Chapter 1: Friday the 13th:
Nancy's POV:
It was Halloween and my crew, and I are going to spend it at this cabin in the woods.
"This is gonna be awesome," says Ned.
"Hey Shaun, are you gonna get scared again," asks George.
"Not this time," says Shaun.
"You know, these woods look kind of familiar," says Bess.
The car then breaks down. "Great," I said, "maybe someone in that camp can help."
. . .
We were searching through the camp. "Where have I seen this place," asks Bess.
"Hey, look at this sign," says George.
"Camp Crystal Lake!"
"I don't believe it," says Bess, "I think we're in the setting of Friday the 13th!"
"Isn't that the movie with the murderess goalie," asks Ned.
"He was more than just that," says Bess, "Jason Voorhees was a monster who would stop at nothing to kill, but also loved his mother."
"Well, this place seems empty," I said, "get out your phones." We then do so... no reception. We then heard something. "I think we should move."
. . .
We were then walking through the creepy camp. "So... this place isn't exactly Daddy Daycamp, is it," asks Ned.
"Maybe we'll run into Jason," Bess jokes.
"Wait, what's that," asks George.
We saw someone in the shadows. "Good," I said, "our car broke down, can you help us?"
He then walks out of the shadows, and we saw his hockey mask.
"You don't think..." Shaun begins.
He then gets out a machete.
"Run," I said. He then came at us, and we ran.
. . .
"What is going on," asks George.
"We are being chased by Jason Voorhes," says Bess.
"But that's just a movie," says Ned.
"There's the car," says Shaun.
Jason was, somehow, at the car.
"How did he do that," asks George.
"It's what he does," says Bess.
"Let's go another way," I said. We then ran.
. . .
Now we're hiding in a cave. "Should've known this would happen," says George, "something creepy always happens with us!"
"There has to be a logical explanation," I said, "even for us, a movie character coming to life is impossible."
"Maybe it's an actor who thinks he's Jason," says Shaun.
"Maybe," I said.
"Everyone look," says Bess, "this is Jason's shrine dedicated to his mother!"
"Gross," says George.
"It doesn't have to mean what you're thinking, George," says Bess, "some people can have shrines without thoughts like that!"
"Fine, but it's still creepy," says George.
We then heard footsteps. "I have an idea," says Bess.
. . .
So, I was dressed as Jason's Mother. Jason came in and saw me. We were all worried... but Jason kneeled before me. He must've gotten his allowance a lot. Ned then took this opportunity to push him into the water. We then ran.
. . .
I'm not sure how, but the car started working again. Just as we were about to move, Jason jumps on the car. We then drove and he fell off.
. . .
We were then on the road, hoping to be far away from Jason, but then the car broke down again, at this unfamiliar street.
To Be Continued
It takes place after Chapter 52 of The Mysteries of Nancy Drew. In the next chapter, Nancy and the crew find themselves having strange nightmares.
