Marie x Edd fanfiction story. Once a bully and a victim were now some people they used to know each other. I do not own Ed, Edd, n' Eddy, it is owned by Danny Antonucci. I tried to make it as EENE styled as possible. The story takes place in 2013 around October (4 years after Big Picture Show).

It has been a few years ever since the last time the Eds were ever tormented by the Kankers. After the events at Mondo A-Go Go, the Kankers still went after the Eds but the frequency got gradually less the more all of them grew up. Leading to a stop. They've never interacted at all after unless needed to.
The relationships between Ed, Edd, and Eddy never faltered, they still stuck together like three peas in a pod. Of course, each individual went on to make more friends but their main friend group was always the 3 of them together. For the Kankers, their half-siblings bond still stand strong but they have become less together, Marie having moved into another friend group, May finding her own. Lee does know many people, but does not have a close friend group, as she is mostly focused on working to save up money. While all 3 still bickered and fought. There is love underneath it all still. As sometimes they would take the journey home at the same time, if one is not out with their friends.
BEEP BEEP BEEP! The alarm sounds as Edd taps the switch to turn off the alarm bell after rolling to the side of his bed. He then sat up in his bed and stretched his arms. The time reads 6:30 AM. He got up from the bed and folded his blankets, grabbing his cell phone he walked downstairs to the kitchen to make himself some cereal. The house was empty and silent again as his parents were already out for work.
Edd, in twelfth grade, he still wears his old beanie, and no one other than Ed and Eddy knows what's under it. They only saw it once though. He still wears mostly the same clothing. He has gotten taller and has grown muscles but is still considered below average in physical abilities for someone his age. However the other part, his brains, is still something remarkable. Top student in his grade.
Checking his cell phone, Eddy and Ed were up talking late until 11 PM as usual. Edd had reminded them of the importance of sleep countless times. But as much as he advised them. As much had they ignored him.
BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP! The alarm sounds as May taps the switch to turn off the alarm bell. The time reads 7:30, she sits up kneeing on the bed, and begins to push Lee and Marie to wake up.
"WAKE UP! SCHOOL TIME!" shouted May,
May has grown slightly taller than when she was 12 in eighth grade. Her hair has stayed the same, being very smooth and straight. Her buck teeth still remained noticeable, and she considers it to be one of her defining features. What's different is her fashion sense. She has stopped dressing with just a t-shirt and shorts like her younger self did.
Lee fluttered her hands at May
"I woke up after WHEN THAT THING BEEPED!" as she grabbed May's hand and dragged herself up from the king-sized bed, standing up and walking off the bed.
Lee has not changed that much. Her appearance remained mostly the same, except she got her blue tooth fixed.
"Jeez, you could've said it less mean!" said May as she watched Lee leave, Lee giving her a middle finger as she walked out of the room.
May turns back to the lying Marie on the right edge of the bed.
"Mar-"
"I'll wake." Marie said in a soft tone, cutting off May, she had only gotten 5 hours of sleep.
"Sure.. Marie." said May, as she skidded her way off the bed and went out the door.
"LEE! I woke up first! Let me use the shower first!"
Marie lays on the bed, she slowly pulled off the covers and sat up on the side of the bed, eyes half closed while in her pajamas, with the bright morning sun shining on her. She got up and slowly walked over to where her phone was charging and grabbed it and headed down to the first floor of her trailer. She sat down on the couch while waiting for Lee to finish using the bathroom, slouched over with May next to her staring at the TV.
Marie has remained mostly the same, her hair is still the same short blue one. She does have an ear piercing now though. Her fashion got more dark and shows less skin in her outfits. She now wears a small azurite necklace all the time, it is large enough to completely fit her neck but not make it uncomfortable and suffocate her. She has gotten taller but May has surpassed her in height.
Marie rested her legs on May's lap as she looks at the TV to stay awake.
"Marie, did you get any sleep at all?" May asked.
Marie laid there, not replying, May thought that she might've not even heard her speak. May then pushed Marie's legs off and got up to the kitchen.
"I'm gonna go microwave some pancakes." said May, walking to the kitchen.
"Oh. Make some for me." said Marie,
"Come and make some for yourself!" shouted May from the kitchen, opening the refrigerator
"What's so hard just stacking them on top of each other..." said Marie,
"Eat them cold then, Marie." said May, as she put 2 frozen pancakes on a plate.
"Hey... you know what? I'd do just that. Doesn't seem like a bad idea." said Marie.
May scoffed at this and closed the microwave and stood up. As Lee steps out of the bathroom, steam follows her out the door. She looked at May,
"What 'ya makin'?" asked Lee as she adjusted her towel
"Pancakes." answered May as she began to walk to the bathroom door.
"Some for me? I did buy it." said Lee.
"Why ask? You're gonna eat mine anyway." answered May, narrowing her eyes at Lee.
Lee chuckled, "Haha, dang right." smiling
May got into the bathroom and closed the door as Lee walks over, about to head upstairs.
"Wow, Marie, you look like a zombie. Again." said Lee as she walked past Marie on the couch.
