All of the Trost District and Wall Maria was now in full-blown chaos as the Titans continued to swarm inside through the hole that the Colossal Titan had created earlier. People were dying left and right, as were the soldiers and the young recruits had recently graduated. Among the new recruits who had died, was Eren who had died trying to save Armin from a Titan while Ben ended up seeing everything. The shock of seeing Eren die and the anger of failure as well as not being able to keep his promise to Carla, caused Ben to become enraged. In his anger, Ben transformed into his Pyronite form, Heatblast and was rampaging through the already ruined Trost District, killing any Titan that got in his way. While all of that was going on, Mikasa who was on the other side of the Trost District had no idea that Eren was dead and what was going on.

City Streets: Trost District, Wall Rose
The smell of blood, smoke and ash had filled the air of the Trost District as the echoes of screams and the sounds of Titans walking could be heard throughout the empty city. All of this resembled what had happened all those years ago during the fall of the Wall Maria. Armin was on the ground and was in shock after witnessing the death of Eren and seeing Ben completely lose it. The stone bricks that made up the streets of the Trost District around Armin had completed melted due to the heat coming from Ben as he was engulfed in his rage. There were piles of ash that were once the bodies of Titans that had been killed by Ben who was rampaging through the city to find the Titan that had killed Eren. Armin had tried to stop Ben but was unable to do anything as he became frozen in his fear and was unable to do anything after all of that. Armin had no idea what to do as it wasn't just Eren who had died but all of his squad had also died, including Thomas Wagner, Nack Tierce, Milieus Zeremski and Mina Carolina, leaving him as the only one alive.
"T…T…Th…They're gone, all gone" Armin said with an emotionless look on his face
Armin kept mumbling to himself until he has was snapped out of his daze by Connie who had arrived with Christa and few other members from his group
"Come on Armin, tell me what happened" Connie tells Armin, trying to get him to say something
Looking around, Connie and the rest of his group noticed that Armin was the only one around which meant that the others had died
"Isn't obvious? They're all dead and this coward was the only one to escape death" Christa's friend said with a look of disgust on her face
Connie and Christa looked at the horrified Armin and realized that he must have seen Eren die
"That can't be, Tennyson and his squad should have been here to help" Connie said in disbelief
"Guess the top of the class died too trying to save this loser" Christa's friend said with a scoff
"Take that back" Connie said, starting a fight with Christa's friend
"Try it" Christa's friend said as she readied herself
Before the two could fight each other, Christa stepped in and put a stop to it
"Enough you two, there's no need for fighting amongst ourselves right now, we've already lost enough people and with Tennyson dead we can't lose anyone else" Christa told her friend and Connie, trying to calm the down
"Ben isn't dead" Armin suddenly said, getting everyone's attention
"What?" Connie asked Armin
"Ben isn't dead" Armin said, repeating himself
"Wait, Tennyson isn't dead?" Connie asked
"If he isn't dead then where is he?" Christa asked Armin
Armin stopped walking and pointed off into the distance
"Over there" Armin said
It was then that Connie and the rest of his group saw massive explosions left and right as pillars of flames erupted into the sky. All of them could feel an immense heat hit them as gusts of wind blew by. Neither Connie or the rest of his group could believe that Ben was the one responsible for all of that.
"He's lost it" Armin said
Connie and his group figured that Ben must have found a hidden stash of explosives and was using them to kill the Titans without knowing that he had actually used the omnitrix and was going on a rampage in his Pyronite form
"Should we go help him?" Christa asked
"No, let's take Armin back and regroup with the others" Connie answered, saying what they should do next
"Good idea, wouldn't want to get caught up in all of that" Christa's friend said
Connie and the rest of his group took the distraught Armin and took him back to where the other groups had gathered. As they did that, they saw more and more explosions of in the distance and hoped that Ben wouldn't do anything that would end up causing himself to die. Armin watched the explosions and became absorbed by his self pity as he lost one friend and now his other friend was going off the deep end because he was incapable of doing anything.
"I'm sorry Ben, I'm so sorry" Armin whispered to himself as tears fell from his eyes

