Chapter Nine
Reunited and it Feels So Good
Unknown to Ahsoka or anyone else, her friends and family were on their way long before any transmission had been sent, thanks to something that had happened less than a day earlier.
(Ten hours earlier)
"Remember people, we need him alive if we're going to find Ahsoka." Sarah whispered as she checked the charge on her blaster.
"What about anyone else in the building?" Padmé asked as she looked at Sarah.
"Unless they're armed ya treat 'em as an unknown, that means subdue and detain. Girls, use yer x-ray vision and tell me what ya see." Sarah instructed as she looked at the puffs.
"Right." Blossom whispered before she and her sisters all stared at the building in front of them.
"I see three tangles sitting at a table playing cards in the first room on the right." Bubbles informed as she stared at the wall.
"Tangos, Bubbles. Three tangos. What else do ya gals see?" Sarah asked in a calm tone.
"I've got one coming down the steps just in front of this door, and a second one in the kitchen at the far left end of the building." Buttercup said as she glared at the person she saw.
"Do any of you see Bane?" Anakin asked as he clutched his lightsaber in his hand.
"He's the blue one with red eyes and a cowboy hat, right?" Blossom asked as she continued to scan the building.
"That's him, do you see him anywhere?" Anakin asked in a hopeful tone.
"Yeah, basement level towards the far left side. Looks like a storage room of some sort." Blossom answered before looking back at Anakin.
"Alright, you all know what to do. We need Bane alive, everyone else is of no use to us." Padmé informed in an angry tone.
"That may be true dear, but that is not an excuse for any of you to play executioner. Kill only if you have no other choice." Anakin replied as he put his hand on Padmé's shoulder.
"Anakin's right, we can't let our emotions cloud our judgment. Even if that blue milk looking motherkriffer did take my baby." Padmé said through gritted teeth as she clutched her blaster in a death grip.
"Easy Padmé, he's no good to us dead. Plus what if he handed her off to someone else here, if we kill the wrong person then we might never find her." Mercury informed as she placed her hand on Padmé's.
"You're right, you're all right. Fine, let's do this with minimal deaths." Padmé replied before taking a deep breath.
"Allow me to take care of this, masters." Bubbles said with a smile as she floated over to a dumpster and dug an old hole covered blanket from it, then she wrapped it around herself and floated over to the door.
"What are you doing?! They're gonna see you!" Obi-Wan quietly yelled as he and everyone else stared at Bubbles.
"I know, trust me though." Bubbles replied before throwing her lightsabers to Obi-Wan. Bubbles landed on the doorstep and gently knocked on the door.
"What is she doing?" Anakin asked as he looked at Obi-Wan.
"I'm not too sure, but we should trust her, she's never let us down before." Obi-Wan replied as he and everyone else hid. The door slowly opened to reveal Bane's droid companion.
"Um, e-excuse me mister robot, but do you have a com I can use? I lost my mommy in the big crowds, and I'm scared and cold. Please mister robot guy." Bubbles begged with some tears.
"Todo, who's at the door?" Someone asked from deeper in the building.
"A lost child that wants to use our coms." Todo answered as one of the famous walnut people approached Bubbles. Bubbles grinned before grabbing Todo with the force and throwing him far into the distance behind her, then she quickly waved her hand at the walnut person.
"You will take me to Bane now." Bubbles instructed in a firm tone.
"I will take you to Bane now." The man replied before leading Bubbles inside.
"Oh she's good, she's very good." Anakin chuckled as he watched the door close.
"I'm a bit jealous to be honest, why didn't we think of such an obvious tactic?" Obi-Wan asked as he looked at Anakin.
"Because you're grown ups, and no one in their right mind would let two strange adults into their home like that. But a child like us is unthreatening, in fact, most people are compelled to help kids like us. It's in most people's nature to watch out for children like us." Blossom explained with a smile.
"That's devilish, using a person's instincts against them like that. I like the way you girls think." Anakin replied with a grin.
