Chapter Six

Abducted

"You survived? Impressive, but it was foolish of you to come running back here." Vader calmly spoke as she gripped the gang leader in a force choke and held him off the ground.

"Sh-she...has...a weakness." The leader's strained voice spoke as he clawed at his throat. Vader loosened her force grip slightly.

"A weakness? Elaborate, and if it's good I may spare your life." Vader instructed in her usual calm tone.

"The family she's staying with, she's protective of them. They have two children, we can use those kids to bend her to our will. She'll do anything to keep them safe." The leader explained as Vader continued to hold him in a loose force choke. Vader released her grip on the man and he collapsed to the ground, gasping for air.

"Very well Kira, you may try this idea of yours. However, should you fail me again, you will not survive to fail me a third time." Vader replied before turning on her heels and walking away.

"Andy, Nima, come on you two! You don't wanna be late the first day back after break!" Tann yelled from the bottom of the steps before walking into the kitchen.

"Mmm. I don't wanna go to school today." Nima groaned as she walked out of her room.

"Me either, school is lame." Andy replied as he walked out of his own room.

"I know how you both feel, I always hated studying as well. But it's important to do it, there were plenty of times that I called on the knowledge I'd gained from my studies to help me during the war. It may all seem useless to you right now, but there's no telling if you'll ever need what you learn in school for the real world." Ahsoka replied as she slowly walked out her room.

"You're not acting all weird anymore." Nima said with a smile as she looked up at Ahsoka.

"Weird? When was I acting weird?" Ahsoka asked as she walked alongside Nima.

"Yesterday. You were talking funny and walking on your hands and legs." Andy answered as he started walking downstairs.

"Not again." Ahsoka groaned as she followed Andy down the steps.

"There you two are, and Ahsoka's up as well. Good morning Ahsoka, how are you feeling?" Tann asked with a smile as everyone walked into the kitchen.

"A little embarrassed to be honest, Andy told me about my behavior yesterday, and I'd like to apologize for any trouble my feral side may have caused any of you. Please forgive me, I don't have control over when it comes or goes." Ahsoka apologized as she lightly bowed to everyone.

"Oh sweetie, you don't have to apologize for anything. Even in your feral state, as you call it, you were a very good guest. Plus it was rather funny and cute the way you behaved, it reminded me a little of when these two were toddlers." Tann replied with a smile.

"Thank you ma'am, I'm glad that I wasn't too much trouble for any of you." Ahsoka said with a smile as she sat down at the table.

"How are your injuries feeling, any better?" Al asked as he set a glass of water in front of Ahsoka.

"A little, walking is much easier today than it's been the past few days; and my head and chest don't hurt nearly as much as they have been." Ahsoka answered as she sipped some of the water.

"Alright everyone, breakfast is served. I hope you like blue milk pancakes and syrup. I was careful not to add chocolate chips to yours because the documentary I saw a while ago said that chocolate's very toxic to your species. I didn't know if that was true or not, but I didn't wanna take any chances." Tann informed with a smile.

"Thank you ma'am, it's definitely true. Chocolate is extremely toxic to my species, a single piece makes us very sick, and it's been witnessed that less than four ounces can be fatal if not treated fast enough. Though that varies based on the size and age of the togruta." Ahsoka explained as she took a bite of her pancakes.

"That's awful, you really can't eat chocolate?" Nima asked as she stared at Ahsoka.

"Nope, not a single piece, I get really sick if I do. But I don't mind, I can eat just about anything else though, including most flavors of ice cream." Ahsoka replied with a smile.

"We love ice cream!" Andy cheered as he also started eating.

"Well maybe we can all get some after school today, I heard that scoops's parlor just got a fresh shipment the other day. Thank goodness the badlands goons enjoy ice cream enough to let shipments come in, though they do take a cut of mister Wanko's profits as quote on quote protection money." Tann replied as she sat down across from Al.

"His parlor is called scoops, but the owner's name is Wanko?" Ahsoka asked in a slightly confused tone.

