Maisie held her breath as Alfred unlocked her old mahogany bedroom door. He pushed it open, reached in to flip up the light switch, and stepped aside for her to enter. Nodding her thanks, she entered and dropped her two duffels to the side. After carrying them upstairs, Dick had quickly disposed of them in front of her door and left to go to his own room. When she straightened, she couldn't help her mouth from dropping a little in shock.

Her room was exactly how it was when she and her mother had left almost sixteen years ago when Maisie was two. The tall walls were still painted lavender with clusters of white and pink Japanese cherry blossoms creating patches. The carpeted floor was a blemish-free cream and no piece of furniture had a speck of dust, no doubt from Alfred's special attention. A long chandelier with warm white lights dangled from the ceiling and casted a soft glow on the whole room.

On the left side of the room was her old bed made from the same mahogany wood from which her door was made. The queen bed still displayed the thick, soft lavender comforter her small figure had drowned under when she was a child. It was covered in pillows in different shades of purple, white, and pink and various versions of stuffed pandas. On either side of the bed were nightstands holding a small, white round lamp.

On the farthest wall were three tall bay windows. She pulled aside cream curtains that matched the carpet to frame the sides of each window. The one on the left and the right were angled, giving her a view of her mother's old garden to the left of the house from the right window and the front of the house from the center and left windows. Each bench of a bay window had a pink seat cushion and was decorated with more stuffed animals. Apparently, she really enjoyed stuffed animals when she was two.

Against the right wall was her grandma's writing desk with different pictures of her family when Maisie was younger. And on either side of the desk were two bookshelves still holding the stories her parents had read to her at night. In the corner closest to the door was another mahogany door that led to her bathroom and walk-in closet.

A throat clearing interrupted her observations. "Master Bruce left everything the way it was when you and Mistress Ellen left."

"I can see that." Maisie took one more glance around her old room and blocked the old memories that tried to surface in her mind.

"If you would like to change anything, Master Bruce is planning a trip to the store tomorrow morning and will pick it up for you."

"Thank you, Alfred." Maisie smiled at the old butler. "It's nice to see a friendly face that I can trust."

"It is good to see you as well. Now, if you will excuse me, I will start dinner and leave you to settle in." He pulled her suitcase in and left it next to her duffel bags. He gave a short bow and left, closing the heavy door behind him.

Maisie turned back to the room and sighed. She knew there would be no settling in tonight. She looked at the duffel holding her costume, quiver, and arrows. She walked towards it, unzipped it, and pulled out her laptop. She walked towards her bed, flopped on it, and opened her laptop. She began to hack her way into Felicity's network in Star City. She managed to crack the network and began looking at the files she had saved on Maisie's mom. Tonight is going to be a long night, she thought.