"Quiet, Bubs is about to see the blue guy." Buttercup informed as she tracked Bubbles with her x-ray vision.
"Todo?!" Bane shouted from the basement.
"Sorry mister Bane, but he had to step out for a bit." Bubbles said in a cold tone as she walked around the corner.
"Who are you?! What are you doing here, you pathetic child?" Bane asked as he stood up and pulled his blaster out.
"We'll have none of that, it's rude to point blasters at people." Bubbles said as she used the force to rip the blaster from Bane's hand.
"Jedi!" Bane yelled before jumping to his feet.
"Sit down!" Bubbles shouted before force pushing Bane back into his chair.
"Little lady, do you know who I am? I kill Jedi like you for fun, you'd better run while I'm still in a good mood." Bane instructed as he glared at Bubbles.
"I'll leave, after we talk." Bubbles replied before sitting in the seat across from Bane.
"What makes you think I'd ever talk to you? Your simple mind tricks won't do you any good, I'm not as weak minded as those idiots upstairs are." Bane said with a smirk as he leaned back in his chair and put his feet on the table.
"I'm aware of that, which is why I'd like to make you an offer. You're a bounty hunter, correct?" Bubbles asked with a straight face.
"So what if I am?" Bane asked as in a dismissive tone.
"So you do tasks for money, correct?" Bubbles asked with a grin.
"That's the nature of my job, what's your point kid?" Bane asked as he casually lowered his right hand.
"What if I paid you for a simple job, one so simple that you wouldn't even have to move from that chair to do it?" Bubbles asked with a grin. Bane slowly raised his hand onto his lap.
"I'm listening." Bane replied as he stared at Bubbles.
"Five hundred credits just to tell me where master Tano is. Half now, and half when we find her, you don't even have to come with. What do you say Bane, pretty good pay for almost no effort?" Bubbles asked with a grin.
"Make it a thousand and you've got a deal." Bane replied in a calm tone.
"Fine, five hundred for the location, the rest once we find her." Bubbles said as she tossed some credits to Bane.
"She's on Geonosis, here's the location of the drop." Bane informed as he handed Bubbles a small data pad.
"Pleasure doing business with you." Bubbles said with a grin before leaving. Bane grinned back as he watched her leave. Bubbles floated upstairs and casually left through the front door, not one person in the whole building dared to touch her after what she'd done to poor Todo.
"Ha ha! That's our Bubs for you, you go sis!" Buttercup cheered as Bubbles walked out of the building.
"Very impressive Bubbles, what did you find out?" Obi-Wan asked as he looked down at Bubbles.
"Master Tano's on a planet called Geonosis, here are the coordinates." Bubbles informed as she handed the data pad to Obi-Wan.
"Thank you Bubbles! Now then, let's burn this place to the ground." Padmé said with a grin as she looked at Rei.
"No honey, we got what we wanted. Let's just go get Ahsoka, we'll deal with Bane and them later, come on." Anakin replied as he gently grabbed Padmé's hand and started walking her towards the speeder they'd taken there.
(Present time)
"We're about to drop out of hyperspace, is everyone ready?" Anakin asked as he turned around and looked at everyone.
"Now remember, though we have the coordinates from Bane, that was her known location several days ago, she could've been moved by now. So once we get to this location we'll have to be extra careful with whatever we find, we don't want to contaminate any evidence we may find, it could be our best chance of finding her current location." Ami instructed as she stared at everyone.
"We'll have to think like mister Gibbs, good thing you remember all of his rules." Usagi replied with a giggle.
"Yay, we get to be detectives!" All three puffs cheered with excitement.
"This isn't a game, there's no telling what could've happened to Ahsoka! Do you three understand that?!" Padmé shouted from the cockpit. All three puffs were startled by Padmé's outburst and quickly sunk into their seats.
"Padmé, you have to calm down. Remember, Ahsoka's strong and capable, we need to have faith in her. She's..." Anakin said, until he suddenly stopped and looked around a little.
