As nighttime came Julia told Margaret and Thomas they could go home and rest. So, he ordered George and 2 constables to remain in the hallway.

Julia had gone to the water closet, as she walked back the hallway and noticed the door was closed, and locked. She knocked on the door a couple of times, when a constable opened it, "for heaven's sake, why is the door locked?"

"You can't be too careful" the constable

She checked on William and noticed he had petechiae, "he has petechiae…someone tried to smother him…who's been in this room?" As she was asking questions, the constable came up from behind her and began strangled, "sorry, doctor, you get to die first"

It was Ralph Fellows, "oh no, he tried to kill, William" she thought to herself as she struggled to hit him.

Everything was going dark, when she heard the best voice in the world, "STOP!" And she hit Ralph in the gut and he took off as she sat on the bed, as she yelled, "help! Help!"

George appeared at the door, "doctor, you ok?"

She shook her head as she tried to catch her breath, as William reached his arm out, "George, Fellows, stop him"

They catch Ralph Fellows, as William and Julia look at each other with relief as she falls into his arm, and cries happy tears.

She looks up at him, "you're alive. I was so scared" as she kisses his lips and face.

She examined him, as he told her how he heard everyone talking, but they were singing.

"You probably, think I'm crazy"

"No, it makes sense. Skull fragments somehow may have hit brain nerves, that will seem like singing but in fact we were all talking."

"That's what George said to me in coma."

"I believe I heard you say my name."

"I did. I came out of my coma and said your name, but then I went back into my coma. You sang to me."

"I sang to you?"

"Yes, you're singing was so beautiful"

"How did you get out of your coma?"

He explained how he first tried again with the car, then with the building.

"I saw him strangling you, and I didn't think a second and jumped off the building."

"When I heard your voice, it was the most beautiful thing I have heard in days" she says as she caresses his cheek, and kisses him.

"Does Susannah, know where I am?"

"She asked me, where you were, I didn't know what to say. I feared every day, how to say that daddy wasn't coming home" she said and wiped a tear

He caresses her cheek, "hey, hey, I'm here, and I'm alive"

Julia smiled as she gave him a hug, "I love you"

"I love you, too"

It was a couple days later, William and Julia were walking down the street, as she asked, "did you sing when you were in the coma?"

"I did. We sang together, we harmonized."

Julia was shocked but smiled, "how wonderful"

"Well, it was a bit lonely. You couldn't hear me"

"Well, I wish I could have heard you. I always wanted us to sing together"

He looks at her, "well, let's get home and sing a song to our little girl"

She smiled, "yes, let's"
