Chapter 4: Confidence:

A Tale of Two Witches:

Julie-Su was trying to practice with her magic... but she's having trouble. "I just know I'm gonna fail," says Julie-Su, "maybe I just need some fresh air."

. . .

Julie-Su then steps outside, and she sees Day's Uncle Fester, trying to fix his car.

"Hey Fester," says Julie-Su.

"Hey Julie-Su," says Fester. His car then explodes. "Just once, I wish it didn't do that, it hurts!"

"It's one of those Addams people," says a monster.

"Why can't they be spooky and kooky like the rest of us," asks another monster.

The two monsters then walk away.

"Doesn't it bother you that your family's not like everyone else in Grim Hills," asks Julie-Su.

"So, we're not a bunch of scary monsters," says Fester, "maybe those guys should be less judgie. So, what's bothering you?"

"Well, Witchmaster Fox..." Fester faints because he has a crush on Witchmaster Fox. "Maybe I'll just walk away."

. . .

"I know Sally's going to graduate," says Julie-Su, "she's already a great witch and me, I can't do anything right. If only I had a wand like the one Witchmaster Fox has."

"You don't need the wand," says a talking flower, "you can be a great witch all on your own!"

"Maybe you're right," says Julie-Su, "maybe I just need... AAAGGGHHHH! TALKING FLOWER!" Julie-Su then runs away.

"Sure, when trees talk, it's just part of this town's spooky theme, but when flowers talk, that's where you scream. Hey, that rhymes."