City Streets: Trost District, Wall Rose
Over in the distance where the massive explosions could be seen, Ben in his Pyronite form was killing any and all Titans that he could see. He didn't care at all about the damage that he was doing to the city as he only wanted to kill the Titans and didn't care about anything else. Ben's anger and rage fueled his flames, making them stronger as well as hotter. The heat coming from his flames melted the ground, turning the stone bricks into bubbling puddles. Large parts of the buildings also ended up melting and catching on fire from Ben's flames. The Titans that he encountered didn't stand much of a chance either as the moment Ben saw them, he fired beams of flames from his hands at them as well as created torrents of flames that melted then away.
"DIE!!!" Ben yelled loudly as he punched the ground, causing geysers of flames to shoot up out of the ground and engulf the Titans around him
Ben didn't even try to go for the napes of their necks as his flames melted away their flesh and the rest of their bodies, leaving nothing behind for them to regenerate from
"DIE!!!" Ben yelled again before firing a beam of fire from his mouth
Ben then used that beam to cut down many of the Titans around him, even cutting the buildings in half as he violently swung his head around, not aiming the beam
"You killed him, YOU…KILLED…HIM!!!" Ben yelled loudly as his flames went from being an orange red color to an almost blue and white color
More Titans approached Ben only to be cut down by his flames and burned away into piles of ash. None of the Titans could escape Ben's wrath as he killed them all, throwing massive fireballs at them, which created massive explosions. He would also heat up the ground which caused the Titans to sink down into burning puddles before he blew their heads up with more fireballs.
"I'll find it, I'll find it" Ben mumbled to himself as he killed more and more Titans
You see, while in his rage, Ben was looking for the Titan that he had seen eat Eren and he wanted to kill it so he could avenge Eren. When Ben found a Titan that looked like the one that killed Eren, he acted immediately.
"Found you" Ben said in a serious tone
Ben fired a beam of fire and cut the Titan down at the knees, causing it to fall to the ground so it could go anywhere. Ben then rocketed himself into the air and landed down on the chest of the Titan.
"Now you die" Ben said as his flames started to turn to that blue and white color again
The Titan tried to grab Ben but he blew off its arm with a torrent of flames he fired from his hand. Ben then walked towards the head of the Titan, leaving burning footprints on the Titan's chest.
"I failed him, I failed her, I failed to keep my promise, but I won't fail to kill you" Ben said as he formed a massive blade made of flames in his hand
The Titan tried to use its other arm to grab Ben but with a single swing of his flaming sword, the Titan lost its other arm as well
"Now DIE!!!" Ben yelled loudly as he stabbed the Titan in the face, plunging his flaming sword deeper and deeper into the skull of the Titan
The flames from Ben's flaming sword melted the Titan, layer by layer as it failed to regenerate from the damage that Ben was doing to it. Ben continued to stab the Titan until he created a massive explosion from his body and his flaming sword that engulfed the entire area, killing all of the nearby Titans and almost looking like a mushroom cloud from an atomic bomb going off. The explosion itself shook the entire city and created a massive cloud of smoke before a massive pillar of flames that was in the sky vanished. All that was left after the explosion was a massive crater with Ben in his human form kneeling on the charred ground.
"It wasn't it, it wasn't it" Ben mumbled to himself as he realized that he had killed the wrong Titan and not the one that killed Eren
It didn't take long for more Titans to slowly shamble over and slide down into the crater that Ben had created. Seeing more of the Titans approach him caused Ben's anger to grow more as he recalled Eren's promise to kill all of them.
"I failed to keep my last promise but I won't fail to keep this one" Ben said to himself with a serious look on his face
One of the Titans walked over to Ben and reached down to grab him
"I promise Eren, I'll kill them ALL!!!" Ben yelled loudly as his rage returned
In that moment, Ben was engulfed in a bright green light that came from the omnitrix, right as the Titan was about to grab him. As the green light faded away and the Titan was about to grab Ben, a massive fist came out of nowhere and punched the Titan in the face, knocking its head, completely off. There was then a loud monstrous roar that filled the air as more and more Titans slid down into the crater.