"Well his real name is Wilfred Wanko, but due to the speed at which he scoops ice cream, the local kids started calling him scoops. Everyone loved the nickname so much that he changed the name of his business from Wanko's ice cream shack to scoops. It rolls off the tongue easier as well, a little catchier." Al explained with a smile.

"My husband the ice cream connoisseur, he's the only person in town who's tried all sixty-six available flavors." Tann chuckled as she looked at Al.

"Yep, and when all this junk is over and he adds more flavors, I'll try all of those as well." Al chuckled as he finished his breakfast.

"That sounds like a lot of fun." Ahsoka replied with a smile.

"I wanna order sixty-six flavors of ice cream." Nima said with a smile.

"Me too! Do you wanna order sixty-six flavors of ice cream to Ahsoka?" Andy asked with a smile.

"Oh no, no. I hate anything that comes even remotely close to being called order sixty-six. The last order sixty-six I experienced came from Palpatine, and every clone I encountered with the exception of one or two tried to kill me." Ahsoka replied with a shudder.

"I thought the clones were your allies though?" Al asked in a confused tone.

"They are, but each trooper has a set of orders that they have to follow. Order sixty-six is a clone command that's intended purpose was to be used against Jedi that betrayed the republic, Jedi like Barriss, who now goes by Vader. She would've been marked for termination by order sixty-six. However, a Sith attempted to use the order to wipe out the Jedi, but thankfully my friends and I were able to stop it in time." Ahsoka explained with a stern expression.

"Oh my God. We never heard about any of that." Tann quietly said as she stared at Ahsoka with a shocked expression.

"That's good, if word of that got out people would stop trusting the clones. But they're good soldiers and better friends, the new chancellor, my mother, dealt with the problem swiftly once she got into office. The order still exists, but the treason must either be proven in court, or witnessed in the field. Then and only then can the order be carried out. If it happens in battle then video evidence will be shown to the Jedi council, who then determine if the decision was justified or not. If it was then nothing else happens, if it wasn't then both the one who gave the order, as well as those who carried it out are court marshaled. From that point on it becomes an issue for the senate." Ahsoka explained with a straight face.

"Wow, I knew that Senator Amidala was the right choice to succeed Palpatine. I'm glad we voted for her." Tann said with a smile.

"Oh crud, it's already seven twenty?! You two best get going or you're gonna be late for school." Al instructed as he looked at his watch.

"Okay, bye mom, bye dad, bye Ahsoka!" Nima said with a wave as she ran towards the door.

"Bye!" Andy also said as he followed his sister.

"Have a good day kids!" Tann yelled back as her children left.

"Welp, I'd best get out to the field and bring in the crop, the market opens tomorrow at six a.m." Al said with a smile as he stood from the table.

"Alright dear, I'll take care of the dishes and stuff. See you at lunch." Tann replied as Al walked out the door.

"Is there anything I can help you with?" Ahsoka asked as she slowly stood up.

"That's sweet of you Ahsoka, but you need to focus on healing. You're still limping quite a bit, you need to relax and elevate that leg of yours." Tann answered as she handed Ahsoka a glass of water. "Keep up your fluids as well, it gets hot in these parts. Or the whole planet gets hot I should say, Geonosis isn't the warmest planet in the galaxy, but it's certainly up there on the list." Tann chuckled as she started clearing the table.

"You should see Mustafar, now that's a hot planet." Ahsoka giggled as she limped into the living room with her water and laid down on the couch.

"I've heard, is it really all lava?" Tann asked as she continued cleaning up breakfast.

"Pretty much, that and rock." Ahsoka answered in a joyful tone.

"You've been there?" Tann asked in a surprised tone.

"Once, it wasn't a very pleasant experience. I almost died, thank God my padawan was there. She saved my life." Ahsoka answered as she closed her eyes. She fell asleep less than a minute later.