"I sense it to." Obi-Wan said with a smile.
"Master Tano's alive! But I sense her much further from the location Bane gave us." Bubbles informed with a confused expression.
"As do I, hold on people." Anakin instructed as he dropped the ship out of hyperspace. There were a few light beeps from a device on the center counsel of the ship.
"An incoming transmission?" Obi-Wan asked as he pressed a button on the counsel.
"Hello there, my name's Emily, I've sent this transmission in the hopes of reaching any republic units. A Jedi was brought to our planet a while ago and she has no means of leaving the planet, we request that any republic forces send a shuttle at once. Thanks, and have a nice day." Emily's voice came through the ship's speakers before fading away.
"Short, sweet, and to the point. I like this girl already. Artoo, home in on that signal and tell me the coordinates." Anakin instructed as he started flying towards the planet's surface.
"Beep boo woop." Artoo replied as he rolled over to a socket behind the front passenger seat.
"Sorry Artoo, but you've gotta be faster than that when Ami's on board." Usagi giggled as she looked at Ami, who had taken her guardian form the moment the transmission started to play so she could track it.
"Coordinates are locked, pardon me Anakin." Mercury said as she walked into the cockpit and grabbed the steering handles.
"It's all yours." Anakin replied before switching seats with Mercury. Mercury piloted the ship towards the location she'd tracked the transmission to, but instead of landing she just hovered in the area.
"Mommy, keep flying north, I can sense master Tano in that direction." Bubbles instructed as she pointed in the direction of the town, though the town wasn't visible yet and no one knew that it was there.
"Hold on people!" Mercury yelled before speeding in the direction Bubbles had instructed. While everyone flew towards the town, Ahsoka was still being coddled by Tann.
"There, that might help with your achy tummy." Tann said with a smile as she watched Ahsoka drink a little water.
"Ahsoka still feel sick." Ahsoka replied as she cuddled against Tann.
"I know baby, but you'll feel better soon." Tann replied as she rubbed Ahsoka's back a little.
"Mama! Mama!" Nima yelled as she and Andy rushed into the room.
"Kids, what is it?! Is everything alright?!" Tann asked with some concern as she looked at her children.
"There's a big shiny ship coming this way!" Andy informed as he grabbed Tann's hand and started pulling on it.
"Hold on, hold on, let me set Ahsoka down." Tann instructed as she gently carried Ahsoka to her bed and laid her in it. "Alright, show me." Tann instructed before quickly following her children. Andy and Nima lead Tann outside just in time to see Padmé's ship land on the outskirts of town. "I hope that's a good ship." Tann quietly said as she stared at the ship. She watched as the ramp started to come down, then before she had time to blink, three streaks of light shout out of the ship and headed straight towards her.
"She's over here, I can sense her!" Bubbles yelled as she and her sisters stopped directly above Tann.
"What are those things mama?" Nima asked as she hugged Tann's leg.
"Hm?" Blossom said as she looked down. "Hi there, we're the Powerpuff Girls, what are your names?" Blossom asked as she and her sisters landed in front of Tann and her children.
"What are you three, and why are you here?" Tann asked as she pushed her children behind her.
"We came for master Tano, I could sense here nearby. Have you seen an orange togruta with white markings anywhere?" Bubbles asked with a smile.
"Your Ahsoka's padawan?!" Tann asked in a surprised tone.
"You know master Tano?!" Bubbles asked in the same surprised tone.
"Yes, she's been staying with us almost since she got here. She's inside, follow me." Tann answered as she lead the Puffs into the clinic.
"Misses Usho, who are these young girls with you?" The woman behind the front desk asked as Tann lead the puffs over to her.
"Friends of Ahsoka's apparently, I was bringing them to her room." Tann answered with a smile.
"Oh that's wonderful, she'll be so happy that some familiar faces have shown up." The woman replied with a smile.
