Chapter 1: Rage
DESERT OF NEW MEXICO
General Thunderbolt Ross ordered the tanks fired at something huge, but what was it? Even Ross couldn't believe his eyes. It was a large green monster roaring as he charges at the tanks and six soldiers aiming their guns at the monster. As bullets were being kept fired nothing was impossible to bring this creature down. The whole reason this happened the monster is responsible for the killings of Banner and 30 people including the general's daughter Betty Ross though hospitalized. This only happened three days ago...
EARLIER...
Dr. Bruce Banner was hard at work in the lab studying under a microscope, but his face was filled with anger and stress as if he was about to explode. He takes his pen to take down notes. Until Major Talbot comes into Banner's office.
"Doctor Banner, are you already?" He asked
"Yes...I hope the experiment works." Banner answered
He sees Betty in the halls
"Oh, Hi, Betty." He gave a small wave
"Hi, Dr. Banner." She smiled at him
"Where's your dad? Isn't he coming?" Banner questioned
She looked down. Bruce has no idea why was she looking down? Did they have a fallout?
"He's here." She answered, but her tone was a bit off as if she cared about her father at all
When Banner reached the end of the halls, Betty was having thoughts on Dr. Banner. He has his thing with his eyes. The eyes of anger, but she does not know why his eyes were like that? Banner has a way of not expressing any emotion except when he's under a lot of stress especially since his expertise is on gamma radiation he hopes it could end world hunger or cure diseases. He hopes his experiment has not failed...Unfortunately on that faithful day Banner's experiment has failed. The woman's body on the ground is covered in gushing blood.
Back in the desert of New Mexico General Ross continues ordering his men to fire at the green monster but no use the monster. He's enraged and continues to charge at the tanks. The monster reaches to the first tank and raises his hands to smash the tank, but the tank fired back at him sending the monster away later two Jets start coming in and firing at the monster.
"Tango. Tango. target is surrounded over." Said Jetfighter #1
Suddenly, the monster leaps onto the Jet
"AH, SHIT!" Yelled Jet fighter#1
He raises his two fists as he stares at the person angrily. He starts punching, bashing, and smashing. The jet lands at the first tank KABOOM! The monster lays down on the ground exhausted as he gets back up on his feet. There were flames everywhere. He escapes the battle. Ross is stunned at this creature. So powerful. So enraged. So much hatred. Talbot comes along his side.
"What," He gasped out," the hell was that?"
"It was some sort... a mindless green monster. a mindless Hulk." Said, Ross
"What are your orders, sir?" Asked Major Talbot
"We find this Hulk. No matter the cost. I don't care f you call in the entire US government, but I want to stop this creature before he goes destroying the entire country." He answered.
"Yes sir," responded Talbot
Ross cell phone rings, he picks it up
"Hello?... Hello, who is this? It better not be one of those telemarketers!" He snapped
Over the phone
"Calm down, General Ross. It's only me... Your old friend." Said the speaker
Ross recognized his voice,
"Is it you Tony?" He asked it was hard for him to be certain but he's not amused by hearing Tony's voice
"It is." He answered firmly, he continues. "Heard you gotta problem in New Mexico, but don't worry, my team will take care of it."
Ross was confused "Team? WHAT TEAM?!"