Southern Gate: Trost District, Wall Rose
On the base of the wall at the southern gate, a large group of people had gathered, trying to evacuate to safety. Unfortunately things had came to a stop as merchant had blocked the gate trying to get his wagon load of goods into the Interior Wall. This blockade and the fear of being killed by the Titans caused tempers to flare amongst the people trying to escape. The people tried to plea with the merchant to let them go through first but he wasn't having it which made things worse.
"These goods are my livelihood and I refuse to leave them behind" the merchant told the people as he continued to try and have his wagon pushed through the gate
As the situation got more intense, the people tried to get a garrison soldier to arrest the merchant and let them pass through the gate
"Sir, these people need to pass through, I will arrest you if you" the garrison soldier said nervously before he was interrupted by the merchant
"As if you could, I will have you know that I have connections to the higher-ups who are above you and if you try to stop me, I will use those connections to make your life a living hell" the merchant told the garrison soldier with a serious look on his face
Not wanting anything bad to happen to him, the garrison soldier backed down to the dismay of the people
"My goods are far more valuable than any of your pathetic lives and are worth more than any amount of money you'll ever make" the merchant told the people, insulting them
Before the people could express their rage with the merchant, a little girl in the crowd noticed that a Titan was beginning to approach them
"A Titan is coming" the little girl said, pointing across the bridge
The people looked over and saw the Titan get down on all fours before running straight for them, revealing it to be an Abnormal Titan as it ignored the elite soldiers that were following behind it. The people at the gate all became fearful as they started to panic as the Abnormal Titan got closer and closer to then. In that exact moment, a blur came out of nowhere and hit the Abnormal Titan. In a split second, multiple cuts appeared all over the Abnormal Titan's body before the nape of its neck was cut. As the Abnormal Titan fell to the ground dead, Mikasa landed down in front of the people, revealing that she was the one who killed the Abnormal Titan.
"It looks like my blades are getting dull" Mikasa said to herself as she looked at her dulling sword blades
As Mikasa sheathed her blades, she looked up and saw that the people still hadn't evacuated yet. Heading over she saw that the merchant and his wagon blocking the gate was the reason why the people hadn't evacuated.
"Congratulations child, you killed a Titan now what are you gonna do to help me get my wagon through?" The merchant asked Mikasa in a sarcastic and insulting way
"You are going to pull this wagon back and let these people evacuate" Mikasa told the merchant, not showing any emotions
The merchant stated to break out laughing as he didn't take Mikasa seriously
"And what are you gonna do if I don't?" The merchant asked Mikasa as he continued to laugh at her
In that moment, Mikasa pushed the merchant against his wagon and drew one of her swords, holding it up against the neck of the merchant
"I will execute you here and now and I will burn that wagon of yours so it won't block the way anymore" Mikasa told the merchant with a serious look on her face as she pressed the blade of her sword closer to his neck
Seeing that Mikasa wasn't kidding and was dead serious, the merchant began to panic before he ended up doing what Mikasa wanted. With the fear of being killed, the merchant had his wagon back up and get unstuck from the gate, letting the people pass through and evacuate.
"Thank you" a little girl said to Mikasa, giving her a salute
Mikasa gave the little girl a salute back as she and the other people continued to evacuate through the gate. It was then that Mikasa's team leader walked over and congratulated her on her efforts and quick thinking.
"That was amazing what you did back there" Mikasa's team leader told her
"Thank you sir" Mikasa said, giving her team leader a salute
"I do wonder how you became so efficient like that" Mikasa's team leader wondered out loud
Before anything else could be said, there was another call for panic as another Abnormal Titan had appeared and was rushing towards the gate, breaking through multiple buildings along the way
"ITS ANOTHER ONE!!!" One of the soldiers yelled loudly
The people evacuating through the gate all began to panic as well as they started pushing past each other to get away before the Abnormal Titan could get there. Mikasa readied her blades and went to go deal this new Abnormal Titan but before that could happen there was a large explosion. Mikasa and the other soldiers all watched as what looked like a large armored reptilian-looking creature with tan skin and armored plates crashed through the buildings and grabbed the Abnormal Titan.