"She sure will be, come on girls." Tann said as she continued walking. Tann lead the puffs and her own children to Ahsoka's room, then she slowly opened the door and walked inside. "Ahsoka, you have visitors." Tann informed as she stared at Ahsoka. Ahsoka perked her head up slightly to look at her.
"Master!" Bubbles yelled with joy as she and her sisters flew into the room.
"Bubbly one! Bubbly one, bubbly one, bubbly one!" Ahsoka yelled with joy before leaping out of bed and running over to Bubbles.
"Oh man, she's in her wild form again!" Buttercup yelled as she stared at Ahsoka.
"Who cares! We found her, we found master Tano!" Bubbles cheered as she hugged Ahsoka.
"No hug so hard, make Ahsoka..." Ahsoka paused to let out a large belch.
"Woah! Nice one Ahsoka!" Buttercup yelled with a laugh.
"Tummy hurt." Ahsoka finished with a sickly expression.
"Um, thank you for letting master Tano stay with you for so long, but why is she in the hospital?" Bubbles asked as she floated over to Tann
"Well, in her feral state she got some ice cream, however she didn't realize that she couldn't eat chocolate. She ate a rather large scoop of chocolate ice cream that contained pieces of caramel filled chocolates. She got pretty sick unfortunately, thankfully she seems to be doing okay though. I was worried that her condition would be much worse than what it is, I still feel bad though. We should've been keeping a better eye on her. There was demolition work in the mountains and the explosion threw her into a panic, she took off like a bolt of lightning." Tann explained in a sad tone.
"Master, you know that you can't eat chocolate, it's super poisonous to you!" Bubbles yelled as she stared at Ahsoka.
"Ahsoka not know, just smell yummy, so Ahsoka eat it." Ahsoka replied with a sad expression.
"At least you're okay now, we should take you back to the ship so that you can see Padmé and everyone else." Blossom suggested with a smile.
"Mama? Ahsoka see mama?!" Ahsoka asked with enthusiasm.
"Yep, come on Ahsoka." Buttercup answered as she carefully picked Ahsoka up.
"Wait!" Ahsoka yelled before wiggling out of Buttercup's arms. All three puffs looked at her with some confusion, but then they realized why Ahsoka had done that. "Ahsoka go home now." Ahsoka quietly said as she looked at Tann.
"That's right, you get to go home now." Tann replied as she knelt in front of Ahsoka.
"Ahsoka gonna miss you, Tann and family so nice to Ahsoka. Ahsoka gonna miss you all." Ahsoka quietly said as she nuzzled Tann's hand.
"We'll miss you to Ahsoka." Tann replied as she gently hugged Ahsoka.
"Does she have to go, mama?" Nima asked in a sad tone.
"Yes honey, Ahsoka has to go home now." Tann answered in a sad tone.
"But we don't want her to leave." Andy replied as he stared at Ahsoka.
"I know kids, but Ahsoka has a family that she misses, and they miss her as well." Al said with a sad expression as he hugged his family.
"Will we ever see her again?" Nima asked with a sad expression.
"I don't know, but no matter what happens, the important thing is that Ahsoka's back with her family. I know it's hard to let go, but it's the right thing to do." Tann answered as she hugged Nima. Andy and Nima both lightly cried into Tann's chest, but then they both turned towards Ahsoka, seeing her nuzzling Bubbles and her sisters.
"Come on kids, let's let Ahsoka be with her family now." Al said with a smile as he started leading his family out of the room.
"Bye Ahsoka, we'll miss you." Nima cried as she waved goodbye to Ahsoka.
"Ahsoka gonna miss you too, but Ahsoka come back to visit someday, Ahsoka promise." Ahsoka replied with a smile. Then she looked at Bubbles and waited for either her or one of her sisters to pick her up.
"Thank you for taking care of master Tano, we're forever in your debt." Bubbles thanked as she bowed to everyone, then she gently picked Ahsoka up and flew her out of the room, followed by Blossom and Buttercup.
"Goodbye sweetie, we'll never forget you, or what you did for our small town." Tann quietly said as she watched everyone disappear down the hall and out the window at the end of it.