"That was lucky, your padawan must be pretty strong." Tann replied as she finished cleaning up. "Ahsoka?" Tann asked with some worry when Ahsoka didn't reply. "Ahsoka?" Tann asked as she walked into the living room, smiling when she saw Ahsoka asleep on the couch. "You get some rest, your body needs it." Tann whispered as she covered Ahsoka with a blanket, then left the room. While Ahsoka rested and Al and Tann went about their days, Andy and Nima were hurrying to school.

"Hurry up Nima, we're gonna be late!" Andy yelled as he ran faster towards school.

"Andy slow down, I can't run as fast as you can." Nima replied as she tried to keep up with her older brother.

"Well isn't this adorable, two children so dedicated to their education; it warms my heart to see such determination in such young children." A woman said with a smile as she pulled her speeder up alongside Al and Nima.

"Mama and papa tell us that we need to do good in school so that we can have good futures." Nima replied as she stopped to rest.

"How can you learn anything if you're so tired from walking all that way though? Doesn't a bus come and pick you up?" The woman asked with a sad expression.

"No, the badlands are all over our area, the bus drivers are too scared to come out by us. So we've been walking ever since then, normally we leave earlier, but we didn't get up early enough today." Andy explained as he stared at the woman.

"Well don't you worry kids, I'll get you to school in no time at all. Hop in." The woman instructed with a smile.

"Thank you ma'am, but mommy and daddy say not to go anywhere with strangers." Nima replied as she started walking with Andy again.

"Oh come on, what mommy and daddy don't know won't hurt them. Just hop in and I'll drop you off at your school." The woman instructed in a slightly aggressive tone.

"Sorry ma'am, but we can walk. Come on Nima." Andy replied as he grabbed his sister's hand, then started walking a little faster.

"You two aren't going anywhere." The woman said as she pulled a blaster out of her center console. Andy and Nima looked back at her and froze. "I was trying to make this fast and easy for you stubborn brats, but now we have to do things the ugly way. Get in the speeder, now." The woman ordered as she pointed the blaster at Andy's head.

"It'll be okay Nima, let's go." Andy quietly said as he walked towards the speeder with Nima, then got in it with her.

"There, now that wasn't so bad, was it?" The woman asked as she laid her blaster on her lap, then started driving.

"Where are you taking us?" Andy asked as he held Nima close to himself.

"My boss wanted me to bring you two brats in, don't worry though. She won't hurt you, she needs you alive." The woman replied as she continued driving. Clueless as to what had just happened to her children, Tann was putting the last breakfast dish away when she heard a light groan from Ahsoka in the living room.

"Are you okay in there?" Tann asked as she put a glass away. Tann decided to go check on Ahsoka when she didn't answer. "Ahsoka?" Tann asked as she stepped into the living room and looked at Ahsoka, to her surprise Ahsoka was still asleep, but she was sweating and mumbling something. She was also starting to toss and turn a little bit. "Oh Ahsoka, I've seen this before; Andy and Nima do this when they have bad dreams. Are you having a bad dream? It's okay, whatever it is can't hurt you, it's just in your head sweetie." Tann cooed as she gently placed her hand on Ahsoka's arm.

"Has. Has children." Ahsoka quietly said as she tossed a bit more in her sleep. "Vader. Vader." Ahsoka quietly spoke as she continued to toss in her sleep. "No. No. Barriss!" Ahsoka screamed as she sat up, instinctively grabbing for the lightsabers she didn't have. Tann jumped back in a fright at Ahsoka's outburst.

"What happened?! Are you alright?!" Tann asked as she stared down at Ahsoka.

"It was a vision, she took them! Vader took Andy and Nima!" Ahsoka replied as she stared at Tann.

"What?! What do you mean she took my children?! Who's she, what would she want with my babies?!" Tann asked as she stared at Ahsoka with a horrified expression.

"This is all my fault, I should never have stayed with any of you, she's targeting this family to get to me! What have I done?!" Ahsoka yelled as she stared down at her lap.

