Chapter 3: Child's Play:
Nancy's POV:
We looked at the doll. "It's Chuckie," says Bess, "he was a serial killer whose soul ended up in a doll!"
"Maybe it's just an ordinary doll," says George.
"Guess again," says the doll.
"Run," I said. We then ran.
. . .
We were running, but then we stopped. "I feel like we're in the Twilight Zone," says Ned.
"What is happening," asks Shaun, "it's like we're going from one horror movie to another!"
"Don't you wanna play," we all heard Chuckie.
"We have to find the car," I said.
"We were just trying to get to a cabin," says Ned.
. . .
We were on our way to the car, but then Ned got stabbed in the leg... "It's gotta be Chuckie," says Shaun.
"Well, it ain't Strawberry Shortcake," says Chuckie.
"Ned, can you run," I asked.
"I'm going to try," says Ned.
We then all started running and Chuckie kept trying to attack us, but then I had an idea. As soon as he got near... I picked him up and threw him. We had one advantage over this guy. "Let's go," I said.
. . .
We finally made it to the car. "I just hope there aren't any other movie monsters," says Shaun.
"Is now a good time to reveal I said Candyman five times in a mirror before this trip," asks Bess.
We all looked at her. "That would have been important," I said.
To Be Continued
In the next chapter, the Candyman comes after Nancy and the crew.
