Chapter 10: Hanging:
Chuck Cluck's Story:
I'm still in the dungeon. In case any of you cared. Anyway, the High Sheriff and Da Bears were getting everything set up. Now, you're probably wondering why Sonic's biggest fans and close friends would be working for Mordred... well, they have no choice! Mordred put obedience collars on them. If Da Bears ever try to rebel, the collars would shock them.
"I don't like working for someone who works for Robotnik, Mike," says Big Griz.
"I know, Griz," says Mad Mike, "but as long as we're wearing these collars, we have no choice!"
"That's right," says the High Sheriff, "now, let's test this out!"
"We pull this switch, right," asks Big Griz. He pulls the switch, and the High Sheriff falls down a trap door.
"I'm starting to see why it was so easy to put those collars on you," says the High Sheriff.
Then Rob came in, wearing his blind man costume. "Say, what's goin' on here," asks Rob.
"We're going to hang Friar Buck," says the High Sheriff.
"Hang Fri- hang Friar Buck," asks Rob.
"Yeah, and it's gonna be a double hanging," says Big Griz, sadly, but then the High Sheriff hits him.
"I should go," says Rob.
. . .
"Well, what's going on," asks Thorn.
"We have to get to work," says Rob.