"Ahsoka relax, take a breath. You probably just had a nightmare; remember, you have some head trauma." Tann encouraged as she gently grabbed Ahsoka's hand and squeezed it.

"No, no it was a vision. I know, I know that she took them. It's all my fault, I never should've stayed here, I put you all in danger!" Ahsoka replied as she quickly stood up.

"Ahsoka that's ridiculous. I'll prove it to you, why don't we hop in the speeder and take a ride up to the school, I'm sure everything's fine." Tann suggested with a smile.

"Okay, maybe you're right. My head's been messed up for a while now, especially after what Vader did to me." Ahsoka replied as she rubbed her head a little bit.

"See, even you admit that you may not be thinking clearly. Come on, let's go take a ride up to the school." Tann said with a smile as she helped Ahsoka out to the speeder. The drive was short and quiet as Ahsoka tried to calm herself, she centered herself in the force and tried to connect to Andy and Nima through it, but all she felt was a cold darkness, like a wall that was separating her from them. "Alright, here it is." Tann said with a smile as she pulled up to the school, what she saw alarmed her to say the least. Several police cars were spread around the parking lot, and a few of them were standing guard outside. "Wait here." Tann instructed as she got out of her speeder and walked up to the first officer she saw.

"Misses Usho, I wasn't expecting to see you here. Did the officers already speak with you at your home?" The officer asked as he stared at Tann.

"Talk to me about what? What's going on here?" Tann asked as she stared at the officer. The officer stared back at her for a moment before speaking.

"Come inside, we need to talk." The officer instructed as he started leading Tann into the school. The officer lead Tann into the office and gestured for her to sit down.

"What's going on around here? Why are there so many police officers?" Tann asked in a nervous tone.

"Misses Usho, I regret to inform you that neither of your children showed up for school today. The principal knows that your children are good students that would never ditch, and when she didn't receive a call from either you or your husband excusing their absence, she called us. On the way here one of our units found these on the side of the road." The officer explained before picking two backpacks up and showing them to Tann.

"These...these are my children's bags? What happened to my babies?! Where are my babies?!" Tann shouted as she grabbed the bags and hugged them.

"We believe they've been abducted, but the only clue we found other than the bags was this." The officer replied as he handed Tann a note.

"We have your children, the togruta comes alone to the canyon or they die. If the police or anyone else are seen snooping around or setting up any kind of rescue attempt, they die." Tann read as she started to cry.

"We don't know who the kidnappers are or where this togruta is that they want, but we're doing everything we can to figure it out." The officer explained in a calm tone.

"The togruta's in my speeder." Tann replied before standing up and running outside. "Ahsoka!" Tann shouted as she rushed out of the school.

"What happened?" Ahsoka asked as she stared at Tann.

"They took my babies! They took them because of you!" Tann cried as she glared at Ahsoka.

"What?!" Ahsoka asked as Tann threw the note at her. Ahsoka quickly read the note, then she crumpled it up and threw it on the ground. "I'm borrowing your speeder, if they want me then they'll get me. I'm sorry that I dragged your family into my problems, I'll save your children if it's the last thing I do." Ahsoka replied before moving into the driver's seat, then speeding away.

"I believe that. Good luck Ahsoka, save my children." Tann whispered as she watched Ahsoka drive away. Ahsoka sped to the outskirts of town when she noticed several speeders and bikes blocking her path.

"So you've decided to cooperate?" A woman asked as she hopped off her speeder bike.

"I have, if Vader wants me then she'll get me. But I want proof of life before doing anything." Ahsoka replied as she glared at the woman.

"Our boss figured you would, so here." The woman replied as she activated a holo com. An image of Andy and Nima appeared, they were tied up, but thankfully unharmed.

"Andy, Nima, are you two alright?" Ahsoka asked as she stared at the image. They didn't respond though.

"Our boss muted their end, we can hear them, but they can't hear us." The woman informed as she put the com away.

"I assume you mean Vader." Ahsoka spat as she glared at the woman.