The creature had grabbed the Abnormal Titan and slammed its upper half into the ground before charging towards the opposite direction of the bridge while the Abnormal Titan was getting dragged along by the creature
"Ben?" Mikasa asked with a confused look on her face
Mikasa recognized the creature as Ben by the omnitrix badge on the black and white sash that the creature was wearing as well as having already seen it before. The creature was Ben who had transformed into his Vaxasuarian transformation that he called Humungousaur. Mikasa was wondering why Ben was transformed in the first place given how he avoided transforming around people for fear of being caught. Besides that, Mikasa saw a look of anger and rage on his face as he dealt with the Abnormal Titan which caused Mikasa to worry that something had happened.
"Something is wrong" Mikasa said to herself
"That was a strange looking Titan" one of the soldiers said
"It didn't look like any Titan that I've ever seen before" another soldier said
"Just write it down in the report and alert the others that there is an Abnormal Titan killing other Titans" Mikasa's team leader told the soldiers
It was only then that a loud bell began to ring throughout the city which signaled that the evacuations were all done. That meant that the soldiers would now be able to climb up the wall and escape. Mikasa, still having that feeling that something bad had happened, didn't want to evacuate just yet. She wanted to go and find Eren's group and see what was going on with him as well as what was going on with Ben. She knew that her blades were extremely dull and that she didn't have any replacements for them, meaning it would be dangerous but she didn't care.
"Aren't you going to evacuate with the rest of us?" A soldier asked Mikasa as she was walking away from the gate
Mikasa stopped and turned around to face the soldier
"I can't, I need to head back and make sure everything is alright with someone important to me" Mikasa answered
"Don't be a hero, you could end up dead" the soldier tells Mikasa, warning her
"A friend of mine once told me that if you have the power to make a difference or to save a life, you have an obligation to do it as it is wrong to just sit by and do nothing when there is something you can do to make a difference " Mikasa said
The soldier could see that Mikasa was serious about going back into the city and wasn't going to stop her
"Alright then, just be safe" the soldier told Mikasa before continuing to scale the wall
Mikasa then started to run and head off to where Eren's group was, zipping into the air using her Mobility Gear to move through the air. While in the air, Mikasa remembered that day when Ben had told her and Eren about being a hero and what it meant to be one.

