Chapter 12: Legend of the Ancients:

Aleena's POV:

Lyric took me and the Chaos Crystals to the top of this mountain.

"With these crystals, I can rule the Universe and I want you as my queen," says Lyric.

"Never," I said.

"Then I'll just destroy you," says Lyric.

I then grabbed the crystals. "I don't think so," I said.

"Give those back!"

I jumped out of the way and Lyric ended up falling down the mountain. "Now, how do I get back," I asked.

Lyric then climbed up the mountain. "You will not take away my destiny," says Lyric.

Then the others came. "Jimmy can fly," says Maurice.

"What," asks Lyric.

"Take a crystal," I said.

"What are you doing," asks Lyric.

There are eight crystals and six of us. I had two and Maurice had two. Just as Lyric was about to attack, we all used the power of the crystals and knocked him down.

. . .

We then sent Lyric and the Crystals into space.

"Now, they won't be a problem for us ever again," I said.

"I just had one question," says Jimmy, "why did you put them in the same rocket? That would just mean Lyric and the Chaos Crystals will be on the same planet."

"Oh," I said, "I guess that wasn't that smart, was it? Huhh."

"Well, wherever they go, Lyric will still be imprisoned," says Maurice.

"And the rocket was programmed to hide the crystals on different parts of whatever planet they'll be on," says Garek.

"Good point," I said, "I guess there's nothing to worry about."

Sonic's POV:

We took a look around the place. "Over here," says Knuckles, "long ago, in Ancient Mobius, there were the Chaos Crystals!"

"Chaos Crystals," asks Sally.

"Like Chaos Emeralds," I asked.

"Yeah, and an evil creature called Lyric seeked their power! But then he was defeated and banished to another planet, but the Ancients who banished him also sent the crystals he seeked to that planet... which is kind of stupid if you ask me. Anyway, if Lyric would ever awaken, he would seek the crystals and use them to take over the Universe!"

"Does it say what he looks like," I asked.

"Nope," says Knuckles.

"I think I might have found his tomb," says Tails.

There was a large rock. Sally looks in and sees something. "There's a snake and its sleeping," says Sally.

"I think we should leave this one alone," says Knuckles.

I then stepped on something, and it was a trigger. It then activates a laser that zaps the rock. "By the way, the Ancients were far more advanced than we are," says Tails.

"I hate advanced technology," says Knuckles.

The rock then opens and a snake wearing high tech armor comes out. "Who stepped on the trigger?"