"Yeah. Now hold out your hands, make any sudden moves and my buddy there presses one button on his wrist device. It's a signal to lord Vader to execute the hostages. So don't try anything funny, their lives depend on it." The woman instructed as she pulled out a pair of handcuffs. They weren't force restraints, but they knew that Ahsoka wouldn't try anything with Andy and Nima's lives on the line anyway. "Let's go." The woman instructed as she pushed Ahsoka into the speeder she'd taken there, then she and the rest of the gang drove Ahsoka deep into the canyon where she'd originally escaped from. "Out." The woman instructed as she pulled up to the cave Vader had originally held Ahsoka in. Ahsoka slowly exited the speeder and walked inside.

"Ahsoka!" Andy yelled with joy as he and Nima watched Ahsoka walk past them.

"It'll be okay, you two just let me handle this." Ahsoka said with a small smile as she looked at them both.

"Spoken like a true Jedi." Vader said as she walked into the room. "Welcome back Ahsoka, did you enjoy your time with that nice family?" Vader asked as she stopped less than a foot away from Ahsoka.

"Alright Barriss, you got me here like you wanted. Now let them go." Ahsoka demanded as she glared at Vader. Vader stared at her for a moment, then she pulled a blaster from one of the gang member's holsters and shot Ahsoka in the leg with it.

"Ahsoka!" Andy and Nima shouted with worry as they stared at Ahsoka.

"You are in no position to be making demands of me, Ahsoka Tano." Vader replied as she gave the blaster back to the gang member.

"F-forgive me, Vader. Please, let the children go. They've done nothing wrong, I'm the one you want. Please, let them go." Ahsoka quietly said as she looked down at the ground.

"Not until you do as I say. There is a chair behind you with force restraints built into it, sit down in it." Vader ordered as she pointed at a solid wooden chair with some grey metal rings around the armrests and front legs. Ahsoka slowly walked over to the chair and sat in it, then Vader used the force to activate the restraints.

"Okay, I did as you asked. Now please, let them go, they have nothing to do with this." Ahsoka quietly said as she stared at Vader with a pleading expression.

"I think I'll hold onto these two for a while longer. You may need some motivation to stay in line during our activities." Vader replied as she looked at Andy and Nima.

"NO! Barriss you can't do this to them, they've done nothing wrong! The old Barriss I know would never put children's lives in danger for any reason whatsoever, not even your ideals and beliefs about the war would've been enough for you to harm children! Barriss please, let..." Ahsoka begged before finding herself in a force choke.

"Barriss Offee is dead, I killed her back on that frozen wasteland of a planet! So it doesn't matter what she would have done, she was weak. But I am not." Vader replied before releasing her force choke on Ahsoka. Ahsoka gasped and coughed as she quickly sucked in air. "Now then, let the fun begin." Vader calmly said before walking away.

"Are...are you both...okay?" Ahsoka asked as she looked at Andy and Nima

"Uh huh." Andy answered as he hugged Nima.

"I'm glad, and I'm sorry that I brought this on you and your family. I never meant for this to happen, I shouldn't have stayed with you guys, I put you all in danger. I'm so sorry." Ahsoka apologized in a sad tone.

"We liked having you stay with us, you were fun to be around." Andy replied with a small smile.

"Yeah, and you were really nice to us. Plus you were funny, especially when you were all wild and stuff." Nima replied with a giggle.

"I'm sorry that this happened to you both, but I promise you, no matter what happens, I'll keep you both safe." Ahsoka quietly spoke with a small smile.

"Is that so?" Vader asked as she walked back into the room.

"It is, I would die for these children." Ahsoka replied as she glared at Vader.

"Be careful Ahsoka, I might just test that theory." Vader replied as she pointed at Ahsoka.

"It is no theory, it's an indisputable fact! I will die before I let you harm a hair on either of them, Barriss! That's a kriffing promise." Ahsoka replied through gritted teeth.

