Hi everyone! I'm back with a new chapter!

"So what's for dinner?" Ludwig asked his mother.

"The chefs are making steak, mashed potatoes, and grilled asparagus." Clawdia smiled.

"I can't wait! I love their steak!" Ludwig replied.

"Kacey's steaks taste better, but the chefs are good too." Roy said, thinking about his girlfriend's cooking.

The Koopa family walked out of the castle and made their way out of the Cloud Empire. Once they made it to the Cloud Kingdom, Ludwig's phone vibrated. He took it out of his shell and smiled when he saw that he had a message from Jasmine.

"Hey sweetie! I'm back in the Mushroom World!" Her message said.

Ludwig texted her back. "That's great! I bet you had fun with your family in Brooklyn."

"I sure did!" Jasmine immediately replied back.

"Oh! We should hang out tomorrow. I have something amazing to show you!" Ludwig texted.

"Sounds good! Can't wait!" Jasmine replied back. Ludwig smiled, put his phone away, and followed his family back to the Koopa Kingdom.

An hour went by and night fell. King Zephyr looked out of the door to make sure there were no Koopa Troopas or Hammer Bros around. After making sure it was safe, Zephyr, Queen Tempest, Prince Aire, and Princess Iris left Zephyr's and Tempest's castle.

"Alright. The Koopas aren't around, so we can make our way to the Mushroom Kingdom." Zephyr whispered to the others.

"Yeah. We gotta get there as fast as possible!" Aire whispered back.

Soon the four monarchs made it out of the Cloud Empire and started their journey to the Mushroom Kingdom.

The next day, Peach invited Luigi, Daisy, and Jasmine over to the castle to hang out for a bit. Their other friends, Kayden and his younger sister Kacey, were at Serene Isles hanging out with Princess Summer and her boyfriend Kai. Peach smiled as she watched Mario play with their newborn son Arturo. Arturo laughed at the funny faces his father made.

"He's adorable!" Daisy said as she played with Arturo's short blonde hair.

"Yeah, he is!" Mario chuckled and hugged his son. Arturo yawned, making Peach smile.

"I guess it's time for his nap." Peach walked over to Mario and gently took Arturo in her arms. Before she could leave, they heard footsteps running towards them.

"W-Who is that?!" Peach exclaimed, holding their baby close to her chest.

A few seconds later, Zephyr, Tempest, Iris, and Aire entered the living room of the castle. The four stopped to take a few deep breaths.

"Oh! King Zephyr! It's just you guys! Is everything alright?" Peach asked.

After catching his breath, Zephyr spoke. "We're sorry for barging in here like this, but it's an emergency!"

"Mario! Luigi! We need your help!" Iris added.

"What happened?" Mario asked.

Tempest took a deep breath and explained the situation. Mario and his friends were shocked after hearing what happened, but Jasmine's shock turned into anger.

"Ludwig! I can't believe him! I bet that's the surprise he was telling me about!" Jasmine said.

"I can't believe he took over an entire empire!" Luigi exclaimed. Jasmine stood up and walked towards the four monarchs.

"Don't worry. I'll stop Ludwig myself." She said.

"Are you sure, Jasmine?" Mario asked.

Jasmine nodded. "Yes. At least let me talk to him."

"I don't know if talking will work." Aire replied.

"I still wanna try. Please, it wouldn't hurt, right?"

"Well," Tempest spoke. "I guess that's fair."

"Great! Please lead the way!" Jasmine said.

Zephyr nodded and the four monarchs began to leave Peach's castle, Jasmine following close behind them.

Jasmine gasped softly once they made it to the Cloud Empire. It was amazing and beautiful to her! She shook her head and focused on the situation.

"I can admire this place later. Right now I gotta talk to Ludwig."

"He should be at the castle in the Nimbus Kingdom." Aire said. Jasmine nodded and continued following them.

After walking through the other kingdoms, they finally arrived in the Nimbus Kingdom. The group made their way to the castle, where two Hammer Bros were guarding the front doors.

"Well, he should be inside." Iris said.