"Ow! Master, you're clawing my head." Bubbles whined as Ahsoka clung to her, digging her claws into Bubbles's head.
"No like flying! No like flying!" Ahsoka yelled as she clung tighter to Bubbles.
"That's right, Ahsoka doesn't like to be off the ground when she's in her feral state." Blossom reminded as she stared at Ahsoka.
"Just hold on master, it's not far to the ship." Bubbles encouraged before speeding towards the ship, followed by her sisters. After a few minutes the puffs arrived at the ship, and Padmé was already waiting to greet them when they arrived.
"Ahsoka! Oh thank goodness you're alright!" Padmé yelled as Bubbles slowly descended towards her.
"Not alright, not alright! Ahsoka too high, Ahsoka want down!" Ahsoka shouted as she flailed in Bubbles's arms.
"Okay, okay, hold on master." Bubbles replied before gently setting Ahsoka down.
"Ahsoka hate it when Bubbly one or sisters do that to her! Ahsoka no like flying without nice safe ship!" Ahsoka yelled as she rushed into Padmé's open arms, then cuddled against her.
"I know honey, but look, they brought you back to us." Padmé said in an encouraging tone as she hugged Ahsoka.
"We're so glad that you're safe and sound." Anakin said with a smile as he hugged Padmé and Ahsoka.
"Ahsoka only safe because of nice family, they let Ahsoka stay with them. Give her food and shelter, treat like one of their own. Ahsoka gonna miss them, but happy to be with mommy and daddy again." Ahsoka replied as she nuzzled Anakin's hand.
"Thank goodness she's safe, now let's get her back to Coruscant, the council will want to hear the details of what happened." Obi-Wan instructed as he patted Ahsoka's head.
"No! No touch head." Ahsoka grumbled before shaking Obi-Wan's hand from her head.
"Come on, I'll check her over for injuries and ailments while you get us back to Coruscant." Kaede informed before walking onto the ship.
"Come on Ahsoka, let's get you home." Anakin said with a smile before picking Ahsoka up, then he carried her aboard and laid her on the bed.
"Alright, let's head home." Padmé said with a smile as she started the ship, then she slowly took off and headed towards space.
"Bye Ahsoka! We'll miss you!" Andy yelled as he and Nima ran out of the hospital to wave goodbye.
"Remember that you promised to come back someday! So you have to come back someday!" Nima shouted as she also waved goodbye. "Bye Ahsoka!" Nima and Andy both shouted as they watched Padmé's ship fly away. Ahsoka stared out the window with a sad expression, watching as the nice family that had cared for her faded from her sight, as the ship climbed higher into the air, before breaching the atmosphere into the emptiness of space.
"Ahsoka no break promises, Ahsoka see nice family again. Someday." Ahsoka quietly said before curling into a small ball and lying on the couch in the common area of the ship.
"My God Ahsoka, what happened to you? You're covered in burns and old wounds, and it looks like you have some partially healed broken bones. What did Bane do to you?" Europa asked as she turned her visor off.
"Bane not do, only take from home. Vader do this, Vader torture Ahsoka, torture her for almost two days. But Ahsoka escape and get rescued by nice family that take care of Ahsoka." Ahsoka explained with a small smile.
"Vader? Who's Vader?" Anakin asked as he looked back at Ahsoka.
"Vader mean Sith that make Barriss bad, but Barriss good in end. Barriss sacrifice herself for Ahsoka." Ahsoka explained in a happy tone.
"That can't be right, Barriss was killed in the explosion after she destroyed the engines of our ship a while back." Obi-Wan replied with a surprised expression.
"Ahsoka thought so too, but Barriss alive! Want revenge on Ahsoka, so Barriss become Darth Vader; but then Barriss have epi ep, epa fanny." Ahsoka explained with a straight face.
"Do you mean an epiphany?" Obi-Wan asked in a calm tone.