"Then we shall test your resolve, my old friend." Vader said as she held her hand out towards Nima. Nima stared at Vader for a second, then she started gasping and grabbing at her neck.

"Nima?" Andy asked as he stared at his sister, who unknown to him, was being force choked by Vader.

"Barriss! Let her go! I'm the one you want! Let her go! Let her go right now!" Ahsoka screamed as she thrashed around, trying to break her restraints.

"I seem to be harming her without any retaliation from you. Are you going to do something, or am I going to kill her?" Vader asked as she tightened her grip around Nima a little more. Ahsoka thrashed and yanked at her restraints, cutting her writs and ankles up as she did so. But then something happened, something that even Vader never would've seen coming.

"Grrr! S-smart...Ahsoka weak. Need...me to...save kids." Ahsoka groaned before pressing her thumb against the side of the restraint holding her hand, then as hard as she could, she yanked her hand back as far as she could while simultaneously twisting it as much as she could. The force was enough to dislocate her thumb, allowing her to remove her hand from the restraint.

"Impressive, most impressive." Vader said as she let go of Nima, who gasped before taking in large breaths.

"Barriss...hurt kids, Barriss... Barriss... DIE!" Ahsoka screamed before breaking free from the chair, then she leapt at Vader and slammed her to the ground.

"AH!" Vader yelled in surprise as Ahsoka toppled her to the ground.

"Barriss bad now! Barriss hurt kids, torture Ahsoka! Barriss not redeemable! Barriss die!" Ahsoka shouted as she continued slashing and beating Vader with all of her strength.

"Enough!" Vader shouted before force pushing Ahsoka off of her. "Don't just stand there you bums, kill her!" Vader ordered as she stared the bad lands members.

"R-right. Come on, let's get this animal!" The leader shouted as he aimed his blaster at Ahsoka. Ahsoka let out a loud hiss before charging at him with a force propelled dash. He hardly had time to blink before his head was torn from his body.

"Holly shit! She's a monster! A kriffing monster!" One of the other members screamed as he started blasting at Ahsoka. Ahsoka force pushed him so hard that he flew out the cave entrance and slammed into a rock. He hit the rock so hard that his entire lower half was splattered against it, leaving his upper half to tumble over the edge of the cliff.

"Sorry lord Vader, even you ain't as scary as that thing! Retreat! Retreat!" One of the members shouted before running out of the cave, followed by the rest of the gang.

"Ahsoka kill you now, you hurt Ahsoka badly. But you take kids, that even worse. Ahsoka make you pay." Ahsoka replied as she glared at Vader.

"Revenge is not..." Vader started to say, until Ahsoka slammed into her like a rocket, knocking both of them to the ground.

"Ahsoka not care! You bad woman, bad woman die!" Ahsoka screamed before throwing a volley of hard slashes at Vader, clawing her suit apart and damaging her breathing device. Ahsoka raised her hand to deliver a killing blow, but she stopped as she looked down at Vader. She'd slashed a large chunk from her helmet, leaving half of Barriss's burned and disfigured face visible. "No. I... I won't kill you. Not again." Ahsoka quietly said as she lowered her hand. "I left you behind once Barriss, I won't leave you again." Ahsoka quietly said as she slowly got off of Vader, then held her hand out to her. "Please Barriss, it's not too late for you. Come home with me, despite everything, I miss you. You were my best friend, Barriss; and I'm sorry that I left you." Ahsoka quietly said as she waited for Vader to take her open hand. Vader stared up at Ahsoka, then she slowly reached her hand out. Ahsoka smiled as she took Vader's hand.