"Alright. You all should wait here. Hopefully I can reason with him." The others watched as Jasmine walked towards the front doors of the castle. The two guards, recognizing her, let her inside.

"Wow!" Jasmine exclaimed as she looked around the hallways. She heard voices coming from a room and peeked inside, seeing Ludwig sitting on a throne and talking to a Magikoopa.

"There he is!" Jasmine whispered to herself. Jasmine then walked inside of the throne room, a small bit of anger returning.

"Ludwig von Koopa!" Ludwig and the Magikoopa stopped their conversation when they heard Jasmine's voice. Ludwig's eyes widened and he stood up.

"Jasmine? How did you get here? I was going to surprise you later." Ludwig said.

"I know what you did, Ludwig! Queen Tempest and the others told my friends and I everything!" Jasmine replied.

"Jasmine, this is fine! I'm not even worried about being king anymore. I'm an emperor! That's even better!" Ludwig exclaimed.

"Luddy, this isn't right! You invaded this land and took it over!" Jasmine yelled.

"Jasmine! I'm happier now that I'm emperor!" Ludwig yelled back.

"I know that you wanna be a leader, but this isn't the right way!" Jasmine said.

The two were silent for a moment. Then, a thought came to Jasmine.

"Where's the dungeon?" Jasmine asked.

"Jasmine-" Jasmine ran off before Ludwig could finish. The Magikoopa and Ludwig chased after her.

"Jaz! Come back here!" Ludwig called out.

Jasmine ran through the halls, passing the dining room, the bathroom, and a room filled with toys and games. Soon, she found a large door and opened it, finally finding the dungeon. She walked inside and gasped when she saw Skylar and his family locked inside of the cell.

"W-Who are you?" Amaya asked.

"My name is Jasmine. I'm friends with Mario and Luigi. I'm here to help." Jasmine said.

"Oh thank goodness!" Amaya replied.

"Jasmine!" Jasmine turned around to see Ludwig and the Magikoopa entering the room.

"Ludwig! I know Queen Tempest told me what happened, but I can't believe this! Not only did you lock up the emperor and empress in here, but their children too! Children Ludwig!" Jasmine yelled.

"Jasmine, you just don't understand! I deserve to be king, but Father is letting Junior be his successor!" Ludwig screamed.

"I can't believe you're jealous of a little kid, Luddy!" Jasmine screamed back.

After taking a deep breath, Jasmine walked closer to Ludwig.

"Look sweetie, why don't you just let the emperor and his family out of here, give him back his empire, and we can talk to Bowser and Clawdia about you being Bowser's successor? Does that sound good?" Jasmine smiled softly.

Jasmine gasped at Ludwig's response. "No."

"N-No? What do you mean "No"?" She asked.

"My father won't listen to whatever we'd tell him! Junior is his favorite, and he's gonna be the next king of the Koopas!" Ludwig replied.

"Ludwig, we don't know that for sure!" Jasmine looked around until she found a key. She tried to reach for it, but Ludwig levitated it and brought the key over to him, holding it in his hand.

"Ludwig!" Jasmine exclaimed.

"I think you should head home, honey." Ludwig said. He looked over to the Magikoopa and nodded. The Magikoopa took out his wand and pointed it at the human in front of them.

"L-Ludwig! What are you-" Then, Jasmine disappeared.

Zephyr, Tempest, Iris, and Aire were still outside of the castle, waiting to see what happened. They looked up when the front doors of the castle burst open, but were confused to see Ludwig and the Magikoopa walking out.

"What's going on?" Aire asked.

"Yeah! Where's Jasmine?" Iris added.

"My girlfriend returned home. Now since you four decided to be heroes..." Ludwig took out his wand and levitated the four monarchs, making them scream.

"What are you doing?!" Tempest asked.

"You'll be join Skylar and the others in the dungeon." Ludwig laughed.

"What? No! Put us down now!" Zephyr shouted. Ludwig ignored them as he brought the four monarchs inside and took them to the dungeon. He threw them inside of the cell next to the emperor's and his family. Ludwig locked the door to the cell and laughed again as he left the dungeon.
