Boiling Isles, Conformatorium, days later

Luz felt heavy steps coming this way.

She immediately went for an open cell nearby and closed down the steeled gate, fear blinding her she saw a glowing purple pillar in the middle of the cell and hid behind it.

The Warden entered the hallway and spoke menacingly. Luz heard him, he was right in front of the cell. At the mention of the Owl Lady she and King peaked and immediately retreated their heads when the massive demon turned his sight to the cell. Fortunately, Tiny Nose distracted him but paid the price and was taken by the Warden to who knows where.

Heart slowing down she pushed the gate up and immediately went for the lever. " Don't worry, I can get you out. " She tried with all her might but the lever didn't budge. " Nooo, my weak nerd arms. " She really had noodle arms.

" Just get out of here while you still can kid, enjoy freedom for us. "

Devastated by her weakness she turned around, but not before taking a look at the pillar she hid behind and was shocked at the sight.

It was not a pillar but a barrier and inside, although not very noticeable, was a statue of a smirking demon, but the way she was dressed made this statue look like a witch by human standards, a very cool one. Tall, maybe more than Eda, long curly hair, pointy hat, clawed fingers, furry dress. Was that part of the skin?

" That's the False Titan! She looks taller in person. "

" Wait, that's a person?! "

" I'll tell you on the way. " As they walked, King explained the punishment of petrification, which sounded very horrible, and the events that happened more than a week ago.

" Eda, lend me a hand! "

Together they pushed every lever on the way, passing by the cell she used to hide herself. While chaos endured, a small purple spider on the ceiling sneaked into the cell holding a big sheet with a web, she morphed and dropped through the barrier. Nobody was witness to the glow coming from within.

" NOW EAT THIS, SUCKA! "

Luz the human hit the fireworks right in the Warden's mouth. Everything exploded, the surroundings were lit in many colors as the tied-up Warden ran away and the prisoners celebrated their victory.

*BLAST*

All the heads turned up to the Conformatorium where a smoking hole was recently added. One two-clawed foot landed on the edge and the smoke started to disperse.

" Well, well, well. That's quite the pathetic state you're in Warden. "

The fireworks and the Warden's arms glowed purple, the former was sent flying to the sky and the latter was untangled. The Warden's voice returned to its menacing tone. " You. "

The smoke finally revealed the demon within, the same one Luz saw in the barrier but alive and with color. All the fireworks suddenly went off together giving this demon some good lighting on its tan skin as it, or rather she, spoke. " Yes, I. The Titan of the Light, the last of my kind, the strongest witch in the Demon Realm. " The wind blew the witch's black dress and purple hair, exactly like it did with Luz.

By the way, said human had stars in her eyes.

The witch let herself fall off, doing one front flip before landing fist and knee before the Warden and standing up face to face.

Also, everybody heard the human not very quietly whisper. " Superhero landing! "

The Warden morphed his arms into large hammers. " The others may escape, but you! The Emperor has personally ordered me to not let you out! "

The gray demon pulled his weapons back and was about to strike. The witch summoned her staff and with one hand created a dark circle with purple outline and golden sparks above her. The hammers came flying but before they could land words were spoken.

" Let there be light! " And the staff tapped the ground.

A blinding light engulfed everything. It could be seen from everywhere, even the scouts guarding the castle saw a light beyond the cliffs. Even through a box in the In Between Realm, it was so bright the black void lacked any darkness.

When all could see, red grass grew everywhere in the courtyard and on the building, the powerful Warden on his knees and hands, head lowered, weakened before the witch. The sight shocked all and jaws were dropped, nobody had ever seen such power from an individual.

" Warden Wrath. " With a soft voice that none but he could hear, the witch addressed her defeated opponent who lifted his head. The face he saw was one of sad sympathy. " I heard that you want Braxas to get in Hexside. " Before the Warden could misinterpret her words she continued. " Do you think he would like it if he knew that you imprisoned innocent people to get enough money? "

" They are not innocent. " He responded aggressively.

She got on one knee to get on his level. " I know that being a single parent is tough, tougher than anything, but inventing biased rules based on your dislikes, and your desperate need to make your son proud will not help you. "

Each word struck true, the Warden couldn't deny it any longer. As he looked at his hands he asked no one in particular. " What do I do? Nobody wants to help me. "

The witch put her free hand on his shoulder. " Forcing someone to be a parental figure when you're not there for him is not a solution. Asking for help is, the people you've caught are misunderstood and just like them nobody can understand you, not if you won't let them. I'm sure some of your loyal guards would love to babysit your son or take care of all of your duties when you want some free time. Plus this prison should be for those who deserve it. " She tapped his shoulder a few times before standing up, dropped his mask before him, and departed with a few words.