"Ahsoka." Vader quietly said as she gently squeezed Ahsoka's hand. "Your compassion is unrivaled." Vader said with a smile as she pulled herself to her feet, then hugged Ahsoka. "It will be your downfall." Vader quietly said before driving a fist into Ahsoka's abdomen. Ahsoka gasped as the wind was forced from her lungs, then she collapsed to her knees. "You were always a fool, so quick to trust others, a strong believer in your ways. Not the Jedi ways though, but your twisted version of them!" Vader shouted before slamming her foot down on Ahsoka's back. "I can't believe I ever considered you a friend!" Vader shouted before kicking Ahsoka onto her side, then delivering a series of kicks to her chest and stomach. "You were such a tease! A little skank, prancing around in your padawan outfit, then in that stupid open faced top! The only Jedi I knew that dressed sluttier than you was Ayla Secura! But I fell for you like a fool, and you strung me along like a lurca hound on a leash!" Vader screamed before delivering a hard stomp to Ahsoka's sternum, causing her to cough up blood. "I'm going to kill you, Ahsoka! I'm going to kill you, and then I'm going to kill those kids, along with the rest of this miserable town!" Vader yelled before sitting on top of Ahsoka, then she started brutally beating her with her fists.

"You won't...you won't touch them. I'll make...sure of that." Ahsoka gasped as Vader halted her punches for a brief moment. Ahsoka's faced was bruised and swollen, and it was covered in blood.

"You'll do nothing." Vader replied before raising her fist to Ahsoka again. She was about to punch her, but she was suddenly hit in the head with a rock. "Ah! What the hell?!" Vader shouted as she looked in the direction the rock had come from.

"Leave her alone!" Andy shouted as he stared at Vader.

"You little brat, I'm going to make you pay for that." Vader said with a wheeze as she stood up and started walking towards Andy.

"Over my dead body." Ahsoka groaned as she rolled onto her stomach, then held her hand out, grabbing Vader in a force choke and squeezing. "B-both of you...need to run. Run away." Ahsoka quietly said as she stared at Andy and Nima.

"But what about you?" Andy asked as he stared at Ahsoka.

"D-don't w-worry about...m-me. Get yourselves...to safety." Ahsoka instructed as her grip started to weaken.

"We'll bring help for you, we promise." Andy said as he grabbed Nima and ran with her.

"Good kids." Ahsoka quietly said as her hand fell to the ground. Vader was gasping and wheezing as she dropped to a knee, then after a moment she looked back at Ahsoka.

"I'm going to kill you, slowly and painfully. Then I'm going after those pathetic brats." Vader snapped as she slowly walked towards Ahsoka.

"You're not...going anywhere...but hell." Ahsoka said with a small grin. Vader stared down at her with an enraged expression, but then she gasped as the ceiling above her began cracking. "Well Barriss, we were...buried alive on this...planet once before, let's...repeat history." Ahsoka said with a smirk before pulling the ceiling down, burying her and Vader under thousands of pounds of rock. Andy and Nima both looked back when they heard the sound of the rocks tumbling and crashing down.

"Come on, we have to go." Andy said as he grabbed Nima's hand and started running with her.

"But what about Ahsoka?" Nima asked as she looked back at the now collapsed cave.

"She told us to run, so that's what we're going to do. We'll find help back in town." Andy replied as he continued running, but he stopped dead when a speeder bike pulled out in front of them. Andy pushed Nima behind him in an effort to protect her from the gang member.

"Hop on." The man instructed as he looked at the two children.

"No! You're a bad guy, you're one of the people that kidnapped us!" Andy replied as he and Nima slowly backed away.

"I know, and I'm sorry. But this picture isn't as black and white as it seems, I was as much a pawn in Vader's game as you two were. My gang may be bad, but kidnapping children crosses a line even for us. We only did what we did because Vader threatened our lives, we had no idea what she had planned for you and that togruta. We're sorry, I'm sorry. I'm here to make a mends, hop on and we'll head back to town; Vader's strong, but she's not as strong as our town." The man instructed as he held his hand out to Andy. Andy looked at Nima with a sad expression.

"Ahsoka needs us, she'd do it for us." Nima quietly said as she squeezed Andy's hand. Andy let out a small sigh.

"Okay, but no tricks." Andy replied as he grabbed the man's hand.

"Promise." The man replied as he helped Andy and Nima onto the speeder bike, then he sped back to town.