Marie again ignored what she said as she continues typing stuff on her with her friend group. She seems very close to this group as they are the reason she stayed up late in the first place.
Edd is in his car, dressed up in his usual orange fall jacket, his parents had gotten him a car a few weeks after his sixteenth birthday. He got his driving license within the first try. On the passenger seat next to him was Eddy and in the backseat was Ed and Sarah. Ever since he got his car, he has been driving Ed, Eddy and Sarah to Peach Creek Highschool.
"Soo, gentlemen, what were you two doing last night?" Edd asked as he was driving on the road.
Eddy, sitting in the front passenger seat, looked over to Edd, wearing his usual yellow fall sweater and a brown satchel across his body, he had this satchel ever since seventh grade.
"Same stuff. Lumpy and I were up 'cause some assholes in GTA kept talking smack and getting salty. I couldn't leave." said Eddy.
Eddy is still considered short for his age of 17, but he has gotten taller. Eddy has dark hair over his head now and most of the time it is in gel. His desire for money is still there. Though he chooses not to work but he does buy snacks outside school and sells them for some people at lunch. He does make regular profit from it. And sometimes Edd and Ed would help and they would get some pay out of the business aswell.
"Should've just let it go, Eddy. No point in squabbling with people you don't know and won't ever see again for the rest of your life." said Edd.
'But Edd! We have to fight against the bad guys!" said Ed, wearing his usual outfit, zipped up and a black backpack.
Ed has grown taller, being one of the tallest in twelfth grade. He has a buzzcut and gets It always mostly cause he doesn't know what other hairstyles to get. Nothing changed much as he is still the same goofy lovable big guy that he is and always has been.
"Well, did you do your homework?" said Edd. Glancing at Ed through the rearview mirror.
"... Noo..." said Ed, looking down.
"You could've used the time wasted on those people on your academics instead." said Edd.
"Jeez Double D, we can just do it at school." said Eddy rolling his eyes,
"You stayed up late and you plan to rush your homework at school? Sleepy and hurried?" said Edd
"Jeez, Double D, you're not my dad, man." said Eddy
"Eddy I'm just giving you advice on what I think you should do for the better of you." said Edd.
Edd, being the kind-hearted soul he is, has always felt responsible for his friend's well-being and tries his best to always give advice and improve his friends every time he had the chance to. Which is not a bad thing, but sometimes it can get annoying for those around him.
"Oh-ho my god!" said Sarah, giggling, texting on her phone.
Sarah is now in tenth grade and she is still close friends with Jimmy, they are in the same friend group. She has gotten taller, considered to be average height for someone at her age of 15. Same straight orange hair. Same style of fashion.
It is 8:20 AM and the three Kanker sisters are walking together to school, Lee in a big white coat and black jeans, wearing red high heels, holding a black purse. May is in a yellow knitted sweater, some black jeans and black Converses, and a black satchel. Marie wearing a black hoodie and a black shirt underneath, complete with black cargo pants and leather boots, with a patchwork satchel bag across her body. All of them wearing pink belts. Marie yawns as she covers her mouth.
As they gotten inside the school, they have split up to go to do their business. Marie doesn't really like Thursday mornings because she shares no class with any of their friends. They are mostly the reason she goes to school at all. First period, she walked over to her class and sat down in her seat.
Edd also has the same first period as Marie's, which is English class. There are 4 rows vertically and 4 rows horizontally, Edd sits infront of Marie on the left side of the classroom, Edd sitting at the second row.
Marie slumps on the table due to her tiredness as the teacher walks into the class. Mr. Carter, he is a fair teacher who likes teaching his students very much. He's a man in his 30s who usually wears a buttoned-up shirt and black pants, however, due to the coldness in this time of the year, he is wearing a black nylon hoodie with a single gray stripe across.
Mr. Carter sets down his backpack on the table.
"Good Thursday morning, class! Wake up!" as he snaps his fingers around,
Marie looks up from her slumped position tired, while Edd was already actively listening and paying attention to the teacher the moment he walked in. Edd already has his notebook out on his desk ready to write down whatever Mr. Carter had to say for the subject. Marie does have a notebook for this subject but it is rarely used and she mostly just rips pages off to draw. Not much is noted.
"Edd... in front of me. I wonder why I ever stopped talking to him. Well I mean did we ever really talk? Or was it just me and my sisters tormenting him and his friends? Whatever." Marie thought to herself.
Edd, even if he never gave it much thought or admitted it. Like any other normal teenage boys, has developed a liking a long time ago to the opposite gender. And he has always wondered the same Marie has, why did they ever stop talking? They occasionally meet since they live 10-20 minutes walk from each other. But they never waved or said hi. Well, not never, but it has been long ever since that happened. Part of him did wish that Mr. Carter would've prepared a pair work assignment for him to do, and he would've picked Marie, as he doesn't really know anyone else in that class much. However, this was only in his subconscious.
"Okay class, now that I have your attention. I have a project for you guys, that I want to be completed by the end of next Thursday! It is very simple and easy, and I believe I might've even given you guys more than enough time." said Mr. Carter
The classroom listened.
"For this assignment, I want you guys to form a pair."