"Yes. Barriss realize why she was bad, then Barriss give her life to safe Ahsoka's. Ahsoka survived big cave collapse, and Barriss become pretty blue ghost. Barriss find peace in end, Ahsoka happy that friend find peace in end." Ahsoka said with a smile.
"We're glad that Barriss finally found the light after being trapped in the dark for so long, but it doesn't mean that I'm not mad at her for what she did to you while she held you captive." Anakin replied with a sad expression.
"No worry about Barriss anymore, Barriss nice ghost now, like Maul." Ahsoka replied with a smile.
"Maul's a nice ghost? Do you speak from experience, did you talk to him?" Obi-Wan asked with some surprise as he stared at Ahsoka.
"Yes, Maul good ghost now. Help encourage Ahsoka when trapped in harsh canyon and loosing hope, Ahsoka all alone in big canyon after escaping Vader. But then Maul show up and encourage her to survive, then Ahsoka see town from canyon, but too weak to make it there. But Ahsoka lucky, nice man that Ahsoka stay with find her in canyon, bring her to his nice home. Ahsoka get all sorts of love and care from nice family, treat Ahsoka like one of their own. Ahsoka already miss them, especially Andy and Nima." Ahsoka explained with a smile, before letting out a sad sigh.
"Who are Andy and Nima?" Padmé asked in a sweet tone as she smiled at Ahsoka.
"Andy and Nima the two kids of the family, Ahsoka had lots of fun with them. Ate dinner with them, talked to them, rescue them a few times. They really like Ahsoka, and Ahsoka really like them. They treat Ahsoka like big sister, just like little sister Omega does. Ahsoka no see Omega in long time though, Ahsoka miss her too." Ahsoka explained with joy, before quickly becoming sad again.
"Hey, I have an idea that might cheer you up. Give me a moment." Obi-Wan said with a smile before walking into the cockpit. Ahsoka waited for a few minutes before Obi-Wan came back. "Alright Ahsoka, there's a surprise for you in the cockpit, just try not to hit any buttons or anything while you're in there." Obi-Wan informed as he sat down next to Ahsoka.
"Ahsoka get surprise? Ahsoka like surprises!" Ahsoka said with excitement before quickly walking into the cockpit.
"Hello? Hello? Is anyone there? Hunter nobody's answering." A quiet voice came through the speaker.
"Just be patient Omega, General Tano might just need some extra time. You know how she can be when she's feral." Hunter's encouraging voice informed from the background.
"Ahsoka here, who Ahsoka talk to?" Ahsoka asked as she sat on the floor and stared at the speaker.
"Hello General Tano, it's nice to hear from you again." Omega answered in a happy tone.
"Yay! Little sister! Ahsoka happy to talk to little sister, little sister so nice and tough, what little sister doing right now?" Ahsoka asked with enthusiasm as she bounced a little with excitement.
"My squad and I are tracking a spice smuggling ring, it's so cool." Omega answered in a giddy tone.
"Ahsoka find spice dealers on Geonosis, Ahsoka kick their butts." Ahsoka replied as she hopped onto one of the seats.
"That's quite the coincidence, the ring we've been tracking did a drop there a few days ago." Tech's voice sounded through the speaker.
"Wait, what were you doing on Geonosis in the first place?" Hunter asked in a curious tone.
"Ahsoka get kidnapped by mean man, then Ahsoka wake up in restraints in cave. Mean lady named Vader torture Ahsoka for days, but then Ahsoka escape and get rescued by nice family." Ahsoka answered in a happy tone.
"You were tortured?! That's terrible general, are you okay?" Omega asked with concern.
"Yes, Ahsoka fine now. Nice family take care of Ahsoka and nurse her back to health, Ahsoka really miss them, but also happy to be with mommy and daddy again." Ahsoka answered in semi quiet tone.
"We're glad that you made it back home general, when we're done with this mission we'll bring Omega by to see you. Would you like that?" Hunter asked in a kind tone.
"Yes! Ahsoka love that, want to see little sister!" Ahsoka yelled with joy.
