Hello, dear reader!

Pyretta here. Welcome to my Fallout 3 fanfiction!

The following story is about a character I've created to take on the role of the infamous 'Lone Wanderer.' Her name is Maria Røntgen, and this whole story is a re-telling of her journey throughout the wasteland. Here's a few things you may want to know before you continue reading:

- this fanfiction is based on my own playthrough of Fallout 3; I'd tried to remain pretty faithful to the events as they happened in my playthrough, though I may need to change a couple things to better fit the narrative going forward.

- this story as a whole is not necessarily a romance, but there is romance scattered throughout. A few characters are regarded as romantic interests throughout the course of the story, but here is definitely considered the 'main romantic interest.' I don't want to spoil anything for anyone who would rather experience this fanfiction organically, but if you would rather know which character is the 'main romantic interest,' I have placed their name at the very end of this document past the spoiler alert break.

- there is a possibility that, part-way through the story, it may deviate to two possible different storylines (good karma/bad karma). - there will be 18+ scenes written about this story, however, the uncensored versions of these scenes will only be available to our members on Ko-Fi (purplestrudelhouse) & (purplestrudelhouse). Generally-romantic scenes will all be free to read, however. These 18+ scenes will also not include any essential story beats, so you will NOT be missing anything story-wise if you are not reading them. They are entirely optional. Members also get early access to chapter releases, teasers, writer's notes, etc.