" Please, think about it. "

As she walked away towards the prisoners and company she placed her staff on her shoulders and took a peek behind her, contemplating her work. " Who said a prison couldn't be welcoming? "

She arrived before the others smirking. " If it isn't the great Owl Lady. "

" Gotta admit that was one hell of a show, what did you tell him, what's your shtick here? "

" Oh nothing but causing chaos to help the pure and fight the wicked, furthermore your apprentice was the one who did all the work, I was just giving my two snails. "

" Apprentice? "

The witch pointed to her right so they both turned their heads to Luz who was staring, gasping, hands on her cheeks, at the Titan of the Light.

" Arrest them! " Guards started coming out of the Conformatorium.

Eda grabbed her staff. " Quick let bounce before- "

" Stop! "

All seized at the Warden's order, the demon stood tall putting his mask back on and announced. " They're free to go. " He looked at the self-proclaimed Titan and gave her a simple nod.

" You asked what I told him. " She tipped her hat to him. " Let's just say I gave him some Titan wisdom. " She and the trio flew on their staff.

Moments after as they were flying Luz did not take her eyes off of the powerful witch. I mean seriously she was so cool! Her outfit was some dark version of the Good Witch Azura, she was apparently very strong, and could even befriend her enemies like a protagonist from a shounen. And look! She was riding her staff on her back without any difficulty or fear of falling off, hand behind her head, eyes closed as if she was taking a nap on a hammock! How cool is that!? She was the most awesome witch Luz has ever seen since her arrival in the Demon Realm. Which didn't amount to much since she only saw her and Eda.

The amazing witch chuckled. " Do you like staring at people? " She said, opening her eyes to look at the human.

Surprised and awakened from her daydreaming, she fumbled. " I-hum-ta-yy-it's-see-I don't-didn't mean to. "

Eda and King snorted at her embarrassment. " You sound stupid. " The small demon commented.

Luz just couldn't stand it, she closed her hoodie trying to hide and die in a hole. What was going on with her? She was never that bad when in front of something or someone she admired.

" It's okay, I don't mind. Luz, right? " The dark Azura stood up and sat on the side of her Palisman facing the others.

A muffled noise came out. " Yes. " Luz opened her hoodie to better speak, still bearing a bit of embarrassment. " It's just… You are like the witches that we have in the Human Realm but you're… "

" Much better? Surpassing your expectations? "

The human played with her fingers a bit. " ...Yes. "

The witch gave her a big toothy smile. " I'm glad my first fan is a cute kid like you, probably my biggest fan too. Thank you. "

" I don't think it's worth being thankful. "

Did she just call her cute? Ohmygosh!

The Owl Lady interrupted this weird exchange, disguested at this fangirling. " Yeah yeah, yeah, how about you introduce yourself? You didn't tell us who you were. "

" Oh, I'm sure you know already, Coven scouts love to spread rumors and there's no way you didn't see the video. "

The old witch did not trust this one, she did help get the Warden off her back and did seem to want to do good, but Eda wasn't too keen on the whole 'Last Titan' thing. While she didn't want to stop anyone from believing in anything, proclaiming yourself as a Titan was still a huge deal. " Titans don't have names. "

" Yep. Unless someone gives us a name, we just identify with our magic, it's very rare for us to have names. "

" Sure. " That was said with a lot of sarcasm, but she knew she would get nowhere.

Surprisingly it was King who asked instead of Luz. " Then what do we call you, False Titan? Human Charmer? Pointy Hat? Who even wears a pointy hat? "

" Witches with some fashion sense. " Joked Luz trying to defend the outfit.

She was very glad that Miss Pointy Hat snorted at her jokes before giving an expression that said 'I got an idea.' " I have an idea. I find this to be a strange coincidence but in the Human Realm in one of their languages, Luz means light, right? "

Luz confirmed with a nod.

" Then I wouldn't mind if you were to call me Titan Luz, or just Titan. I like both. "

The teen gasped. " Really? " Having the honor to share her name with someone like Titan Luz? It was too much.

Of course, King had to say it. " How original. "

" I was told I was not great at naming things, always going too far, so that's the minimum of what I have, if you don't like it I'm open to ideas. "

" I still think Pointy Hat is the best option. " Everyone laughed at that.

" In any case. " The Titan of the Light stood on her feet on her magical staff. " This is farewell, I still have many things to do. Eda, if you need an agent of chaos give me a crow call. "

" Huh, I'll think about it. "

" King, I hope you conquer many lands until we meet again. "

" All will bow before my might! "

" Luz. " The kid looked ready to hear some wise words but that's not what she got. The Titan of the Light lowered her altitude, her head reaching Luz's level. She rubbed the brown-haired kid before placing a smile that Luz felt was nice but also familiar, she just couldn't remember where.

" I hope I can get to know you better. "

The tall wild witch quickly spun around them a few times. " TO INFINITY AND BEYOND! " Then blasted off with a sonic boom towards the sky, leaving a purple magical trail behind.