"Alright general, we'll bring her to Coruscant as soon as this mission's done. Unfortunately we have to go now, the ship we're tracking just dropped out of hyperspace. Wish us luck general." Hunter informed in a calm tone.
"Good luck, little sis be safe and beat up mean drug dealers!" Ahsoka yelled with a smile.
"You can count on us, General. Over and out." Omega replied before hanging up.
"Do you feel a little happier now?" Anakin asked with a smile as he looked at Ahsoka.
"Yes, Ahsoka get to see little sister soon. Ahsoka very happy about that." Ahsoka answered before slowly climbing out of her seat, then meandering her way into the lounge area of the ship.
"Hello Ahsoka, how are you feeling?" Usagi asked with a smile.
"Ahsoka tired, need nap." Ahsoka answered before climbing onto the couch where the guardians were already sitting, then she casually laid down across Sarah and Kaede's laps.
"Yeah no, that's fine. Ya just go ahead and lay on us, it ain't like we might have ta get up er nothin'." Sarah sarcastically spoke as she stared down at Ahsoka.
"Ahsoka glad you no have to get up, Ahsoka too tired to move." Ahsoka replied as she closed her eyes, not having understood Sarah's sarcasm at all.
"I'm sorry aunties, master Tano's uh... you know, I don't know what to say. She's just, uh..." Bubbles apologized as she looked down at Ahsoka.
"Not herself right now. That's alright, she's been through a lot. She's likely lying on us just so she can feel close to people right now, there's no telling what she's truly been through. Her feral side struggles to communicate sometimes, her usual self will be much more descriptive in what she may have gone through while she was away." Kaede replied as she lightly scratched Ahsoka's back.
"Yeah, thanks auntie." Bubbles thanked as she hugged Kaede and Sarah.
"We'll keep an eye on her, ya just go and hangout with yer sisters er something." Sarah said with a smile as she gently rubbed Ahsoka's lower back.
"Alright, bye aunties." Bubbles replied before floating further into the back of the ship.
"I hope we get there soon, this is not comfortable." Kaede giggled as she looked at Sarah.
"Suck it up buttercup, you're tough." Sarah chuckled in reply.
"You bet your butt I am!" Buttercup yelled from the rear of the ship.
"Whoops, fergot that we actually have a Buttercup on board." Sarah quietly said with a giggle.
"You forgot about me?! Ami mommy, auntie Sarah forgot I was even on board!" Buttercup shouted in a grumpy tone.
"That means you're behaving yourself, I'm so proud of you Buttercup!" Ami yelled back in a happy tone.
"Well I still think that stinks." Buttercup grumbled as she crossed her arms.
"Oh quit whining Buttercup, at least you're not getting into trouble." Blossom replied as she drew some new battle tactics.
"Do you want me to?" Buttercup asked with a smirk.
"No." Blossom and Bubbles both replied in firm tones.
"Well I'm bored, so what can I do?" Buttercup grumbled as she stared at her sisters.
"I don't know, go bug someone else." Blossom answered as she continued her drawings. Buttercup grumbled a little before floating out of the room.
"Bored?" Minako asked as Buttercup floated into the lounge area.
"Yes." Buttercup answered in a grumpy tone.
"Me too, come sit by us. It's been a while since we gossiped about Donnie." Minako answered as she patted a seat between her and Rei. Buttercup smiled before dashing into the open seat, then she started chatting up a storm about Donnie. The rest of the trip was quiet after that, everyone was either quietly doing their own thing or sleeping, and before anyone knew it they were back on Coruscant.
"Then finally, after we escaped from the bear, we got lost! It was hilarious. We ended up flying all the way around Mount Rushmore before we found the ComVee again!" Buttercup yelled with a laugh.
"Oh my God, I bet Marianne was mad about that!" Minako replied with a laugh.