Fields: Outside Shiganshina District, Wall Maria
A young Mikasa was sitting down in the fields outside of the Shiganshina District with a young Ben and young Eren after a long day of collecting wood. The three were all sitting down and enjoying some sandwiches that Eren's mother had made for them before they left.
"Man Eren, your mom must be magic or something" Ben said as he ate one of the sandwiches
"Yeah, my mom's sandwiches are the best" Eren said with a chuckle
The three continued to eat as the sun continued to shine down on them
"Hey Ben" Mikasa said, getting Ben's attention
"What is it Mikasa?" Ben asked Mikasa as he stopped eating
"I was wondering what your universe is like" Mikasa said as she ate her sandwich
"Yeah, I want to know too" Eren said, wanting to know more about Ben's universe
It was true that Eren and Mikasa didn't know much other than the fact that Ben was from a different universe and that it had far more advanced technology than this one but that was all they knew
"Come on Ben, tell us about it" Eren said to Ben
"Please tell us what your universe is like?" Mikasa asked Ben
Looking at the two of them and seeing that they really wanted to know more about his universe, Ben decided to tell then a little about it
"Well, my universe as you already know is completely different one from this universe as there aren't any Titans and people don't live behind walls or at least some people do while others don't" Ben said, telling Eren and Mikasa about his universe
"Tell us more" Eren said
"If there aren't any Titans, what kinds of threats do you face?" Mikasa asked Ben
"While we don't have Titans, my universe has all types of bad guys that want to do evil things for all sorts of different reasons and a lot of them are like the aliens that I can transform into" Ben answered, explaining more of what his universe was like
"How does your universe deal with those criminals?" Eren asked Ben
"Well, we have the local police for human bad guys but we also have the Plumbers to deal with the more serious threats" Ben answered as he began to ear another sandwich
"Plumbers?" Eren and Mikasa asked with a confused look on their faces
Ben realized that these two didn't know what the Plumbers were or what they did since they weren't in this universe
"The Plumbers are a lot like the Military Police but you don't need to be special to join them and they help everyone all over" Ben said, trying to explain what the Plumbers were and what they did
"That sounds cool, if I were in your universe I'd definitely want to be a Plumber" Eren said
Looking at Eren, Ben knew that Eren along with Mikasa would make great Plumbers when they got older
"Then what do you do?" Mikasa asked Ben
"Yeah, if the Plumbers are around, what do you do?" Eren asked Ben
"Well, I help the Plumbers out but I also help people and save the day from even greater threats because that's what a hero like me does" Ben answered, explaining what he did
Once again, it looked like neither Eren or Mikasa knew what it was that Ben was talking about
"What's a hero?" Mikasa asked Ben
Ben knew that he needed to answer this question perfectly so the two didn't get any wrong ideas or ended up still confused
"Well, a hero is someone who goes out of their way to help people from the threats that they can't help themselves from, they use their skills and powers to do whatever they can to make sure everyone and everything is safe and that nothing bad can happen to innocent people" Ben answered, explaining to Eren and Mikasa what a hero was and what they did
"Why did you become a hero?" Eren asked Ben
Ben lifted up his arm and pointed at the omnitrix on his wrist
"I always wanted to save people and be a hero but didn't have the strength to do it until I got the omnitrix, at first I was a bit selfish with it but then I got some advice from my grandpa that helped me stay on the path of a hero" Ben answered
"What did he say?" Eren asked
"My grandpa told me that once I got the omnitrix I could no longer live a normal life and that I now had the power to make a difference and to save lives and that I had an obligation to do it since it would be wrong to sit around and do nothing when there is something that I can do, heroes sacrifice themselves and their lives to save people no matter the cost and I guess it just resonated with me" Ben answered, telling Eren and Mikasa what it meant to be a hero and what his grandfather had told him
After telling them that, Ben could see that both of them now had a better understanding of what it a hero was and what it meant to be one as well as what being a hero entailed
"That's really awesome Ben, I want to be a hero like you and save people here" Eren said
"What about you Mikasa?" Ben added Mikasa, looking over at her as she finished eating her sandwich
"I guess I could be a hero but I don't know if I have what it takes" Mikasa answered with a shrug
"Don't worry Mikasa, I'm sure you'll be an amazing hero if you chose to be one" Ben tells Mikasa with a confident look on his face

City Streets: Trost District, Wall Rose
"I'm gonna be a hero Ben, but first I need to make sure that you and Eren alright" Mikasa said to herself as she zipped through the streets of the Trost District
Mikasa was headed straight for where Eren's group was supposed to be as well as where the other recruits were supposed to gather once they had finished their tasks. Mikasa was focused on getting their as fast as she could, killing any Titans that got in her away which to her surprise there weren't that many. Looking down on the ground, Mikasa saw multiple mutilated and already melting Titan corpses all over the place. She wondered if all of this was Ben's doing and wondered what was going on to make him act like this.
"This can not be good" Mikasa said as she continued to make her way through the Trost District

City Streets: Trost District, Wall Rose
Elsewhere in the Trost District, Ben in his Vaxasuarian form, Humungousaur, he was tossing around Titans like it was nothing. He smashed them into building, threw them down on the ground, stomping on them and ripping them apart into pieces. Using his powers, Ben grew in size which caused armored plates to grow out of his body going down his back as well as growing on his arms. The Titans didn't stand a chance as Ben ripped them limb from limb, even ripping some of their heads off with their spines still connected. At this point, Ben wasn't even focused on finding the Titan that had killed Eren as he was completely engulfed by his rage and only wanted to kill and destroy every single Titan that he saw. Not even the Abnormal Titans stood a chance against Ben as he broke all the bones in their bodies, killing them before they could regenerate.
Ben wasn't talking and was letting out load monstrous roars as his rampage continued without an end in site. At one point, Ben grabbed a smaller Titan and used it as a weapon to beat a larger Titan to death, killing both Titans in the process. There was no point in trying to reason with Ben as he was basically acting like an enraged animal who wouldn't stop for anything. And while all of that carnage and destruction was going on, a familiar cloaked mysterious figure was standing on the top of the wall and was watching all of this happening.