" That… was… awesome! "

The two other passengers just grunted. " We get it, kid, you've met your idol. "

" She even knows about human culture! " Luz was just all giddy. She had found her idol.

" We get it, no need to scream! " Begged the small demon.

" What?! " The sonic boom was not a good idea.

The Castle, throne room

Sitting on the throne alone was the one and only ruler of the Boiling Isles. Emperor Belos. The reason for his solitude could be noticed by his body oddly morphing while trying to hold itself, the grunts and the heavy breaths coming from the mask showed how taxing it was to keep his body and mind together. Those accursed Palismen.

Since that damn self-proclaimed Titan appeared they have been more active than before, as if her very presence gave them power, enough power to resist him when it was meaningless.

An explosion could be heard from the outside, the castle trembled proving that whatever was happening out there was not small.

The door to his domain opened revealing the being that occupied his thoughts mere moments ago. She walked in at a slow pace, her steps echoed on the wall, mischievously smirking at him. She walked up to him and he too stood up from his rightful throne.

Face to face in silence they glared at each other with pure hatred, both staff in hand.

" I'm back. Didn't think the petrification wouldn't work, did you? "

His grasp tightened. " Indeed, I should've killed you on the spot, Wild Witch. "

" Oh please, we are alone, you can drop the acting… Witch Hunter. "

" …Your knowledge is dangerous. " His staff glowed and with speed most demons didn't possess he blasted his opponent.

The wild witch was thrown back down but managed to land on her feet seemingly uninjured. Or that seemed the case before she dropped to one knee clutching her stomach.

His posture relaxed a bit at the knowledge that he could easily hurt her and thus kill her.

But that smirk refused to go down. With speed rivaling his, the witch made a spell circle with her finger and shot a blast at her opponent. The magic being too fast the Emperor had barely time to dodge and was hit.

He clutched his shoulder, the attack burned some of his mold and it was painful, more than any other attack, almost as if it was specifically made to hurt him.

Both beings were hurt by the other, meaning they both had the power to kill the other.

The wild witch was the first to defuse the tension.

" Pfhahaha, haha HAHAHA! "

She laughed, her voice bouncing on the walls. It was infuriating.

She talked as if reading his mind. " You're probably thinking that I'm taking pride in hurting you but the truth is I find this exchange ironically funny. "

" I do not care for your humor- "

" Two former humans who lost everything dear to them and became mad, seeking the destruction of the source of their madness, only to become monsters in the end. Quite poetic. "

Although he had a mask, the tall woman was certain he raised one eyebrow slowly. " You, a human? "

" Former human. " She pulled away her hair, showing her well-rounded ears. " Despite my human traits I just can't see myself as one, I can't even see myself as a demon either, considering what I am, what I can do and... all the things I've done. "

" That is your problem. I am still human. But it is gratifying to know that I stand above you. "

His belief was really annoying. " Right, I forgot. 400 years and not even guilty for the death of your own brother. " How can someone truly think from the bottom of their heart that they are doing good, it's not even about the greater good but what he thought was good for all humans, like a hero. How sickening. " But you are wrong, you worship my kind, I don't care what the people say about me or act around me, you will be the only one to kneel before me. I don't know what your plans are with the sigils but I will stop you. " She spoke with great confidence but it was overshadowed by the anger in her eyes and her last words.

" You wanted an name? To you, I am the Lord Titan. "

Belos would never admit the small shiver he felt at that moment.

" I'll see you soon. " She turned her back on him. At that moment Lilith and Hunter ran in and at the sight of the False Titan readied for battle.

" Hunter, Lilith. " Casually speaking she walked between still clutching her wound using her staff as a crutch, and just like before became invisible. Her footsteps echoed in the hallway before slowly fading.

The Head Coven ran before the Emperor, noticing the way he protected his shoulder. " My liege, what happened, are you hurt in any way? " The Golden Guard was too afraid to move, a wild witch unlike any other knew his name when nobody but his uncle did.

Belos sat down on his throne in silence, the two subordinates both knew that something was definitely wrong. Their Emperor was quieter than ever before, like he was dead, usually they would hear his breathing or the shuffling of papers or his fingers tapping his throne. But now? He was still, deeply thinking. They were too afraid to disturb him.

' тᵢtan, тᵢtan, тᵢtan, ᵥₑngₑₐncₑ, ᵥₑngₑₐncₑ, ᵥₑngₑₐncₑ, ᵥₑngₑₐncₑ, frₑₑdom, frₑₑdom. '

Who was she?

She knew his name, his origins, his goal, maybe not everything but enough to oppose him.

For once in his life the great Emperor Belos, Witch Hunter Philip Wittebane had acknowledged someone as a threat.

He was the first to believe that she might truly be a Titan.

The voices in his head told him so.

And for once he listened.

When the Titan of the Light exited the castle she stopped her acting. She straightened her back and walked like nothing happened. If only Belos knew how strong a Titan was, much less the strongest Titan in history.