"She was, but then Nigel came out and said, oh don't worry dearest, Buttercup and Donnie can handle themselves. They're probably more capable than we are most of the time." Buttercup said with a chuckle. "Donnie and I were off the hook after that, because Marianne was too busy yelling at Nigel from that point on." Buttercup finished with a laugh.
"That sounds about right. Man, we haven't seen the Thornberry family in so long, we'll have to see where their next assignment takes them and maybe meet them there. We could use a vacation after all the weird craziness that's been going on the past few months. Ahsoka's gonna need it more than any of us after all of this." Rei replied with a smile as she looked over at Ahsoka, who seemed to be waking up a little.
"Strap in everyone, we just dropped out of hyperspace over Coruscant." Obi-Wan informed as he stepped out of the cockpit.
"Ahsoka home?" Ahsoka asked with a small yawn as she lifted her head up a little bit.
"Yes Ahsoka, you're home." Obi-Wan answered with a smile.
"Yay! Ahsoka home!" Ahsoka yelled as she jumped off of Sarah and Kaede's laps.
"Finally, I can move my leg again." Kaede said with a relieved sigh as she stretched a little.
"Tell me about it." Sarah replied as she did the same thing.
"Oooo! Ahsoka see temple." Ahsoka said with a smile as she smooshed her face against the front windshield.
"Yes Ahsoka, but if you don't back up then I can't see where I'm flying." Anakin informed as he gently pulled Ahsoka back. Anakin slowly landed the ship outside the temple, and the second the ramp dropped Ahsoka bolted from the ship like a bullet from a gun.
"Greetings padawan Tano, quite the experience you've had recently. Yes?" Yoda asked as he slowly walked towards the ship.
"Ahsoka have big experience! First get kidnapped and tortured, then end up in canyon, then family find Ahsoka and take her in! Then Ahsoka fight bad guys, and Ahsoka's new friends get taken, then Ahsoka trade herself for them! Mean Vader torture Ahsoka more than first time! But then Ahsoka make Vader good again, and Barriss give her life for Ahsoka, then she turned into pretty blue ghost and disappeared! Then Ahsoka stay with family for a few more days, but then Bubbly one and sisters come to save Ahsoka and take her home! Now Ahsoka home and super happy!" Ahsoka yelled and babbled with excitement.
"The fastest debriefing in republic history that may have been. Glad to have you home we are, and most glad is someone who is waiting inside." Yoda replied with a smile.
"Merida! Merida, Merida, Merida!" Ahsoka yelled before dashing into the temple.
"Well that was quick." Anakin said with some surprise as he lead everyone else off the ship. Everyone looked around and was confused at first. In the time it had taken them to stand and leave the ship, Ahsoka had rapidly told her story to Yoda, then disappeared into the temple.
"Where did she go?" Padmé asked as she looked at Yoda.
"Give you one guess I shall, as to where she went." Yoda answered with a grin.
"Merida." Anakin answered with a smirk.
"Like father like daughter, hm Skywalker?" Yoda asked with chuckle.
"Yes master, she definitely gets that from me." Anakin answered with a chuckle of his own.
"Well now that Ahsoka's home, why don't we all get home as well. I'm sure Townsville misses its heroes." Ami suggested as she looked down at the puffs.
"Okay!" All three puffs answered with smiles.
"Well master Yoda, I suppose we'll all see you again soon. Take care of Ahsoka for us, you know how wild she can be." Usagi giggled as she bowed to Yoda.
"Take care of Ahsoka we shall, for returning her home, our thanks you have." Yoda replied as he bowed back to Usagi.
"What are friends for. Goodbye everyone, I'm sure we'll all meet again soon." Usagi replied as she activated her portal, then lead everyone through it.
"Goodbye masters, please tell master Tano that I've gone home when you see her." Bubbles said as she bowed to everyone.
"Don't worry Bubbles, we'll let her know." Anakin replied as he waved to Bubbles. Bubbles smiled before entering the portal, which vanished a few seconds later.
"Incredible she is, a great master she will make one day." Yoda said before turning away from the now vanished portal, then he slowly made his way into the temple.