Top Of Wall Rose: Trost District, Wall Rose
On the top of Wall Rose, looking down at the Trost District as more and more Titans flooded inside and Ben, who was rampaging through city, destroying everything and killing any Titan that got in his path was a familiar looking figure who was wearing black armor
"Even now Tennyson let's his feeble human emotions guide him, what a disgrace " the armored figure with the sound of disgust in their voice
They continued to watch Ben going on his rampage as well as looking over at Mikasa who was headed to where the other recruits were, having no idea of what was going on
"Poor girl is about to have her heart broken, hopefully she'll die and won't be a problem in the future " the armored figure said, looking at Mikasa
Looking around, the armored figure caught the glimpse of something that caught their attention
"Looks like it is almost time, these people are going to soon discover that there is something far greater to fear than these ordinary Titans, let us hope the Time Walker doesn't interfere " the armored figure said with an evil laugh before vanishing into a cloud of black smoke

The battle for the Trost District rages on as it seems as though all hope has been lost and it seems like there is no point in trying to continue to fight. Ben has been lost to his anger and rage and Mikasa is about to find out what has happened to Eren. There does not seem to be an end in site for anyone and it this point, things are looking like they are going to just be a repeat of what happened all those years ago when Wall Maria fell. Let us just hope that Ben and the others will be able to regain themselves and keep their composure as they all try to find a way to either save Wall Maria and the Trost District or try to find a way to escape from this blood filled nightmare.

Author's Note
Hello there readers, it is SJMS09 and here is the 8th chapter of Omni-Titan, I hope that all of you enjoyed it and are ready for what is coming in the next chapter. Ben is continuing his anger fueled rampage throughout the Trost District while Mikasa has no idea what is going on or even knows that Eren has died. You got to see another flashback with Ben telling Eren and Mikasa about his universe as well as him explaining to them what a hero is and what a hero does. Sorry that it has taken so long for this chapter to come out but I wanted to focus on getting my other story, Road Trip caught up to this one as well as getting my other story, Omni-Kaiju caught up with both my Omni-Punch story and Charmed story. Now that its happened, I am going to continue updating my stories as normal so you shouldn't have to worry about long wait times for new chapters.
In this chapter, you got to see Ben use more of his Pyronite form, Heatblast as he melted away all of the Titans even going supernova at one point. You also got to see Ben use his Vaxasuarian transformation, Humungousaur to continue his rampage through the Trost District and kill more Titans along the way. Little heads up, it's going to be a minute after this chapter before Ben uses the omnitrix again so I hope you don't mind having a few chapters were Ben doesn't transform. Now, while Ben won't be transforming for a chapter or so, that doesn't mean the action is going to die down. The battle for the Trost District is continuing and it is only going to pick up more as Ben and the others encounter a new type of Titan and come up with a plan of escape. Moving on, I am now going to be responding to the comments from the previous chapter.

Milo S Derek – I agree with you on that which is why I do plan on having Ben use fewer transformations in the story for these next few chapters as well as for future chapters. I do want Ben to stick out once his powers are inevitably revealed and I do want to keep it from ending up with Ben becoming the answer to everyone problem.

Hello there readers, I am going to be holding a poll to see what special features you would like to see Ben have for this story. What I mean by that is that what unique omnitrix feature would you like Ben to be able to use in this story like ultimates or omni-kick armor. The reason I'm holding this poll is because every Ben in all of the stories I'm doing right now has an extra omnitrix ability that Ben can use. So far, this as well as Road Trip are the only two stories where Ben doesn't have any extra powers he can use. Which is why I want you readers to vote on which omnitrix ability you'd like to see be added to this story with these being the voting options.
