do but he yells back to Iris telling her).
Ash: This is something l just do not wanna do, l just do not see any other way!
Pikachu: Iris, I hate to say it, but Ash is invoking his, "Thou Shall Not Kill" Rule as he is absolutely refusing to kill Jessie's Father here. But I agree with him on this decision of his. (Then suddenly a Man grabs Jessie from behind making her Scream).
Jessie: Aaahh!
Arbok: Jessie! (After recovering from the shock of having the man grab her, Jessie manages to elbow the person who still refused to let her go. This also unfortunately gets the attention of all the Microchipped controlled people and Pokémon, who stopped what they were doing, to look over what was going on).
Ash: Jessie! (But then Jessie kicks the man before hitting a couple times, then having Arbok tackle the man to the ground. Just then an alarm begins blaring. Which ends up getting the attention of the other Microchipped People and Pokémon who began walking towards the group. The Group was now in Danger of having a Swarm of Microchipped People and Pokémon coming for them. Would the group be able to stop the Microchips and save the Earth or would they all fall under the Control of the Swarm forever?).

Ashpoke55: Thank you, I am glad that you had a nice Memorial Day. (I did too :) Even if was a crazy couple of days, but I am not going to get into that now). As for what you said about the battle that takes place when Ben and Co. go to the "Alien X Home" which is called the Forge of Creation, and they have the Battle with the Villain before Kevin Mutates into Ultimate Kevin, that Villain's name is Aggregor. And yes, his name does look quite hard to spell, and I should know, I tended to spell his name wrong sometimes. But Aggregor was a Cool Villain, but he was cool season long villain, so I did not mind it as much when he ended up suddenly dropped as a character (and then forgotten in favor of the Ultimate Kevin Arc). And when it comes to the Ben 10 Battles, I always give it 110% Effort. (Well, more like 200% but you know what I mean, and I am exaggerating a bit to make a point). And while I have honestly never been a Digimon Fan, I am a huge fan of the "Bakugan" Series. But to be clear, I like the Original "Bakugan" Series with the seasons called, "Bakugan Battle Brawlers", "Bakugan New Vestroia", "Bakugan Gundalian Invaders", and "Bakugan Mectanium Surge" as I had watched every single episode of those previously mentioned seasons on YouTube, having not seen the show when it was aired on TV. The Remake Series called; "Bakugan Battle Planet" never interested me enough to want to watch it. And I have a ton of Favorite battles from those seasons, such as (in no specific order for most favorite to least favorite), For "Battle Brawlers":

Before I even started watching the "Bakugan" Show, I used to watch the Canadian Trailer for "Bakugan Battle Brawlers" since I thought it was quite cool. Eventually, I ended up hooked and became the "Bakugan" Fan I am today. I never played the physical "Bakugan" card (Toys etcetera), but I do have a collection of Bakugan Balls and Cards. So, that is my history with the "Bakugan" Franchise. But here is a fun (and quite funny) fact, the actor who plays Dan's Partner Bakugan, Drago, Jason Deline also does the Voice of Benkei on another Animated Series called, "Beyblade". (Specifically, "Metal Fusion", "Metal Masters", "Metal Fury", and "Shogun Steel").
